As a young teenager, looking for a bigger and better life, Annie Lobert never planned to be a living statistic in the dark world of sex trafficking when she left home. For years, she lived under control of a man, whose sole purpose was to "break" her and make money off of her. One day she escaped his grasp and fell into the arms of Jesus. Annie's provocative story is a story of redemption and grit and she reciprocates that grace given to her through her ministry Hooker's For Jesus and Destiny House in Las Vegas, Nevada. A ministry that "hooks" women imprisoned by the sex trafficking industry and gives them a home, helps them find legitimate work, and covers them with the gospel. Annie tells the story in her book, Fallen and she shares her life's story with us on the show. Annie's journey to the Savior was a long dark road. This show is not intended for young ears. This is what happened when the Destiny House family launched the first School of Revival in Europe (August 31, 2019). Jen shared about the Azusa Street Revival and then the Destiny House family worshipped and danced deep into the heart of Jesus.
An unforgettable 24/7 worship session in a Czech castle led by Keren Oey with the Destiny House on June 9, 2018.
Spontaneous worship moment from Destiny House (soaking session) We meet every Monday night to do dinner and family time together. After Jen shared on the Moravians and their pursuit of God from a place of unity, we began to worship first with just our voices and then with the piano. It was a powerful time together as the presence of God and His love came in the room so tangibly. This moment is from the last 40 mins of those hours together.
The life of total consecration modeled for us by Welsh Revival leader Rees Howells. Released at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry 4-17-2017 with the Destiny House family. For me, only Jesus. With friends Jessika Tate and Mary Thomason in the beginning, then Lindsey Privitera and Daystar Frady pray at the end with Keren Oey and Andrea singing, Amy Strom and Katharina Welt dancing.
Join us for a time of fellowship, worship, and encountering God's presence together as we go on a journey deeper into the heart of God in this Destiny House Friday Morning worship recorded 11/11/2016. This was right before the family was going to head down to Oakland to the Home of Peace for their retreat. Some beautiful spontaneous choruses are released as we gathered around The One Thing. This recording is raw and unedited. Be blessed and drawn deeper into the well of encountering the heart of the Father with us.
Enjoy this worship session recorded live September 25, 2014 from Destiny House Redding. Several of the songs on this live recording were originally birthed during our Friday morning worship times with the Destiny House family. Psalm 27:3-4 (NIV) Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. Special thanks to Amy Jones, Naomi Jensen, and the Destiny House family for singing and dancing us deeper into God's presence. Thanks also to Samuel Schwendemann, Wesley Knighton, Angela Overstreet, Lucy Charlotte Butler, Chuck & Linda McCallum, and Saint Mark for investing their time, talents, and resources into birthing this dream. Finally, thanks to the Destiny House family for relentlessly pursing the One thing and cultivating an atmosphere for heaven to invade earth on a daily basis. Our destiny is found in intimacy with God and connection with community. We pray that as you partake in what God is doing in and through our community that you would be led back to your 1st love and that everything else would fade away in the light of His glorious beauty.
This meeting took place in Portland, Oregon at a Precious Daughter's conference July 31, 2015. Jessika and Jen share a little bit about Destiny House and then Jen share's about the importance of intimacy with Jesus as essential for stepping into the impossible. Then the incredible and anointed Angela Pinkston & Emily Tedrow take us deep into worship. Peter didn’t walk on water to say he surfed or to do the impossible. He just wanted to be closer to Jesus in the storm. He didn’t know where else to go so he put himself in greater danger to be with the one he loved. May we do the same today. No matter what it looks like, may we go out to meet Jesus in the deeper places still. This session is significant because it was one of the first times Jen began speaking on Walking on Water which later developed into a book she wrote on the subject.
This was a unique time in our movement's history. February 12, 2016 was less than a week before our 4 year anniversary as a movement and followed our Moravian Feast Night. This was also leading into the Azusa Now Event as well as had our Azusa Tribe coming for the first time to mix together with the Destiny House tribe. Jen Miskov releases a 5 minute word on making sure to stay connected to Jesus the Source. What gets released is a beautiful expression of firsts and a family hungry for more of God flowing together as the Holy Spirit leads. Victoria El-Swaify is on the piano and Erik sings out prophetically the theme of this set. The Destiny House family is spontaneously led by the Holy Spirit as they sing out. There are four different generations represented this Friday. Raw and unedited. An unforgettable morning for sure. Be blessed!
