We're picking up right where we left off in last week's episode! Trey kicks things off with a scene where Lauren asks him not to masturbate because she's craving his pursuit. What follows is a hilarious and eye‑opening exchange about dating each other inside a long‑term relationship. From there, Lauren dives deep into spontaneous vs. responsive desire—and she doesn't hold back about how frustrating it is that so many men want women to “just want them more,” without doing the work to actually understand responsive desire! We break down the scene step‑by‑step and show how having the right tools (and the courage to use them!) helps us get the sex we both want. Then we open the door to one of our favorite parts of our week—our Sunday Morning Ritual. We talk about:What our ritual actually looks like (and why it's never locked in stone)How those slow, connected hours keep us craving each otherWhy this practice feels like both an investment in our sexual connection and a trip to our “favorite restaurant”Don't forget to listen to last week's episode first for the full story—then join us here for the deep dive!Want to learn how to craft rituals like this in your own relationship—and talk about the sex you actually want?

In this candid episode of The Partnership Podcast, Lauren and Trey dive into the messy, beautiful, and often misunderstood topic of masturbation within long-term relationships—the good, the bad, and the ugly. They open up about real moments in their own sex life, from Lauren recently asking Trey to “hold your cum for me” to their conversations about “tingle time” and what it really means to have mutually pleasurable sex.At 4:04, Lauren shares how they first introduced the term tingle time—and how Trey wasn't a fan at first! They discuss the power of withholding, why Trey doesn't want Lauren to “take one for the team,” and how “hot sex” and “warm sex” have shaped their desires.Key moments include:Why being able to talk about sex is more important than how much sex you're having.Lauren's reflections on The Wheel of Consent and why she sometimes chooses not to “give” Trey sex during her work week. The difference between invitations to mutual pleasure and gifts of sex—and why Trey isn't disappointed when Lauren says no.How they've deconflated touch and sex, so touch never feels obligatory.Lauren's clients who believe masturbation is “wrong” in partnership—and why this belief can be a trap. They also tease next week's episode, where they'll walk through a hypothetical scenario to unpack these ideas even further.✨ Ready to have more open, playful, and connected conversations about sex in your own relationship?Request a free consult with Lauren today: sexedforyou.com/freeconsult
Culture matters. We see it in the response to the new American Eagle ads featuring actress Sydney Sweeney and the Dunkin' Donuts commercial starring Gavin Casalegno. And we see it in the way Americans think and talk about abortion and having children. On this week's edition of “Problematic Women,” March for Life President Jennie Bradley Lichter joins the show to discuss where American sentiment on abortion stands, and how the pro-life movement is effectively working to save the unborn even as chemical abortions have become the most popular form of abortion in the U.S. Lichter also discusses her work during the first Trump administration and answers the question: can women have it all? Plus, former Vice President Kamala Harris is coming out with a book on her 107 day presidential campaign. Should be a fun read! We react to the news. At 10:42, Lauren shares the moment she felt real validation — when their coach and Trey both affirmed that her critique of Trey's self-awareness wasn't too much, it was spot-on.They discuss how denial of her feelings touched on old wounds of gaslighting from her first marriage, and how they are both working to repattern their safety-seeking behaviors in real time. And even though the work is hard (Lauren shares she felt physically sick before the session), they're recommitting to a partnership where love is prioritized over comfort.Timestamps:00:00 NYC rupture recap & coaching session reflection04:51 “Vision Carrier” and role separation10:42 The moment Lauren felt less “crazy”14:45 The difference between critique and cruelty20:30 Trey's repatterning work26:00 Love vs. comfort in partnership✨ Want to learn relationship tools like the ones we shared today?Request a free 15-minute consult at: www.sexedforyou.com/freeconsultAbout Us: Lauren and Trey are partners living in Central Virginia where Lauren owns and operates, SEX ED FOR YOU. After Lauren's standing-room-only Soho House event, she and Trey pull back the curtain on what happened behind the scenes—and why big wins can sometimes bring up big shadows.Lauren introduces her inner "Sissy," the part of her that believes she's only lovable if she's working hard, never celebrating. She opens up about the shame spiral that followed her success and how it led to a painful rupture with Trey. Trey shares his raw truth about feeling like “the help” while everyone else gets the best version of Lauren—and the resentment that can build in silence. They explore their shadow stories, like “I'm never enough” and “I don't get to want,” and how irrational beliefs can hijack real connection. They break down the missteps and miscommunications, the tender repair, and the nervous system reset they found on a long walk (and a 5-minute oral sex session that helped them stop over-talking).Lauren reflects on the power of being surrounded by people who help her level up—and cries as she thanks Trey for being her dream man, the one who keeps showing up.Don't miss the emotional moment at minute 42 where Lauren names, with full heart, the partnership they've built—and the gratitude she feels for the man who keeps cheering her on.
