Episode Summary In this episode of Wade Borth Podcast, Wade Borth and Beth Reich tackle one of the most common reactions people have when they first hear about Infinite Banking and whole life insurance strategies: "This sounds too good to be true." Wade breaks down why skepticism around alternative financial strategies is natural, while also challenging listeners to examine the traditional banking and retirement systems with the same level of scrutiny. The conversation explores the difference between guaranteed assets and speculative investments, the role of liquidity during economic downturns, and why education and intentionality are essential when making financial decisions. Throughout the episode, Wade emphasizes that Infinite Banking is not about chasing unrealistic returns—it's about building control, certainty, access to capital, and long-term financial flexibility. Beth provides the perspective of the everyday consumer, asking the questions many listeners are already thinking: What's the catch? What are the risks? Why doesn't everyone do this? The episode ultimately becomes a discussion about mindset, financial literacy, and the risks of inaction when it comes to personal wealth-building. 2026-04-19 | UPDATES #178 | This episode is about how Russia Is building the infrastructure to seize control of every rouble, every account, every transaction, from its population to fuel Putin's pointless war. Russia's population are waking up to the reality that their money is not their money. Their property is not their property. Their resources are not their resources. Everything is on loan from the state – retention of all these is conditional upon their loyalty and compliance. What's expected of them is indifference to politics in peacetime and unreasonable sacrifice, without question in wartime. Their lives are not their lives. And finally, many are discovering that their country is not their country, it's a territory ruled, and owned, by a class of people that don't give a damn about their squeals of indignation and outrage at privileges revoked. This is an object lesson for the West too. We may complain about our governments, our politicians, infrastructure and institutions. But things can always be worse, especially if we lose sight of hope, stop believing in progress, and deny our political agency as individuals. Russia shows what happens where there is no rule of law, no moral or political limits on executive power, no concept of the inviolability of property, rights or possessions. ----------SUPPORT THE CHANNEL:https://www.buymeacoffee.com/siliconcurtainhttps://www.patreon.com/siliconcurtainhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/scaling-up-campaign-to-fight-authoritarian-disinformation----------A REQUEST FOR HELP!I'm heading back to Kyiv next month, to film, do research and conduct interviews. Many top European bankers did not do themselves any favors when pressed on the private credit bust, preferring to hide behind semantics or deflect at every chance. One who stood out was Deutsch Bank's vice chair of global macro who bluntly stated if it wasn't for Iran the private credit crisis would be all anyone would be talking about right now. For whatever the political spin among the rest of them, European bank balance sheets don't lie. Wait until you see what they've been up to. Is the concern of stagflation putting downward pressure on bank stocks? The term stagflation was first used in 1965 by a British politician. A quick definition for an economy with stagflation is when there is slow economic growth, high unemployment, and high inflation. A scenario like that would put a strain on banks because as people lose their jobs one of the first things they stop paying on are consumer loans like credit cards and personal loans. Banks can also get squeezed because they may have locked in long-term loans at lower rates and because of high inflation, the Federal Reserve could increase short-term interest rates, which would compress margins. The banks also need meet certain liquidity requirements, which could hurt margins even more. On the bright side, this could be a buying opportunity to invest in banks since they are down roughly 9 to 10% since the beginning of the year. The reason I think this could be a good opportunity is manyfold. First off, the high oil prices that are currently causing inflation concerns appear to be a short-term problem and I believe they should start reversing by May or June. Second, employers have slowed down on hiring new people but are reluctant to let employees go because it's very costly to hire new employees. Third, the economy appears to still be doing well and consumers have already started receiving part of the $50-$60 billion in tax refunds from the Big Beautiful Bill, which should help with consumer spending. This is also the year where agreements from other countries to invest trillions of dollars into our economy should start taking place. In regard to the banks themselves, they're sitting in a pretty good situation with diversified businesses as your mega banks like JPMorgan and Bank of America have trading houses and global markets that are growing in the low double digits. Some banks expect mid-teens