Bárbara Boeing is a stupendously good digger. She's been collecting records for many years and her far reaching sets offer but a mere glimpse into her musical sphere. From funk to soul, downtempo to balearic, bossa nova to house and beyond. Nothing is off limits for the Brazilian DJ who was raised in Curitiba and since moved to Milan bringing with her a renowned reputation for eclectic sets. This mix offers a brief taste of her skills as a DJ as she weaves effortlessly between chilled out tempos whilst demonstrating that ‘dance' music need not be heavy, hard or dark but fun, joyous and uplifting. That's before we even mention her work as a producer. This one has us dreaming of sunnier climates and brighter days. They're coming soon, believe us.

Brazilian DJ and producer Wehbba’s creative aspirations seem to grow day by day and following a series of globally impactful single and EP releases on the circuit’s leading label, Drumcode, he now unveils his long-awaited first album Straight Lines and Sharp Corners on the label. This expertly configured montage of instrumental offerings not only showcase Wehbba’s refined skill set in the studio but also proposes an immersive conceptual study that echoes a tenacious dedication to his craft. Representing some of his best and most conceptual work to date, this intellectual album is reflective of his life as 'the artist' and offers an immensely diverse array of genres, all of which have served as musical references to Wehbba across his decade-long career. This immersive conceptual project features Wehbba's own field recordings, which injects an organic quality often lacking in the techno landscape. We chatted about his process of creating the album, field recording and more. The first cocktail in 2019 is a pure classic. And, it is the national cocktail of Brazil. Since we don’t leave anything to chance we engaged an incredible Brazilian talent to mix a Caipirinha for Schirmchendrink. Gabriel Belmudes, a Brazilian DJ and producer, who is originally from São Paulo and currently based in Canada. He has been on the rise with his exquisite sounds over the last years and is spreading his art internationally at renowned venues and festivals. He’s in love with touching melodies and groovy tribal beats. You find these hypnotic „jungle vibes“ in all of his sets. Gabriel once said, that these tribal sounds remind him of where he’s coming from. And that you can almost always find people dancing, grooving, or jamming to samba or some kind of drumbeat in Brazil - whether it’s at home, on the streets, or in bars. Gabriel’s Caipirinha is full of this lively energy, full of good and catchy vibes. It only takes a few sips and you immediately want to shake off this energy with some moves on a dance floor. 2018 was the year of Gabriel’s first release on the mighty Sol Selectas label. „Canto de Seraia“ was part of the Summer Sol III sampler. And there might be new releases coming soon as Gabriel is taking some time off to focus on his productions this year. We are excited to see what 2019 brings for the sonic storyteller and world traveller. . . . Caio Bonneau, bartender from Brazil, mixed the beautiful Caipirinha on the artwork. It is Caio’s own version feat. a local species of lime and mandarin leaves. It won the first price at a cocktail contest in Brazil. Check him out on www.instagram.com/bonneaubartender for more delicious cocktails. . . . Cheers, The bartenders Link Up! The Brazilian DJ has been proving to have a varied taste for music and an equally diverse output. Leo’s music is created by distilling Minimal to its rawest and most core elements culminating in sounds that aim dance floors with its absorbing sense of mood and groove. In 2015, Leo became part of the resident team of the Clique Movement, heading towards a more elaborated-sounding Minimal/House direction. Clique is mainly known for their organic and detailed vibe, somewhere in-between Crunchy Minimal, Deep Techno and Experimental Music. Just like John Farnham. Tidget and Belvedere are back this week for another episode. Happily brought to you by #WhiskeyWednesday choice of beverage; Dubliner Irish Whiskey, It's the ageing in fine old Bourbon casks that gives Dubliner Irish Whiskey its special warmth and sweet honeyed finish! Usual catch up with whats been going on in our worlds with Belvedere wasting no time to break into song and even some Harry Potter impersonations. Heaps of news. Seriously... HEAPS. We were worried there wasn't going to be much news and we would just have to make shit up, but Papa KapKap has delivered again. Lots of updates to the PTR including heroes, maps, bugs, events, WoW tokens and Funkos! Including our favorite Brazilian