Actor John Schneider is best known for his role as Bo Duke on iconic 1980's TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard," but his talents go much deeper than playing a good ol' boy, and the resumè shows it. Originally from Mt. Kisco, NY, he's a singer who's recorded some 20 albums. He played Superman's father on the show "Smallville" and starred on Broadway. He's currently (through February 2nd) in the longest running show on the Great White Way, "The Perfect Crime," but his personal life took a tragic and traumatic turn a couple of years ago with the cancer death of his wife Alicia Allain. It was a time where he truly learned, 'God has a plan'. On this episode of Lighthouse Faith, Schneider and his new wife Dee Dee Benkie, talk about how their life together now can only be Divine will. Benkie, a former Fox News contributor, had also suffered the trauma of the death of her husband, actor Paul Sorvino. Together they have a powerful testimony about faith, family... and trusting in God. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Enter a movie about some good ol' boys, never meaning no harm…until they thought it was a good idea to take a beloved television show, run a script through a moonshine still, and watch as this movie goes south faster than the General Lee. Long-time friends Don Griffin, Jr. and Amy Makice, LCSW, enter into a transparent and ongoing conversation about complicated and difficult topics such as racism, gender, and social justice. Through the authentic lens of their strong mutual relationship, their goal is to model difficult conversations that can promote understanding and connection in a world that needs both. In this relationship, Amy is the inherently racist friend, who is working to change and better understand how racism impacts her relationship with people she loves. Donald Griffin Jr. is a Bloomington native, former Deputy Mayor for Bloomington, and a real estate broker, proudly serving his community for the past three decades. Since opening Griffin Realty in 2003, Don's dedication to excellence has helped to guide his company to be among the top producers in Indiana with nearly a half billion in individual lifetime sales. Amy Makice, founder of Bloomington Center for Connection, is a licensed psychotherapist based in Bloomington, Indiana. Her professional journey is rooted in her passion for Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), and her commitment to RCT extends into community building initiatives to promote the power of connection. Amy helps to bring the Relational Summits to Bloomington, featuring distinguished guests like Maureen Walker, Amy Banks, and Isaac Knapper. Buy "Your Racist Friend" by They Might Be Giants on iTunes

Listener Beware: You are about to enter the mind of a co-host of this show. Some know him as the enigmatic, flame-throwing, jack of all trades: Robert Harrison. You like fast cars, Slackers?Perhaps a 1976 Ford Gran Torino? What about a 1977 Pontiac Firebird? Maybe even a 1969 Dodge Charger - or would you prefer something more practical, like a 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire? Whatever your preference, the cars (and trucks) of Hollywood in 1970s & 80s were all pretty badass.Starsky & Hutch. The Dukes of Hazzard. Smokey & the Bandit. Even National Lampoon's Vacation - all had what have become iconic vehicles. Now, I am not much of an under the hood guy - definitely not my strong suit - but I know what I like and some of these vehicles almost seem like core memories. Although I can't recall the exact date & time, the moment I saw the Manta Coyote from Hardcastle & McCormick, I was stoked. I even watched that mediocre show just to see that car! What are some of your favorite cars from childhood? And did your family have any cool rides of their own? And do you have a dream car that you own or hope to in the future?
The Idiots run for their lives from drunken kids and McDonald's employees. Ted saves a relationship then ruins a life.

You may remember John Schneider from the TV show the Dukes of Hazzard. Now, he may be remembered for what appears to be his threatening words on the Internet. His social media post is now deleted, but here's what it said: “Mr President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung,” Schneider wrote to Biden. “Your son too.” We'll talk about that and the emergence of yet another election interfering phone call by Trump in 2020. This one was made to people tasked with certifying the vote in Michigan. Elex Michaelson, host of “The Issue Is” will join the conversation. Friday brings us a gator in this edition of Friday Fabulous Florida. Add in Albert and John Daly and it's a fun Friday morning. The Culture Blaster Michael Snyder is checking this week's offerings at the box office. He'll also offer love to the 49ers.
Willie Nelson opens up about cheating on one ex-wife, getting stabbed by another and surviving suicide attempts in the new docuseries “Willie Nelson & Family.” A Democrat in New York has introduced a bill that, if passed, would force Christian-owned restaurant chain Chick-fil-A to open on Sundays, or remove numerous restaurants from a major highway system in the state. The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider is under investigation from the Secret Service after statements he made online Thursday against President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. Prized free-agent pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a $325 million, 12-year contract, according to multiple reports.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

TOM WOPAT was so much more than the famous actor in DUKES OF HAZZARD, he is also a world class musician and songwriter. One of the most recognizable faces on television, actor-singer continues to enjoy a major career on stage, screen and in the recording studio. His most recent opus is the gritty, psychedelic patriot drama TO DIE FOR, where he portrays Quint North, a disabled veteran on a mission to protect the American flag from unsavory elements that would like to see it disrespected. Enemies of the flag include the local high school's star quarterback, who has drawn media attention by taking a knee while the national anthem plays at his games. Quint also contends with his neighbor, a Native American man who doesn't see the symbol of the flag with the same degree of pride as Quint, igniting racial tension between the two men. But the most crushing blow to Quint's daily life comes when his own daughter files a restraining order against him to prevent him from driving too close to the local school while displaying an American flag, because today's politically correct standards render the flag an offensive symbol. John Schneider uses a bizarre combination of on-location filming mixed with green screen effects, frequently on very different perspectives of size and scale, which create a disorienting visual environment that perfectly complements his character Quint's descent into madness as he is pushed to the limit for the simple crime of being a proud American. Quint's genuinely troubling depiction of alcohol use, and his untreated PTSD go completely unremarked on throughout the film. Could these medical issues explain why Quint's relationships are so unsuccessful? This 4th of July, the fireworks aren't just a boisterous celebration of American strength — they're also a cry for help. The Dukes of Hazzard in a very entertaining show that is unfortunately buried underneath multiple layers of Daughters of the Confederacy obfuscation and Hollywood writing room ignorance. Good looking guys and gals tear-assing around the countryside in a classic American muscle car clowning on corrupt law enforcement all while fighting for justice and the underprivileged. What's not to like? Wait, they're calling that car the General what now? And what's that on its roof? Oh. Ah. Okay. Hear us out. We have a plan to save the Duke boys from themselves! Hey there! Experience actor John Schneider like you have never heard him before! John, is best known for his portrayal as Bo Duke on the wildly successful “The Dukes of Hazzard” TV series. However, today John and his wife Alicia are producing their own films, with “TO DIE FOR” ( ToDieForMovie.com ) being their latest. John doesn't hold back on his love for God and country in this episode or in his film. To Die For” is based on a true story where Schneider plays veteran Quint North of New Mexico, who was arrested and jailed after violating a restraining order that forbade him from driving within 300 yards of a local high school with the American flag affixed to his truck. After you see this film, you'll love America or hate it. There is no gray area. Lastly, Schneider explains how “Hollywood is a line item on the spreadsheet of globalist billionaires” and why it's important for patriots to create a parallel economy.
