It was written by , and was directed by . The episode was released on , , and on 3 May 2025. It features the return of companion (), who plays a leading role in the episode opposite Conrad Clark (), with both the () and (), the series' main leads, only appearing briefly. The episode focuses on Ruby, who begins a relationship with Conrad as she attempts to find her place in the world after leaving the Doctor. When it is revealed that Conrad wants to "expose" for their goals being "fake", Ruby and have to deal with the repercussions of Conrad's actions. The episode was devised by showrunner , with Davies enlisting McTighe to write the episode. He used the episode to explore Ruby and Kate's characters while also exploring the "the spread of online hatred" and its effects. The episode's monster, the Shreek, was based off of McTighe's childhood fears of dog-like creatures in the dark, with the creature being portrayed via costume and an animatronic head. Filming took place in November 2023 and it was with the . The episode received positive reviews from critics, who highlighted Gibson's performance, the twist regarding Conrad's true identity, and the episode's social commentary, but were more critical of underdeveloped plotlines in the episode, as well as the execution of Conrad as an antagonist. Plot [] and arrive on New Year's Day, 2007, and meet eight-year-old Conrad. Following this, Conrad investigates sightings of the Doctor and the , seeing a younger Doctor with his then-companion in 2024, where he is marked as prey by a creature called the Shreek. In 2025, after stopping travelling with the Doctor, Ruby gives Conrad about her encounters with extraterrestrial life an interview on his podcast. They start dating and she gives him an antidote to act against him being marked by the Shreek, which has been recently captured by . At a weekend away at Conrad's home village, Ruby fears she is in danger and tells Conrad she is suffering from following her experiences with the Doctor. Two Shreek appear in pursuit of Conrad, who admits he did not take the antidote. Ruby calls UNIT and their leader to the village. The Shreek are revealed to be fake, part of a setup orchestrated by Conrad, whose relationship with Ruby was a ploy, against UNIT. A scandal breaks and Conrad and his followers continue to perpetuate disinformation about the non-existence of aliens, discrediting UNIT. After Conrad publishes details of UNIT employees, Kate realises he has an insider in UNIT. The insider sneaks Conrad into the building. Alerted to his presence, Kate allows Conrad to reach the command floor, where he livestreams his intrusion. In order to expose Conrad's lies Kate releases the Shreek, which hunts Conrad. With the Shreek attacking him, Conrad admits on his livestream he has been lying about UNIT. Ruby stuns the Shreek, although it manages to injure Conrad's arm. Public sentiment turns in UNIT's favour, though Colonel Ibrahim tells Kate that she went too far by releasing the Shreek. Ruby decides to get away to overcome her trauma, and Kate offers her support when she is ready to talk. Conrad is imprisoned and the Doctor berates him for harming Ruby and his friends. Conrad asks the Doctor if he has yet met Belinda, who the Doctor has not, since that's his future. The Doctor tells Conrad that he will die in prison and be forgotten by history. However, after the Doctor leaves Conrad, Mrs Flood releases him. Production [] Development [] Showrunner wished to include an episode discussing the spread of "toxic, online hatred", and contacted writer to write the script. McTighe had previously written episodes under former showrunner . When writing the episode, he said that he wanted to take the opportunity to explore what happens to a after they leave , feeling that it had infrequently been done in the past. McTighe described the episode as a mix between , , and . He also compared one of the main settings to Devil's End from the 1971 serial and the fact that it was a Ruby-centric story to the 2024 episode "". Ruby was referred to as having following her time with the Doctor, which Davies wanted to portray in the episode. The episode also allowed McTighe to explore Kate's character further, with her willingness to go too far being something that McTighe stated would have further repercussions "beyond this episode, beyond this season, even beyond this show." McTighe developed the Shreek off the idea of a "four-legged, creeping animal", leaning into his childhood fears about dog-like creatures in the dark. He made its motivations simple, with a desire to hunt, to make a monster that could not be reasoned with and terrifying. Prior to this, the Shreek were first mentioned in Caged, a 2024 Doctor Who novel by . McTighe also included a number of to past episodes and . "Lucky Day" is a "Doctor-lite" episode, which Davies stated required them to find "inventive ways" to include the Doctor, one of which is a to a story set in the . The remainder of the guest cast includes , , , , Alexander Devrient, and , as well as in a voice role. Filming and production design [] The primary Shreek costume was constructed using molds and , with the final molds eventually being injected with and painted. The Shreek uses an animatronic head. The Shreek costumes used in the episode by Conrad's friends were designed as derivative versions of the primary Shreek costume. The design team at Millenium FX had a designer look at the primary Shreek costume once and then construct the derivative version from memory to reflect the costumes' in-universe construction. The team had to make the costumes look convincing while also looking like "rubber costumes", which proved a challenge. The Shreek performers are unable to see inside the mask, requiring outside direction for the actors to know where they need to go. The inclusion of in the scene where Conrad explores the abandoned department store featuring the Shreek was a result of McTighe wanting to include a callback to the first episode of Doctor Who's