DJ, Lucio, making his way to the Nexus in Heroes Of The Storm! With such a news heavy episode, we go straight into some eSports with updates and results from the recent OGN Apex Season 2 round robin matches in Korea. As we head to the end of our episode, Tidget and Belv have a quick little cry about whats been annoying them in the world of Overwatch and finish the episode with some sneaky surprise questions for eachother. Seriously they aren't rehearsed. You can't prepare for this shit! Trust us, we try every week! Note: Most of this episode is very unedited and may contain slightly more bad language that Tidget usually cuts out for our sexy listeners to avoid hate emails. We're back with the 2nd installment of the 2016 Holiday Edition more tribalicious treats to kick those holiday blues to the curb. Britney is back with her latest "Slumber Party" (think pillow fights and hair braiding but on an adult level) with Brazil's Felipe Angel doing the remix honors. He drops in again with his take on Sia's "The Greatest". Ricky Rebel teases with Boys & Sometimes Girls, while DJ VMC (another Brazilian DJ on the rise) re-energizes Shannon's early 80's dancefloor classic "Let the Music Play". Houston's Dirty Disco score two really huge winners with their mega-remix of the Jessica Folker classic "To Be Able to Love" by George Figares & DJ Blacklow featuring Brenda Reed which would make Jonathan Peters proud and really gets sleazy on Tyler Glenn's confessional single "Shameless". These two songs represent two factions of the gay community and couldn't possibly have anymore contrast in style and substance than say Kim Kardashian and Lena Dunham. Dirty Disco taps into the core of these floor-scorchers and delivers their productions like two heaping slabs of hedonistic lust on a gold platter. Barry Harris takes Dua Lipa's massive "Blow Your Mind" and pairs it with Twenty One Pilots "Heathens" creating a fun bouncy mashup bound to make your head spin. Perhaps the biggest surprise resurgence of the year goes to Air Supply. The early 80's guilty pleasure duo who supplied the Top 40 with one adult contemporary sappy love song after another jumps back into the spotlight. With re-recorded vocals, "All Out of Love" has new life breathed into it for the dancefloor and is currently (once again) riding high on the charts. Joe Gauthreaux & Leanh turn the drama-laden milker into a giant circuit tear-jerker. We finally close this set out with the re-affirming former number one, "Say Yes" by the amazingly talented Jason Walker. True to style, Moto Blanco captures the essences of the original allowing Jason's glorious vocals to soar above the production. Party Favorz is in the final stretch of 2016 as we work hard to deliver the Year's Best in Dance. We still got a lot heading your way so make sure you stay tuned and as always ...ENJOY! Updated version includes "Enough Is Enough (Offer Nissim Total Meltdown Mix)" by Donna Summer & Barbara Streisand. Pioneer "is one that first opens or discover paths through unknown regions." The career of DJ and producer Anderson Noise is a pioneer in electronic music from Brazil. Born in Belo Horizonte, Noise started slowly, as is the custom in his region, but never stopped to take some steps toward success. In 1988, during the explosion of Acid House, started DJing in his hometown. Passionate about the profession, he often said that the role of DJ is move people. Followed by producing their own events from 1992, making room in the state capital for the proliferation of the electronic scene, still embryonic in place. There were more than 40 parties produced, many in places like mental hospitals, shopping malls, car dealerships and historic buildings. The "Noise Family" became an institution, since in the event not only Anderson was involved. Mamma Noise, the mother of the DJ in person, was the hostess of the parties. Later Alvinho L Noise was excited with the turntables and boiled the dance floor next to his brother. His first CD compilation, "Paralisia Cerebral"was released in 1996, while the dream of producing his own music became reality in the talented hands of Noise. In 1997 he was invited to include "Shantytown" in the "Electronic Music Brazil" the first CD of 100% national of the genre, released by Sony-Mercado Mundo Mix. Without fear of expanding his horizons, Noise promoted the first trio elétrico "Truck with a mobile sound system" with electronic music in 1999 in Carnabelô Carnival out of season Mineiro, and became mandatory attendance in subsequent years. Without knowing it, acquiring the experience to face an even greater challenge playing on electric trio of singer Daniela Mercury, during Carnival in Salvador in 2002.
