Forged in the fires of Arizona's seminal 90s rave scene, Markus Schulz first went state, then national and with equal pace, international. From the building blocks of progressive trance & house, he crafted early anthems like ‘The New World' and latter-day ones like ‘Destiny'. He's helmed the scene-essential Coldharbour Recordings label for 13 years, chaired the Global DJ Broadcast radio show for 17 and remixed everyone from Moroder to Madonna. His floor-bound adventures have met with equal acclaim. Through his native audience affinity, flawless mixing, instinctive tune selection, and stylistically vast open-till-close sets, he has wowed crowds in every major city on Earth. Markus has scaled the upper reaches of the world's DJ rankings — a three-time winner of DJ Times' America's Best DJ crown ('12, '14 & ‘18) — and has drawn acclaim from every electronic music portal & press outlet on the planet. A regular fixture at the world's most famous clubs, arenas and festival stages, weekly, he continues to share his inimitable musical vision. In Europe, he's floored audiences at events like Transmission, Electronic Family, Nature One and Dance Valley. He's creamed Creamfields; gridlocked Global Gatherings and hosted his own stage at Tomorrowland. Stateside, EDC, Ultra, Nocturnal and numerous others have all similarly felt Schulz's presence. His legendary sets at spots like Space (Miami), Avalon (Los Angeles), Stereo (Montreal), Amnesia (Ibiza), as well as his International Residency at Ministry Of Sound, have become rites of passage for music lovers around the world.
Most recently, Markus conceived and delivered the ‘Watch The World' album. Released in October 2018, the album ran in the same stylistic vein as forerunner ‘We Are The Light', with a heavy, all-but-exclusive emphasis on song-based tracks. Again the album afforded Markus the much-desired chance to resume his songwriting, which first came to the fore on ‘WTW'. The album's first numbers were introduced by way of Spring ‘18's ‘In Bloom' EP. ‘Calling For Love', which featured vocals from JES, and the Emma Hewitt-sung ‘Safe From Harm' both debuted as part of the EP. Following in summer was ‘Upon My Shoulders', which featured frontman Sebu of indietronica outfit Capital Cities. The album also included a first-time collaboration with Christina Novelli, as well as co-productions with Romanian stars Smiley and Alina Eremia. ------------------ Tracklist: 1. Bio  With big successes already achieved in his still short career, Jay Hardway is proving to be a special one. His collaborations with wonder boy Martin Garrix are big dance floor bangers, receiving worldwide support from the biggest names in the scene as well as his solo work, which he recently released.   Born in small town Drunen, Jay Hardway started producing music when he was fourteen years old. Starting with small gigs in pubs by the time he reached 18 years of age he was playing for bigger crowds in clubs. The rising star, whose real name is Jobke Heiblom, was also noticed by Spinnin' Records, the worlds leading most independent dance record label and is now represented by ACE Agency, whose roster includes big names such as Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Sidney Sampson and NERVO. Inspired by Tiësto's DJ-ing, and by the productions of Afrojack, Laidback Luke and Vato Gonzalez, he developed his own skills. Four years later, after doing lots of hard work and producing, Jay Hardway has multiple releases on his resume. His track ‘Error 404' with Martin Garrix, released in March 2013, reached #16 in the Beatport chart. The collaboration with Martin Garrix was such a big success that the two teamed up again on ‘Wizard'. With support from the biggest DJ's in the world, 3,6 million views on YouTube in one week, a #1 position in the DMC Buzz Chart a week before release, and a phenomenal #1 position on Beat port two days after the release, ‘Wizard' has become one of 2013, biggest EDM hits. In 2014 Jay dropped his first solo track ‘Bootcamp', which ended up high in the Beatport chart. And that's not all for 2014! With some cool collaborations ahead of him and, his frequently posted impressive ‘Inspire' podcasts and big gigs in clubs like Hakkasan Las Vegas and festivals al around the globe like Electric Daisy Carnaval New York, Dance Valley and MTV Mobile Beats it's safe to say that this boy is set for great things.   