This past Sunday, we reflected on Charlie Kirk's growing impact on the church, how he has challenged believers—especially men—to take their faith out of passivity and into public engagement. We saw how his leadership through Turning Point Faith and his exhortations for young men to reject addiction, entitlement, and spiritual apathy have stirred both conviction and controversy. Ultimately, we asked what it looks like for us, as men of faith, to respond—not with fear or complacency, but with courage, integrity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Hour 1 – Marc and Dan open with recent violent incidents and political rhetoric before diving into 2A Tuesday with Mark Walters. They discuss gun safety legislation, the Second Amendment Foundation's marijuana and gun ownership brief, and the growing conservative movement showcased at Turning Point USA's Phoenix event. Hour 2 – The show turns to free speech and cancel culture following Charlie Kirk's assassination, media reaction to a tribute resolution, and Missouri politics. Former Senator John Lamping breaks down the state's new 7–1 congressional map, initiative petition reform, and Governor Kehoe's legislative strategy. In Other News includes Tom Brady's possible flag football appearance, a woman fighting off an alligator to save her dog, and John Cryer's complaints from Two and a Half Men. Hour 3 – Fox and Friends First host Todd Piro discusses Charlie Kirk's legacy, international vigils, and his wife Erica's leadership in continuing Turning Point's mission, along with analysis of New York politics under Governor Kathy Hochul. In 2A Tuesday, Mark Walters returns to address recent gun control debates and marijuana laws. The hour closes with Buck Don't Give a ____ on media bias and the suspension of reporter Beni Rae Harmony after her emotional on-air tribute to Charlie Kirk. Hour 4 – Focus shifts fully to Charlie Kirk's faith, influence, and cultural impact. Councilman Mark Harder explains his county council resolution honoring Kirk. Pastor Wes Martin reflects on Kirk's bold biblical leadership, humility, and the rapid growth of Turning Point Faith. Ryan Wiggins frames Kirk's assassination as a cultural and spiritual moment, highlighting his role as “salt and light,” his generational influence, and the possibility of sparking a revival in America.
This special episode Tributes the Life of a Non-Native New Yorker who had a big influence on New York and the Whole World. Charlie Kirk was shot this past Wednesday on September 10 because of his beliefs and what he stood for.Charles James Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality. He was executive director of the student organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA), which he co-founded in 2012 to promote conservative beliefs in high schools and on college campuses. He published a range of books and hosted The Charlie Kirk Show, a conservative talk radio program. In his later years, he became recognized as one of the most prominent voices of the populist MAGA movement in the Republican Party.Kirk was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs of Arlington Heights and Prospect Heights. After being rejected from the West Point Military Academy, he briefly attended Harper College but dropped out after one semester to pursue political activism full-time. He worked with various donors to fund TPUSA, rising to prominence via college campus debates held at his signature Prove Me Wrong table. He has since been credited with generating interest in political conservatism amongst the youth.[1][2][3] He extended TPUSA's influence through the Professor Watchlist and School Board Watchlist, founded to spread conservative ideals at liberal-leaning colleges. Under his leadership, TPUSA developed several affiliate groups, including Turning Point Action and Turning Point Faith, with the latter aimed at mobilizing religious communities around conservative issues. Initially critical of the evangelical right, he shifted to Christian nationalism, advocating a Christian form of government and a Christian population.A key ally of Donald Trump, he promoted far-right and Trump-aligned causes and espoused a variety of conservative stances, including opposition to abortion, gun control, and LGBT rights. His more controversial views include his criticism of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr. and his promotion of COVID-19 misinformation and false claims of electoral fraud in 2020.On September 10, 2025, Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a TPUSA public debate event on the Utah Valley University campus. His death gained international attention and led to the condemnation of political violence by prominent domestic and international figures. President Trump announced that Kirk would posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.PICTURE: By Gage Skidmore - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore/54670961811/, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=172612805
