Host Brian Stelter speaks with Stephen Shackelford and Davida Brook, two of the lead attorneys in Dominion Voting Systems' lawsuit against Fox. "We have so much work ahead of us," Shackelford says, because even though Fox paid $787.5 million earlier this year to settle the case, Dominion is still suing many other defendants, including Newsmax and Rudy Giuliani. Those cases are "all proceeding towards trial," Brook says. Shackelford says Dominion was "put through hell" by Donald Trump's election lies in 2020 – "hell that continues to this day." Brooks says the ongoing litigation is about "setting the record straight." Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Today, The Two Mikes are going to take a brief break from current events and new guests to provide our listeners with a two part look at the life and times of Lt. General Thomas McInerney (ret'd). This podcast's listeners are well acquainted with General McInerney as a patriot who has spent the latter years of hills life – generally a time of less work, reading, and more rest – in fighting to defeat the republic's domestic enemies, the lethal foes of all Americans who believe faith, family, and country should be the three guiding principles of U.S. society. The General was the first to identify to identify the fact that traitors in the highest echelons of the U.S, intelligence community used that community's best technology to help the Democrats and their legions of woke anti-Americans to steal the 2020 presidential election. The General also has provided a great deal of precise information about, and quality analysis of, the ongoing attempts by the Biden Administration and its foreign allies to destroy America. With these facts noted, this episode of the Two Mikes and the next were recorded so that our listeners could get to know General McInerney, the family he came from, the life he has led and the wars he has fought, the many accomplishments he has achieved, and the extraordinary American that he is. May God bless and keep him and his family always.SponsorsTriangle Fragrance: https://trianglefragrance.com/?sca_ref=4171318.dUndUHDKz3Cambridge Credit: https://www.cambridge-credit.org/twomikes/ EMP Shield: https://www.empshield.com/?coupon=twomikesOur Gold Guy: https://www.ourgoldguy.com www.TwoMikes.us
Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Christina Bobb, who is a former U.S. Marine, an investigative reporter, and is currently a lawyer working with Trump's battle against Democrats' lawfare. Ms. Bobb said we are witnesses to an age in which many powerful politicians have decided that they can rule with the United States without the American people. In her recent book, Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024, Ms. Bobb claims that he research into the 2020 election can lead to only three conclusions; (a) that the Democrats cheated and the Republicans helped them cover up the fraud (b) that this corruption is locate at every level of government in the United States , federal, state, municipal, county, and town; and (c) that many of the nation's courts -- federal, state and local -- cannot be relied on to rule in a non-partisan manner. Despite these problems, Ms. Bobb maintains that the role of the American people in governing the republic is a primary one, and must be reclaimed from the tyrannical politicians. Ms. Bobb said it is especially important that citizens in all localities let their governments know that their management of elections are being closely watched, and among the best ways make this point is by attending the meetings of the city council, the school board, the board of elections, and the regular meetings of other pertinent government entities and make your voice heard. If you cannot make the meetings, send an email and say you are watching election management closely and/or volunteer to spend a few hours on election day working in a voting facility and while doing so keep your eyes open for irregularities. With Fox News and Tucker Carlson mutually agreeing to part ways, what's next for Carlson? CNBC reports: Right-wing prime-time host Tucker Carlson is leaving Fox News immediately, the cable network announced Monday. The announcement came days after Fox News' parent company settled Dominion Voting Systems' defamation lawsuit for $787.5 million. The company's hosts were not required to talk about the lawsuit, or make an apology for it, as part of the settlement, CNBC previously reported. “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the company said in a statement Monday. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.” There will be no send-off for Carlson, as his last program aired Friday. Carlson had signed off Friday saying he would be back Monday. Carlson's program, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” has long been one of Fox's top rated programs. The company wouldn't comment beyond the release, or around whether Carlson was being taken off air in response to the Dominion defamation case. Fox News did not offer a statement on Carlson's behalf. Two recent US Supreme Court cases merged in a combined ruling, Axon Enterprise v. FTC and SEC v. Cochran allows the SEC and the FTC's in-house litigation defendants to sue the regulators and is expected to increase the number of constitutional challenges against two of the most powerful regulators, and other federal agencies with a similar structure. The change will allow enforcement targets to challenge the agencies' constitutional authority in federal district court without waiting for an in-house judge's decision, as was previously required. The first direct attack against SEC authority has already been lodged at the Supreme Court. The SEC and the FTC will have to more aggressively defend their use of administrative law judges and in-house courts against accusations that they violate due-process rights. The ruling will allow companies to shop for friendly district courts when they're hit by administrative proceedings, such as an FTC suit attempting to block a merger. The change may also force agencies to expend more resources as they litigate on multiple fronts and is of a piece with some of our earlier reporting wherein courts have used the “major questions doctrine” to resist deferring to agency statutory interpretation where the underlying matter is of major economic or political significance. In sum, we may be on the precipice of seeing a substantially weakened administrative state.Federal Agencies Face