So we are approaching that time of year when there will be a break from schools and typically work schedules. This is such a great opportunity to reset yourself, your home life, and your kids. If we're all being honest, when life gets really busy we tend to get ourselves into habits that we don't necessarily love. The holidays are a time where we think we are going to have so much fun, memories to be made, trees to be decorated, carols singing all around, Christmas music aka Mariah Carey, Queen of Christmas playing in our home, the smell of yummy treats, Christmas parties to go to, gifts to buy, presents to open, traditions etc. But to be honest, how many times have the holidays come and you feel sad, confused, frustrated, down, alone, frustrated, uneventful, upset with family, etc.? The FBI agent is from Violent crimes against kids and sex trafficking department.If you find your child in a dangerous situation online, CALL FBI and POLICE immediately. Do not clean your phone before sharing, take videos or photos from your phone if the messages on their phone do not screen shot on their phone then the person on the other end can see the screenshots and may ghost them. Hey there momma!! Can we get real and raw?? Being a parent is hard. Being a Mom is hard. If you want to add the word “successful” which we all want to strive for, that adds another layer of hardness. What does a successful mom even mean? Well, it's different for each person right? Add on the other roles you carry… Wife, employee, daughter, friends, all the things together- How do we hold it all together and not lose our SH** Today we will share a few things that you can do to boost your mindset. First, I think we have to define what success looks like for you as an individual. We want to stop for a moment and ask you how much time and effort you spend on a weekly basis in your mindset? The very first part of this is self-awareness. If you are aware when your mindset is good or can be improved, this is truly the first step in improving it. There is one thing that is absolutely true, all the duties that you carry in life are going to have highs and lows. There are going to be struggles in life and challenging times ahead. When you have a good, positive, healthy mindset, it makes the struggles and challenges in life a little bit different. You can handle them generally with more ease and more positive outcomes. You can do this by getting up 20 minutes early and spending time pouring into starting your day in a positive way. Saying affirmations, spending time in God's word, doing a journal or simply listening to a positive YouTube or podcast. If you don't feel like the morning time is good, spend a few minutes at lunch or right before you head into work period if you drive to work, you can use your drive time to pour into your mindset. Doing this on a daily basis will only create a healthy habit for you that will last all day long and when you have those storms crashing in on your life. Creating boundaries in your life is something that will keep the stress levels at bay. When I say boundaries, I mean knowing where your priorities are for the time of your life that you are in. We all have different seasons where we are able to give more time to certain things, knowing what season you're in, and where you spend your time and energy, will really improve your mindset and the balance of managing all of your different roles in life. One of my favorite outlets is self development and finding a tribe of women who are working on becoming a better version of themselves. Join a book club, join a life group at your church, or lean into a group of friends or a team that you are a part of. If you have not found a group of people who you can lean into to help you grow your mindset and improve who you are in these roles each day, this is something that can really help you with your growth. Today we are talking about how to stay positive without positivity bypass.For starters, positivity bypass is when you believe that everything will work out in the end if you stay positive. This leads to people suppressing their negative emotions and refusing to deal with their problems head-on. Have you done that before? Or had someone say things like, “Just write your gratitude's it will be okay”“Just think positive” Now, what I am not saying (and hear me loud and clear) is that gratitude and saying positive things are bad things. They are scientifically proven to help.But what I found in my life is, I was not actually dealing with any emotions, I just pushed them down with a smile on my face. Can you relate?Suppressing and not dealing with your emotions can lead to anger, drinking too much, unbalanced hormones, masculinity or felinity overload, disease, and even Cancer…yep it can.Now how do we stay positive and happy and not bypass our feelings? Today we will share 4 ways:1. Workout and release your emotions. While working out you release endorphins and serotonin and if you are able to scream or grunt it helps release those emotions.2. Journal or meditate.3. Regulate your nervous system. You can do this by screaming, singing loud, dancing, yoga movement, deep breaths multiple times a day, PMA present moment awareness, and being in nature4. Forgive others. Forgiveness is less about that person and more about you. God always wants the best for us but that does not mean there will not be hard times, that evil won't show up sometimes, and even show up in others. Yep we have all been there and be honest maybe even said…Why is no one working, why are they not going for the contest or XYZ, why are they not doing more?Well STOPYEP Stop saying things like that.YOu know what you focus on grows and I bet your momma told you growing up to focus on yourself not others.Today we will share how to do that. Because we get it you are a leader you do have teammate that are saying they want to hit XYZ or achieve XYZ and that is frustrating, and yes know that you have to have them hit certain goals in order to hit your goals…but there is a way to help your team along and not pull them along.It is called LEADING the charge, leading from the front, being the leader, whatever you want to call it.Lead your pack by doing these simple thingsShow them you are leading the pack…incentive out? earn it , promo out? do it, leaderboard be on it, daily action show them what you are doing….How?You can win all contests or just show them you earned it or are going for it at least.I always go live on our team page when we have a company promo, I break it down, share how I am going to do it, I tell them if any wording/messages work I will share in the group under that video, I share the emails and message I use. That way they know I am going for it. I share when I plan to earn it by, when I earn it I make sure to ask an upline leader to shout me out so my team sees is.During non promo times I like to show what is working for me. I got a new customer, hop on team page or thread and share or host a quick zoom to share the wording you used, the approach.WhY? Because the best copy cat wins! They just need to know how…and wouldn't you rather follow the leader who is actually doing things over the one who just likes to train all the time?Host a working zoom once a week especially during summer even if no one shows up you record it. You are showing what you do, breaking it down, and then getting them to watch