Series: Signs & GloryTitle: How does Jesus prepare us for what's next?Subtitle: Learning how to shine together in these dark days.Scripture: John 13:18-38 NIVBottom line: Even (Especially) in dark times, Jesus prepares us to shine together.Bottom line 2: Jesus prepares us to shine in the dark together by showing us his love, calling us to love one another, and showing us how to love each other even when we fail.INTRODUCTIONCONTEXTSERMON OUTLINECONCLUSIONNOTESQUESTIONS TO CONSIDER DISCUSSION QUESTIONSMAIN REFERENCES USEDOpening prayer: Lord God, help us grow to be and do like Jesus, while abiding in him and leading others to do the same. INTRODUCTIONOn September 10th, 2025, thousands of people gathered at Utah Valley University to hear Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Faith. Just 31 years old, outspoken, and unafraid to share his Christian faith — Charlie was shot and killed in front of a live audience. The news has shocked our country. Whatever you think about his politics, the suddenness of it all reminds us how fragile life really is, and how quickly everything can change.Moments like this leave us asking: Are we really prepared for what's ahead? No doubt his death has shaken not only his followers but many of us who are for civil dialogue in the pursuit of truth and better ideas for our future as a nation. How should they at Turning Point proceed? How should we as Americans proceed? Most importantly, how should we as followers of Jesus Christ proceed? His disciples faced a similar challenge 2,000 years ago, beginning with a turning point of cosmic proportions with the betrayal of Judas Iscariot.I submit that we should proceed as Jesus led his disciples to on the night of his arrest and the eve of his crucifixion.Bottom line: Even (Especially) in dark times, Jesus prepares us to shine together.CONTEXTWe've reached a turning point in the book of John not only from public ministry (mix of believers and unbelievers) to private (his followers) but even more so as Judas removes himself from The Twelve leaving the group made up solely of those who have been cleansed by belief in Jesus. We see this happen in verse 31.As a result, and building on his call for them to serve one another, Jesus calls them to love one another as he has loved them. This is the most appropriate response to his cross-centered, obedient love for his Father and for us.These are dark days, no doubt. And it's weeks like this when we feel like they're darker than ever. The question is: Are you prepared and preparing yourself and your household (oikos), your family, your friends, your people--those you do life with?Jesus gives us another example of his love and then sends us out as his ambassadors to shine brightly together in this dark world. How? Well, let's read this and find out.OUTLINE (w/ help from Kent Hughes and ChatGPT)I. Love's Demonstration (18-30)Jesus loved Judas and gave him every opportunity to embrace him then and there.A. The Betrayal Foretold (18-30). Jesus reveals his knowledge of a betrayal by one of his 12 to the group. He loves his betrayer to the end giving him every opportunity to repent and believe. He also expresses his pain in light of Psalm 41.B. Psalm 41:9--Connection to John 13:Jesus applies Psalm 41:9 to Judas. Just as David experienced betrayal from a trusted friend, so does the Son of David.John presents it not as coincidence but as fulfillment of Scripture (13:18). Judas' betrayal shows Jesus is the greater David, suffering the righteous one's fate.Key difference: David prayed for deliverance from his enemies; Jesus embraces betrayal as part of the Father's plan to glorify Him through the cross.II. Love's Demand (31-35)Judas walks in darkness. Jesus willingly let him knowing it will lead to the cross. This willing obedience that will require infinite suffering will bring the Father glory and Jesus glory. It will also bring infinite good to those who trust and follow Jesus. The demand of love is that we love each other as Jesus loved his disciples and loved us.Last week we saw Jesus' love for his disciples exemplified in the washing of their feet. He called them to do this to/for one another. He continues this theme of light and love here.A. The Glory Revealed (31-32)B. The New Commandment Given (33-35) This "new commandment" is an expansion of his old command from Leviticus which said, "Love your neighbor as yourself."Love demands a new object: "one another" and not just your neighbor.BelieversA very diverse group of peopleMasters and slavesJews and GentilesMen and womenRich and poorGay and straightStrong and weakAnd yet the became a community of people held together by their love for God and each other. And this is how people knew they followed Jesus.Love demands a new means: "as I have loved you" not just as you love yourself. While it is admittedly difficult to love your neighbor as you love yourself, it's much more difficult to love others as Jesus loves us. (And maybe even harder to love each other this way)C. The Denial Predicted (36-38) Even our best intentions fail, but Jesus restores us by grace. Our weakness doesn't cancel His mission.III. Love's Denial (36-38) - Even our best intentions fail, but Jesus restores us by grace. Our weakness doesn't cancel His mission.CONCLUSIONBottom line: Even (Especially) in dark times, Jesus prepares us to shine together.King David was betrayed not only by his friend and chief advisor. I mean, you better trust your chief advisor. But he was betrayed by his son. You don't know pain until you've been betrayed by a close family member. (2 Samuel 15-17)“David felt the sting of Ahithophel's betrayal, but his greatest grief was for Absalom, his rebellious son. In the same way, Jesus felt the sting of Judas' kiss, but even more, He bore the grief of a whole world of lost children — and He went to the cross so that rebels could be restored as sons and daughters of God.”When darkness comes, we can hold on to his light and love as seen in:His sovereignty (He knows). His glory (He redeems suffering). His command (love one another). His grace (He restores the weak).Think of a time when you were betrayed. Picture them. Now, think about God's light and love:He knows about that and knew about that before you. He's sovereignly aware. He redeems suffering. He can work grace into your life in and through the suffering you experienced. He commands that you love them instead of hate; to forgive them and find healing for yourself. His grace restores the weak and brokenhearted. His grace is enough for you. Even in the darkest nights, Jesus prepares us not just to survive, but to shine — and to shine together.