Ahsoka is accused of bombing the Jedi temple and killing clones to cover up the crime and she's now on the run. The Jedi council, having decided that Ahsoka is guilty, chooses to send the most logical people to catch her: the two Jedi she has the closest relationships with, Anakin Skywalker and Plo Koon. After calling Barriss Offee to ask for help, she is spotted by police, and escapes into the lower levels of Coruscant, where she is captured by bounty hunter Asajj Ventress. Ahsoka offers her a deal - help Ahsoka prove her innocence, and Ahsoka will get Ventress a pardon.Barriss offers Ahsoka a lead - Letta visited an old munitions factory nearby when acquiring the nano-droids used in the bombing. As they depart, they are spotted by Commander Wolfe and his men. Ahsoka and Asajj fight their free, making sure not to kill any of the clones. Once Ventress is on her own, she's knocked out by a mysterious assailant, who takes Ventress' mask and lightsabers - then attacks Ahsoka while in disguise! The clearly Force-using masked attacker manages to knock Ahsoka out and into the hands of Anakin and Wolffe, who take her into custody and back to the temple.Tarkin is SpaceTiming(™) into the Jedi temple with the Senate's demands that Ahsoka be tried for her crimes. Yoda says that Ahsoka will be tried by the Jedi and Tarkin makes a pretty salient point that a bunch of weird space ninja wizards with a penchant for kidnapping young children might not be willing to let justice take its course. The Senate is asking that Ahsoka be expelled from the Jedi order so she can be tried by a military tribunal. Yoda says that the dark side clouds many things, but still wonders who might have force choked Letta if not Ahsoka. Yada yada perception dump stat yada. If only telepathy were a Jedi skill. Ahsoka is kicked out of the Jedi, and stripped of her rank in the Grand Army of the Republic. Anakin tracks down Ventress in the slums and proceeds to get investigatory. Ventress cops to wanting to turn Ahsoka in for the reward, but changed her mind when she realized that Ahsoka was also betrayed by her master and abandoned by the Jedi order. Anakin goes slack jawed when he realizes maybe other people exist in the universe beyond being bit players in his own personal drama.Ahsoka's trial begins and Sheev is adjudicating (and sounding suspiciously like Nigel Thornberry). Anakin is adrift because Ventress is the only one Ahsoka talked to, but AHa! Ventress remembers her talking to Barriss.Anakin goes to chat with Barriss, and decides that only swinging a lightsaber at her head can reveal the truth. Nat 20 and she fends him off with Ventress' stolen lightsabers. That was almost a very awkward conversation with Luminara.Anakin takes Barriss to the trial to undercut Sheev's monologuing. Barriss admits to everything but gets in a pretty good takedown of the Jedi before she gets taken away. Yoda offers her her place back in the Jedi, but Ahsoka declines. Anakin catches up to Ahsoka and tries to make it about himself, and to her credit Ahsoka says it's not about him. Best character in Star Wars. Anakin says he understands wanting to walk away from the order, and Ahsoka says she knows. On this week's edition of Soaring Child, we're joined by Luminara Serdar, an autism recovery expert who helps parents discover and address the root causes of behavior so that their children can be calm and happy.   She discovered the neuromodulation technique at the recommendation of another parent to treat her own allergies. Soon she realized that it could help kids with autism in many ways. Neuromodulation works by giving the body a therapeutic intention to shift by finding errors that the nervous or the immune system is making and correcting them. It's a new way to make the brain work.   Luminara explains that we have to train the brain to think there's a different way to do things by identifying the errors and correcting them. It is literally an intention. The body is asked questions through muscle testing and it responds through strong or weak reactions, using the subconscious mind. It's also important to use drainage and detoxification to get rid of toxins and waste that's clogged in the body and disrupts our biochemistry. Many of these toxins come from diet and environment – everything from plastics to body products to air fresheners.   