Constitutional Fights After High Court LossFood distributor Sysco is arguing that unionized workers cannot strike in solidarity with Sysco workers in the Midwest because they technically don't work for the same company. This follows a recent strike by Sysco workers in Indiana and Kentucky over wages and retirement benefits. Sysco workers belonging to Teamsters Local 117 in Washington state followed suit, but Sysco Seattle filed a complaint in US District Court, stating that its workers could not join the picket because its operation is a separate entity from Sysco Louisville and Sysco Indianapolis. The pending lawsuit raises the question of whether large, multi-pronged corporations are one employer or multiple employers under the law. While the strikes in Indianapolis and Louisville have already ended, the answer is not immediately clear, but will depend on the facts of the case. While federal law allows workers to strike against their employers, it doesn't extend to third parties, although the Labor-Management Relations Act also permits sympathy strikes, which are different from secondary strikes. The outcome in this case, should it be decided against workers, will significantly weaken labor and provide owners with a path forward to minimize the impact of strikes by creating separate regional entities. Sysco Picketing Lawsuit Hinges on Standard for Secondary StrikesThe start of Dominion Voting Systems' $1.6 billion defamation trial against Fox News has been delayed by a day, and sources say that Fox is pursuing settlement talks. The trial is over the network's coverage of the 2020 US presidential election. Dominion is accusing Fox of ruining its reputation by airing baseless claims that its machines secretly changed votes in favor of Democrat Joe Biden, who defeated then-President Trump, a Republican, in the 2020 presidential election. Dominion is asking for $1.6 billion in damages, a figure Fox has said is unrealistic and based on flawed economic modeling. The trial is considered a test of whether Fox's coverage crossed the line between ethical journalism and the pursuit of ratings, as Dominion alleges and Fox denies. So far, pre-trial rulings have been in Dominion's favor, but as we saw a few months ago in the Tesla shareholder lawsuit against Elon Musk, it's possible to win big on the pre-trial motions and still lose at trial. We discussed that outlook as the parties proceed into jury selection. We also talked about a goat — you have probably read about Cedar, the goat that the Shasta County Fair Board had seized and killed after the young girl who was raising him decided she didn't want to give him up for slaughter. Director-producer Elizabeth Banks understood the challenges of making the mixed-genre horror-comedy “Cocaine Bear.” “I knew that if we could just create inside the movie the sense of chaos that the bear represented, that the title represented, that the ride was for theater goers, the comedy really came second to me,” she states. “I didn't want to make a comedy, if you will. It ended up being really funny, though.” Banks talks about hearing the call of destiny with “Cocaine Bear,” releasing the raunchy R-rated horror-comedy in theaters, working with Ray Liotta, and how she has dealt with failures in her career. Today, The Two Mikes picked up with Lt. General Thomas McInerney (ret'd) after his pre-election visit with us. General McInerney said that the Democrats did indeed attack the Virginia governor's election, but "by God's grace" the effort was unsuccessful. (The General is keeping some things close to his vest here.) In New Jersey, the Democrats also attacked the Governor's race and were able to find 40,000-plus votes to switch from Republican Jack Ciattarelli's total over to Murphy -- the death-dealer to elderly Wuhan Flu sufferers -- to give him a rigged victory. Many Republicans are scared of having the “Lin Wood Effect” on upcoming elections, so they are avoiding the election fraud debate altogether. They want to focus solely on voter turnout and hope that the election isn't rigged. We can't keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. If we are going to ever win an election again, we must focus on both Voter Turnout AND Election Fraud. If you only focus on one without the other, we'll lose every time.
The Arizona Senate has subpoenaed the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and Dominion Voting Systems to get the remaining routers and passcodes needed to complete the Arizona Audit. The response from both parties is a complete disregard for transparency in the integrity of our elections. The summary of their response? The election was completely secure, but we won't prove it to you… just trust us. Yeah, I think I'll pass on that one…
Conservatives across the country are putting their hope and faith in the Arizona Audits. While they appear to be doing an amazing job taking a deep forensic dive into what actually happened in the 2020 Election, we as Conservatives cannot view this as the end game. Once the fraud is proven, the battle to save America really begins.
CNN and many other mainstream media outlets are taking a statement by Ben Cotton, one of the people tasked with the Arizona Audit, out of context to claim that conservatives have been lying about the coverup. The fact that they cannot be honest gives even more credibility to the belief that the 2020 Election was, in fact, stolen from President Donald Trump.
On Episode 2 of our new weekly law and politics podcast, Legal AF, hosts MT founder and civil rights lawyer Ben Meiselas and national trial lawyer and commentator, Michael Popok, take a deep dive into Trump lawyer and “Big Lie” shill Sidney Powell's efforts to dismiss Dominion Voting Systems' new federal defamation case against her, including her eye-popping “defense” that none of her statements of voter fraud against Dominion were true, and that no reasonable person could believe they were “facts”. Next up, a discussion of MyPillow's Mike Lindell's hiring of Alan Dershowitz (we guess Rudy was tied up) to bring a defamation countersuit against Dominion, which could lead Dominion to one day owning My Pillow. Later, Ben and Michael explore possible future prosecutions of Trump and his family for sedition for advocating the violent overthrow of the Government, and the “pay to play” scandal surrounding Trump's pardon frenzy in his waning days, including a link between Florida's Aleph Institute, the Kirshner family, and the pardons granted.
