Break 1: Kia MOG (07.14.22 KIA MOG) STORY 1: Man shot, killed at event venue in Buford Gwinnett County police are investigating a fatal shooting at the Love to Dream wedding venue in Buford early Saturday morning. Officers responded to a call at 2:09 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound. Despite attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity is being withheld until next of kin are notified, and no suspects have been identified. Police urge anyone with information to contact detectives or Crime Stoppers, where anonymous tips may lead to a cash reward. STORY 2: Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church Hosting Easter Festival On March 29 Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church is hosting its annual Easter Festival on Saturday, March 29, from 1-4 p.m. at Lawrenceville Elementary School's playground. This free community event features activities like a petting zoo, Easter egg hunts, photos with the Easter Bunny, inflatables, face painting, and more. We’ll be right back Break 2: MONSTER JAM 2025_FINAL STORY 4: Gwinnett man gets three life sentences for molesting 10-year-old girl Isaiah Esquilin-Perez, 22, was sentenced to three consecutive life terms for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in Gwinnett County. Convicted on seven counts, including aggravated child molestation and incest, his crimes were discovered in April 2023 when the victim's parents found incriminating video footage. After fleeing, Esquilin-Perez evaded police for 18 hours before surrendering. He must also register as a sex offender. Gwinnett DA Patsy Austin-Gatson expressed hope for the victim's healing, calling the sentence justice for the family. STORY 5: Gwinnett legislators drop plan to cut school board member pay for firing superintendents early Legislation aimed at cutting Gwinnett County school board members' salaries for early superintendent firings has been revised, removing the controversial pay reduction provision. House Bill 767 initially sought to penalize board members financially after costly buyouts for fired superintendents Calvin Watts and J. Alvin Wilbanks. The revised bill now focuses on allowing all board members, not just the chairperson, to speak to the media. Discussions about limiting "lame duck" board actions or superintendent contract extensions were deferred. The board is currently searching for a permanent superintendent, with interim Al Taylor stepping in on April 2. Speaker: Rev. Tom Zehnder Scripture Focus: Isaiah 65:17–25, 1 Corinthians 15:19–26, & Luke 24:1–12 Service Summary: “He is risen!” shouts our true hope. “He is risen indeed!” reverberates our confident belief. The high point of our Christian life is celebrated this morning as we gather with all of God's children to rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. As today's Gospel from Luke 24 will show us, confusion and fear give way to confident faith when the women who went to the tomb realize Jesus is alive and then share this good news with the other disciples. Through those disciples, this message has reached us also! Just as God had promised through His prophets of old, the Lord Himself will restore creation and bring harmony to all life—beginning with Jesus' resurrection and continuing until the Last Day, when Jesus returns in glory, destroys death itself, and raises us up to new lives in His eternal kingdom. This victorious Savior is with us now—at the font, in His Word, at His Table—working to bring His new life into our lives as we trust in Him.

The time of the full moon is a period when spiritual energies are uniquely available, facilitating a closer rapport between humanity and the Hierarchy. Energies of light and love and the will-to-good are always available to those who can contact them in meditation. But in all aspects of our planetary life there are cycles in the ebb and flow of spiritual energies with which groups, as well as individuals, can consciously cooperate. One of the major energy cycles coincides with the phases of the moon, reaching its peak, its high tide, at the time of the full moon. This is a time, therefore, when the invocation and radiation of energy through group meditation can be uniquely effective. The physical meeting will be held on Monday April 10th, at 6:30 PM EDT in New York City. We encourage you to join us in person or during our Live Broadcast.  More information about this Festival can be found at:  Aries • Lucis Trust More information about Meditation at the Full Moon and Lucis Trust

You will find that the spiritual year is divided into two periods (symbolic of spirit and matter); the period in which the Sun moves northward and the period when it travels on the southern way. You will find that the month divides itself into two periods likewise, that of the waxing and the waning moon and you will find the future emphasis laid throughout the world upon the Easter Festival, the Festival of the Risen Christ; upon the Wesak Festival, the Festival of the Buddha or of Illumination; and the June Full Moon, the Festival of Unification carried forward by the Christ, the Master of all the Masters and the Teacher alike of angels and of men.