On this episode of #mensexpleasure, I chat with Dr. Giselle Woodley. Giselle is a recent PhD graduate and researcher whose work focuses on young people's perspectives on relationships, sex education, and online harms such as image-based abuse and sextortion. Her research centers youth voices and aims to develop youth-led strategies for navigating digital sexuality and relationships. In our conversation, Giselle shares the nuanced and often-overlooked views that teens hold about pornography, including their desire for ethical, educational content and their frustration with risk-heavy, adult-led education. We also explore the implications of censorship, the importance of listening to young people, and how we can reimagine sex ed to be more inclusive, practical, and pleasure-focused.Key Points: Giselle's background and research focusGiselle introduced herself as Dr. Giselle Woodley, a recent PhD graduate who has been researching teens' perspectives on relationships, education, and online harms like image-based abuse and sextortion. Her work aims to center youth voices and develop youth-led strategies in these areas.Teens' nuanced views onGiselle found that teens have diverse and nuanced views on , rather than simply seeing it as all good or all bad. Many felt adults exaggerate the harms of , while acknowledging potential risks. Teens valued for providing information and education about and relationships that they couldn't get elsewhere.Challenges of adult-led edTeens expressed frustration with the risk-focused, adult-led approach to education, feeling it didn't adequately prepare them for real-world and relationship experiences. They wanted more positive, comprehensive, and skills-based education, including information they could only find in .Teens' desire for ethical Many teens were interested in finding ethical, educational, and relationship-positive pornographic content, but faced barriers like not having access to payment methods or feeling unsure of where to find such content online. They saw a need for more resources in this area.Concerns about censorship and regulationTeens were skeptical of censorship and age verification measures, feeling they would just drive them to use more unregulated online platforms. They saw these approaches as ineffective and potentially making prohibited content more alluring.Recap and future collaborationGiselle and Cam discussed opportunities for further collaboration, including potentially connecting Cam with other researchers in this space like Siobhan Healy Cullen. They agreed the conversation was valuable and looked forward to continuing the dialogue.