recording. Maybe offer an incentive for those who join you2. Lead your pack by sharing what you are doing for morning routine and personal development.3. Lead your pack by making sure you know their WHY….Why are they trying to hit a goal or a rank?Then share with them that you are asking their permission to remind them of this. How do you they want you to do that?Then you can share how you are held accountable? How are you?4. Lead your pack by making sure to always be on corporate things if you can . Our company holds zoom saturday trainings lately once a month and conference once a year and then 3 times a year a trip we can earn. I always earn the trip but cant always go on them. But i show them that I try, I ALWAYS go to conference and I try to be on the trainings. During company trainings you can host a watch party at your house, on a zoom, etc have fun prizes etc.5. Be on trainings and host trainings. That is right if your team is nto huge yet and you depend on your upline to host a weekly call or zoom then make sure you are on it. Offer a fun incentive like a free pack of product or a book to 1 random winner for being on with you. Then maybe host once a month as the leader a fun zoom before the team one, have a game or have someone share how they achieved XYZ6. Shout out those on your team who are having success in any area, Meslisa did 7 days of reels, Suzanne is #2 on your team, etc.Taking time to use positive reinformcemt will show them how to lead their teams too.Do you ahve any other ides for this? THRIVE is a word you may hear a lot like why survive when you can thrive..so today I am going to share 6 things you can do to thrive:T: Talk & Plan-yes not the norm for your age but it helps what do you have this week That you need your parents to help you with or drive you to what do you have this week that will require you to study maybe the night before etc.H: Healthy food choices I know you have heard this before but what if you added one vegetable to lunch and dinner and one fruit to breakfast?(maybe you can find some research on this to addd to here)R: Rest from technology. I know I know you all probably want to throw tomatoes at me right now but the reality is is our brains need to rest from all of this technology. So give yourself one hour every day of no technology maybe it's the hour before you go to bed. Give yourself one day a week will you all these take half the day to put down your phone. When you're out with your family or you're out with your friends make a fun bet and put everybody's phone in the middle of the table whoever grabs it first has to pay for dinner or do something silly. And I'm going to challenge you that when you go on a trip this summer with your family give yourself one full day of no technology. See how that changes the way that you feel enjoying each and every moment.I: nvest in your gutProbiotics did you know that probiotics that only help your gut which in return helps your mental health but also helps your mental clarity, energy, and even clear up acne. Hey there momma, today we are going to talk about a dirty word, that dirty word is burnout.If you're being honest with yourself, most likely you have had burnout either in your business, in some form of a relationship, maybe your job, or even something personal. Today we're going to be sharing some tips with you about how to keep going through burnout and maybe even how to prevent it.We want you to know that feeling burnout from time to time is extremely common. It could be that you're wrapped up in a big goal, having trouble mustering up the motivation to get to your goal, your home life is zapping your energy, or maybe you're just bored. You really need that recharge. This may be an episode that you want to grab your pen and paper for so you can take some notes and also share this podcast with other people whom you think are in burnout or maybe heading in that direction.The definition of burnout is the mental and physical exhaustion you experience when the demands of your work consistently exceed the amount of energy you have available it's actually an epidemic in the modern workplace period. According to the Harvard review, we are at greater risk of burnout today than we were ten years ago. In a large part, it's because we're surrounded by devices that are designed to grab our attention and make everything feel urgent. There's a lot of pressure in this 24/7 cycle and it can lead to you feeling lethargic, stressed, depleted literally spent.The number one thing you can do to prevent burnout or to stop it is taking time away from whatever is causing the stress. So for example, if you are building a business while working a full time job and raising a family, identify what is causing the stress? Whatever that is, take a week long break from it. It allows you to recharge and fill up your tank.One of the ways that Blair and Kellie do this is to create white space on our calendar where we truly put down our phones and we are not working our business. When you do this planning time off, it allows you to recharge your batteries on a regular basis so you never fully feel depleted.A very simple one that gets overlooked often is sleep, making sure that you're getting enough sleep and that you're resting well. The vitamin supplement system that Kellie and Blair promote has been key for us getting incredible sleep so that we wake up feeling refreshed. Also, getting some form of physical activity in each day. Whether it's simply walking doing yoga, or doing something to move your body and release endorphins because this truly can change your mood and your mindset.Put down devices. Period. It's so simple, but so hard to do. When you take time away from your computer, TV, your phone, it allows you to get connected with all your other senses.What kind of boundaries can you have around certain apps and screen time to limit this until you have control. We do this for our kids, why not us?Have fun, find a hobby, and do something that brings you joy. Maybe I medicate, do yoga, have lunch with a friend every Friday, walk your dog, but have something that fills my bucket each day. Wanna work together!? Stephanie Cook a member of Blessed Momma Bosses community asked a great question: Stephanie Cook : how to find balance in my business?(what do I do if I block and then get distracted by my kids, then my block comes to the end and I dont feel that I am done I keep going then my next block gets messed up )First we love block style work, you know it but lets give some tips for that first and share some other things too..1. time blocking what is it?Add on more time for each block then you think so you have time between to handle things, go to bathroom, breathe etc.If you have kids at home and are working from home can you find another working mom friend and do swap out?no then maybe you do nap time working only-not napping anymore?Then have a quiet time area and blocked time for them.Not able to get enough work done during nap time? then re evaluating what is in your IPA for the day are they things that are you moving your business forward? are they getting new clients or business builders?It may be time to figure that out early Saturday morning work blocks are great too2nd part of that question from Stephanie Cook was about what to do when your block runs over or isn't finished and you have the next one ready.What do you do then? Depends.