revived era, "" (2005), which featured living mannequins called . Pame Downe designed Ruby's outfits with dark blue and green colors, which Gibson felt were "more mature colors". One of her outfits included a pinstripe suit and pants that Gibson said was reminiscent of one of 's previous outfits in the series. Filming occurred in the Welsh village of (pictured). Daniel Cooper, writing for , similarly highlighted the twist about Conrad's identity, McTighe's writing, and the episode's social commentary, but felt Conrad's backstory utilizing "the trope that survivors of abuse perpetuate that cycle of abuse" was overused. Adi Tantimedh, writing for , praised the episode, highlighting the twist involving Conrad and the episode's social commentary. Stefan Mohammed, writing for , found several of the episode's plot points underdeveloped, stating that Ruby's character arc was undermined by her strong home life and that Conrad embodying all aspects of the social issues being discussed made him feel overcomplicated with unclear motivations. Despite this, he found Gibson's performance compelling, and highlighted the episode's usage of Kate. Vicky Jessop, writing for the , positively highlighted the episode, though felt Conrad's execution as an antagonist was weak, and that the consequences of his actions were not explored well enough. Isobel Lewis, writing for , stated the episode had consistency issues not present in the rest of the series; she also found it to retread similar ground to previous series episode "", to which she negatively compared "Lucky Day". The titan of the sea, the great unsinkable ship that sank – over a century later, the mystery of the Titanic is still being studied to this day. Only a third of the ship's passengers survived, while over 1,500 lost their lives. But out of all those casualties, only 340 bodies were recovered. So, the question remains: what happened to the remaining 1,160? Other videos you might like: Scientists Have Found The Titanic Will Disappear Soon • Scientists Have Found The Titanic Wil... There were only 20, and they needed 60 to be able to carry everybody on board to safety. Perhaps those poor souls could've been rescued from the bone-chilling waters a lot sooner if the closest ships passing by the Titanic's crash site had seen the flairs and other distress signals being sent. The ship was also moving much faster than the speed it was built for. The reason for this was that the ship's owner, White Star Line, didn't want to fall behind schedule. Only hours after the Titanic sank, a massive storm came over the ocean. The currents and winds would've swept many bodies up to 50 miles away from the crash site. Of course, there were those victims that went down with the ship, and they had no chance of being retrieved. As for the bodies that were recovered, some were given a proper burial at sea if there wasn't room for them on the rescue ship. The brave and selfless woman earned herself the nickname “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” and after the ship went down, she tried her best to get as many passengers as she could into the lifeboats. There was also author, journalist, and teacher, Lawrence Beesley. He later wrote a book that brought him a lot of success called The Loss of the SS Titanic. Another survivor was Violet Constance Jessop, who was a stewardess on the ship. Jessop hadn't planned to work on the Titanic until her friends convinced her to apply for the job. Dorothy Gibson, a beautiful American singer, model, and silent film actress was also a survivor of the Titanic. Gibson was one of the richer and more famous aboard the ship. Renegade Supply Store: https://renegade-supply-shop.printify.me/products One of the things I really love about Mormonism is that because it has its own culture it has its own stories and traditions. Now it's up to us to parse out those stories and traditions and then decide if they are doctrine or just ideas. Today on the podcast we are going to cover a topic that will require us to do just that. Back in the early days of the Restoration there was an idea that in the last days a Lamanite prophet would arise and set certain things within Mormonism in what came to be known as the Prophecy of the Lamanite Prophet. Moroni Lopez Jessop joins me fresh off his Sunstone talk about this very subject to take a look at this story and teaching. We cover where this idea started, how it was understood by early Mormons, how it fell out of favor with the LDS Church, how it was kept alive by Mormon Fundamentalists, and what its relevance is today given the gift of hindsight. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dave-kirkenbower/support

If this happens you should ask yourself, “Why is this person coming into my life at this time?” “What does this mean?” What if you think of something and you see an ad for it? We are all connected. Is there a cosmic connection that passes thoughts or feelings to each other? The dictionary defines Coincidences as, “the occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection” But is there a such thing as Coincidences? Some paranormal researchers don't believe there is. It is difficult to find a natural explanation too why a surprising coincidence occurs. In attempting to find one, we might be inclined to accept a paranormal explanation Most researchers believe that circumstances are predetermined and will happen regardless of our input. There is also a belief that a higher power is controlling the outcome and will make things seem to match up in history. Different circumstances can be attributed to your guardian angels. Is it a circumstance that you decided last minute to take a different route to work only to find out that there was an accident at a corner you would have gone through if you hadn't gone the other way? Where she survived. The Titan and The Titanic. In 1898 Morgan Robertson wrote the novel The Wreck of The Titan. The plot revolves around the HMS Titan a British luxury liner that hit an iceberg and sank