Today, The Two Mikes spoke with author Drew Thomas Allen about his new book America's Last Stand: Will You Vote to Save or Destroy America in 2024.Mr. Allen opened our discussion by frankly stating that "by any metric Americans were better off under Trump." Today, The Two Mikes spoke with an incisive and quite wry international affairs analyst named Brandon Weichert. Mr. Weichert just published a most timely book, The Shadow War: Iran's Quest for Supremacy. Mr. Weichert spoke of the completely incompetent, nearly brain-dead Biden Administration 's policy in the Middle East, which has, in essence, "made everything worse in the region." Perhaps the pivotal and obvious mistake made by the Bidenites was to continue the Obama's regime's plan to stuff U.S. cash into the Islamic Republic, which has seemingly been used to achieve rapid military modernization. The total of such funding -- with Biden recently chipping in another $6 billion -- now stands at about $68 billion. As important, Mr. Weichert said -- and The Two Mikes agreed -- that Americans should never forget that the people they elect, as well as their civil service, are largely men and women of high-priced education who know absolutely nothing about history or foreign policy beyond the three sayings that dominate the U.S. approach to diplomacy; namely. "You must have democracy or we will sanction you", "We will go to war at the drop of a hat, though we do not know how to win but love getting our heads kicked-in”, and "U.S.. foreign policy makers could screw-up a one car funeral." The sum result of these lousy practitioners of foreign policy in the Middle East is that they seem to believe that the region's Muslim nations have been locked in time since 1947, and that only the United States and Israel have improved in politics, diplomacy, armaments, brain power, and technology. This, of course is delusional none-sense and about no countries is it less true than Iran and Turkey, both of which are regular recipients of U.S. taxpayer money, but otherwise have produced and harassed educated and patriotic populations, high technology for civil and military uses, and have learned from America's recent military performances that only American leaders believe that their military power can be used to intimidate foes into behaving behave like cowards. Today, The Two Mikes spoke with the author Holly Swenson about her new book, Stop, Drop, Grow, and Glow: Form Deeper and More Joyful Connections with Yourself and Your Children. (Ms. Swenson also holds a BS degree in Nursing and works as a Registered Nurse.) The book is based on her experiences with own family – which includes four sons – during the Covid years, and how she and they coped during and after that disastrous and unnecessary affair and that era's still ongoing costs.Her book, Ms. Swenson tells of how, in the midst of these long and difficult years, she found the importance of balancing the demands of parenthood with more grace and gentility. Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Richard Vague who was a banker for 30 years and most recently retired from the post of Secretary of Banking and Securities for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Vague recently published a book called the Paradox of Debt: A New Path to Prosperity Without Crisis (Published by the Pennsylvania University Press/available at Amazon and elsewhere). Mr. Vague said that he believed that the U.S. economy is slowly steadying and that in comparison to other parts of the world it's in "okay shape". The Chinese economy. for example, is being greatly weakened by "out of control private sector debt." In the United States, Mr. Vague, said the Federal Reserve has overdone interest-rate hikes, and they seem to be bound to stay too high for a while. He also noted that the housing sector is still a worry as there are only an inventory of 800,000 unsold houses in the country; at the time of the 2008 economic disaster there were 2 million unsold homes. Home sales are the most important swing factor in the American economy, a satisfactorily large inventory of unsold houses -- if paired with more reasonable interest rates -- contributes to spurring economic growth. At the same time, Mr. Vague noted that there are areas in that sector that are "booming", such as warehousing, Special Laboratory Spaces, and Medical Spaces. Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Chris Skates who has been a Chemist for over thirty years and has focused on power generation. He also has been an energy adviser and speechwriter on energy for Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin. Dr. Skates said that Americans are being taken for an expensive and eventually disastrous ride by the climate changers and the governments that support/fund them. He said, of course, that nuclear energy is the safest, cleanest, and least-expensive source of power for America, but the politicians have sold most of our uranium-enrichment capacity to foreigners. Recall Hillary Clinton, Obama, and Robert Mueller's quiet operation to sell nuclear-power materials to the Russians. Dr. Skates also said the costs of cutting CO2 is enormously expensive and every reduction in the amount of that gas in the atmosphere will promote starvation and population reduction around the world. The climate fraudsters are also conducting a plan called “Carbon Dioxide Sequestration" which is a process that requires the construction of enormous and enormously expensive machines -- "Direct Air Capture Machines" -- to take CO2 out of the air and then bury it. Again this process is meant to starve people and reduce population. Dr. Skates also reminded us and our listeners that not only have the Obama and Biden administrations closed coal-fired electricity production plants, but they have also "spiked" them so they can never be used again. Overall, "Going Green" is an anti-scientific program being conducted by fanatics for the sole purposes of greed and population reduction. On a lighter note, Dr. Skates also noted that he is a novel writer, and recently published a book about his grandfather, who led the dangerous effort to close down moonshining in Georgia because of its severely negative impact on alcoholism among men, as well as on on their wives and children who