Tracklist  1) Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway - Spotless 2) Jordy Dazz - Stamina 3) Going Deeper feat. Seguono entusiasti festival all'estero come Dance Valley,Time Warp,Awakenings,I Love Techno,Sensation,Sonar ascoltando i vari set di artisti come Sven Vath,Stephan Bodzin,Chris Liebing,Robert Hood,Jeff Mills,Dixon,Ame,John Talbot,Nina Kraviz,Rebekah,Kriz,Oscar Mulero,Len Faki,Marco Carola,Tale of us e molti molti altri !!! It is our pleasure to present you our guests for June, 05, 2015. Glowrec. Our brother fro the Glowrec. family ZaVen (DJ - Producer) all the way from Heiloo , Netherlands. Sven Dekker, also known as ZaVen is a dj and producer that has been a noticeable figure in the party scene of the Netherlands since 1989. His sound appealed to chillout & lounge lovers. ZaVen was born in 1973 in Alkmaar where he lived for 24 years. At the age of 20, his musical journey started and he walked in with his first set of Technics 1200SL, an amplifier, a Datec Mixer and two big speakers. Though it was a challenging learning experience, through volume restrictions, family complaints and neighbours’ objections, ZaVen refused to quit his learning curve of mixing skills. On the contrary, he persisted his path to creating his own tracks and his own signature sound. He started production on PC programs like Screamtracker and Madtracker. Those tracks were based on styles TripHop and experimental Breakbeat. In 1998, ZaVen moved to a small village called Heiloo where he still resides today. His first gig started in 2001 when he played at an underground party called 'Alice in Wonderland' at 'De Raad' Alkmaar. He presented the crowd with some of his own tracks and others with an underground taste of ambient records. 2005 marked a milestone for ZaVen when his mixing and production talent didn’t stay unnoticed and he was invited to play at prominent festivals, like Dance Valley in the Chill Out area. Following his success, he was inspired to divert from his usual chillout sound and started exploring arising sounds like techno, deep and tech house. This affected his production as he was still using Madtracker, while modern programs like Cubase, Ableton, Pro-Logic were available. People were amazed with what ZaVen could do with trackerprogram in combination with Cool Edit Pro for sampling, yet convinced him that using modern programs will result in much better productions. In 2014, ZaVen started to use Fruity Loops 10 interface and within couple of weeks he got his first demo tracks on Soundcloud. Lucas Fox and DMC World placed his track 'Sky Castle' on 'LFSTyle in Ibiza, vol.1' cd and Glowrec offered ZaVen his first EP 'Roomservice' with 3 tech house tracks. His EP is a combination of warm groovy beats with melodies now known to be a typical ZaVen sound. Filterheadz (BEL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 33 Pt. 2 Bio: Filterheadz are best known for their smash techno hits Sunshine & Yimanya as well as their highly energetic DJ performances. It all started somewhere in the 80’s when brothers Bert & Maarten Wilmaers picked up their first musical instruments. Bert on guitar & Maarten on drums. Influenced by The Police, U2 & Simple Minds they took their first steps on the way to Rock ‘n Roll stardom.... Well not exactly. After a decade of hammering away in rehearsal rooms and local stages their dream to become rockstars took a surprising twist. Almost by accident they discovered the groovy rhythms of US House Music, influenced by Roger Sanchez, Masters At Work & David Morales the boys started experimenting with loops and disco samples. Their very first US style house tracks saw the light. Armed with those tracks, the boys approached Belgian record company Headroom Music who saw the potential and took them under their wings. After a few releases under several monikers, they decided to go with ‘Filterheadz’, with the idea of releasing some more ‘Filter Disco’ records…things turned out slightly different. Two things happened almost simultaneously. First there was their remix of Minimalistix 'Struggle for Pleasure' that turned out to be an instant classic in the progressive house scene. Prolific labels like Hooj Choons, Platipus, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi and Renaissance stood in line to call upon their remix skills. The second, and most important thing: They discovered Techno. Together with Belgian DJ Tomaz they embarked on a Techno Journey that would eventually lead them to Carl Cox’ Intec where they released their all time classic “Sunshine”. Two years later they would take their signature sound even further and release “Yimanya”, another big hit. In the mean time extensive tours took Filterheadz to every corner of the globe and placed them high on the bill of events like I love Techno, Dance Valley & Tomorrowland and headlining clubs like Zouk, Womb, Ministry of Sound, Fabrik (Madrid) and so on. Their remix engine kept running full steam: Green Velvet ‘La La Land’, Eddie Amador ‘House Music’, Delirium ‘Silence’, Faithless ‘I want more’ and Eric Prydz ‘Call on me’ just to name a few. Further releases like Cartagena & Endless Summer showcased their unique blend of techno beats and melodies. The balance started to shift, less Techno & more melodic. Although tracks like “Day at the beach” & “Everything explained” on Sander Van Doorn’s label proved to be successful, clearly something was missing... Looking back at their history and inspired by their heroes Marco Bailey & Carl Cox they decided it was time for a change. The Phoenix rises from the ashes. 2012 not only marks the 10th anniversary of Sunshine and a release of a smashing remix package on 1605. It also marks the return to techno. With a string of new releases on MB Elektronics, Intec, 1605, Respekt & Toolroom. Filterheadz are once again ready to rock dance floors all over the world. Tracklist: 01. Tomy DeClerque - Room Full Of Tools - Night Light Records 02. Dimitri Motofunk & George Libe - Antidote - Remain LTD 03. Tom Hades - 5 Dollar Heart - Triangle 04. In the late seventies, when the DJ profession was not yet widespread, as defined as today (especially in Italy), was one of those who seriously contributed to the birth and development of the Italian house music. This passion for innovative music brought Montanari to spend entire afternoons listening to vinyl records, collecting them, starting from several hundreds up to his collection of 40,000 records. Montanari, thanks to its broad vision of musical styles gets a taste and knowledge of the various languages of the melodies, bringing in different influences to his work that lead to a style always new and unique. Ricky Montanari’s professional history began in the mid- eighties, debuting alongside his old friend Cirillo at Insomnia in Cattolica. Immediately after he arrives at Peter Pan in Riccione, where he began getting noticed by industry professionals. His novitiate coincides with the explosion of house music in Italy, and it is at this time that Ricky moved to London, from where he will import the most wanted and unavailable productions directly on the Italian market, making known, also to the Italian public, sounds absolutely new, with modern reinterpretations of the old funk and black music. Doing so Ricky Montanari became one of the leader of this group of professionals. In 1988 he became resident at Ethos Mama Club in Gabicce Mare, and at the same time is the absolute protagonist of the first Italian after-hour Diabolik’a. Montanari’s name is indelibly connected to the Vae Victis, a great after-hour born from the Diabolik’a experience, which became so fashionable among young people to be devoted from the British specialist magazine DJ Mag as one of the best club in the world.mAt the beginning of the nineties is one of the leaders of Echoes in Misano Adriatico, and of Matis Club in Bologna, in the same period he returns to London to forge professional relationships with many leading figures of the house scene including Kid Batchelor, with which he will divides the console of Confusion. From this time the talent of Ricky is recognized around the world, taking him to guest almost everywhere: from Los Angeles to Manchester, Tokyo, Rotterdam, Barcelona, Monaco, Brussels, Zurich, Singapore, Miami, without forgetting the famous Dance Valley in Amsterdam and the Stereo Club in Montreal, which is considered one of the best clubs in the world. Alongside the spread of his Dj-sets, Ricky became producer and remixer. All this confirms the stylistic precision that made him famous.

