In this episode, Steve Watt and Amber Mellano are joined by Nicole Ward, Senior Director of Revenue Enablement at OneSource Virtual (OSV), to learn why she joined the organization as their first enablement hire and how she and the team found so much success.Nicole is an industry expert and thought leader who joined OSV after a decade of managing an award-winning team of enablement innovators at Citrix. Today, you'll hear all about her remarkable achievements with OSV. Her highlights include a substantial reduction in new hire ramp time and time-to-first-opportunity, along with impressive improvements in deal sizes and win rates that she attributes to her strategic approach and collaboration with various business functions.Throughout the interview, Nicole emphasizes the importance of obtaining executive buy-in and stakeholder alignment early in the process to ensure success. She advocates for focusing on a few key pillars and avoiding the temptation to "boil the ocean” when first starting. Nicole's emphasis on leveraging data, maintaining ongoing communication, and building cross-functional relationships demonstrates how critical these elements are for effective enablement. By sharing her experience and practical advice, Nicole provides a clear roadmap for building a robust enablement function that can adapt and thrive amid organizational change.—Guest BioNicole Ward is a passionate and technology-forward global revenue enablement leader with over 14 years in the field. Fun fact: Prior to starting her family, Nicole was one of Canada's early lifestyle "influencers" and launched Canada's first conference targeted to style influencers in 2013.—Guest Quote“In enablement, we are bridge builders, and we are serial collaborators. It's all about connecting with people across the organization to understand what they do, how can I learn from them, what can they learn from me, how can I support them, what are their goals, can I attach myself to their goals, especially if they were key stakeholders in enablement. Nicole Ward is the driving force behind the Make Them Know Your Name Foundation (MTKYN). The foundation was established by Denzel Ward, cornerback for the Cleveland Browns, in memory of his father, Paul G. Ward Jr., who passed away in 2016 due to cardiac arrest at the age of 46. MTKYN's mission is to address the heart disease epidemic by providing CPR training, AED equipment and resources, and community education to promote heart-healthy lifestyles. Nicole Ward has been a Special education teacher for 17 years with special interest in neurodivergent students. SpEd consultant for families trying to navigate the IEP game for their children for 12 years through Moore Autism Center. She is a Domestic abuse survivor and sexual assault survivor. She was assaulted in the military by a commanding officer, in which the military covered up and paid for her discharge in a lifetime of disability, instead of holding the abuser accountable . Her psychological, emotional, verbal, financial, and legal abuse started after filing for divorce at 7 months pregnant lasted 12 years. Both of her abusers are still walking free to this day . Her story is heartbreaking devastating , but also a story of strength, empowerment and overcoming determination and the will to never give up and that you are your child's biggest, biggest advocate. In this episode we will be Upacking & exposing the family court system and what is hindering survivors in protecting their children, such as judges that are paid and endorsed by a system, with immunity to ignore Victims and enable users. Nicole and maralen realized through their friendship that they shared a commonality of enduring the same systemic abuse with a same court official. Our hope, in sharing our stories is bringing awareness to corruption within the system, and exposing court officials who should also be held responsible for not protecting victims of domestic violence and their children. This will be a two-part episode and trust me you don't wanna miss any of it ! On this episode of the Real Estate Fight Club Podcast, Jenn and Monica are going to bring out the real issues, addressing the main things that you are doing that are hurting your business. Many real estate agents know there are things that they need to change but they don't. It is time to stop doing the things that are damaging your business and move in the right direction. Tune in now. Episode Highlights: Everyone knows that lead generating gives them money but why is it then that so many don't do it? Jenn says that lead generation is the number one thing that you have to get right. Agents fall into the trap of thinking that lead generation has to look the same as everybody else. Why do you think that lead gen has to be some torturous thing? Let Jenn and Monica know on the Facebook page. Are you a secret agent? Monica points out this is where a lot of agents take a downfall. Many people actually love what real estate agents do and want to see it on Social. Monica recommends coming from a place of contribution, not asking for business with the formula: Inform. Educate. Demonstrate. And Entertain. You can't just post about real estate and magically get business, Monica explains. Jenn says stop thinking that you need to do everything! Jenn and Monica have resources that help you calculate what money making activities you are doing versus other things that you should delegate. What about transaction coordinators? You cannot have a scarcity mindset. Monica talks about how it holds you back. You have to take the leap and start acting like the person that you want to be. There is great value in having a growth mindset and educating yourself as well as choosing carefully who you surround yourself with. Connect the dots with your why. Monica talks about the “nowhere between two somewheres” Agents are taking overpriced listings in this shifting market. You have to protect your reputation. The people who are active buyers and should buy the home are in it in the first 7-10 days as a general rule and it has not changed. You have to be comfortable selling your knowledge. Tiebreaker, Nicole Ward joins the conversation. She is a real estate agent in Northeast Ohio. Her podcast is called Confessions Of A Wife, Mom, and Realtor. She teaches a lot of CE courses as well. Nicole gives her top two things that are damaging real estate agents' business. 