You're thinking about writing a book. You've got an idea, a message you care about, and a sense that becoming an author will elevate your credibility. But here's a question worth asking before you start writing. Will this book actually create opportunities for your business? Many speakers and coaches assume that simply having a book will be enough. That it will attract clients and lead to speaking engagements. But without a clear strategy behind it, a book can easily become a lot of effort with very little return. Before you write, it's important to step back and ask a few key questions:  Who is this book really for? The answer can't be “everyone.”  What problem does it solve? Does the reader KNOW they have this problem?  How does the book connect to your offers? Do you need to rename them?  And what do you want a reader to do after they finish it? If they love your book, how can they find you, and what can they do with you next? Those are exactly the kinds of questions we explore in the Author ROI Lab, a small group program designed to help entrepreneurs decide whether the book they're considering is worth writing and how to leverage it for real business results. To learn more, visit www.BookLaunchBrainstorm.com. And now, let's meet today's panelists. Amy Climer wrote "Deliberate Creative Teams: How to Lead for Innovative Results," a practical leadership guide that helps teams build the skills, mindset, and structures needed to consistently generate innovative ideas and turn them into meaningful results. Daria Rudnik wrote "CLICKING: A Team Building Strategy for Overloaded Leaders Who Want Stronger Team Trust, Better Results, and More Time," a results-driven framework that shows leaders how to strengthen trust, improve collaboration, and create more efficient, high-performing teams without adding more to their plate. Tissa Richards is the author of two books, including "Rethinking Resilience: Fueling Your Competitive Advantage," a strategic guide that challenges traditional views of resilience and shows leaders how to leverage it as a powerful driver of performance, adaptability, and long-term success. Please join me in welcoming Amy, Daria, and Tissa.  In this episode, we discuss the following:

Most founders are not lacking information. They're lacking activation. In this episode, you'll hear Part 1 of our Provider to CEO Panel from ALT,  featuring POP Leadership Academy members Jill Canes, Shannon Morrow, and Dr. Jill Goodman. Despite leading different businesses in different markets and stages of growth, they share a common thread: a commitment to investing in their leadership development and becoming the CEOs their businesses required them to be. We explore one of the biggest growth barriers business owners face: confusing knowledge with transformation. From conferences and podcasts to books, trainings, and endless saved content, many leaders spend years learning without ever fully implementing what they already know. We'll talk about the difference between consuming information and activating it. Because real business growth doesn't happen when you learn something new. it happens when you operationalize it, embody it, and consistently execute it. Together, we discuss what it really takes to transition from provider to CEO, the mindset shifts that accelerate growth, and how leadership activation creates lasting operational change. If you've been asking yourself, "What else do I need to learn?" This episode may challenge you to ask a more powerful question: "What do I need to fully activate?" The dice are rolling, the dad jokes are flying, and another unforgettable episode of Wise_N_Nerdy is underway! Joe and Charles kick things off with the Question of the Week: "On a scale of 1-10, how strict are/were your parents?" The conversation quickly turns into a nostalgic journey through childhood as both hosts reflect on the parenting styles that shaped them, sharing humorous stories and surprising insights about growing up. As always, the mighty dice determine the flow of the show, and the first stop is the "How Do I...?" segment. Rather than tackling a specific question, Charles and Joe take a moment to discuss the future of the segment itself, brainstorming ideas and inviting listeners to submit their own "How Do I...?" questions for future episodes. It's a great opportunity for the Wise_N_Nerdy community to help shape upcoming conversations. The dice then decree that it's time for everyone's favorite groan-worthy tradition: Bad Dad Jokes. Pulled straight from the Wise_N_Nerdy Discord community, the jokes are every bit as terrible as listeners have come to expect—and that's exactly what makes them so wonderful. Next comes the Parliament of Papas, where the hosts discuss a story of delightfully petty revenge. When one frustrated individual decided to park behind a troublesome neighbor before heading out of town for the weekend, the results were equal parts hilarious and vindicating. Charles and Joe dive into the ethics, humor, and unintended consequences of taking the petty road. The dice continue their quest and land on "What Are You Nerding Out About?" Joe shares his enthusiasm for A Parade of Horribles, highlighting not only the story itself but also the incredible production quality of the audiobook. Meanwhile, Charles is excitedly nerding out about his newest creative venture, The Little Brown Pill, a podcast that explores coffee culture, comedy, and conversation in a uniquely entertaining way. To close out the episode, it's time for "Daddy, Tell Me A Story." Charles and Joe swap memorable tales from convention panels where things didn't quite go according to plan. From audiences turning against them to unexpected crowd reactions, these stories showcase the unpredictable and often hilarious nature of live events. Whether you're here for fatherhood, fandom, community interaction, nerdy passions, or simply a few good laughs, this episode has something for everyone. Pressure isn't a sign you're off track; it's God breaking up the ground so your harvest can grow. In this panel discussion, Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Dr. Val, and Pastor Don Johnson take us through Acts 6-10, revealing what real growth looks like when the foundation is tested. They challenge the myth that titles produce work, exposing that the most powerful servants were already doing the work before they ever received recognition. From Stephen's unwavering faith while being condemned to Philip's willingness to let go of the mantle so Paul could step into his purpose, this panel shows us that God doesn't promote titles, He promotes hearts. You'll discover that softening your heart daily, volunteering without expecting return, and keeping your eyes on Jesus instead of your accusers is what sustains you through pressure. These questions anchor our discussion: • Why do things become harder before recovery? • How do I soften my heart daily? • How do I check my spirit when volunteering, not to seek recognition? • What does it mean when God is trying to heal you, but you reject it? Watch the full conversation and discover how pressure produces purpose. Message: “Walk It Out Wednesday: Growing Through Pressure” Speakers: Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Dr. Val, and Pastor Don Johnson Scriptures: Acts 6-10 Date: June 10, 2026 ✨ Welcome to Your Moment of Transformation You don't have to walk this journey alone. Let Jesus guide your steps and fill your life with purpose and peace.