Manifest Podcast 015 - Ben WoollardSince discovering the big, bad beat of the drum Ben has always found sense in the wonderful soundscape of techno that has often proved elusive in the nonsense of reality. Initially introduced to electronic music by friends at Tribal Gathering, Megadog, early Dance Valley parties in Holland and most significantly, the now defunct Orbit in Morley.Once the big boom boom was embraced and whole-heartedly adopted, a life-long obsession began. Ben first dabbled in promotion with the trilogy of MAPt parties in Sheffield in 2006 with long-term arch-banterer and kindred spirit Dom Roffey and was then heavily involved in the early years of seminal Leeds techno night Detatched. This developed both a very personal musical taste and a knack of putting together tracks one after another to form mixes from the heart. Perhaps not the most technically gifted DJ, a passionate and all-out affair is usually guaranteed when pressing play on one of his mixes. Most recently, Ben has been a small twig in the ever-growing family tree that is TrusT Recordings. The label has so far released their first album “Acceptance” which is available to download for free from http://blog.subsekt.com/trust/ the label’s new home from home. The Terrace Podcast Presents this weeks special guest "Lilith" from Amsterdam. There is an underlying order in this universe, which expresses itself in the form of numerical relations. This universal order is the basis of my music. I do this because I believe that when your music is based on this order, you can touch people in the most profound way.” - Lilith, July 2011 Rising Dutch house and techno talent Lilith is showing herself to be as independent and as strong a force as her mythological namesake in today's tough musical climate. Born Caroline Arends, the Amsterdam residenat takes her sobriquet from the woman who, in Jewish mythology, was said to be Adam's wife (move over Eve). She left her husband as she felt too constrained and subservient to him – and it's that same desire to be individual and different that drives this emerging start. First embracing the art and science of DJing in 2004, Lilith spent 7 years as one half of Naald & Draad, developing a weighty, bullshit-free groovy tech house sound that won her and her partner-in-crime great acclaim across her native country and continent. 2010 was to be both the year they released their first record – the cheeky From Blossom Till Dawn on Daniel Sanchez's acclaimed Bla Bla Records – and the year they parted company. In the summer of 2010, Lilith was born as a solo DJ and producer. One with big ambitions. Following on from playing national festival and club mainstays like Mysteryland, Dance Valley, Melkweg, Catwalk, Rockit Open Air, Welcome To The Future Open Air, TWSTD and places further afield like Ibiza's legendary Bora Bora, she now holds down a residency at Amsterdam's legendary bastion of all things underground, Studio 80. She also plays a part in organising the bi-monthly Warehouse parties at Rotterdam's Pakhuis, spreading the good word of house and techno across both of the country's major cities. Across the years, she's played alongside heroes of the scene, from Dennis Ferrer Jeff Mills to Guy Gerber, Karotte to Tobi Neumann, Ripperton to Gregor Tresher and many more. Lilith debuted her live act in July 2011 on the main stage at Have Nice Day festival to great acclaim. Her first release as Lilith - Angel's Love on Monique Musique - has proved to be an even bigger success than she could have hoped for, smashing the Space Ibiza opening party with its sensual rhythms, and receiving support from the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Loco Dice, Carlo Lio, Gel Abril, Hernan Cattaneo, Andrew Grant,Maya Jane Coles, Julien Chaptal, Anton Pieete and more. It points a finger to a very bright career in the studio, while her strengths and popularity as a DJ continue to blossom thanks to her harmonically-tailored mixing skills and exquisite track selection. Lilith recently released a much anticipated and well-received "Master Codes EP" (release date 24/01/2012, Memoria Recordings). Fully immersed in creating and promoting the music she loves so passionately, Lilith is definitely here to stay. www.theterracepodcast.com

Pioneer "is one that first opens or discover paths through unknown regions." The career of DJ and producer Anderson Noise is a pioneer in electronic music from Brazil. Born in Belo Horizonte, Noise started slowly, as is the custom in his region, but never stopped to take some steps toward success. Named in DJ Mag as the "breakthrough DJ of 2008" by Adam Beyer, the last year has proven to be nothing short of that title for Kyle Geiger.  Within the first year of his premier vinyl release, Kyle has achieved international notoriety, a feat that many never accomplish in their entire career as a DJ/producer.  Having played literally all over America, the Indiana-based producer is set to storm the international scene.  With two European tours under his belt already, including two performances at the widely touted Berghain in Berlin (Voted by ResidentAdvisor.net as the 1 club in the world), rounded off with a stop at the Dance Valley festival in Amsterdam this summer, Kyle is certainly prepared for the big things 2009 is already promising to bring.   Kyle's quick rise in the international dance scene is due to both his production prowess, and his explosive decks and effects DJ sets that bridge the divide between techno and minimal. Kyle is not a producer first, DJ second, but chooses to look at both aspects of DJ and production as a whole; one is not complete without the other.   Originally inspired by the harder, percussive stylings of late 90's Swedish techno featured on seminal labels like Drumcode and Code Red, Kyle has witnessed the evolution of the genre as it morphed into a slower, groove based sound. Still loving the energy and power of the earlier phases of techno while embracing the genre's changes, Kyle has refined his productions and DJ sets into what very well may be a new breed of techno that pushes things forward for the next generation of techno to come.    Initially urged on by long time friends and minimal techno veterans JPLS and Skoozbot, a demo made it to Drumcode label manager Adam Beyer who was on the hunt for what he describes as a "modern techno sound". Beyer immediately put Kyle's tracks to the test at the 2007 Winter Music Conference and invited him onboard as a Drumcode artist.  With two highly regarded releases on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label, remixes for Droid Recordings, Renovatio and MB Elektronics, and licensed tracks for the legendary Music Man and Harthouse labels' mix compilations, the future is proving to be a very promising place for Kyle Geiger as he continues to take his widely recognized DJ set around the world and to the next level.