“Friends, this is how Jesus prepares us for what's next:He knows — nothing surprises Him.He redeems — suffering is never wasted. He commands — love one another deeply. He restores — even our failures can't stop His grace. So what's next for you? Start with loving one another, serving one another, shining together in His light. That's how we walk through dark days — not alone, but with Jesus, and with each other.”INVITATIONWhat about you? Peter puts it all in perspective in his first sermon:““Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”” Acts 2:36-39 NIVHow do we respond? Answer 2 questions:Take out a card or piece of paper right now. Write down the answer to these questions: What is God saying to me right now? What am I going to do about it? Write this down on a sheet of paper. What I hear you saying, Lord, is ___________________.[my name] is going to believe/do __________________________________________________ as a result. Finally, share this with your Home or Mission group this week when you gather as a testimony about what God is doing in your life. You don't have to get too specific to give him praise.Lord's Supper, 1 Cor 11:23-26 is good passage. Also, say something like, "Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again." It's Friday, September 12th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Chinese pastor dies after years of persecution After enduring years of persecution, Pastor Zhao Huaiguo, founder of Bethel Church in Hunan, China, has died, leaving behind a legacy of faith and resilience, reports International Christian Concern. In 2007, Pastor Zhao relocated to Hunan to establish Bethel Church, with a focus on serving elderly Christians and those who had previously avoided the Communist Party-sanctioned Three-Self Patriotic Movement churches. Since Bethel Church's founding, Pastor Zhao and his wife have faced relentless attacks. In 2019, authorities raided Bethel Church, confiscated Bibles, destroyed property, and pressured members to join the Three-Self movement. Then, in November 2024, Zhao and his wife were detained for 10 days for delivering unsanctioned online training. Pastor Zhao died in his early 50s. Revelation 2:10b says, “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown.” Former Brazilian President Bolsonaro sentenced to 27 years in prison On September 11th, a panel of the Brazilian Supreme Court sentenced former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years in prison after convicting him of attempting to overthrow the government following his loss in the country's 2022 election, reports The Epoch Times. Prosecutors charged Bolsonaro with five counts, including an attempted coup, being part of an armed criminal organization, attempted violent abolition of democratic rule of law, damage characterized by violence, and a serious threat against the state's assets and deterioration of listed heritage. Bolsonaro has denied any involvement and said that he is the target of political persecution under the administration of his former competitor, Brazilian President Luiz Lula. Trump honors the power of prayer In the United States, President Donald Trump announced the “America Prays” initiative in preparation for the country's 250th birthday next year. The White House is asking if one million Americans can dedicate one hour a week to praying for the U.S. Listen to comments that President Trump gave this week at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. TRUMP: “So, America has always been a nation that believes in the power of prayer. And we will never apologize for our faith, ever, ever, never, never. We will never surrender our God-given rights. We will defend our liberties, our values, our sovereignty, and we will defend our freedom.” DHS to offer $110 million of security to Christian groups The Department of Homeland Security awarded $110 million in security grants to faith-based organizations last month. The move came just a week before the deadly mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A Senior Department of Homeland Security official said, “DHS is laser-focused on ensuring the safety of the American people. Instead of using grant money to fund climate change initiatives and political pet projects, we are using this money to protect American communities—especially places where people gather in prayer.” Charlie Kirk's assassin's cartridges contained ‘transgender” ideology Law enforcement have found a rifle near the Utah Valley University campus where conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10th. The cartridges were all “engraved” with expressions of “transgender and anti-fascist ideology,” reports LifeSiteNews.com. On Thursday morning, Steven Crowder posted to X an exclusively obtained email from the American Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) which shared internal findings about the weapon used by Kirk's yet-unidentified assassin. The ATF message said, “The suspect fired one shot from an elevated position on a rooftop in an adjacent building on the campus and surveillance video shows the suspect jumping off and fleeing the area on foot.” Law enforcement, including ATF, “located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus,” in a location that “appears to match the suspect's route of travel. The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top-fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology.” One person at the