On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with SlowMo of UA The Duo! Originally from Southern California, the Utah-based UA The Duo is a hip hop tandem of brothers Wally and SlowMo. Together since 2014, UA The Duo have lived up to the ambition in their name (UA is short for "Underground Ambitionz") with their collaborations and releases over the years. Those musical collaborations have included Demrick, XXL Freshman Jarren Benton, and Crunchy Black of Three 6 Mafia, among others. Outside of their musical ventures, UA The Duo also does podcasting with their own Utah-based studio - Lab Junkies Studios - where they record podcasts and rent out the space for others to record, as well. In March, SlowMo dropped his solo album entitled Growing Pains. On this episode of the podcast, SlowMo talks to Mike about the process of making Growing Pains, including the themes of self doubt, perseverance, and chasing dreams on the record, teaming up again with Demrick, and more. This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features UA The Duo's single "In Due Time" with Demrick, available where you get your music! Follow UA The Duo on Instagram @uatheduo_. September 23, 2023 Daily Devotion: "In Due Time" Galatians 6:9-10 New International Version 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. There are at least two kinds of waiting. We wait passively at times, but we also wait actively. We typically continue our work as we wait for these times of leisure and refreshment. At times, it may seem passive, like standing in line. But generally, our waiting for God is the kind of waiting a gardener does. He plants seeds and keeps working as he waits for the harvest. Paul encourages the Galatians to do this—to keep working as they wait. “The harvest is coming,” he says, “so don't allow weariness to discourage you from what you do.” And the heart of this work, Paul says, is to live out the gospel's promises where we are. “While we have opportunity,” Paul continues, “let's do good to all people”. Doing good comes naturally when we believe the gospel's promises about the future. As we wait for the Lord's return, let's look for opportunities to be a blessing to others. And we can trust God will be faithful to bring a harvest “in due time” --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gerzon-etino/message

After the “12 for 12” era in Boston Rap, there was an influx of rappers from the scene who came and went. There are others, however, who seemed to gain a solid following while creating at a high level over and over again. Amongst those names we have the laid back flow and sometimes melodic Kam'Geez. The Dorchester born, Chelsea raised “High-End Hustler” has earned the respect of many fellow creatives and while he hasn't always been the most consistent, he's always been able to keep his core following engaged with his loose singles and EP drops. Just like Charlie MaSheen described the “In Due Time” creator, Kam'Geez has been considered an unsung hero in the eyes of many supporters of our music scene. Over the years he's worked with Boston names like Rosewood Bape, Pretty G G Pretty, Vanni Allan Poe, and a frequent collaborator FB fba Nyce Franklin. In 2020 you might have heard Kam's carefully crafted flow on the Sylus Gambino record “Kill or Be Killed” with 8Zipp, also featuring Vanni Allan Poe. With a lot of eyes on the city right now because of some of our bigger named artists, it would be the perfect time to shift into gear and give the people some new work and set himself apart; which is exactly why Kam'Geez chose to come and talk to Charlie MaSheen & KASH on this weeks podcast. Join the guys as they talk about Kam's creative process, how he plans to set himself apart, and the rollout of his latest project “Charge It to The Game”. We also ”rapped” it up with a dope #RedCupsAndRap freestyle on a classic beat that we actually used for last years cypher! TAP IN‼️ BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR Kam'Geez's UPCOMING RELEASE “Charge It To The Game” that will be available on all DSPs‼️ CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT: http://www.linktr.ee/CWTFBradio

0:25 We've been working like busy (chipper) beavers on 33xpl's NEW FAN ACADEMY, so head over to our website and leave your e-mail to be notified when it goes live in April! *squeeee* 1:15 Dubai World Cup Results. Hot Rod Charlie Places—of course! Country Grammer, a Baffert horse, wins over serious Japanese entrants Life is Good and Chuwa Wizard, but more on his current sitch later in the episode. 3:50 Fair Grounds Meet is ending with the 100-pt Kentucky Derby prep race, Race 12, the Louisiana Derby (G2, $1M purse) and Race 11, the Fair Grounds Oaks for the girls (G2, $400k purse). 4:21 For the Oaks, we both LOVE Echo Zulu, but Trixie likes TurnerLoose to Place and Weej is picking Favor. Someone's gotta come in second after all! 6:22 For the Louisiana Derby, we LOVE Epicenter, maybe Call Me Midnight to Zacta-macta, and then Trixie likes Zozos as an added option and Weej is with Rattle N Roll on final probation. Paco Lopez's suspension for clipping, creating disaster for Galt and High Oak while he was aboard In Due Time in the Fountain of Youth Stakes. https://paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/careless-riding-jockey-paco-lopez-suspended-14-days-for-fountain-of-youth-ride/ 9:15 Going To Vegas, which Weej part owns through My Racehorse, is in a 1/4 mile turf Race 7 today at Santa Anita on the turf. We ADORE her! 10:27 Woodbine Mohawk, currently running harness races, has a late-night MANDATORY PAYOUT for Race 11 SuperHi5 (pick the finishing order for the first 5 horses). The minimum bet is 20 cents, the take-out is a bettor-friendly 15%, and a big carryover means the pool is already over half a million Canadian dollars, so over $400k USD and it will grow! The race goes off at 11:10 pm EDT if you want a cheap chance at a nice pool. Trixie IS the Lazy Handicapper, always preferring to do one race over multi-race plays. 13:32 Scandal of the WEEK: Trainer Bob Baffert's potential Derby 3 year-olds are finally moving! Well, 4 of them, including the magnificent Messier. https://paulickreport.com/news/triple-crown/baffert-transfers-four-kentucky-derby-contenders-to-other-trainers/ Nice finally to see actual consequences after the awful tragedy of Medina Spirit. We also muse: Is Corniche injured? Is Newgrange not considered a contender? The required removal of Baffert's signage at the Santa Anita stables had to hurt—we're okay with it

