Meet Sandi York, a bloodline Jewish believer in Jesus as her Messiah! Sandi's story has lots of twists and turns which remind us of God's relentless pursuit of us!"Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore He exalts Himself to show mercy to you.For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him. For a people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as He hears it, He answers you. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide Himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher." Isaiah 30:18-20There was a special moment when Sandi cried out for mercy and God rushed in to help her - just like these verses in Isaiah 30 describe. Sandi, who discovered the deep love of Jesus, now has the privilege of sharing Him with others through the Hebrew book of Song of Solomon! You can connect with Sandi on Instagram: @sandi_york_ A special thank you to Project of Love for the beautiful music in this episode! Grief has a way of showing up when we least expect it, especially during seasons that are meant to feel joyful. Today, Jay brings together powerful conversations with different guests who have each experienced grief in deeply personal ways. Together, these stories reveal how grief manifests uniquely for each person, often unfolding in many forms at once. Kate Cassidy opens up about losing her partner and shares how healing didn’t come from grand moments, but from small, intimate rituals. Nicole Avant reflects on the tragic loss of her mother and reveals how forgiveness, faith, and gratitude became tools for resilience rather than bitterness. Karan Johar speaks about losing his father to cancer and how their honest conversations before his passing gave him a sense of closure many people never get, reminding us not to wait to say what matters most. Taylor Hill honors the different forms of grief that are often minimized, including miscarriage and the loss of a beloved pet. In this episode, you'll learn: How to Sit With Grief Without Rushing Healing How to Find Comfort in Small Daily Rituals How to Focus on a Life Lived, Not Just a Loss How to Say What Matters Before It’s Too Late How to Hold Space for Someone Without Fixing Them How to Honor Invisible or Unspoken Losses How to Let Love, Not Loss, Lead Your Healing If you’re carrying loss right now, know that you are not alone, even when it feels isolating. Healing often happens quietly, in small routines, honest conversations, moments of stillness, and the permission to feel exactly what you feel. With Love and Gratitude, Jay Shetty. Tonight's Triple Feature takes us across three very different animated landscapes: Predator: Killer of Killers, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, and Love Me. At first glance, they don't seem to belong together—sci-fi bloodsport, dark fantasy folklore, and surreal romance. But when you strip them down, they share a common pulse. Each film uses animation not just as a style but as a weapon. Predator turns combat into operatic spectacle, the Witcher refracts violence through moral ambiguity, and Love Me translates intimacy into something jagged and strange. They're all asking the same question: how do you capture the extremes of human experience when realism isn't enough? These stories lean on mythology and the superhuman—hunters, monsters, and lovers blown up into archetypes. And they all circle around alienation. The Predator is literally alien, Geralt is permanently the outsider, and Love Me lingers on the alienation baked into desire itself. What unites them is the uncanny, the surreal, the sense that the only way to tell the truth about violence and intimacy is to exaggerate it until it breaks. So that's the throughline tonight: three animated visions that turn estrangement, myth, and brutality into something bigger than life—and maybe, because of that, closer to the truth.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

In this raw and deeply personal solo episode, Caitlin gets brutally honest about what really happened in the months leading up to her wedding - and it wasn't the fairy tale love bubble you see in movies. After recording this episode 35 times (yes, really), she finally lets it be messy and shares how her avoidant attachment patterns showed up in ways she never expected, how she almost convinced herself she was marrying the wrong person, and what she discovered when she dug beneath the surface of her doubts. This episode is the real, uncomfortable truth about what it takes to choose love when your nervous system is screaming "run."This episode is for you if:You've ever doubted a good relationship and wondered if there's something "better" out thereYou struggle with intimacy even when you feel safe with someoneYou keep having the same arguments with your partner and can't figure out whyYou're terrified that loving someone deeply means you'll be destroyed if you lose themWhat we'll cover:How avoidant attachment shows up differently in secure relationships versus toxic onesWhy Caitlin felt like she was "missing spark" and what she discovered about her relationship to seduction and intimacyThe mirror dynamic that showed her and her partner were actually facing the same fearsThe moment she realised her avoidance wasn't about commitment—it was about her terror of lossKey points:06:00:00 - The Wedding Doubt SpiralCaitlin shares how the question "what if I regret it?" started consuming her thoughts three months before the wedding.15:00:00 - Missing the SparkWhy she felt like something was missing in her relationship and what she discovered about her addiction to push-pull dynamics.25:00:00 - The Seductress ShadowHow Caitlin realised she'd shut down parts of herself that brought aliveness because she'd only used them as manipulation tactics.50:00:00 - The Deactivation StrategyHow Caitlin caught herself unconsciously starting fights to create distance when intimacy felt too vulnerable. This episode is messy, real, and probably longer than it needed to be—just like relationships. Share your thoughts with us @shadowalchemycoachingacademy, especially if you've recognised your own patterns in Caitlin's story. If you're in a relationship where someone isn't willing to meet you in curiosity and vulnerability, this episode might be the reality check you need. And if you're with someone who is willing to do the work, even when it's uncomfortable, maybe it's time to stop looking for problems and start co-creating solutions.