scene reported that when he was shot, Kirk had been speaking about “how many trans mass shooters there have been.” Appearing on Fox News, former FBI Agent Stuart Kaplan provided his analysis. KAPLAN: “This assassination was a very well planned, very well-orchestrated plot that was put in motion days before. This individual had a plan of escape, to elude detection of being out up on a rooftop, and also being able to evade and elude law enforcement after that shot was taken. This assassination of Charlie Kirk, to me, is indicative of a professional hit.” Charlie Kirk wanted to be remembered for his courage and faith On the Iced Coffee Hour podcast, Charlie Kirk was once asked a provocative question. HOST: “How do you want to be remembered?” KIRK: “If I die?” HOST: “Everything just goes away. How would you, if you could be associated with one thing, how would you want to be remembered?” KIRK: “I want to be remembered for, for courage for my faith. That would be the most important thing. Most important thing is my faith in my life.” How Charlie Kirk shared Christ with an atheist student Charlie Kirk, an evangelical Christian, spent most of his time on college campuses having dialogue with students with whom he disagreed. As you can hear from this exchange, recorded some time ago, he did not hesitate to share Christ. STUDENT: “Are you a Christian by any chance?” KIRK: “Very, very much.” STUDENT: So, like, why is that exactly?” KIRK: “Oh, Jesus saved my life. I'm a sinner, gave my life to Christ, most important decision I ever made.” STUDENT: “So, you believe the Bible is real?” KIRK: “Yes, I believe the Bible is true and real.” STUDENT: “Why is that?” KIRK: “Well, I could give you the technical answer. There's never been an archeological discovery that has contradicted the truth of the Bible. And then, of course, the wisdom. There is not a truth of the Bible, that if you apply to your life, your life does not improve it dramatically. “And then finally, we have the most accurate and transparent, historically robust account that one can have, of the most important figure ever to live in the history of the world: Jesus of Nazareth. And the resurrection is the pinpoint of my belief that Jesus did rise from the grave so that we may live.” STUDENT: “What makes Christian mythology real?” KIRK: “So, that's not mythology, but that is theology. If Genesis 1:1 and the resurrection is true, anything in the Bible is possible. You're looking at the greatest miracle. The greatest miracle is creation, and then the fact that Jesus rose from the dead. And I say, ‘How do you know that Jesus rose from the dead?' “Well, show me another historical piece of a story where so many people willingly died a brutal death for a lie. Every single person around Him had everything to lose, and yet they went to the absolute death, from Paul to Peter to James, saying that, ‘Jesus is Lord. Jesus rose from the dead.' “Not to mention, if you were gonna fake a story, you would not use female witnesses in the ancient world. In the Scriptures, it said that the women were the first ones to see Jesus Christ. If you're trying to fake a story, you would never do that.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1 was no doubt on the heart of Charlie Kirk as he shared his faith so publicly and so boldly. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored.” Charlie Kirk urged young people to come to Christ In one of Charlie Kirk's final X posts this past Saturday, he wrote, "Jesus defeated death so you can live,” reports Fox News. Kirk was a significant figure who inspired millions of high school and college students not only to become engaged politically, but to consider the claims of Jesus Christ and live lives guided by faith. Turning Point has a branch focused purely on faith, called Turning Point Faith, "dedicated to empowering Christians to put their faith into action." Pastor Rob McCoy, who is founder of Godspeak Calvary Chapel and the co-chair of Turning Point Faith, said Charlie Kirk called him his pastor but that he prefers to be known as his “friend and greatest fan.” Pastor McCoy said, "Charlie never used violence but was threatened every day with violence by those who couldn't contend with logic and truth — and now they have done to my friend what evil always does. It takes away life." McCoy said, "Charlie did not die. Instead, he has begun to truly live. His life was secured eternally by his Savior, Jesus Christ. This truth allowed Charlie to face every threat with courage because he didn't fear death." Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” McCoy added, "All evil knows is death, and they derive power from death. Charlie lived for life and will be remembered for this. My heart is broken for his family — his wife Erika and his two precious children. Evil has not prevailed, and it will not win." American conservative social media activist Robby Starbuck said “Charlie's greatest achievement is talking about God to young people during a time when too many were afraid to do that. The result has been a revival on college campuses all over the nation. It's our responsibility to carry on [Charlie's] work now." pWotD Episode 3053: Charlie Kirk Welcome to popular Wiki of the Day, spotlighting Wikipedia's most visited pages, giving you a peek into what the world is curious about today. With 14,954,133 views on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 our article of the day is Charlie Kirk.Charles James Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was an American right-wing political activist, author, and media personality. He co-founded the conservative organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 and was