growth in the trading business. Some of the bankers have also said that demand for traditional commercial loans has been improving so far this year. In its most recent data, the Federal Reserve showed commercial industrial loans were up 5% year over a year, which is the largest increase since 2023. As always with investing, you should be looking out at least 2 to 3 years. One other perk is many banks pay a decent dividend around 2% to 2.5% Meta and YouTube get screwed in court I was very disappointed to see that a 20-year-old woman, who won in a California court, is set to receive a total of $6 million from Meta and YouTube. Her claim was she was addicted to social media, and it dominated her life for years, which caused mental health issues like anxiety and depression. I'm really getting tired of the legal system in California and the theatrics played by attorneys such as her attorney having a jar of 415 M&M's saying each M&M represented $1 billion of the near $400 billion in total stockholder equity when looking at Alphabets value. He began to remove one M&M at a time and demonstrated how taking out a few M&Ms did not change the weight of the jar. My feeling is this attorney should go to Hollywood and try to get an acting job. It is disappointing to see how no one wants to take accountability for their actions any longer. They want to blame somebody else and not take responsibility for the fact that she uploaded more than 200 YouTube videos before the age of 10 and had 15 Instagram accounts before she was 15. I do have to ask where were the parents? This could just be the beginning as there are 3000 other similar lawsuits against social media companies that are pending in California courts. I do believe there should be some changes made to the regulatory framework around social media, but this goes too far and is just in my opinion greed from attorneys and people trying to get a free ride. I was glad to see that both companies are appealing the decision, and this will likely continue to move up the court system and may land in the Supreme Court. Meta also lost a case in New Mexico this past week as jurors found that Meta willfully violated the state's unfair practices. The state's Attorney General claimed the company failed to properly safeguard its apps from online predators targeting children. It is disappointing to see the number of lawsuits that are going on in our country. Our country was not built on attorneys and lawsuits; it was built on people working hard and taking responsibility for their own actions. I do fear for my grandkids if we continue on this path and wonder what our country will look like in 30 or 40 years. When it comes to investing, I would be very careful in this space, as these cases could set a dangerous precedent for trials to come. There is also a federal trial set to begin this summer in the Northern District of California involving claims by school districts and parents nationwide that apps from Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Snap helped foster detrimental mental health-related harms to young users. Will higher gas prices hurt strong US car sales? Current US car sales are around 16 million on an annual basis, which is down from 2019 when they were 17 million, but overall, they are still very healthy. The car business has changed from low margin vehicles to more luxury vehicles with higher profit margins and the average price on a new car is now over $50,000. The car buyers themselves have changed with the average new vehicle buyer around 50 years old. This is seven years older than in the year 2000. It's no surprise, but because of the higher prices for cars, people earning over $150,000 a year account for 42% of the sales. Six years ago, it was just 29%. It was also reported that buyers who have incomes of $75,000 or less are no longer buying new cars because of the affordability. The higher gas prices do not seem to be affecting car sales at this point and according to the manufacturers, they are still saying the buyers remain resilient. However, if gas and oil prices remain at current levels that would then likely put a strain on car sales. Fortunately, at this time, based on many factors, I think by May or June we will start to see the easing of prices at the pump. Also helping US manufacturers is the deductible interest on cars made in the US. There are restrictions on this, but that does also help ease the pain with a little tax deduction. Also, since the President ended the tax credits for electric vehicles, US car manufacturers were able to scrap the losing endeavor of trying to build profitable EVs. With the stock prices for car manufacturers down around 9 to 10%, I believe the investment clouds should be clearing in the next couple of months and investors may have an opportunity to invest in a good US car manufacturer. It's important to remember that if you step in and buy here, you own a small piece of a large company and don't worry about the day to day volatility, you should be focusing on where that business will be at least 2-3 years down the road. Should crypto companies be allowed into the United States banking system? Unfortunately, Jonathan Gould, who is Comptroller of the