In recent years, we have seen heated debate in this country around the CBC and its future. With the question of defunding no longer looming, it is a good time to pause, to look back at where our national public broadcaster has been, and to talk through where it might go from here. Our guest on today's program is veteran CBC producer who has written an insightful and well-researched new book about the institution — and where he thinks it went wrong.David Cayley is a Canadian author and broadcaster. For thirty years, he made documentaries for the CBC Radio show Ideas. His latest book is The CBC: How Canada's Public Broadcaster Lost Its Voice (And How to Get It Back). You can find Tara Henley on Twitter at @TaraRHenley, and on Substack at tarahenley.substack.com

What if the essence of Judaism was never meant to be about behavior alone, but about dveykus, a deep soul-level connection to the Divine? That is what this conversation is about. In this episode of In Search of More, I sit down with Rabbi Doniel Katz, founder of the Elevation Project, who has been on a mission to revive the spiritual technologies of Torah that most of us were never taught. Doniel is not interested in making Judaism more modern or palatable. He is trying to make it real again. To bring back the tools like meditation, breathwork, and inner refinement that our tradition always had but buried out of fear, trauma, and exile. We talk about what dveykus actually means, not a vague spiritual buzzword but a lived experience of radical presence and attachment to God. We explore how Judaism lost that fire and how Elevation is working to restore it. Doniel has faced pushback, even being called a heretic and written off by segments of the ultra-Orthodox world who would rather preserve the image of holiness than wrestle with what holiness really demands. Together we dig into how to navigate criticism without alienating supporters and how to stay focused on the mission instead of getting lost in endless battles. One of the parts of our conversation that stayed with me was Doniel's take on psychedelics. While he stopped short of claiming they are found in Judaism as some suggest, he was willing to explore the role these experiences might play in the larger search for the Divine. Hearing that from someone so rooted in Torah made me pause and consider how broad and inclusive our spiritual conversations can really be.For me this was not only an interview but also a mirror. I walked away asking myself how much of my own energy goes into fighting battles instead of building what I set out to build. That is why I believe this episode will challenge you, not just to think differently about Judaism, but to reflect on your own search for more.See you on the other side,Eli

SummaryIn this ATX DAO Podcast roundtable edition, Christopher and Angle join to unpack one of crypto's toughest questions: Has the industry lost its soul, and can it get it back? From Bitcoin's origin story to meme coin mania and the rise of institutional players, the conversation pulls no punches. The crew explores how blockchain has strayed from its ideals, whether Web3 gaming is more than a gimmick, and what it will take to build systems that serve people instead of just pumping bags. The episode also digs into the pitfalls of hype cycles, the collapse of trust in tokenized projects, and the reality that most “decentralized” systems still rely on centralized infrastructure. But it's not all doom and gloom. From Quai Network's energy-backed currency concept to the promise of games like Off the Grid, they explore what might be possible if the culture can reset. Whether you're jaded, curious, or still holding onto the dream, this one is worth a listen.Chapters00:00 Introduction07:57 The Evolution of Crypto and Bitcoin's Role12:47 Bitcoin vs. Altcoins: Perspectives and Analogies17:45 Web 3 Gaming: Opportunities and Challenges24:53 Balancing Rarity and Gameplay in Web3 Gaming29:23 Scarcity and Ownership in Digital Games34:58 The Shift in Crypto's Purpose: From Sovereignty to Speculation43:20 Innovative Concepts: Energy-Based Currency and Beyond48:14 Community Building in the Blockchain SpaceConnect with us on X (Twitter):Angle: @quetzalcapChristopher: @ChristopherNFGG | @QuaiNetworkLuke: @Luke152Check out our friends at Tequila 512:Website: https://www.tequila512.comSocials: X (Twitter) | Instagram | TikTok | FacebookTo learn more about ATX DAO:Check out the ATX DAO websiteFollow @ATXDAO on X (Twitter)Subscribe to our newsletterConnect with us on LinkedInJoin the community in the ATX DAO DiscordSupport the Podcast:If you enjoyed this episode, please leave us a review and share it with your network.Subscribe for more insights, interviews, and deep dives into the world of Web 3.