Recorded live before a full audience at Sauna Days 2025, this special episode of Sauna Talk brings together four authors, educators, and lifelong students of human experience for a conversation that moves well beyond sauna itself. Joining me are Garrett Conover, author of Sauna Magic; Jesse Coomer, author and educator in breathwork and cold exposure; Harvey Martin, author of Breathe, Focus, Excel and Without Words; and myself, Glenn Auerbach, author of Sauna Build from Start to Finish. Together, we explore the experiences, obsessions, and questions that led each of us to write books and dedicate years of our lives to sharing what we've learned. Our discussion ranges from sauna culture, cold plunging, breathwork, athletics, coaching, and creativity to broader questions about wellness, personal growth, and what it means to live an examined life. We talk about the tension between science and intuition, the limits of protocols and optimization, and why authentic experiences often teach us more than information alone. Along the way, we reflect on how writing changes the writer, how teaching changes the teacher, and how books become snapshots of who we were at a particular moment in our own journeys. The conversation is candid, thoughtful, and at times deeply personal. Rather than presenting ourselves as experts with all the answers, we share stories of uncertainty, evolution, mistakes, and discovery. Whether discussing sauna, breath, cold exposure, nervous system regulation, or the search for meaning and connection in modern life, a common theme emerges: the most valuable lessons often come not from information, but from direct experience. If you've ever wondered why practices like sauna, breathwork, cold immersion, and time in nature can have such a profound impact on how we feel, think, and connect with ourselves and others, you'll find plenty to reflect on in this conversation. Recorded in the Great Lake Room at Sauna Days 2025, this is a live authors panel about writing, learning, teaching, and the lifelong pursuit of awareness, presence, and authentic human connection.