Natalie is joined by sex educator Erica Smith to talk about how our obsession with purity culture affects the quality of sex education we are given. Sex education should be something that is delivered to people without bias and without the idea that virginity and religion should be at the center of your sexual identity. Erica is the creator of the Purity Culture Dropout program that aims to provide support to people who are wanting to de-program from purity culture and take part in sex education that is queer inclusive, safe, and informative. The episode will center around how we became so purity driven when it came to sexuality, the consequences we face when sex is only viewed from the lens of religious morality, and what steps we can be taking to make sure we are talking about sex in ways that everyone has the knowledge to make decisions based in how they actually feel.Follow us at @menivetoleratedpod on Instagram!https://www.patreon.com/menivetoleratedpod on Patreon for bonus content! Season 12 is all about PLEASURE and we're kicking things off with a juicy one! This week, DB is joined by Dr. Candice Nicole Hargons—licensed psychologist, sex researcher, and pleasure activist—to talk about what happened when 1,000 people with masturbate for science! The Magic Wand Wellness Study is the first study of its kind to look at how daily masturbation impacts things like sleep, stress, focus, confidence, and body image, and the results were amazing. We talk about why solo pleasure is so often ignored in wellness culture, what DB learned from doing the study herself, and why taking time to get yourself off might actually make you feel better in your body, your brain, and your relationships. If you've been feeling disconnected from your pleasure — especially solo pleasure — this is your gentle nudge (or loud, vibrating one) to come back to it! GUEST DETAILS Dr. Candice Nicole Hargons is an award-winning associate professor at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, where she studies sexual wellness and liberation. She has published over 80 academic articles and has been featured in popular media, including Cosmopolitan, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Essence, Ebony, and the Huffington Post. “So, we're on the elevator—and we're angry.”In this raw and revealing follow-up to last week's episode, Lauren picks up right where they left off: the hotel hallway tension, the slammed door, and the unforgettable, rage-fueled sex that followed. Clothes were ripped off, bodies thrown against walls, and a deep desire to be chosen and wanted took over.Lauren and Trey reflect on the erotic electricity of that night—what made it so charged, why they've never had sex like that before, and how it left them both breathless… and then laughing when Trey had to wear Lauren's sweatshirt home after the fire alarm went off. (Yes, really.)But this episode isn't just a sex story. They unpack the difference between hot and healthy. They name the ingredients that made that encounter intense and why they've agreed not to repeat it. Together, they explore the psychology of angry sex, make-up sex, and what happens when arousal is driven by disconnection instead of desire. They then shift into what's coming next: their plans for an upcoming Manhattan rendezvous—one that blends familiarity and mystery—and Lauren's exciting speaking gig at Soho House. She opens up about her growth, the mantra she's holding—"I am good enough"—and how she's preparing to do Live Sex & Relationship Coaching on stage.Trey shares his excitement and support for Lauren's so-called “National Tour,” and they talk about what it means to keep showing up for each other, especially when the stakes are high. This conversation blends sexual healing, relationship advice, and emotional intimacy, offering tools for couples who want to better understand the intersection of sex and conflict. Whether you're curious about sex after a fight, make-up intimacy, or how communication can turn rage into repair, this episode delivers insights you won't hear in couples therapy or your group chat.

Why is hotel sex so hot? In this juicy and joy-filled episode of The Partnership Podcast, Trey and Lauren explore the psychology behind the passion—why sex in a hotel room often feels freer, more exciting, and more connected.Trey opens with a hilarious hotel story from Amarillo, TX, and shares how heightened sensations and novelty make intimacy feel brand new. Lauren adds her insights about anticipation, freedom from responsibility, and the gift of being cared for instead of caretaking. She breaks down the difference between support and caretaking, referencing their past episode and the cultural conditioning that teaches women to be “human givers.”At minute 10:47, Lauren introduces “Noel,” the sexy Christmas gift she sends Trey every year—and the conversation takes off from there. Together, they explore how hotel sex removes pressure while opening up the possibility of pleasure.Lauren names the unique freedom hotel stays offer:- Sex as a place we go, not something we do- A break from obligations and identity- The opportunity to abandon roles and expectations- A container for connection, not performanceThey even touch on hotel sex that goes wrong—and how even those moments strengthen the bond and create hilarious, memorable stories. The episode ends just as Lauren shares the start of a fight she picked with Trey about his wedding ring… but to hear the juicy resolution, you'll need to tune in next week for Part Two.

How many times do dolphins have sex? And do manatees masturbate? This week, we somehow dove into the sex habits of mammals—starting with dolphins and then wandering into even stranger waters with manatees and whether or not they enjoy a little “solo” time. Which oddly led us straight to dinosaurs. Did they actually have sex? Or did they just lay eggs and call it a day?