Currency and is one of the country's most powerful bank regulators, believes so. He thinks it's a good idea to let firms like Ripple, Crypto.com and others in this area to become a trust bank. A trust bank is a little bit different than a normal bank because they don't take deposits or make loans and instead offer other services like safekeeping of various assets. An example of trust banks would be insurance companies and payroll processors. My concern is what the average consumer may think as they could believe that because it's a trust bank it is automatically insured by the federal government. This is a gray area as some trust banks can have insurance from the federal government, but they do not insure investments like stocks bonds, and cryptocurrencies. The Bank Policy Institute and other banks are against this because it is unclear what these crypto companies would do with bank charters. There is talk that some applicants may want access to the Federal Reserve payment rails, which would allow them to move money between digital currencies and the banking system. My concern is this could jeopardize the strength of our banking system and cause our federal government to be on the hook for some big financial liability in the years to come as some cryptocurrency drops dramatically or fails. Companies Discussed: DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. (DKS), Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY), Signet Jewelers Limited (SIG) & CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (CF)
Sometimes it helps to get beaten down by the system early so that lessons can be learned and strategies formed. After a career of selling mortgages to willing buyers, it took a wealthy hedge fund manager to explain that what he was actually selling was financial crack cocaine that the poor cannot afford, and the rich do not use.The pledge until death we have come to know as a mortgage has financially enslaved millions of Americans into debt bondage under the guise of helping them to afford to buy a home. Replace Your Mortgage founder Michael Lush has found a much better way. When done correctly, his strategy shaves the 30-year timeframe down by 80%, without additional payments, refinancing, or spending more money. It's not magic, it's just math, and the banks will never tell you about this.—Guest LinksMichael LushReplace Your Mortgage: www.WipeOutYourMortgageNow.com—Video ChannelsWatch the video version of Macroaggressions:Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/Macroaggressions YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@MacroaggressionsPodcastBrighteon: https://www.brighteon.com/channels/macroaggressions/—MACRO & Charlie Robinson LinksHypocrazy Audiobook: https://amzn.to/4aogwmsThe Octopus of Global Control Audiobook: https://amzn.to/3xu0rMmWebsite: www.Macroaggressions.ioMerch Store: https://macroaggressions.dashery.com/ Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/macroaggressionspodcast—Activist Post FamilySign up for the Activist Post Newsletter: https://activistpost.kit.com/emailsActivist Post: www.ActivistPost.comNatural Blaze: www.NaturalBlaze.com —Support Our SponsorsGround Luxe Grounding Mats: https://GroundLuxe.com/MACROReplace Your Mortgage: www.WipeOutYourMortgageNow.comC60 Power: https://go.ShopC60.com/PBGRT/KMKS9/ | Promo Code: MACROChemical Free Body: https://ChemicalFreeBody.com/macro/ | Promo Code: MACROWise Wolf Gold & Silver: https://Macroaggressions.Gold/ | (800) 426-1836LegalShield: www.DontGetPushedAround.comEMP Shield: www.EMPShield.com | Promo Code: MACROChristian Yordanov's Health Program: www.LiveLongerFormula.com/macroAbove Phone: https://AbovePhone.com/macro/Van Man: https://VanMan.shop/?ref=MACRO | Promo Code: MACROThe Dollar Vigilante: https://DollarVigilante.spiffy.co/a/O3wCWenlXN/4471Nesa's Hemp: www.NesasHemp.com | Promo Code: MACROAugason Farms: https://AugasonFarms.com/MACRO—
FEATURING: MICHAEL MCKIBBEN https://aim4truth.org/Today on Steel News, Ann Vandersteel welcomes technology pioneer and investigative researcher Michael T. McKibben, author of the explosive book “The Hidden Hand: Unraveling the Rothschilds and Israel.”McKibben argues that modern global banking networks did not originate in modern Europe—but in ancient merchant-banking systems stretching back thousands of years along the Silk Road. His research traces the development of Babylonian-style debt banking, taxation systems, and merchant banking networks through history and into the modern financial centers of power. From the City of London and Canary Wharf to the Pilgrims Society, Zionist finance networks, and modern intelligence institutions, McKibben presents a controversial thesis about the architecture of global power.Ann and Michael explore:• The origins of global merchant banking• The financial power of the City of London• The Pilgrims Society and transatlantic elite networks• The Balfour Declaration and British Zionism• How banking, intelligence, and media power intersect• Why the financial system still revolves around debt, war, and controlThis conversation asks the question:Who truly controls the modern financial system—and how far back does it go?This is Steel News where truth survives pressure.