If you want to get leaner and live longer, check out https://milliondollarbodylabs.com/ What if your low energy, poor sleep, and lack of drive aren't just signs of getting older… but signs that you've stopped taking care of yourself? In this episode, I talked with Ali Gilbert, a coach who works with men on their health, hormones, and habits. We got into why so many men feel like they've lost their edge and why it's not just about testosterone. It's about stress, poor recovery, and not asking for help until things get worse. We covered what really causes low sex drive, how stress and past experiences can affect performance, and why some men feel stuck trying to live up to an outdated idea of masculinity. Ali shared what she sees with men in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who've spent years focused on work and family, only to realize their health has taken a back seat. We also ran through common myths about testosterone and which methods actually help. Key Takeaways: Masculinity doesn't mean hiding your emotions Low sex drive and energy are often signs of stress, not just low testosterone You can't lead, protect, or provide at your best if your health is falling apart. From her groundbreaking work on infidelity to her insights on maintaining passion in long-term partnerships, Esther shares the wisdom that has helped millions navigate the tension between security and excitement in love. We explore Esther's core philosophy that desire is not something you have—it's something you cultivate. She breaks down the fundamental paradox of modern relationships: love seeks closeness and security, while desire craves space, novelty, and mystery. We discuss how to integrate these opposing forces and why the question "Can you want what you already have?" is central to sustaining passion over time. Esther reveals why eroticism is truly a state of mind, how pleasure connects directly to self-worth, and her revolutionary perspective on infidelity—that sometimes people don't go elsewhere to find another person, but to find another version of themselves. We also dive into her new card game "Where Should We Begin," designed to foster vulnerability and deep connection through storytelling. This conversation addresses the unrealistic expectations we place on one partner to be our everything, practical tools for managing relationship anxiety, and why modern love requires us to calibrate rather than abandon our expectations. Whether you're single, coupled, or somewhere in between, Esther's insights offer a roadmap for creating more authentic, passionate connections. Somewhere between deadlines, caregiving, and doing all the things… fun got lost. Not just the big, event-style fun — but the kind that makes you forget what time it is, that makes you laugh or relax without needing a reason, that reminds you who you are under all the responsibility. In this episode, I explore the real reasons fun feels so out of reach for so many women — and why adding more of it back into our lives is less about being silly, and more about reconnecting with presence, lightness, and joy. You'll hear from women who tried a weeklong “fun experiment,” what worked (and what didn't), and what we discovered about joy that surprised us all.Plus, I'll walk you through a simple thought process for bringing more lightness into your day — no vacation required.
In this powerful episode, Lindsey explores how eating disorders and food obsession act as "time thieves" and "energy vampires," stealing your presence from the moments and people that matter most. She shares the life-changing realization that when we don't sacrifice for what we ultimately want, we become the ultimate sacrifice - and our relationships pay the price. Key Takeaways
Hey friends, Chase here. Ever feel like your mind is all over the place? Emails. Notifications. News. Noise. We live in a world designed to hijack our attention, and it's working. Attention Is a Superpower In a world this noisy, your ability to focus isn't just helpful. It's everything. Viktor Frankl found purpose in the darkest of places by choosing where to direct his mind. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi discovered flow while surviving war by focusing on a single game of chess. Louis Zamperini endured torture by turning his attention toward faith and forgiveness. These weren't magic tricks. They were choices. Repeated. Intentional. Life-saving. What You Focus On Becomes Your Life Science backs it up. As Dr. Andrew Huberman says, “The ability to focus and direct one's attention is the distinguishing factor between those who will succeed and those who won't.” That's not just about work or goals. That's about everything. Your relationships. Your health. Your sense of self. Because attention doesn't just shape what you see. It shapes who you become. Train Your Attention Like Your Life Depends on It You don't have to escape to the mountains or delete every app on your phone. You just have to start noticing where your attention goes, and gently bring it back to what matters most. Ask yourself: What am I really focusing on right now? Is it helping me or draining me? What would happen if I chose differently? Your attention is yours. Don't give it away without a fight. Until next time, stay focused and stay free.
Most men don't realize what porn is actually costing them… until it's already showing up in their sex life, motivation, or relationships. *(And, you're not alone, I struggled with this too). I highly recommend listening if you've EVER questioned your use of or relationship with porn...