As Daylight Dies, «The Arms of Sorrow».

DAILY YOKE Jen Noonan married her husband in 2008 after meeting through mutual friends. When they first began the process to start their family things didn't go as planned. Eventually, they sought help from a fertility clinic and was diagnosed with unexplained infertility. After a year of trying to conceive, taking hormone shots, dealing with miscarriage and treatments they finally were able to have a son in 2010. When Jen and her husband wanted to grow their family for a second child, they spent months again trying to get pregnant for nothing to happen. They faced what is often known as secondary infertility. It was a silent struggle due to the stigma attached to secondary infertility and miscarriage. It took five years to give birth to her second son who became their rainbow baby. For a copy of Jen's book "In Due Time" visit website induetimebook.com. October is pregnancy and infancy loss awareness month. Caroline’s faith has led her through her own fertility journey and she now inspires thousands of others with her approach You are going to love meeting Caroline in this episode! Caroline is an infertility blogger who’s faith has supported her through her own 6-year battle with infertility and has led her to now inspire and support thousands of other women worldwide. Caroline’s fertility story started not long after her wedding when tests revealed she had a pituitary tumour and her husband azoospermia (no sperm). They were told it was impossible for them to have children naturally. She lent on God for guidance and he told her to write a blog. Several years later and this blog (In Due Time) has led her to now lead a huge wave of faith-based infertility support on her blog, social media channels and through ‘Moms in the Making’. This started as a support group in her home (which continues) but has now developed into 15 groups across North America, a new virtual group and an annual conference with people attending from all over the world. In this episode, we talk through Caroline’s personal fertility journey and also ask the tough questions about faith and fertility. She opens up about the hard days when she doesn’t always understand God’s path for her, but how her journey has actually deepened her faith and relationship with God. “I believe you can choose to run away from the Lord or run to him.” We talk about how even if you’re not religious, that infertility challenges you and becomes a spiritual journey. That the lack of answers drives you to question life’s fundamentals and your faith in life and love. She suggests that the fertility journey “can be good if we choose that” and offers her advice on how you can achieve this. She talks about not putting your life on hold, self-care and how important support and meeting other women TTC has been for her and how you can get involved. In this episode: Faith and Fertility - how to keep the faith and how your faith can support you How starting her blog has transformed her life Caroline’s personal fertility journey How even if you’re not religious yourself, you can find faith to sustain you on your journey Caroline’s advice to others The incredible role a support group can play for you You may also like: EP17 – Finding direction on your fertility journey (Free meditation) Top relationship tip during infertility (Free download) How gratitude can transform how you feel during your fertility journey Links mentioned in the podcast: Caroline’s Blog - ‘In Due Time’ Moms in the Making - A faith-based support group. Caroline, writer of the In Due Time devotional and leader of the Moms in the Making infertility groups, has faced a tremendous number of challenges over the last decade. She was diagnosed with disembarkment syndrome, a vertigo-like neurological condition, lost her two-year-old nephew to a pediatric brain cancer, and has faced unexpected infertility. In all of the grief and lost expecatations, Caroline is remarkably positive. She says that infirtility is, "grieving the idea of what you thought your life would look like," which is hard and messy and painful, but even in the middle of the pain, she chooses to believe that God is still good. Caroline sees grace in God's presence and her experiencing peace, joy, and freedom even while life is hard. She chooses to be brave by being vulnerable, open, and honest with her story and her struggles. Caroline encourages others who are waiting or are discouraged to remember that God is good and that challenging times in life can help refine and develop our character.