Buying Term Life insurance rather than Whole Life insurance and then investing the difference of premium payments, became popularized financial advice in the 1970s and 1980s by AL Williams. Now today, 50 years later, this advice is still the cornerstone principal for many financial advisors including Dave Ramsey. Is Buy Term and Invest the difference the best option now? Whole Life insurance policies available today are different than 50 years ago, the market is always changing, is it time to revisit buying term and investing the difference? In this episode we compare buying term and investing the difference, vs buying high cash value designed whole life insurance. The results are pretty interesting. Listen and find out the details.

What emerges is a masterclass in identifying the subtle linguistic tricks that maintain public misunderstanding about how government finance actually works. The conversation begins with Christian's astute observation about the phrase 'the government *can* create money' - a seemingly innocent statement that actually perpetuates dangerous misconceptions. As the panel explores, there's a world of difference between saying the government 'can' create money versus acknowledging that it 'does' create money with every pound it spends. This distinction matters because it allows economists and pundits to maintain outdated frameworks whilst appearing to acknowledge MMT insights. Dr Armstrong brings his characteristic clarity to explaining the consolidated view of government and central bank operations, illustrating why all government spending necessarily involves money creation. Using vivid analogies - from goldfish that must swim in water to the government's unique relationship with the Bank of England - he demonstrates why currency-issuing governments are fundamentally different from currency users like households or businesses. The discussion then tackles the politically damaging notion that governments should only 'borrow to invest'. Patricia explains why this framing misunderstands the true function of deficits whilst inadvertently supporting neoliberal arguments for privatisation. The panel reveals how this seemingly progressive talking point actually reinforces the household analogy and hands ammunition to fiscal conservatives. In his analysis of the 'public debt time bomb' narrative, Phil turns conventional wisdom on its head by pointing out that if foreign debt holdings were truly a source of power, then Britain - as the second-largest holder of US Treasury securities - would presumably have a decisive degree of control over America's economic destiny. Throughout, the conversation illuminates core MMT principles: the operational reality of government spending, the true nature of government bonds as private sector savings, and why exchange rate concerns, whilst legitimate, shouldn't drive us back to defunct fiscal rules. The panel's analysis reveals how even well-intentioned progressive economists can inadvertently perpetuate harmful misconceptions about monetary sovereignty. =========== Key Topics with Timestamps [02:15] Introduction to the Fauxbel Prize concept[05:30] "Government can create money" vs "does create money"[12:45] The consolidated view of government and central bank[18:20] Why all government spending is money creation[25:10] "Borrowing to invest" - the progressive own goal[35:45] Historical context: Keynes and bifurcating budgets[42:30] The "Tap" system vs bond auctions[48:15] "Public debt = time bomb" narrative analysis[55:40] Exchange rate concerns and industrial policy ========= Guest Bio Dr Phil Armstrong - Economist and author of "Can Heterodox Economics Make a Difference?". The moment we realized “liquidity” isn't a theory Thirteen years ago, Lucas and I thought we were being responsible by storing a lot of our capital in gold and silver. It felt safe. It felt timeless. It felt like the kind of move people make when they're thinking long-term. And then we needed cash. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3go-H641ZU Not someday. Not “in retirement.” We needed liquidity for real life—building a business, making decisions, moving when opportunities showed up. And in that moment, we learned something the hard way: an asset can be valuable and still be a terrible place to store accessible capital. The spot price was down. We had to sell at the wrong time, and that's when the question got painfully simple: Where do you store capital so you can access it when you want it—without losing control, without begging permission, and without being at the mercy of timing? That question is what led us to build what we now call our family banking system—and in this Part 6 case study, we're pulling back the curtain again. In this Marshall Family Banking System Case Study: In-Force vs Original Illustration (Part 6), Bruce