3 Key Points: Lead generation is the number one thing you have to learn to do well in your own way; Also, you can't be a secret agent…If people don't know what you do, they will forget about you. Do you think that you're the best real estate agent? Your confidence and mindset will directly affect your trajectory. You have to protect your reputation as a realtor. Monica warns against the situations that will hurt your reputation quickly. Product Photography and Styling Tips for the Busy Entrepreneur Product photography is everywhere! It’s on every social media platform (especially Instagram!) and it’s on every website that offers products. And guess what? Roughly, 99% of all purchases come from an emotional response... That’s HUGE! Now, I know we don’t have many Mums With Hustle Podcast episodes where we chat about product photography (though we do have this awesome episode with Nicole Ward that is all about flat lays!). Since product photography is essential to growing your business, I thought I’d invite a today’s guest onto the podcast to share her insight and knowledge when it comes to product photography. Today’s guest is Emily Sorenson! Emily is a Founding Member of the Social Method Society which means she has been a Member from the very beginning when we launched with just the promise of something awesome. Not only that, but Emily is the lead photographer and creative eye behind Emily K Creative. She provides an all encompassing product photography service from deep etched stock images to location photoshoots. And for those wanting to DIY, she creates lightroom presets that make photo editing seamless, cohesive and simple. During this episode, Emily is going to talk about her Shift Competition entry and how her mindset has shifted, along with the low-down on all things product photography and how to DIY your own photography to make scroll-stopping content. Let’s get into it! Key Takeaways: >> [0:40] Thank you for joining me for this week’s episode of the Mums With Hustle Podcast. My name is Tracy Harris, your host, and these episodes come out weekly on Monday. If you’ve been listening for awhile I want to thank you! It’s so amazing to have such a vast community of women who are ambitious and very heart-centered in how they show up online for their audience. >> [3:15] I want to remind everyone who is listening today that our Podcast Review giveaway is actually coming to an end in about 10 days, so if you haven’t left me a review on iTunes please make sure you do so along with your Instagram handle. This will allow us to hit you up in the DMs and get your address, should you be selected as one of our many winners to receive some snail mail from me! >> [4:03] Emily is a Founding Member of the Social Method Society which means she has been a Member from the very beginning when we launched with just the promise of something awesome. >> [5:05] During this episode, Emily is going to talk about her Shift Competition entry and how her mindset has shifted, along with the low-down on all things product photography and how to DIY your own photography to make scroll-stopping content. >> [7:12] Being a working mum in the corporate setting, Emily didn’t feel as supported once she returned to work. So she decided to make her own money! Emily has had her business for a year. >> [10:45] Every year we have a Shift Competition and it is an exercise of self-reflection. It’s about recognizing the shifts that you’ve had! This year, Emily won the Shift Competition because we were so moved by her entry. >> [12:45] Emily has experienced significant mindset growth and she has up-leveled her business massively. What was Emily’s big shift? Emily started to be courageous by developing two new streams of income and she backed herself with bigger package offerings. She has also started talking better about herself as a business owner. Emily also invested back into her business for new equipment and didn’t view it as a loss. >> [16:19] Emily offers Lightroom presets! They allow you to put a filter on your photo and completely customise it. These presets make editing really quick and consistent. Check out Emily’s Lightroom presets HERE. >> [18:45] You should always aim to share scroll stopping images on Instagram. What makes a scroll stopping image? Clear, bright and swoon worthy. Make your product stand out!

This week our conversations shifts to marriage as married couples Evan and Vanessa Hartsell and Gary and Nicole Ward join Create leader Frank Tappe on stage to share their humor, wisdom, insights and encouragement about married life.
The idea of therapy can be an overwhelming concept for any relationship. Do both partners have to be onboard? What if one partner isn't interested? Will this even help? The reality is we don't have all of the answers, and neither will any therapist. The right therapist will open your eyes to who you are, your character strengths and weaknesses, and guide you into realizations that help you heal, and subsequently become a better person to offer your relationship. The real work is oftentimes individual, and once we set our egos aside to accept that, we can find greater clarity on what a successful relationship requires of us. This process usually isn't that obvious. At least it wasn't for us. I'm this conversation with LMFT Nicole Ward, we arrived at a few necessary aha moments that will help dictate some meaningful shot-term relationship goals that will strengthen our marriage. Hopefully, this conversation gives you hope, encouragement, clarity, or simply sparks a conversation that you might otherwise avoided. Let us know via a voice note or any of the social media links below. Be blessed, Fam. Disclaimer: WE ARE NOT LICENSED THERAPISTS, OR ANY KIND OF THERAPIST FOR THAT MATTER.