No doubt this was a very risky move for such an established artist as DJ Umek. But it was the only way for him to stay on top of the game. And it seems he picked up the right decision at the crucial time: the response to his new vision of electronic dance music from his peers, critics, media and most importantly his fans is great and his productions are supported by some top dogs in the industry.Umek recent productions include highly acclaimed club releases such as Overtake & Command, Ricochet Effect, Another Matter Entirely and Faithful Nights, but it were MTV supported hit singles Posing as Me and Carbon Occasions that stirred the most media attention and crossed over to the daily radio stations. Umek’s releases were lately included on the premiere club compilations mixed by artists such as Sander Kleinenberg, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, John Digweed, M.I.K.E. or Carl Cox. He was amongst the headliners of esteemed summer music festivals such as Primavera, Monegros or Dance Valley and he conquered the South America on the joint tour with Valentino Kanzyani and Marko Nastić once more. M.U.M.-Miami Underground Movement brought to you by Rod B. and Alvaro Garfunk.Dj Misjah @Boutique Miami DownTown Friday-July 25thDj Misjah Bio:The name Misjah has been synonymous with quality dance floor productions for over 17 years. An innovator, an inspiration and living legend to many. It all began in 1991 with releases under one of his alias's "Dyewitness". “Observing the earth”, “What would you like to hear”, “The Future” and “The Masterplan” already put his name on the map of dance floor hits forever. They are still considered all time classics.

After these releases, Midtown Records asked Misjah to start his own label for them; X-Trax was born on December 1994. He started producing tracks with the help of some friends: DJ Tim and Jeroen (Groovehead) Artists such as Ferry Corsten, Umek, and Piet Bervoets (Rank1) also had releases on X-Trax Classics from this label include: Trippin' Out, The Club, Special Acid Edition, and of course “Access” which made it to the English charts in 1995.

Due to the huge success of X-Trax he was sought after by such artists like: Josh Wink, Jam and Spoon, Reflect, Format One, Finitribe, Denki Groove, etc to produce remixes for them.

Misjah has also produced under various artist/project names in different styles of dance music. In 1999 he started another project under the name “AMbassador”. It was under this name that he remixed “Blaze - My Beat”. His remix became a huge club hit and was used in the video clip. It even made it to the English charts.

In December 1999 he stopped doing the A&R for X-Trax. In 2001 he started a new label called ReRun and ReRun Booking's DJ Agency. The agency is responsible for booking some major players in the techno scene such as Hardcell, Trevor Rockcliffe, etc.

He has released on numerous labels including: Craft Music, Wetmusik, Pocket, Zync, Mankind, Jericho etc. Just to name a few. His records can be found in the record bags of such djs as: Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Carl Cox etc.Since his dj career took off in 1994, he has been traveling around the globe continuously to all continents. Playing at famous clubs and festivals including: Dance Valley, Roskilde, Mayday and Nature One, etcAs a DJ, Misjah has his own funky style. His sets contain bits and pieces of almost all styles of dance music from techno to house and from minimal to electro and everything in between. He uses his records as tools, in order to create different sounds and tracks and is known for his flawless mixing on 3 turntables, and 2 cd players.Special Thanks to Anatoli Russki & Marcelo dos Reis MySpace URL:    http://www.myspace.com/dirtygruv