its executive director. He was the chief executive officer (CEO) of Turning Point Action (TPAction) and a member of the Council for National Policy (CNP). The Washington Post described him as "one of the most prominent voices on the right" in his later years.Kirk was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs of Arlington Heights and Prospect Heights, Illinois. In high school, Kirk actively engaged in politics, supporting Republican candidate Mark Kirk (no relation) and his U. S. Senate campaign, as well as campaigning against a price increase in his school's cafeteria. He briefly attended Harper College before dropping out to pursue political activism full-time, influenced by Tea Party member Bill Montgomery. In 2012, Kirk founded TPUSA, a conservative student organization that quickly grew with backing from donors like Foster Friess.Kirk expanded the organization's influence through initiatives like the Professor Watchlist and School Board Watchlist, which sought to fire or silence professors for sharing opinions opposed by Turning Point. Critics called this a form of modern day McCarthyism. In 2019, Kirk founded Turning Point Action, a political advocacy arm, and later, with Pentecostal pastor Rob McCoy, formed Turning Point Faith—aimed at mobilizing religious communities on conservative issues. Kirk hosted The Charlie Kirk Show, a conservative talk radio program. A key ally of Donald Trump, Kirk promoted conservative and Trump-aligned causes. He received criticism for a variety of controversial statements, especially regarding his opposition to gun control, abortion, LGBTQ rights, his criticism of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr., and his promotion of Christian nationalism, COVID-19 misinformation, false claims of electoral fraud in 2020, and the Great Replacement conspiracy theory. In September 2025, Kirk was shot and killed at the age of 31 while speaking at a TPUSA event on the campus of Utah Valley University (UVU), as part of his long-running public debate events at higher education institutions across the United States. The shooting received international attention and condemnation. This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 06:16 UTC on Thursday, 11 September 2025.For the full current version of the article, see Charlie Kirk on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Joey.

The Bible speaks to every significant issue we face in life, but how does this play out in our everyday life? Should Christians vote or be involved with politics? How should a Christian be influential in culture? In this message, Pastor Andy speaks on how you can make a difference and live out a policy driven life with a foundation of Biblical worldview. You will also hear special insight on this topic from Lucas Miles with Turning Point Faith.

Much of the cultural decadence in our land can be placed at the foot of those in authority who have failed to act. That could be pastors or elected officials. Pastor John Amanchukwu of Turning Point Faith has some strong language for those in authority that are failing to protect children, specifically in public school libraries. Anyone in authority who fails to keep that filth out of the hands of children is either a punk or a pervert, there is no other way to see it. They are either cowards or pedophiles. Pastor John shares his story of growing up in North Carolina and meeting his wife, whose father discipled him and introduced him to conservative politics and the idea of biblical faith being manifested in the political realm. Buckle up, this one is a doozy! When former Olympian Anthony Watson stepped into our studio, the energy was palpable. His journey from the warmth of Jamaica to the icy tracks of skeleton racing is more than just a story of athletic prowess; it's a testament to the tenacity of the human spirit. Today's conversation took unexpected turns, delving into the very real and pressing issues of how pornography affects our youth and the hard-earned victories over addiction through a life anchored in Christ. Anthony's candidness offers a beacon of hope for those wrestling with similar challenges. Our dialogue took a reflective shift as we explored the current influence of Gen Z on the church. The give and take between maintaining core scriptural values and adapting to the digital age is a dance that both the church and individuals are learning. I shared my own path to discovering my identity within the embrace of faith, the pitfalls of insincere living, and how the church can act as a compass for young people searching for authenticity in a sea of online facades. The episode is rich with the wisdom of those who have walked through fire and emerged with a message of enduring truth and discipline. In the episode's closing moments, we touched upon the transformative ability of adversity to shape our lives and how it can deepen our relationship with God. Comparing my experiences to biblical figures like Paul, we acknowledged the universal struggles that we all face and the profound ways in which collective worship can unite and uplift communities. Wrapping up, I invite listeners to consider the lasting impact of purpose-driven living and my continued commitment to mentoring youth, ensuring that the next generation is empowered to overcome life's obstacles through faith. But he claimed that it could. President Biden almost fell down the stairs over the weekend... Again. Should Airforce One just let Biden use the evacuation slide? Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Faith hosted over a thousand pastors in Nashville, Tennessee uniting them around "tyrannical" COVID restrictions and the belief that the Church is under attack in America. Sponsored by Turning Point Faith, Seth kicks off his national White Rose Resistance LIVE Tour at Life Church Noblesville in Indiana! Tracing the thread of ideas from the 19th century to today, Seth exposes the eugenic, racist, and demonic obsession that "progressives" have always had at obliterating and eliminating those they deemed "unfit" to live. Seth provides an exposé on Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, the likes of which you've never heard before. Building out the scaffolding of her life, Seth carefully connects the philosophical puzzle pieces of Sanger's life to build a picture you'll wish you could unsee. From Malthusianism to population control to birth control, to eugenics, to "reproductive healthcare," it's the same evil idea throughout: some people are good and some people are bad; we need more of the good people and less of the "bad" people. Concluding with a tragic lesson of history, Seth reminds the Church that these "culture wars" were really "proxy wars" against the Creator and the Imago Dei and unless we resist and take action immediately, that "culture war" will eventually wipe us out as well. Telling the story of The White Rose Resistance, Seth reminds us that all is not lost and we can learn from heroes of the faith and fulfill their legacy NOW! For this week's Sunday Episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, we're bringing you a conversation Charlie had with someone who has been a foundational influence on the direction of this show, one of America's foremost historical scholars and a man who knows more about the Christian structure of our founding than anyone, Bill Federer. They discuss the state of our union as it stands today, how our Founders envisioned the way society would operate, and how—by turning an eye back to their documents, statements, and intentions—could save America from eternal ruin. They also discuss the drama between Whoopi Goldberg, The View, and Turning Point, the Activist Media's role in America's decline, and much more throughout this extensive and enlightening conversation brought to you by Turning Point Faith, live from Dream City Church in Phoenix, Arizona.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Seth joins Freedom House Church in Charlotte, NC for their Turning Point Faith Freedom Night. Exposing the evil nature of the "abortion-rights" movement, Seth quotes their major leaders who have all admitted that the unborn baby is a human being, but employ the same tactics of dehumanization that nazis and racists did by creating a litmus test for "personhood." Seth then explains how that litmus test for who is and isn't a person ends up destroying human equality for all human beings. Ending with a powerful story from Nazi Germany, Seth calls the Church to ACTION and asks what will happen if we miss this Kairos moment for LIFE and continue in our apathy. Joined by Pastor Troy and Penny Maxwell and former NFL player Frank Garcia for a panel discussion and Q&A, Seth explains the very ancient and dangerous heresy that undergirds both the transgender and pro-abortion movement. The panel then discusses the war on the family as a proxy war against God and what we all can do to stand for TRUTH in this moment! A Turning Point Faith chapter, Freedom House partnered with Love Life to preach, to fast, to pray, and to mobilize their congregation for a prayer walk outside of the busiest abortion center in the southeast. Preaching the day before the 78th anniversary of D-Day, Seth tells the story of the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy without any weapons and implores the Church to find their place on that beach. With June 2022 expected to be the final month of Roe v. Wade, Seth explains the 3 things the Church must grasp in this turning point for LIFE. Seth equips the Church with the intellectual and spiritual tools we need to END ABORTION and help usher in a new BIRTH of freedom in America. Talking today with Reagan Scott on how many Christian churches have become overly-politicized. This is due in large part to pastors on both sides of the political aisle partnering with political organizations and leveraging their platform/captive audience for political gain rather than preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. My audience will be aware of this practice in liberal-leaning churches over the last couple years, but today Reagan and I focus on how more recently, we've seen this phenomenon in conservative Christian churches, due in some part thanks to organizations like Turning Point USA's new program "Turning Point Faith" which aims to go into temples, mosques and churches to get people to register to vote, start chapters within youth groups and 'activate their faith in the public square.' We discuss the danger of this ecumenical movement to sharing the true gospel of Jesus Christ. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kindledpodcast/support
Charlie speaks LIVE from Phoenix, AZ at Dream City Church at Turning Point Faith's monthly Freedom Square gathering and welcomes Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA. Charlie asks Pastor Gary how he awakened to the need for churches to get engaged in the public square and how that internal process for him as a pastor and as a church community came to a head in November of 2021 with the election of Republican Glenn Youngkin as the next governor of Virginia. What changed Pastor Gary's perspective on the role of the church in policy and politics? How did he activate his congregation to participate in a very hands on way? Most importantly, how can you replicate what Cornerstone Chapel has accomplished all across the nation.