Wehner and I walk you through the real mechanics: premium paid, cash value, loan availability, in-force illustrations, original projections, and what actually changed over time. What you'll learn from this Marshall Family Banking System case study If you've ever looked at a whole life insurance illustration and wondered, “Can I trust these numbers?” you're not alone. And if you've ever asked: “What happens to cash value when you take a policy loan?” “Do you still earn dividends with a policy loan?” “How do I compare an in-force illustration vs original illustration?” “When does a family banking system break even?” …then this article is for you. This is Part 6 in our series, and it's designed to help you understand how a family banking system works using real policy performance—not theory, not hype, and not marketing claims. Here's what you'll gain by reading: A clear picture of family banking system with whole life insurance and why we use it What our numbers look like (in round terms) after years of funding The difference between cash value vs loan value (and why that matters) Why in-force results can differ from the original illustration How dividends changing over time can materially impact long-range projections Why we're still committed—and why this is about control, not “rate of return” What is a family banking system? A family banking system is a capital control system—built to give your family a dependable place to store cash, grow it steadily, and access it on demand. Bruce and I both see this with families every day: the biggest stress isn't usually “investment performance.” It's capital access. It's the ability to make a decision when life happens—without panic, without selling assets at the wrong time, and without losing future opportunity because you couldn't move quickly. For us, our family bank is built on whole life insurance cash value from a mutual company, structured intentionally for: Liquidity and access Predictable growth (guarantees + non-guaranteed dividends) A growing death benefit for multi-generational wealth The ability to borrow against the policy while the cash value continues to compound And I want to say this plainly: this is not an investment. This is savings. This is capitalization. This is a financial foundation from which you can invest with confidence. That distinction matters. Why we started: liquidity, then legacy We started this journey because we needed liquidity. Later, we realized something deeper: a family banking system is not just about “having cash.” It's about building a structure that can last. After my near-death experience, our perspective on money and estate planning shifted permanently. We began asking a different question: What would it look like to leave our children more than money—while also leaving them a financial system that works? That's where the multi-generational aspect of this became central. Lucas said it simply in the episode: it's for now and for the future. Family banking system case study: our “13-year” system with a reset (1035 exchange) One important clarification: when we say “13-year update,” it's because the concept has been in our family for 13+ years. But the specific policies we're showing in this case study are newer because we did a 1035 exchange—moving cash value from one policy to new policies. That move effectively hit a reset button in terms of what you'll see on the current policy timeline. So while the family banking system is 13+ years in, these particular contracts are five policy years into the current structure. That matters, because a lot of people look at year 1–5 and get discouraged. In early years, policies have costs, and break-even in whole life insurance doesn't happen immediately. But “break-even” isn't the only goal—and really it's not even the most important measurement. Premium paid vs cash value: the real numbers (round terms) Let's make this tangible. At the time we pulled these figures (Watch the YouTube video to see all the numbers): We had paid a little over $300,000 in total premium into the two policies Our total cash value (if we paid off the outstanding loan) was roughly $282,000 The amount we could access as a loan (if we paid off the outstanding loan) was roughly $260,000 We currently had a policy loan of about $48,000 With that loan in place: Cash value showed lower (because of mechanics like premium refund timing and reporting) The available loan value was lower (because part of the cash value is collateralized by the loan) Here's the key takeaway for your own family banking system with whole life insurance: Cash value vs loan value in a family banking system Cash value is the pool. Loan value is how much the company will allow you to borrow against that pool. When you take a policy loan, you are not “withdrawing” your cash value. You're using the