Deep love, today I go deep. I had it for 20 years only 20 years best 20 years ever my love story has made some people cry.
The Bible clearly describes God love for us. If you want to focus on one aspect of God's character today, remember this great truth: You are deeply loved by God. Our Heavenly Father doesn't just express love. The Bible says He is love.Main Points:1. The love we have received from God is undeserved. It is unmerited. We are unworthy of such great love, yet it doesn't stop God from loving us.2. There are a lot of people who will love you if you show them love. But in the case of God, He is the initiator. He does not respond to our love for Him. He loved us before we ever cared about Him and before we ever knew Him.3. One of the proofs of God's love is that it is sacrificial. The scripture says God sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”Today's Scripture Verses:1 John 4:7-8 – “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”1 John 4:9-10 – “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”1 Corinthians 13:4-6 - “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook Group

This sermon explores the concept of a deep love for Christ, using the biblical account of a woman anointing Jesus with expensive perfume as a central illustration. It outlines five key hallmarks of this profound love: worship, extravagance, disregard for worldly opinion, resulting spiritual insight, and divine approval.
Today's message is brought to us by Pastoral Intern Aaron. Sam Bardwell, brings the Gospel Lesson, John Chapter 12, verses 1 to 8, to life.
Look out, everyone: This week's episode is an all-timer! We've got the one and only Ron Moore in the STUDIO. I am still so intimidated by Ron and it was such an honor to sit down with him for this conversation. If you DON'T know Ron Moore, I don't even know what to say. He created Battlestar Galactica, Outlander and For All Mankind. He spent a decade writing for Star Trek, on both The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. His mark on American sci-fi is massive and I can't believe I get to call him my friend. We talk about all things Battlestar, including a really beautiful conversation about the show's ending. We talk about how he got his start writing for Trek, what he's learned from the characters he's created and what's next on the horizon for him. I know you'll enjoy this conversation, it's one of my absolute favorites. After the interview, stick around for a tease of next week's episode— We've got something super-fun and special planned for you! Come see us live in Indiana! Read OnlineJesus said to his disciples: “The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.” Luke 9:22Jesus knew He would suffer greatly, be rejected and killed. How would you deal with that knowledge if you somehow knew this about your own future? Most people would be filled with fear and become obsessed with trying to avoid it. But not our Lord. This passage above shows just how intent He was on embracing His Cross with unwavering confidence and courage. This is just one of several times that Jesus began to break the news to His disciples about His pending fate. And each time He spoke this way, the disciples for the most part remained either silent or in denial. Recall, for example, one such reaction of Saint Peter when he responded to Jesus' prediction of His Passion by saying, “God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you” (Matthew 16:22).In reading this passage above, the strength, courage and determination of our Lord shine through by the fact that He speaks so clearly and definitively. And what motivates Jesus to speak with such conviction and courage is His love.Too often, “love” is understood as a strong and good feeling. It's perceived as an attraction to something or a strong liking of it. But that's not love in the truest form. True love is a choice to do what is best for another, no matter the cost, no matter how difficult. True love is not a feeling that seeks selfish fulfillment. True love is an unwavering strength that seeks only the good of the person who is loved.Jesus' love for humanity was so strong that He was driven toward His pending death with great power. He was unwaveringly determined to sacrifice His life for us all, and there was nothing that would ever deter Him from that mission. In our own lives, it's easy to lose sight of what true love actually is. We can easily become caught up in our own selfish desires and think that these desires are love. But they are not. Reflect, today, upon the unwavering determination of our Lord to sacrificially love us all by suffering greatly, by enduring rejection, and by dying upon the Cross. Nothing could have ever deterred Him from this love. We must show the same sacrificial love. My loving Lord, I thank You for Your unwavering commitment to sacrifice Yourself for us all. I thank You for this unfathomable depth of true love. Give me the grace I need, dear Lord, to turn away from all forms of selfish love so as to imitate and participate in Your most perfect sacrificial love. I do love You, dear Lord. Help me to love You and others with all my heart. Jesus, I trust in You.Image: Pietro della Vecchia, Public domain, via Wikimedia CommonsSource of content: catholic-daily-reflections.comCopyright © 2025 My Catholic Life! Inc. All rights reserved. Today I am chatting with one of my absolute favorite writers, the one and only Gretchen Rubin, about her forthcoming book Secrets of Adulthood: Simple Truths for Our Complex Lives, which comes out April 1. Gretchen writes here about the lessons she's learned to making life