When these steps are taken, inflammation in the body goes down, better sleep increases, and a child with ADHD or autism can learn how to become calmer and happier. As we promised a couple of weeks ago, time for our second instalment of the mini-series of episodes dedicated to the festivals that populate the calendar of Pisa during the month of June. After waxing lyrical on the Luminara, the amazing light festival that turns the city of the Leaning Tower into a fairytale scenario, time for the big daddy, the main event that closes the month. On the last Saturday of June, teams from the North and South side of the city fight each other on the most ancient bridge trying to push a very heavy cart, in a sort of reverse tug of war. This is probably one of the oddest historical celebrations in the whole of Italy and this should surprise exactly no one. This weird competition was created in the 1940s to replace the real Gioco del Ponte, a simpler and much more violent contest that had been held in the ancient harbour city for centuries. Calling it a "game" is definitely a misnomer: it was in all effects an organised brawl that involved hundreds of fighters per side and could last up to one hour. And yet, Pisans loved it so much that not even a devastating flood could stop them from having their beloved game. Follow us as we delve deep into the history of this brutal clash and how it was crucial in maintaining alive the fighting spirit of the ancient sea power after the devastating defeat against Florence. Come promesso un paio di settimane fa, tempo della seconda puntata nella nostra mini-serie dedicata alle feste che popolano il calendario pisano nel mese di Giugno. Dopo aver parlato della Luminara, l'incredibile festa della luce che trasforma la città della Torre Pendente in uno scenario da favola, tocca ora all'appuntamento principe del Giugno Pisano. L'ultimo sabato del mese, squadre di energumeni rappresentanti Tramontana e Mezzogiorno, il nord e sud della città, si affrontano sul Ponte di Mezzo in quello che molti foresti hanno descritto come un "tiro alla fune alla rovescia". Spingere il pesante carrello dall'altra parte del ponte è forse una delle rievocazioni storiche più curiose in Italia, cosa che non dovrebbe sorprendere nessuno. Eh già, questa strana competizione non è affatto antica, se la inventarono di sana pianta nel dopoguerra per prendere il posto del vero gioco che si era tenuto nella storica repubblica marinara per secoli. Il vero Gioco del Ponte era più semplice e molto più violento, tanto che definirlo un "gioco" è un eufemismo. Senza troppi giri di parole, era una enorme rissa più o meno organizzata che coinvolgeva centinaia di combattenti e poteva durare un'ora. I pisani ne andavano talmente pazzi che nemmeno una devastante alluvione dell'Arno riuscì ad impedire che si disputasse. Seguiteci mentre ci incamminiamo nella storia di questo scontro brutale e di come fu fondamentale per mantenere viva la memoria e lo spirito guerriero di Pisa dopo la devastante sconfitta da parte degli odiati fiorentini. Giugno è speciale un poco dovunque in Toscana ma a Pisa hanno deciso davvero di esagerare. Per tutto il mese, la città della Torre Pendente tiene una nutrita serie di manifestazioni folkloristiche che celebrano la ricca storia dell'antico porto e le sue tradizioni millenarie. Gli eventi del Giugno Pisano sono così tanti e ricchi di curiosità da meritarsi almeno due puntate del nostro podcast. Partiamo con l'evento forse più affascinante, la cosiddetta "Luminara". La notte del 16 giugno l'intero centro storico di Pisa è illuminato da circa 100000 lumini che riprendono i contorni degli edifici più importanti, Torre e chiese famose incluse. Questo affascinante festival della luce, concluso da uno spettacolo pirotecnico sull'Arno, è uno degli eventi più conosciuti della città toscana ma non molti conoscono lo strano santo al quale è dedicato. San Ranieri, nato a Pisa e vissuto nel XII secolo, ha avuto una gioventù decisamente complicata. Donnaiolo impenitente, passava il tempo a suonare, cantare e bere con gli amici. Quando poi alzava troppo il gomito, le risse si sprecavano, se non peggio. C'è infatti chi afferma che uccise un rivale durante un duello. Nonostante tutto riuscì a cambiare completamente vita, grazie all'incontro con un ex cavaliere di Corsica e molti anni passati in Terra Santa. The month of June is special everywhere in Tuscany but in Pisa it's really something else. For the so-called "Giugno Pisano" there are many events that celebrate the rich heritage of the ancient harbour city and its folklore. In the first of our mini-series dedicated to the celebrations in Pisa, we'll walk you through the first event. On June 16th, the landmarks of Pisa are lighted by 100000 oil lamps that punctuate the contours and turn the city into a splendid display of lights. While the "Luminara" is one of the most characteristic events, not many know the very odd saint to whom it's dedicated. Saint Ranieri had quite a troubled time when he was young. A womaniser, party animal and no stranger to a bar fight, he managed to completely turn his life around after a fateful meeting with a former knight turned preacher and a long trip to the Holy Land. We're digging into autism and why this matters when you are TTC. Focusing on preconception health is important for your health, postpartum period and the health of your children. I didn't focus on my health prior to having my children and my postpartum period was rough. Both my kids have food sensitivities, asthma, ear infections, ADHD and more. We also speak about the recent Marvel comic that is based on his original Haunted Mansion concepts that came to be known as a "Museum of the Weird."