insurance company's money and collateralizing your cash value. That means: Your cash value can keep compounding You can repay the loan and free up borrowing capacity again You are not interrupting the internal growth the same way you would if you pulled money out of a bank account Bruce made this point clearly: banks stop paying you interest on money you remove. With policy loans, the system behaves differently because you're borrowing against the reserve, not pulling your capital out. “Do you still earn dividends with a policy loan?” In our case, yes—because our company is non-direct recognition. That means the company does not reduce the dividend crediting due to the presence of a loan. (Some companies do recognize the loan and adjust dividends; those are direct recognition companies.) Bruce's point was balanced, and I agree: it's not that one is “good” and the other is “bad.” There are tradeoffs. There are no solutions—only compromises. But you need to understand which kind you have, because it affects how policy loans show up in performance over time. How a family banking system works year-to-year: the numbers keep rising One of the most encouraging things we've seen is simple: The amount we can borrow has continued to increase year after year. A family banking system is not built for bragging rights. It's built for usability. The question isn't “What's the highest theoretical projection?”The question is “How much capital can I access when I need it—without breaking my plan?” When you consistently fund a system, you build a growing reservoir of capital that you control. This is why we call it an “emergency/opportunity fund.” It's there for emergencies and opportunities. In-force illustration vs original illustration: why our numbers changed Now let's get to the core of this Part 6 case study: Marshall Family Banking System Case Study: In-Force vs Original Illustration (Part 6) is about comparing the illustration you get when you start… versus the illustration you get after real years of performance. Here's what we showed: The original illustration used the dividend crediting rate at the time the policy was issued and projected it out to age 121.
If you're going to own a fleet of vehicles, why wouldn't you finance them through your own banking system instead of the bank's? In this episode of Without the Bank, we break down one of the most misunderstood—and powerful—chapters in Nelson Nash's Becoming Your Own Banker: equipment financing. WTB Episode 256 walks through how capitalizing a properly designed life insurance system allows business owners to finance trucks, equipment, and big-ticket items while building equity in the right place—their own banking system. This episode clears up common confusion around "extra interest," explains why premium is what actually makes you money, and shows how scaling vehicle financing works—from one truck to an entire fleet. No magic. No shortcuts. Just math, discipline, and control. Key Takeaways: Why equity in equipment is limited—and banking equity isn't The real meaning of "extra interest" (hint: it's additional premium) Why you don't make money just by taking policy loans How financing one, two, three, or four vehicles simply scales the same system Why capitalizing first gives you flexibility when business gets hard How policies must be structured as a system, not a single policy Chapters: (00:00) Why fleet owners should think differently about financing (01:01) Capitalizing on the policy before buying equipment (03:07) Equity in the wrong place vs. the right place (06:05) "Extra interest" explained (and why it's misunderstood) (10:38) Financing one truck step-by-step (13:59) Scaling to multiple vehicles (17:06) Using the system beyond trucks (taxes, real estate, equipment) Want help structuring your own banking system? In this episode of Geopolitics with Ghost, Ghost focuses on two interconnected developments with major geopolitical implications. The discussion centers on President Trump's closed-door meeting with Colombian President Gustavo Petro and why the lack of U.S. media coverage around that meeting matters. Ghost walks through what was reported internationally, including Petro's comments on drug trafficking, sanctions, and cooperation with the United States, as well as the surprising tone shift following months of public tension between the two leaders. The episode then turns to the evolving Credit Suisse story and its broader connection to the global banking system. Ghost explores how financial institutions, cartel money laundering, sanctions, and political pressure intersect, and why these issues may explain the silence from legacy media. Throughout the episode, Ghost ties these developments to larger shifts in power, transparency, and accountability within the international financial and political landscape.