more meaningful and satisfying, covering areas as wide ranging as self-improvement, adventure, the challenge of love, friendship, work, creativity, procrastination, tough decisions, pain, desire, getting it wrong, and consequences. The book teaches us, or reteaches us, about aphorisms, which Gretchen explains in today's episode; we also talk about happiness, which is one of Gretchen's chief topics she writes about, and she writes in the book that as to there being a so-called “secret to happiness” that “there's no one best way—we each have to figure it out for ourselves.” In addition to happiness, much of Gretchen's work centers around human nature and habits; we talk about her latest book but also some of her past work, too, as well as her #Read25in25 challenge, which I love. In addition to being a prolific writer, Gretchen is also an avid reader, and I hope by now she's read the book I recommended to her on the show. You are probably already deeply familiar with her work—she's written New York Times bestsellers like The Happiness Project, The Four Tendencies, Better Than Before, Outer Order Inner Calm, and Life in Five Senses, for starters—and she's also a podcaster, hosting the top-ranked and award-winning “Happier with Gretchen Rubin.” Gretchen is one of the most forefront thought leaders out there today, and her books have sold a whopping 3.5 million copies worldwide and have been translated to more than 30 languages. Interestingly, Gretchen started her career in law, and realized she wanted to be a writer while she was clerking for none other than Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. I can't wait for you to hear what Gretchen has to say.Secrets of Adulthood: Simple Truths for Our Complex Lives by Gretchen Rubin
As you face new fearful challenges, recall his goodness, love, and faithfulness. Take time to grab his hand and walk forward with his peace. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Have you experienced God's perfect love in your life? What did it feel like? How did it change your situation or perspective? God's love is the one and only force powerful enough to truly change us. To redeem us. To rescue us from our own sin, fear, and confusion. His love makes us perfect. The primary quality of perfect love is that with this kind of love present fear is banished. When fear enters a situation, that means we aren't walking in God's perfect love. With that in mind, it's clear that we are not living in the full reality of God's love so much of the time. I know that I, for one, live with fear and anxiety as my default approach more often than not. When an unexpected expense pops up my gut reaction is anxiety over how the extra bill will be paid rather than a peace that the God who knows every hair on my head will provide exactly what I need. If my child is struggling I immediately hop into Mom action mode trying to control the situation for their benefit rather than pausing to pray for wisdom. If I experience conflict in my marriage or with others I love, I fret endlessly over how things played out, instead of going to God in repentance and seeking His gracious understanding. I live with fear and anxiety because I live by my strength not by his grace. That's why we need to be reminded that this Christian life we have been gifted is not one about rules or measurements. It's a grand love story. When we are tempted to fear we are invited to recall our first love and all the ways God has so graciously provided for us. Remember how the last time you felt a financial pinch, God provided! How he has held your marriage together despite both of your imperfections. How he gifted you that child and loves them even more than you do. His love is deep, wide, and relentlessly pursuing us. When we grab onto that perfect love the voice of fear grows quieter and quieter until it is silenced because God's love casts out all fear. FEar and love cannot coexist. This week I was convicted to practice what I preach. I felt anxiety well up in me as a child we know is at risk and I am not sure if or how I could be the one to help care for them. I am afraid of how my lack of action would impact the child and how my potential actions would impact my family. It feels like either way I'd be letting someone down or putting someone at risk. I am afraid. Then I was reminded of this verse and how God loves this child that is being knit together in a womb and my first job is to pray for this child. His love and provision is big enough to give me wisdom and this child a hope and a future. I have to hold onto God's hand and rely on his peaceful guidance rather than fretting over the many unknowns that could unfold in this wild situation. It amazes me that no matter how many times I have witnessed God's miracle working power in my life I still so quickly forget and doubt his loving sovereign work in my life. I am like the Isrealites, wandering and so quickly looking to my own self-made gods to solve the problems of my own wilderness journey, rather than looking to the one that promises to deliver me to the promise of Heaven. Thankfully God's love is patient and kind. He allows us to repent, to learn, and to return to Him over and over as we journey through life. For that amazing grace I am so thankful. Intersecting Faith and Life Have you truly experienced God's life changing, fear banishing love? If not, take time to pray and ask God to show you how to fall in love with him. If you have, reflect on what God has done for you. As you face new fearful challenges, recall his goodness, love, and faithfulness. Take time to grab his hand and walk forward with his peace.