suffered from the uselessness and destructiveness of alcoholic husbands and fathers. Today, The Two Mikes had a fascinating discussion with Dr. Sam Bailey, who lives in Christchurch, New Zealand, with her doctor-husband and two children. Dr. Bailey described the intense pressures and attacks she has been subjected to since she determined that the Covid vaccine would hurt people and said so publicly, as well as on her YouTube channel called "Dr. Sam Bailey", where she presents videos on medical topics. After announcing her decision about the dangers of the vaccinations -- and noting that masks and social distancing were ineffective -- she received a call from her place of employment telling her she no longer should report for work for speaking out against the government's wishes, this after more than a dozen years of working there. New Zealand's Ministry of Health watched her videos for six months before beginning to try and take her medical license, and then conducted a show trial against her, complete with biased expert witnesses. This is a vendetta that continues to attack her, but she has so far been able to keep her license, although at a substantial financial cost. Dr. Sam also experienced a good deal of shunning from former friends because of her beliefs and has become isolated from most of them. Listeners will find that Dr. Bailey is very precise in her claims about corruption in the pharmaceutical industry; the great and greatly negative influence that the Rockefellers' exert on medical schools worldwide; and the strangling control that the Federation of Medical Boards has over licensing boards for doctors around the world. Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Jeff Dornik, the chief of a new network called Pickax (https://pickax.com), which will go live in the first quarter of 2024. Mr. Dornik said that he had been examining the current data about Artificial Intelligence and Elon Musk's neuralink, the latter made by Musk's company XAI. Mr. Dornik said that the lasting impression he got from this research was that the combination of the two was "sinister and demonic". Musk's neuralink consists of a chip that will be placed in an individual. Thereafter the individual can be controlled by the chip provider, who has the ability to erase an individual's memory and replace it with one of its own design. In this regard, it is interesting to know that Musk's new deputy is a person who came from the World Economic Forum (WEF) to work for him. Today, The Two Mikes had the rare and welcome opportunity to again host Dimitri Makarov, a member of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov's personal staff at the Russian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Makarov joined us from western Russia. Mr. Makarov was sent there to get a feel for the status of the war there. He was startled to find that, since his last visit, there is an increasing number of native-English-speaking POWS. For the most part, they seem to be in good shape and appreciate the food and blankets provided to them by Russian logisticians. He said that one of his tasks on returning to Moscow will be to report to Minister Lavrov and tell him of this phenomenon. Mr. Makarov said that he dreads reporting this information because it will shock the Minister because President Biden has pledged to him that no American military personnel are on the ground in Ukraine. I wonder, Mr. Makarov said, whether it could actually be that President Biden is really a low-down, lying, two-bit bastard?Another part of his mission in Ukraine was to discover if the most famous Ukrainian Nazi -- Stefan Bandera -- was as popular as ever among the country's population. Makarov said that he and most Russians believe that Bandera was a terrible, bloodthirsty, and atrocity-committing man; indeed, he was too Nazi even for the Nazis. Mr. Makarov said that after his investigation he breathed a sigh of relief as he saw intelligence that reported Bandera is still as popular as ever among the locals. There are a hundred or more statues of Bandera in the country, streets and avenues are named after him, and seventy-percent of Ukrainians still love Bandera and think of him as a hero. Mr. Makarov was pleased that nothing had changed regarding Bandera because it will take the sting out of telling Minister Lavrov that President Biden is a first-class rotter. Today, the Two Mikes were joined by Stella Morabito, a staff writer for the The Federalist, and the author of a new book called The Weaponization of Loneliness:How Tyrants Stoke Our Fear of Isolation to Silence, Divide, and Conquer (Available from Amazon). Ms. Morabito argues that the federal government and its bureaucrats, doctors, and business/tech allies, used the Covid Pandemic to push the isolation of Americans as far as possible. Imagine, Ms. Morabito said, if there is anything more isolating and sadistic than U.S. government orders preventing children from visiting their dying parents who were forced into old folks' homes and hospitals. The entire Covid sham was a federal government effort -- on orders from the UN's WHO and the World Economic Forum -- to oppress its opponents, manipulate the presidential election, attack religion by closing places of worship, and isolate Americans from each other as much as possible. The impact of the latter has created a spike in mental health problems in adults and children across America, and the federal government is using that fact to take measures that will further isolate Americans by claiming that another Covid attack is coming and will be accompanied by another nationwide lockdown. The first fake pandemic weakened the ties of Americans to family, friends, community, and faith in God, the second is intended to break those ties. Ms. Morabito also said -- and remember this one -- that the federal government wants to isolate Americans because isolation promotes conformity, and because it fears the non-conformity that is empowered and supported by an individual's close ties to family, friends, community, and faith. The degree of this fear i s clearly shown in a recent report from the U.S. Surgeon which urges the federal government to take over the problem of isolation and create laws that will allow the government to "fix" the problem of isolation. Who