In this episode of the podcast, host Dan Hafner interviews Grady Teske, a seasoned expert with over 250 B2B tech launches under his belt. Grady shares invaluable insights on effective product launches, marketing strategies, and building sustainable distribution channels. Key Points: Distribution is King: Grady emphasizes the importance of building and owning distribution channels. He argues that focusing on distribution often leads to better product outcomes than obsessing over product perfection. Consistent Launching: Rather than aiming for one perfect launch, Grady advocates for multiple, iterative launches. This approach allows for continuous learning and improvement. Data Capture and Engagement: A crucial aspect of successful launches is capturing user data and maintaining ongoing communication with your audience. Grady stresses the importance of owning your user database. Leveraging AI in Marketing: Grady discusses how AI can automate analytics, assist in content creation, and even manage aspects of marketing. He predicts the rise of client-specific AI agents in the near future. Content Strategy: Creating high-quality, intent-driven content is vital. Grady advises using platforms like Reddit, Quora, and YouTube for long-tail SEO benefits and building authority. Community Engagement: Utilizing community platforms like Product Hunt and partnering with influential community members can significantly amplify reach during launches. Podcast Marketing: Grady highlights how podcast appearances can be effective for building authority and should be integrated with other marketing efforts. If you're ready to take your product launches to the next level, start by evaluating your current distribution channels. Visit gradytesky.com to learn more about Grady's fractional CMO services and Rising Tides agency. Don't forget to subscribe to his newsletter for free insights on building systems that become businesses. Remember, keep building and launching – the simpler and faster you can create and launch products, the better off you'll be in this era of rapid innovation.

RISING TIDES, 103min,. USA Directed by Charlie Spickler Rising Tides is the story of how climate change is affecting the fishing communities on the East Coast, the Coral in the Keys and the domino effect it has on the various regions. We are looking at the Science of Climate change and the politics of what is and what is not being done in Congress. http://www.risingtidesfilm.com/ Get to know the filmmaker: What motivated you to make this film? I read an article in the New York Times about the Peconic Bay Scallops dying before they could be harvested. I grew up out on Long Island, so this became personal for me. That led me to looking at the Blue Crabs down in Maryland and the bleaching coral down in Miami and the Keys and next thing you know, – Climate Change doc. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video? I was overwhelmed. Especially some of the comments that were made that literally mimicked my reasons for making the film, I wanted this film to be accessible and understandable for people with no experience with climate change and or the science of global warming. I wanted to present this information in a way that was understandable, Based on the comments I think I succeeded in doing that. This week focuses on San Diego's maritime heritage with Dr. Ray Ashley from the Maritime Museum of San Diego. As President and CEO, Dr. Ashley leads one of the most prominent institutions on San Diego Bay, recognized as one of the top three maritime museums globally. It includes one of the finest collections of historic vessels, including the oldest active ship, Star of India. In his talk with Jen, Dr. Ashley explains how the museum integrates San Diego's maritime past into the present day, highlighting both the economic and cultural contributions of the local maritime industry and the important role the museum plays in educating the public.   Timestamps: [1:50] Maritime Museum's role in educating people about San Diego's history and connection to the Bay. [2:58] The Museum's role in educating residents and visitors about the history of San Diego. [4:09] How the museum uses storytelling to inform and shape the future. [6:35] Cultural and economic significance of San Diego Bay. [9:13] Integrating human and environmental histories into exhibits to address problems. [11:30] More about the Rising Tides and Fragile Waters exhibits. [13:56] Providing access to the bay through historic sailing tours and sailing experiences. [15:32] The economic impact the Maritime Museum has had on the San Diego region. [20:40] Exciting plans for The Maritime Museum, including a new waterfront structure. [23:02] How can people get more involved?   About C-3   Even before the California Coastal Commission or Environmental Protection Agency existed, Citizens Coordinate for Century 3 (C-3) was the environmental conscience of San Diego. Since that time, in part due to C-3's leadership in education, advocacy, and empowerment, a plethora of organizations have developed throughout San Diego County. These organizations specifically focus on promoting progressive values in architecture, urban design, land-use governance, natural resource management, sustainable economic development, climate change resilience, and social justice. As the field of allies has grown, C-3's role has evolved to provide a platform that promotes creating civic community.   Opportunities for Advocacy and Engagement: C3sandiego.org Maritime Museum of San Diego   Quotes: “San Diego is what it is because of the Bay, and because of the maritime connections.” — Ray [3:17] “The sea is a resource that we use for recreation, fishing, trade, and defense, and we like to take care of it as best we can.” — Ray [3:52] “Ultimately, we do become the stories we tell.” — Ray [4:48] “Maritime Museum provides a simple organizing function for that information about how this giant cluster maritime enterprise came to be in the first place, and how it continues to function.” — Ray [18:00] "If there's a secret sauce that I think we share with other kinds of organizations like ours, our particular secret is the ships. And by connecting your life and their lives, you do move towards becoming the better version of yourself.” — Ray [22:17]

Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) In this compelling episode of The Wright Report, former CIA Operations Officer Bryan Dean Wright takes listeners through a series of pressing issues currently shaping America and the wider world. Wright kicks off with an alarming update on America's soaring inflation rates, highlighting the unexpected surge in the consumer price index and its cascading effects on the stock market and federal interest rate policies. He delves into the sectors hit hardest by inflation, such as elder care and auto insurance, critiquing the administration's response and its broader economic implications. The episode then shifts focus to the complex issue of illegal migration, spotlighting two distinct phenomena: the involvement of Chinese illegals in a sophisticated gift card scam and the growing discontent among Hispanic Americans over the handling of the migration crisis. Wright provides an in-depth analysis of these challenges, underscoring the political and social ramifications. The narrative takes a sharp turn to discuss the controversial debate over the federal government's surveillance capabilities, particularly the rejection of a bill aimed at extending warrantless spying on Americans. Wright provides historical context, recent misuse cases, and bipartisan opposition to the bill, fostering a discussion on privacy, trust, and the balance between security and liberty. Furthermore, Wright addresses the evolving landscape of modern warfare and espionage, emphasizing the strategic importance of drone technology. He presents a detailed examination of Iran and China's advancements in drone capabilities, contrasting them with the perceived stagnation in American drone technology and strategy. The episode concludes with a thought-provoking discussion on the unintended consequences of debt forgiveness programs, using medical debt forgiveness as a case study to question similar initiatives in other sectors, such as student loans. Through rigorous analysis, expert insights, and a keen eye on both domestic and international events, "Rising Tides: Navigating Through Inflation, Surveillance, and the Global Drone Race" offers listeners a comprehensive understanding of today's most pressing issues, urging them to reflect on the path forward for America and the global community.

His passion for helping others is rooted in his belief in God, a strong faith, hard work ethic and consistency. I had the opportunity of MC'ing his Rising Tides event held at his facility prior to his other creation, WODAPALOOZA kicking off down at Bayshore Miami. Admittedly I was quite nervous walking into PEAK but was greeted warmly and felt a part of from the minute of walking through the doors. After a successful evening I got to speaking with Guido and invited him on the show. One of my favorite things to do is travel podcast so on the eve on the Crossfit Open I drove down and spent some time learning more about Guidos story and how he grew a small gym into what it is today. He is NOT a morning person and never has been but once he gets going its doesn't stop. His morning routine is filled with God, family and focus. His week is already planned so after his morning routine he heads to the gym to surround himself with an amazing community. Wherever land meets sea, global warming is wreaking havoc. As the ocean absorbs heat generated by the burning of fossil fuels and its attendant climate breakdown, its waters swell into overwhelming tides and city-engulfing storms. Glaciers melt, Pacific Islands shrink, Indonesians flee their seaside capital, and North Carolina's beaches disappear with each passing supercharged hurricane. On this show, we talk with Environmental Reporter from the Los Angeles Times, Rosanna Xia, as she delves into these issues in her book, California Against the Sea. Sea level rise threatens low-lying coastal and estuarine zones which may have nearly one billion inhabitants worldwide by 2030. Thus, those residents will lose their homes and businesses, maybe their possessions and have to migrate to higher ground, if they survive the transition. To adapt, governments, industries, and communities must work collaboratively through integrated, multidimensional management schemes that cross the boundaries of natural sciences, environmental justice advocacy, and engineering. Sadly, in our short-term speculative real estate-centric world, we are nowhere close to working together…but there are some positive signs. Journalist and author Rosanna Xia provides an in-depth look at the complex challenges coastal communities face from rising seas. She draws on years of covering coastal management to unpack contentious issues like managed retreat, where communities acknowledge the ocean's inevitable reclamation of land. We discuss the plight of homeowners and businesses struggling to save their properties as well as innovative solutions like wetland restoration, Xia brings her extensive reporting to bear on how we can create more sustainable and resilient coastlines.