killing almost everyone on board. In 1912 the Titanic sank in the exact same fashion. I was surprised to there are a lot of racial myths among Fundamentalist groups to support a priesthood/temple ban. I was also surprised to learn that one of the first Mormon Allreds married a woman with so-called "black blood." How does the Allred Group (aka AUB) deal with this? It turns out, not well! Moroni Jessop shares this interesting genealogy in the conclusion to our conversation and also shares racial myths about the ban. Many Fundamentalist Mormons think polynesians carry black blood. This led Moroni Jessop to find out more. Moroni did a DNA test on his children and discovered they had black ancestry. His research also led him to learn Joseph Smith sent missionaries to the Hawaiian Islands and put Moroni in conflict with his local Thompsonite leaders and another excommunication. How did Moroni handle this new information? A big, little-discussed problem in polygamist communities is Mormon racism. Moroni Jessop was surprised to encounter this among independent Mormon fundamentalists in the Salt Lake City area. He shares his experiences, and we also discuss a little-known Mexican history of the Third Convention in which a large body of Mexican saints broke away from the LDS Church. It turns out that racism is a reason many fundamentalists reject LDS Temple ceremonies now. The Work in Sports Podcast - Insider Advice for Sports Careers
While ‘Deflategate' put the Patriots' equipment staff under a microscope the profession tends to avoid, this overlooked aspect of football is of utmost importance to teams. An NFL team's equipment staff has numerous responsibilities, such as inflating footballs (properly), repairing and ordering equipment for the full roster, storing and cleaning jerseys, and packing/setting up gear on road trips. Along with a roster of 53 players and the coaching and support staff, equipment managers also need a ‘customer service' mentality to satisfy the needs of many people within their organization. On today's episode of the WorkInSports Podcast, VP of Content Brian Clapp chats with the Los Angeles Chargers' Chad Jessop. Jessop is the Chargers' Equipment Assistant and has spent 14 years handling football teams' equipment and locker room needs. He and Clapp discuss:How to become an equipment managerJessop's rise from the high school ranks to a training camp gig with the Dallas CowboysThe biggest challenges of working in his fieldHow important building relationships is in an NFL locker room environment

Jessop talks about being “proud of overcoming porn but lost with his sexuality” during his high school years. Jessop talks about how his “gay panic” led him to be a people pleaser, then later an overachiever, thinking he “couldn't be rejected if I'm good at everything.” Jessop talks about his mission to Chile (great experience) and the spiritual foundation it gave him. Jessop talks about starting at Utah State and realizing he still had same-sex attraction and bravely opening up to his YSA Bishop (great experience). He talks about how this Bishop “loved me when I couldn't love myself”. Jessop talks about dating women (short-lived relationships) and being faced with the reality of being gay and LDS. He talks about coming out to family and friends and the positive support he is receiving. Jessop talks about spiritual/positive experiences coming out, including a time when he was prompted to come out at a fireside. Jessop talks about why he started to date men, went back to date women, and then concluded that his path is going to be date men with the hopes of finding a husband with the same values/spiritual framework as him. Jessop talks about moving to Duke and coming out as gay in his YSA Ward during testimony meeting (he is now in the EQ Presidency) and the support he is receiving and his gratitude for the chance to serve. Jessop also talks about the reality of his road—knowing he will not be able to fully participate in the Church but wanting to stay connected with the Church and have a strong relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He talks about the people God placed in his life, and having an eternal perspective. He also encourages people to take time to listen to the perspectives of the people around them. Thank you, Jessop, for sharing your story. You are so brave. You have such a mature and solid foundation to chart the rest of your life. Thank you for being on the podcast. Your story helps others.

In a distressing turn of events, three children from former FLDS member Lorraine Jessop's family disappeared under suspicious circumstances on February 4, 2023. Despite theories of the children running away, Jessop and other mothers from the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with similar experiences, suspect a more troubling scenario. They fear that someone from the church, or following its instructions, may have abducted their children. The mothers, experts, and FLDS scholars are particularly alarmed by the imprisoned prophet Warren Jeffs' recent prophecies, which include a call for children of ex-members to return to the church and predictions of a mass demise like the Jonestown tragedy. Imagine surviving not one, not two, but three shipwrecks. That's what Argentinian-Irish ocean liner stewardess and nurse, Violet Jessop, managed to do in the early 20th century. Jessop was one tough lady who had some serious luck on her side. She survived the sinking of the British warship HMS Hawke in 1911, the ill-fated RMS Titanic in 1912, and even the sister ship of the Titanic, HMHS Britannic, in 1916. It's hard to fathom the fear and uncertainty she must have felt during those experiences, but her resilience and quick thinking are definitely something to be admired. The story of Violet Jessop's incredible survival has captured the imaginations of many, and it's inspiring to think of what we can achieve in the face of adversity. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kaycee-mcintosh/support