knows? The government has a lot of those cages that Obama used for children at the border and they may be the first step the Congress approves to "fix" the isolation problem. The next step probably is the elimination of free speech, which Ms.Morabito accurately says is the great "connector" of people. Today, the Two Mikes spoke with two very important guests,, members of a Georgia-based organization “Georgians For Truth” (https://www.georgiansfortruth.org) and the leaders of a component part of that organization called “Paper Please”, which is demanding that only paper ballots be used in the 2024 election and that ballots be counted at the precinct level.Recently, Mr. Carnline and Mr. Searcy attended a Republican Party summer fish-fry that featured an appearance by Georgia's governor Brian Kemp. The event's gate keepers refused to admit them because the two men were wearing “Paper Please” T-shirts. The two men decided to stay, went back to their cars and put on different T-shirts, and were then admitted. It was fortunate for all Americans that they did so as they listened and taped comments by Governor Kemp, admitting that he knew – well before the 2024 election -- that Georgia's election machines were hackable and he let the voting go ahead. In addition, the machines that Georgia purchased in 2019 for $107 million were still run on the older and hackable Windows-10 were used, and the other software installed in the machines were five versions behind the best, most secure, and easily available version of the software. Today, The Two Mikes welcomed back U.S. Army Colonel (ret'd) and Doctor Lawrence Sellin to discuss Chinese-U.S. arrangements, and especially the nature of what amounts to an incremental populating of the United States with ethnic Chinese loyal to Beijing, a force that will be available for use against the republic when Chinese President Xi decides to act. Today, The Two Mikes were very fortunate to have a short discussion with Georgia State Senator Colton Moore, a man who is regarded as the most conservative Georgia state senator. Senator Moore has initiated and is leading a movement to stop what he accurately describes as "rogue" District Attorney -- Fani Willis -- from continuing her attempt to destroy free speech by trying Trump and 18 others --including one of Moore's fellow Georgian Senator -- for criticizing the conduct of the 2020 election via tweets and other venues of free speech. Senator Moore is calling for an immediate and emergency session of the Georgia legislature that will take two actions: (1) cut state funding for the district attorney to stop the use of the taxes paid by Georgians being used to destroy the 1st Amendment, and (2) begin an investigation of the attorney general and her contacts with the federal government and other anti-free speech entities. Senator Moore noted that the government of Georgia has to date received 40,000 sworn affidavits from Georgians claiming to have witnessed election fraud in 2020. Senator Moore is having a hard slog so far as many members of the legislature seem fearful of supporting an emergency session, claiming that they have family obligations and other pressing matters to tend to while on vacation between legislative sessions.. Senator Moore is a bold, smart, aggressive, and well-spoken patriot and said he will not stop his demands for a special session. We hope Georgians rally to Moore's banner and get an emergency session called. Today, The Two Mikes spoke with the renowned German author and economist Rainer Zitelmann about the troubled western economies, including that of the United States. Dr. Zitelmann said he had come to defend capitalism and to warn of the dangers that it currently faces. He said that in Europe and the United States capitalism is now seen as serious problem that needs to fixed – with a socialist remedy -- rather than as the reliable regime of growth and ever broader prosperity that it always has been. It almost seems, Dr. Zitelmann said, that few recall the economic “accomplishments” socialism. At the time of the USSR's collapse, for example, East Germans wanting to buy a car had to wait 12.5 to 17 years for its delivery, and then the car they received was all but worn out. At the same point in time only 27- percent of East Germans lived in a place where toilet facilities were not shared, and only 16-percent of East Germans had their own telephones. A refreshed Reaganite world economy would create societies where individuals could again become masters of their own fate and not just exist as self-pitying victims. In such a scenario, consumer choice we again be a dominating power and planned economies would receive the scuppering they merit. As an example of the process, Dr. Zitelmann said that he just returned from giving a seminar in Vietnam, where he found it was harder to find a Marxist that it was in the United States our Europe. This unwise decision “cemented race as an increasingly corrosive issue, as it remains today. One of the principle problems caused by this unwise political-and-media championed decision were federal government social policies that [deliberately?) undermined family life in America.Reviewing those policies and their impact from the 1960s until today, the governments clearly desired results were to “begin to break Americans away from Christianity; (b) to break up the family unit and cohesive and effective neighborhoods; (c) to bring in people and introduce them into areas where they were never likely to be assimilated; (d.) to break the notion of self- reliance, long thought to be the principle signature of adulthood, neighborliness, and civic responsibility; and (e) to destroy the public-education system by changing its task from teaching children how to learn and the worth of leading, to an institution indoctrinating children with radical ideas, racism, and other half-baked liberal and socialist intellectual hallmarks. The title of Mr. Kashel's, as noted above begins with the word “Untenable”. He explained that he got the title from a childhood friend who had lived in the same eastern city all of his life but had decided to leave.Asked “Why are you moving?” Mr. Cashel's friend replied that his elderly mother had been mugged twice and the family home had been Invaded twice.
