What if the toughest battles aren't fought in stadiums, but in the shadows of a broken childhood? In this profoundly moving episode, Fatima Whitbread shares a story that goes far beyond athletic triumph—it's one of survival, courage, and an unyielding spirit. Born into abandonment and forced to navigate the brutal realities of the care system, Fatima's early years were a battle against neglect, trauma, and profound loneliness. But from the ashes of her childhood emerged something remarkable: an iron will and a resilience that would not be crushed.Fatima opens up about the inner demons she faced, the darkness that nearly consumed her, and the life-changing influence of two incredible women—Auntie Ray and, later, Margaret Whitbread—who gave her the family she never knew. This isn't just a sports story; it's a testament to the power of the human spirit. It's about how, when pushed to the edge, we can rise not only for ourselves but for those generations who follow. From setting world records to standing on countless podiums and becoming a world champion, Fatima reflects on her greatest battles, which were not fought on the athletic field but within herself and traumas faced. Today, through her advocacy, she's using her platform to champion the rights of children in the care system—children, like her, who deserve a chance to rewrite their own stories.Timestamps:00:00 – Where It All Began01:28 – Life Beyond Sport02:52 – Inside the Children's Homes05:48 – The Power of Love09:42 – Confronting Trauma15:47 – Discovering Javelin21:11 – Becoming a Whitbread23:30 – Campaigning for Change29:16 – Early Training29:43 – Breaking Barriers30:26 – World Records & Olympic Dreams31:09 – The Weight of Triumph31:47 – Facing Mental Health Challenges33:48 – Navigating the Darkest Moments34:34 – The Pressure of Media & Writing Her Story39:07 – The Olympic Journey44:45 – Making Her Voice Count45:04 – From Athlete to TV Star51:43 – Legacy56:46 – Final ThoughtsThis isn't just a story of sporting success—it's an exploration of what it means to persevere, to push through adversity, and to transform suffering into strength. One would expect a message entitled “Where It All Began” to be filmed in Bethlehem. However, in this message, Amir Tsarfati focuses instead on Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew up. Why Nazareth? Why did Jesus come at the time He did? And what was His game-changing message that was so necessary for the world to hear? In his teaching, “Where It All Began”, Amir answers these questions, even as he reminds us that salvation does not come from religion, but only through a personal, intimate relationship with the Messiah.

The UK economy is failing – Whichever way the government make it look or sound. Start by checking out this FREE Download https://driverfunnel.clickfunnels.com/pt Avoid The Pitfalls - Downlead The bottom line is that its going down hill, and going fast! Why? What happened to put us in this position and what can we do to help ourselves in the current economy crisis? Where It All Began? It all started back in 2019 when the UK was slow to react to the pandemic. This forced the whole of the UK to go into lockdown. LOCKDOWN!!! How crazy was that? Business were forced to close their doors and stop trading with no choose, because it was illegal to open. This is where it all began……… A number of company's not just in the UK, but all over the world suffered because of this. They had no other option but to cease trading because the money had just run out. However the government decided to create a bounce back loan. For a businesses that did manage to reopen, they were given money to help them get back on their feet. A life line, there was light at the end of the tunnel at last.✨ The UK in 2020 itself was in £2069 billion pounds worth of debt already. How the hell they pulled that one off – god knows. Then came along another challenge. The War in Ukraine. I personally went out to Poland to take some supplies to the people of Ukraine. Along the way I met so many people from all over the world pulling together to help as much as they could. Credit to the human race for that. But back the UK economy crisis for now. Why did the war in Ukraine effect the UK? It didn't just effect the UK. It effected the whole world. Because of who Ukraine is at war with – Russia. Typically Norway is the largest supplier of gas to the UK. But Russia does contribute to it too. Cutting out the trading with Russia has boosted the fuel prices sky high. This had a knock on effect with the logistics of transport of goods all over the UK. Boosting the price of everything up, even food in the supermarkets. The Cost Of Fuel With most of our vehicles in the UK being powered by fuel, you can understand why company's had to cover the costs. It's the big company's such as BP, Shell and British Gas only went and rubbed the population of the UK nose in it by announcing the tripling profits it made from the price increase. It really does feel like there is a separation of classes in the world, when the already rich and wealthy make even more money. When the people who nurse us back to health, teach our children in schools and the workmen who build houses for us to live in, struggle to pay the bills. It's a no win situation for the UK to be in. Imagine if 10k people decided not to pay their energy bills. What would happen? You would be cut off, then freeze to death Someone would be employed to collect the debt from you. There would be 100s of court cases all over the UK. Who will be paying the judges and the court fees – Your tax money. Now I understand that running a country is a tough job, this is why we have had a number of Prime ministers quit when the going get tough already. But come on! There is defiantly a batter solution to the current one we have. The cost of living in the UK is going up, not slowly like it has don't over the years. Rapidly – so fast that the current wages that people are paid don't anywhere near support their current life style. We jump through all the hopes we are told to. Go to school and get a good education Attend university with a government loan Struggle to find a job because all your experience and qualifications are text book. Finally get a job and start a family of your own With the saving you have, because you studied hard and worked your way up the corporate ladder, maybe have a holiday a year Say goodbye to that one holiday a year you looked forward to. Now there's a choice, holiday or heating! After the announcement of 45 billion pounds of unfunded tax cuts the British pound to fall to it lowest level ever against the US dollar. Disrupting the markets and forcing the bank of England to react with higher interest rates even more. Whos Fault Is The UK Economy Crisis From a government that is less than a few weeks, been in charge. You would think they would want to make a good first impression instead of the complete opposite. Its though by a lot of people that all this will push the UK into recession. Really? Do you not think we are there already? After everything that's going on with the UK Economy and the state it in, I struggle to believe that there's much we can do about it. Plan For The Future Of The UK Economy Something that has always stuck with me is Fail to Plan – Plan to fail. So you need to come up with a plan to thrive when all this plays it course. Don't limit yourself to the UK economy getting better. With the internet at our finger tips with have the opportunity to be able to build a business that can acquire customers from all over the world. With being able to make money online from anywhere in the world you will be less effected by the state of the UK economy. Lets be honest, its not looking like it going to get any better anytime soon. Start by checking out this FREE Download Avoid The Pitfalls - Downlead The download is 100% free. Give it a read and see how you can come out of this recession on top.