A great panel discussion doesn't happen by accident. Even the most carefully designed panel can fall apart once the conversation begins if the moderator isn't equipped to guide it effectively. In this episode, we're diving into six common moderator habits that derail panel discussions—and the simple shifts that transform an average moderator into an exceptional one. Whether you're moderating a conference panel, webinar, leadership discussion, or industry event, these practical tips will help you create more engaging, insightful, and memorable conversations. You'll learn why moderation is far more than asking questions, and how great moderators listen deeply, manage the moment, and bring out the best in their panelists. In This Episode: • Why the moderator should never be the star of the show • How active listening creates better panel conversations • The problem with asking every panelist every question • Techniques for managing dominant panelists and balancing airtime • How to ask tougher, more engaging questions that audiences want answered • Why strong panel endings matter—and how to finish with purpose Key Takeaways: ✓ Focus on making your panelists shine ✓ Stay present and respond to what is happening in the moment ✓ Direct questions intentionally instead of going "down the line" ✓ Manage airtime to keep conversations balanced and engaging ✓ Create thoughtful tension through better questions ✓ End with clear takeaways and a meaningful call to action Memorable Quote: "A great moderator makes it look easy. But behind every great panel is someone listening deeply, thinking ahead, and managing the moment." Connect & Learn More: Looking to elevate your panel discussions? Mastering moderation can be the difference between a forgettable session and one that audiences talk about long after the event ends. Remember: Your job isn't just to ask questions—it's to create a conversation worth having. Read the complete article here: https://www.powerfulpanels.com/6-habits-that-kill-a-panel/

Send us Fan MailModernizing SAP environments requires far more than executing a software upgrade or signing a new licensing agreement. Organizations migrating to SAP S/4HANA or consolidating multiple regional ERP systems into SAP often face significant risks tied to fragmented legacy data models, inconsistent master data, and undocumented transformation logic that can undermine production cutover readiness. In this session, SNP CTO Steele Arbeeny explains how Kyano Crossway supports legacy-to-SAP conversion programs beyond traditional ETL approaches by governing the entire data conversion lifecycle. Rather than treating migration as isolated data loads, Crossway structures and manages mapping logic, transformation rules, validation workflows, and traceability controls to ensure transparency and audit confidence throughout the process. As a result, organizations gain visibility into what changed, why it changed, and whether the transformed data is fully prepared for production deployment within a governed SAP-ready architecture.Video: https://www.elevatiq.com/events-and-webinars/legacy-sap-workloads-readiness-turning-legacy-data-into-sap-ready-data/Questions for Panelists?

Survivor 50 Panel at The Tribeca Film Festival Survivor celebrates its 25th anniversary at the iconic Tribeca Festival, bringing fans and legends together to reflect on 50 thrilling seasons of blindsides, alliances, and changing gameplay. In this milestone panel, Jane Rosenthal (Academy Award-nominated producer and co-founder of Tribeca Festival) is joined by Survivor icons including Rob and a panel of recent castaways to break down just what has kept Survivor fresh, relevant, and captivating for a quarter century. The discussion dives deep into Survivor 50, with candid stories about evolving gameplay—from the old school ride-or-die alliances to today's fast-shifting strategies where betrayal might just forge your next big move. Rob sets the tone by highlighting the “tribe” at the heart of Tribeca, while Jane and others reveal how Survivor has become both an archive of human interaction and a mirror for social change. The castaways talk openly about the shortened 26-day format, what it feels like to return to “regular” life after the highs and lows of Tribal Council, and the challenge of keeping up in a world (and show) where attention spans are shorter, but the stakes feel bigger than ever. – How Survivor's social game has evolved from ruthless old-school loyalty to quick repairs and unexpected new partnerships – Rob's perspective on why being voted out still resonates so deeply with our basic human fears and desires – The impact of Survivor's increased representation—including calls for more blue-collar workers and trans women on the cast – Insights into the role of storytelling at Final Tribal: has ‘outwit, outplay, outlast' changed its meaning? – Jane Rosenthal and panelists discuss how Survivor moments—from hard-hitting social issues to unforgettable blindsides—continue shaping viewers and players alike As Survivor 50 continues to push boundaries, the panel raises questions about who will adapt and thrive in an era where gameplay, identity, and society overlap.