Our generation is pregnant with birthing a New Jesus Revolution. This talk will help position you to partner and step into all that God has in this next outpouring of the Spirit in our day. Released March 2016 right after Good Friday and on the night before Easter.
Welcome to the "Showing Up BIG!" Podcast. Description: In today's noisy, distracted and desensitized world, irresponsible and morally bankrupt information is prevalent. As an alternative, we offer the Showing Up BIG! Podcast, where our “free-range guests” serve up their REAL stories, REAL problems, and UNREAL results, in their Zone of Genius! Episode Notes: In Episode 14, we interview Annie Lobert, a wife, speaker, author, entrepreneur, thought leader, advocate for the abused, non-profit founder and CEO, and a survivor of more than a decade of sex trafficking in Hawaii, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas. She is known for being one of the first women to openly speak about her experiences in being sex trafficked, and one of the first to start a non-profit outreach and safe house to help victims of abuse as a survivor-leader. Matthew 4:19 And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." In 2003, after a serious drug overdose and an epiphany, Annie began her personal journey of healing and recovery to emotional, physical, and spiritual wholeness. It was her heart mission to go back and reach the ladies she had left behind who were working in Las Vegas as victims of exploitation. What started as a pioneering, grass roots outreach to ladies in the sex industry soon became a non-profit, whose focus is to Hook (outreach) Hope (Jesus) Help (housing) Heal (restoration). In 2005, Hookers for Jesus, was birthed. Annie moved into full time advocacy using her personal experience as a guide–and started mentoring and helping women who were still in and formerly in the sex industry. Many ladies had nowhere to go after they had left their sex traffickers and a vision was birthed in 2007 to have homes available and ready for women that wanted to leave their pasts behind. It was through her endless efforts to rescue women and give them hope for their futures that Destiny House was officially founded. Destiny House is a safe place for women to live while healing from the serious trauma of being sex trafficked. She is also an internationally recognized expert, mentor, and advocate of ministry to men and women in the commercial sex industry from her personal experience. She fully understands the traumatic psychological, emotional, and physical effects of initially choosing the sex industry as a job choice-only later to be trapped, beaten and sold to the sex trafficker’s highest bidders. She is also a survivor of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), domestic violence, sexual abuse, cancer, drug addiction, abortions, miscarriages, pornography, anorexia, and bulimia. She has been featured on many national and international broadcasts: The Dr. Oz Show, Dr. Drew Life Changers, Fox News, The Jesse Waters Show, MSNBC, ABC, The Today Show, The Blaze, The Alan Colmes Show, Nancy Grace, Nightline, 20/20, Joy Behar, The Tara Banks Show, Investigation Discovery, National Geographic, Joyce Meyer’s Enjoying Everyday Life, Patricia King Live, Life Today, Help Line TV, the 700 Club, the Jim Bakker Show, TBN’s Praise the Lord, I Am Second Film and many more. Annie has been heard on radio programs and interviewed in major news publications across the nation and world such as: The Associated Press, The New York Post, LA Times, Penthouse, and Charisma magazine to name a few. Governmental organizations, judicial offices, police force trainings, and educational systems, in addition to community groups and churches are effectively utilizing Annie’s trainings: Her inside view and background to assist in educating the public and stirring them to action regarding prostitution and sex trafficking. She is currently on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Nevada Trafficking Task Force for victim advocacy, as well as the education & outreach committee. When Annie is taking time off of her busy schedule, she spends time with her husband, Oz Fox as he tours with his rock band, Stryper. They were married on June 5th, 2009. https://www.hookersforjesus.net https://twitter.com/annielobert https://twitter.com/hookersforjesus https://www.facebook.com/#!/annielobert?fref=ts https://www.facebook.com/#!/hookersforjesus?fref=ts Are you ready? It's time to get out of the boat and start walking on water. About the Book: Discover the Surprising Key to a Life of Supernatural Possibility! Peter never set out to walk on water. He didn't attend a special seminar or school; he just loved Jesus and wanted to be closer to Him. No matter the storm, no matter the danger, he wanted Jesus more. Love compelled Peter to step out of the boat and into the impossible--and love can do the same for you. With fresh biblical insight and immediate life application, author and teacher Jennifer Miskov shows that when your deepest desire is to fall more in love with Jesus, a life of courageous faith, bold action and astounding miracles comes naturally. We then discuss our thoughts on Destiny: House of Wolves. Spoiler - We like it a lot more than Crota. We then talk about Halo 5 information from Game Informer. We then get into discussion about E3 - Our predictions, thoughts, and wants from the show. Then the episode ends with a recap of TAG Games and my favorite memory from the competition.