Australian property prices are often treated as a national scoreboard—up means success, down means failure. But what if that assumption is wrong? In this episode, we interrogate one of the most polarising ideas in housing today: that Australia's obsession with ever-rising property prices is doing more harm than good.Joining Veronica and Chris is Adam Schwab, founder of Luxury Escapes and a sharp, outspoken commentator on economics, inflation, and corporate behaviour. Coming from outside the property industry, Adam brings a contrarian lens to housing—questioning whether property has become an unproductive asset, how easy credit and government incentives have distorted prices, and why policies like 5% deposit schemes may be helping vendors more than buyers. The conversation digs deep into rental yields versus capital growth, the role of the RBA in inflating asset prices, and why high house prices don't actually benefit most owner-occupiers. Adam challenges the idea that owning property equals success, arguing that Australia's fixation on housing is crowding out productive investment, innovation, and long-term economic resilience. This is a robust, sometimes uncomfortable discussion about incentives, risk, and who really wins when property prices keep climbing. If you care about affordability, fairness, and the future of Australia's economy — not just short-term price movements—this episode will force you to rethink what “good” housing policy actually looks like.Episode Highlights00:00 — Introduction to the Episode and Guest00:56 — Adam Schwab's Contrarian Views on Property01:37 — Debating Property Prices and Investment02:49 — Renting vs. Buying: A Financial Analysis05:43 — The Impact of High Property Prices on Society19:02 — Monetary Policy and Housing Market26:50 — Reverse Mortgages and Their Implications27:32 — The 40-50 Year Loan Debate28:31 — Government Policies and Housing Market29:09 — Economic Logic vs. Political Motives29:33 — Risks of New Property Incentives31:22 — Banking System and Housing Bubble33:41 — Immigration and Housing Affordability35:28 — Leveraging and Property Investment42:20 — Comparing Property to Other Investments47:53 — Global Talent and Property Prices49:51 — Concluding Thoughts on Property MarketAbout the GuestAdam Schwab is the co-founder of Luxury Escapes, one of Australia's most successful global travel businesses, which he helped scale into a billion-dollar brand. Beyond entrepreneurship, Adam has built a parallel career as a respected financial journalist and commentator, known for his sharp critiques of corporate behaviour, economic policy, and market incentives. He is also the co-host of The Contrarians podcast, where he regularly challenges mainstream narratives on markets, inflation, and government intervention. Unafraid to question sacred cows — including Australian property — Adam brings an outsider's perspective grounded in economic fundamentals rather than industry orthodoxy. In this episode, Adam applies that contrarian mindset to housing, offering candid insights into why Australia's property system rewards asset inflation over productivity, how easy credit fuels bubbles, and why policy settings may be entrenching inequality rather than solving it.Connect with AdamAdam's LinkedIn

The biggest threat to consumer financial health isn't inflation, stagnant wages, or market volatility, but the financial system itself. Not because it's failing, but because it's been silently optimized to benefit the most educated, the wealthiest, and the most sophisticated players. In the new book Fixed, a harsh truth is revealed: from daily saving and borrowing to education loans, insurance, and retirement planning, personal finance is designed to disadvantage the very people it seeks to help. Complexity becomes a source of profit. Friction turns into a deliberate feature. And billions of people, from young families to aging retirees, are left making high-stakes decisions within a system stacked against them. Today on Banking Transformed, I'm joined by the co-author of the book, Tarun Ramadorai. We explore how we got here, why consumers struggle with even the most basic financial choices, and most importantly, what it will take to restore fairness, trust, and transparency. If you care about the future of consumer banking, financial well-being, or rebuilding confidence in the system, this is a conversation you can't afford to miss.

Cancel culture may be on the wane, but more insidious than social media mobs is the government's ability to cut controversial figures off from their finances through the process of de-banking. Matt Kibbe sits down with Jorge Jraissati, president of Economic Inclusion Group, to talk about this little-understood means of censorship that is a growing threat to individual liberty. As cash becomes less and less useful, we've become increasingly reliant on banks and credit card companies to allow us to conduct basic commerce. When that tool is taken away, it's the equivalent of being totally banished from society.