“It's extremely hard to be in this fame bubble, where you're looked after, to then just be tossed out… A while after I had some counselling about it all, I just felt like a failure.”Today my guest is the incredibly creative Belinda Chapple, who rose to fame in the early noughties as a member of all-female Australian pop group, Bardot. In late 1999, at the age of 24, Chapple auditioned for the first Australian series of reality TV talent competition, Popstars, landing her dream job in a girl band. However, Belinda had been in entertainment since she was just 13, having spent her teenage years singing and dancing at the Johnny Young Talent School (Australian listeners may remember the related TV Show Young Talent Time, which was a launching pad for several Australian performers, such as Dannii Minogue.) and then as a touring singer and dancer for shows across Asia. Bardot exploded on to the Australian music scene and became one of the most iconic girl bands in Australian history but after just 2.5 years the band dissolved, which proved to be one of the hardest times in Belinda's life. Belinda went on to launch two singles on her own, including Where It All Began, which became the anthem for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens but a solo career just wasn't meant to be. “The hardest part for me was putting my passions away, my song and dance,” she says. “I found myself on stage thinking about my washing, I was on auto-pilot.” We talk about what it was like for Belinda to step away from the limelight to work behind the scenes and how that led to a new career in interior design. The influence travel has had on her career and interior design business Living across three different countries; Australia, Marbella and SingaporeUsing singing as a form of meditation Moving on after the pandemic Find out more about House of Chapple Interiors at houseofchappleinteriors.com and on Instagram @houseofchappleinteriors. Welcome to episode two. In this episode, I will talk about the beginning of my real estate journey which began over 30 years ago. I will touch on: What caused my curiosity in real estate What I did initially to learn about real estate A little about my first couple of deals And transitioning to where I am today - continuing to buy but also working with agents and other investors Where It All Began… I first became interested in real estate as a teenager. Even in high school, I knew I wanted to generate income, but back then I didn’t realize it was in a passive manner. Doing my research led me to real estate. I can recall reading books on the subject by both investors and developers. I had always thought money was generated in exchange for time. But I wanted to learn how to make money without spending all of those hours. With real estate, I learned that I would be able to achieve the profits I was after without the time commitment. I discovered I could buy one house, rent it out, and have the tenants pay it off for me. Once the house was paid off, it would be instant income. I would be creating assets for myself that others paid off. I learned how to leverage assets, always making sure the income was much greater than the expenses. How I Started… After high school, I joined the military. Investing in real estate wasn’t really an option for me as I was deployed, off somewhere on a ship, not able to close the deals I wanted to. I didn’t have the time to complete the tasks that would be required to close deals. During this time, I continued to read. I went to seminars, and I learned all I could. I learned enough to be dangerous. My first property purchase happened in the late 80’s during the S&L Crisis. It was a condominium in Pensacola. I was familiar with the area, having lived and trained there while in the military. I enjoyed going there so the purchase seemed like a no-brainer. I had good credit and was able to take over the loan, with little money down. I was able to quickly find a renter, and from there things were easy. It was a great property, in fact, I wish I still had it! My second property was a different story. I was also stationed in San Diego during my time in the military. I thought maybe I should reach out to the “We Buy Houses” guys, hoping to work with them on a deal. I had some money saved up and eventually made a deal with a wholesaler. His team fixed up the property, but meanwhile, the market was shifting. I was in over my head, with a property I never should have become involved with. My lack of experience and success of my first deal led me to believe the second deal would go the same way. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I lost about 9k on that deal, which was a big chunk of money at the time. It’s still a big chunk of money today! The lesson here was that if you don’t have money or if you don’t have the education behind you, don’t get ahead of yourself with a property you aren’t ready for. It was a difficult lesson learned, all a part of what has got me to where I am today. These days, I am still buying, but I also focus on working with other investors and real estate agents. I believe there are a lot of positives to these relationships and opportunities for all parties to be successful. If you are interested in working with me or would like to learn more about creating a lifestyle that doesn’t require your presence, go to my website at: bensouchek.com
