The How To Be...Books Podcast is an absolute gem for anyone seeking thoughtful and inspiring discussions about what it means to be human. Hosted by Suswati Basu, this podcast is reminiscent of true classics like "On Being," where books and authors serve as a jumping-off point for engaging conversations that are refreshingly open and alive. I especially appreciate the way Basu leverages her background as a journalist and her perspective as a feminist, British, and South Asian to ask important questions that delve into various aspects of the human condition.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Basu's skillful hosting. Her thoughtful and inspiring premise sets the tone for each episode, inviting listeners into self-reflection and exploration. She tackles subjects with depth and sensitivity, effortlessly guiding conversations towards deeper meaning and understanding. Her interviewing style brings out the best in her guests, creating an atmosphere that nurtures genuine dialogue. It's evident that she has carefully curated a diverse range of authors, coaches, experts, and thought leaders who lend their insights to topics related to mind, body, soul, personal growth, and wellbeing.

Moreover, The How To Be...Books Podcast does an exceptional job at making important discussions around mental health accessible to everyone. The messages conveyed throughout the episodes are uplifting, motivating, and capable of inspiring real change in listeners' lives. Basu addresses a wide range of topics that touch upon improving one's lifestyle in holistic ways. It's commendable how she covers these topics succinctly without sacrificing depth or substance. The podcast strikes a perfect balance between being informative yet easy to listen to.

While there isn't much to criticize about this podcast, one potential improvement could be the frequency of episodes released. As a fan of this show, I find myself eagerly awaiting new episodes each week because the content is consistently insightful and enriching. However, increasing the frequency would allow listeners to indulge in even more wisdom from Basu and her talented guests.

In conclusion, The How To Be...Books Podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking authentic discussions on personal growth, wellbeing, and the human experience. Suswati Basu's ability to foster open and alive conversations sets this podcast apart from others in the genre. Her thoughtful approach as a journalist and feminist adds depth to each episode. The show's positive messages are presented in an uplifting and motivating manner that can truly inspire change in listeners' lives. I highly recommend tuning in to this podcast and eagerly look forward to more episodes in the future.