E3 looms large over the world of gaming, casting its formidable shadow over us all like a lumbering Godzilla made of polygons. It's only a few weeks away, but we begin our preparations now. First though, there's the week's news to get through, and there's enough to shake more than a few sticks at. Oculus have bought a company that will let them compete directly with Microsoft's Hololense; Need For Speed is poised to make a return; Resident Evil Zero is on its way to a console near you; and Halo 3: ODST is finally going to be making its way into the hands of poor owners of the Master Chief Collection. All of that plus fresh news on Darksiders 2, Iron Brigade, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and The Witcher 3. That should fill you up nicely. The big 3 conferences at every E3 are Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony. We'll be taking a look back at last year's press conferences for the big three and see how they've fared in the year since and what they need to do to top or match their press conferences from last year. This week it's the turn of Sony who had a very impressive show last year. We'll talk about whether they've delivered on their promises, succeeded or failed, and what they could possibly say this year that will get us the most excited. There'll be a spot more tea this week before we get on to what we've been playing, and then we'll talk about Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Destiny: House of Wolves and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Definitely 3 of the biggest releases of the week... Well, not Octodad obviously, but if you're curious about how Destiny's House of Wolves expansion adds to the game, or whether The Witcher 3 is as good as the buzz suggests, then you've come to the right podcast! Conventional wisdom holds that handheld versions of multiplatform games are, at best, stripped-down shadows of their console brethren, and best forgotten. Sometimes, conventional wisdom is for idiots. USGamer's Bob Mackey joins us this week for a Top 5 about handheld companion games that outshone their higher-profile console versions, after which we jump into a rambling conversation about Witcher 3 and Destiny: House of Wolves (and The Simpsons, and some other stuff) before looking at characters you used to think were cool.

'Hookers for Jesus' Tries to Save Las Vegas Prostitutes Meet Annie Lobert -- a former prostitute with a singular mission: saving Las Vegas hookers. Lobert, and her faith-based mission -- which she calls "Hookers for Jesus" -- are the focus of "Hookers: Saved on the Strip," a three-part series premiering Dec. 8 on Investigation Discovery. "When I used to get arrested and the vice [cops] called me a 'hooker,' it really offended me," Lobert told The Post. "So one day I was thinking, if I was reaching out to women and starting to go into casinos and saying, 'I can help you change your life,' and calling myself Annie, it would be a weird thing -- 'Annie Lobert's Reach Out.' "So I figured Hookers for Jesus. I believe in God, for one, and I was a hooker and now I go and fish for people [to save]." TV cameras follow Lobert as she tries to teach ex-call girls how to turn their lives around. In the show's premiere episode, Regina, who grew up in a middle-class New Jersey family and turned to prostitution while in the Navy (where she met her pimp), is her first project. Lobert, 43, is from Minnesota. She worked as a Las Vegas hooker for over 10 years, finally leaving the life behind after a near-fatal overdose and repeated physical abuse from violent pimps. She started Hookers for Jesus in 2006, and eventually began working with The Church of South Las Vegas, whose pastor, Benny Perez, helped Lobert start Destiny House -- a shelter for ex-prostitutes that helps prepare them for life in the straight world (finding jobs, apartments, etc.).
