The Women Changing The World podcast is an absolute gem that I am grateful to have discovered. From the moment I started listening, I knew that I had stumbled upon a show that would not only inspire me but also introduce me to voices of the world that lies ahead. The guests and host Lis Best are truly changing the world with their incredible work and it is a privilege to be able to learn from them through this platform.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the outstanding guest selection. Lis has a knack for finding individuals who are making a real impact in their respective fields and bringing them onto the show. Each episode offers unique insights and perspectives from women who are leading with authenticity, generosity, and empathy. It is truly empowering to hear their stories and wisdom, and it serves as a reminder that we are in good hands when it comes to shaping our future.
Another standout aspect of this podcast is Lis herself as the interviewer. Her energy is infectious and her passion for uplifting others shines through in every episode. She creates a welcoming environment for her guests to share their journeys, nuggets of wisdom, and tips for creating impact. Lis's genuine curiosity and enthusiasm make each conversation engaging and inspiring.
As for the worst aspects of this podcast, it is difficult to find any significant flaws. However, one minor critique could be directed towards the frequency of episodes. As a listener who thoroughly enjoys each episode, it would be wonderful if new episodes were released more frequently. However, given the quality of content provided in each episode, it's understandable that time may be needed to ensure top-notch interviews.
In conclusion, The Women Changing The World podcast is an absolute must-listen for anyone looking for inspiration, knowledge, and motivation to make an impact in their own lives and in the world. Lis Best has created a space where powerful thought leadership meets authentic storytelling, resulting in a podcast that leaves listeners inspired and ready to take on new challenges. The variety of knowledge, experiences covered, and emphasis on mindset and leading with authenticity make this podcast a true gem in the realm of personal and professional development.
In this episode, Lis Best is joined by Celi Arias, a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and selling 7-figure businesses and founder of Grown Ass Business™ (GAB). Celi offers insight into her GAB framework, why it's so effective, and a few mindset shifts entrepreneurs can make right now. Each program that Celi's company, Grown Ass Business™, offers addresses the fact that entrepreneurs tend to make business overly complicated when in almost every instance, some part of their business's foundations simply needs to be fortified. Celi is truly a master builder of rock-solid foundations. Celi and Lis discuss learning to read the story numbers tell, what can happen when you don't have a firm business grounding (it happens to a lot of people!), and Celi's choice to be transparent about fertility as an entrepreneur. Ultimately, Celi is determined to provide business owners with the tools they need to learn the rules and then break them so that founders can operate from a state of freedom (not overwhelm).