In this episode of Cashflow Legendz, Brandon and Nate dive into the fundamentals of building your own banking system, inspired by Nelson Nash's groundbreaking book Becoming Your Own Banker. They break down how the Infinite Banking Concept works, why traditional banks profit from your habits, and how you can flip the script to take control of your financial future. Discover the mindset shift, practical steps, and powerful principles that can help you create a system where you become the banker — earning interest instead of paying it.

Welcome to a provocative two-part special on "Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu" featuring Hasan Piker, the fearless streamer, progressive commentator, and cultural critic known for his passionate takes on economics, politics, and the future of America. In Part 1 of this episode, Tom and Hasan pull no punches as they dive into the resurgent interest in socialism among young people, the perceived failures of capitalism, and the real roots of economic disenfranchisement. Hasan lays out the generational pressures facing the youth today: from unaffordable housing and wage stagnation to mounting inequality and corporate monopoly power. The conversation unpacks the intrinsic mechanics of both capitalism and socialism, exploring themes of wage labor, class tension, and corporate consolidation. Tom and Hasan dig into the impacts of banking, the Federal Reserve, and money printing—questioning whether the real culprit is capitalism, unchecked banking, or something deeper in the way we organize our economy. Together, they debate innovation, government intervention, and what really drives prosperity—and who's left behind. Policy loans are one of the most powerful tools in infinite banking, but they're not free money. In this episode, Hans and Brian dive deep into the strategic considerations around when to use policy loans, when to avoid them, and how to think through these decisions holistically. From philosophical approaches to practical examples, they explore the spectrum of policy loan usage in the infinite banking community, ranging from Nelson Nash's "cut out the snakes and dragons" philosophy to pure arbitrage-focused strategies. The hosts share real-world scenarios that illustrate the power of having control and optionality in your financial decisions.Through Brian's recent land purchase and various investment examples, they demonstrate why maintaining liquidity provides strategic advantages and how policy loans can be leveraged responsibly as part of a comprehensive wealth-building strategy. The Philosophy Spectrum of Policy Loans: The infinite banking community spans from Nelson Nash's "cut out the snakes and dragons" approach to pure arbitrage-focused strategies. Finding the middle ground means using policy loans strategically while maintaining core principles over the 17-20 year journey. You Finance Everything You Buy: Whether you pay cash or finance, you're always giving up opportunity cost. When you hand cash to a dealer, that money stops working for you and starts working for them. Understanding this helps frame policy loan decisions within your overall capital allocation. The Power of Having Options: Maintaining liquidity provides strategic advantages. Keeping cash reserves above emergency fund levels allows you to seize unexpected opportunities, while having multiple financing options creates optimal decision-making flexibility. When NOT to Use Policy Loans: Avoid using policy loans for daily expenses, laddering policies (using loans to fund new policies), and taking loans without a repayment plan. Policy loans require responsible banking practices despite their flexibility.Investment Arbitrage Considerations: A 10% minimum return threshold provides one framework for policy loan investments. Asset allocation models can guide decisions beyond simple interest rate arbitrage across real estate, private lending, and other investment categories.➡️ Chapters00:00 - The Power and Responsibility of Policy Loans01:00 - Current Economic Environment and Tax Policy05:00 - Policy Loan Decision Framework08:00 - The 17-20 Year Journey to Financial Independence12:00 - Car Dealership Financing vs Policy Loans16:00 - The Ability to Repay as a Position of Strength22:00 - Emergency vs Opportunity Funds29:00 - Invest to Live, Don't Live to Invest33:00 - Asset Allocation Over Pure Arbitrage39:00 - Personal Investment Thresholds and Strategies48:00 - What NOT to Use Policy Loans For52:00 - Future Windfalls and Repayment Planning54:00 -The Dangers of Policy LadderingGot Questions?
