Kristal Marshall (November 11, 1983), is an American model and former WWE Diva best known for her work in World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown! brand and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling promotion working as Kristal Lashley as Bobby Lashley's on-screen wife and real life girlfriend. Prior to working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Marshall appeared as a competitor in the 2004 Miss California pageant, as a model for Deal or No Deal, in music videos for 50 Cent and Ma$e, and in commercials for The Best Damn Sports Show Period. She was at one time a Barker Beauty on The Price Is Right. Professional Wrestling Career World Wrestling Entertainment (2005-2007) Marshall first entered WWE as a contestant in the 2005 Raw Diva Search, in which she eventually finished fourth. Despite not winning the Diva Search contract, Marshall was signed to a development deal soon after the contest finished and sent to Deep South Wrestling, WWE newest "farm territory" at that time. In December 2005, she joined the SmackDown! roster as a backstage correspondent, interviewing the brand's superstars during the shows. Her first actual feud on the brand came against the heel run of Jillian Hall. Marshall defeated Hall in debut match—a "Divas Uncovered" match—on the March 10, 2006 SmackDown!. Kristal was defeated by Jillian Hall but was later conforted by Michelle McCool. When Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro joined the SmackDown! brand, Marshall was turned heel and put into an angle where she was jealous of Massaro's Diva Search win. She was aligned with Michelle McCool and the two feuded with Massaro and then-babyface, Jillian Hall, leading to a Fatal Four-Way Bra and Panties match at The Great American Bash, during which Marshall was legitimately injured, though she did not miss any time. In September, the next years Diva Search winner, then-babyface, Layla El, arrived on the brand, and Marshall was put into a feud with her. This one had Marshall aligned with Mike "The Miz" Mizanin against Layla and the Boogeyman. In February 2007, Marshall became a face again and began a storyline which had her as a close friend of then-babyface, Vickie Guerrero, who was mysteriously planning something, and then flirting with SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. After Marshall confessed her love for Long, she convinced him to hire Guerrero as his assistant, leaving her in charge of the show on occasion. Eventually Long proposed marriage, only to suffer a heart attack during the in-ring wedding on September 21. She was released from her WWE contract a few weeks later. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2009-2010) On October 18, 2009, at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's Bound for Glory Marshall, dubbed as Kristal Lashley, debuted as a member of the crowd cheering on her husband Bobby Lashley during his match with Samoa Joe. She then started an angle with Scott Steiner where Steiner kept harassing her in the crowd during his and Lashley's matches. On the November 5 edition of TNA Impact! Marshall accompanied Lashley to the ring but was sent backstage by the referee where Steiner would try to kidnap her but would get stopped by Lashley. She made her TNA in-ring debut on the December 12 edition of Impact! teaming with Lashley in a losing effort against Steiner and Awesome Kong in a mixed tag team match. On the January 4, 2010, Monday night edition of Impact! Bobby and Kristal Lashley requested for their kayfabe immediate release from TNA Wrestling, turning heel in the process. This storyline did not last as Bobby Lashley was released from TNA in February to focus more on his MMA career Other Media Marshall has appeared on an episode of Hogan Knows Best. She also appeared on the February 6, 2008 episode of Project Runway with Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle, Torrie Wilson, Layla, and Michelle McCool. Last night's Royal Rumble gave us two history-making winners. 11 years to the day after he won his first Rumble, Edge won it again...and became only the third man to win the Rumble from the #1 spot. Edge is the 8th man to win the Rumble multiple times. The 11 year gap between his victories is the second longest EVER. Randy Orton was there at the beginning - and there at the end - but absent for just about everything else. Orton was the #2 entrant. He and Edge opened the Rumble with a wild brawl that ended up sending Orton backstage for “medical attention”. He didn't return until the VERY end of the Rumble...only to be the final elimination that sealed Edge's victory. The men's Rumble also saw some surprising returns. The biggest has to be Edge's former tag team partner Christian, who nearly lasted until the very end. Injuries forced Christian into retirement in 2014. Although he did work a very brief, low-contact “unsanctioned” match against Orton last June. Carlito was back, returning to WWE TV for the first time in over a decade. Kane was back - his 20th career Rumble appearance - by far the most ever in WWE history. Kane also eliminated 2 men - extending his record for career Rumble eliminations. Hurricane Helms also made a surprise return. Seth Rollins returned Damien Priest was the lone NXT talent in the men's Rumble. Priest, Rollins and Big E tied for the most eliminations in the men's Rumble - with four apiece .. AJ Styles' bodyguard Omos eliminated two men without even entering the match. In the women's Rumble, Bianca Belair delivered a dramatic, emotional victory. (Belair Rumble Win) That clip from WWE's social media. It may be time to crown Belair the Queen of the Royal Rumble. Last night, she set the record for the longest time in a single women's Rumble - at more than 56 minutes. She also shares the record for the most eliminations in a single Rumble. She and Shayna Baszler both eliminated 8 women last year. The last woman eliminated by Belair last night was Rhea Ripley, who had seven eliminations - the most in either Rumble last night. Ripley wasn't the only surprise entrant. Naomi returned to WWE TV in the #2 spot...and lasted more than 47 minutes. Lana was also back. Some other notable returns - Victoria and Jillian Hall - both back in a WWE ring for the first time in over a DECADE. Mickie James... Torrie Wilson… and Alicia Fox - who actually WON the 24/7 Championship from R-Truth DURING the women's Rumble...only to lose it back to him moments later. The difference was some late interference by Ric Flair and Lacey Evans, who knocked out Charlotte with a foreign object. There aren't many occasions to talk about fine art and movies in the same sentence. And you'd be forgiven for thinking there's even less occasion to consider the financing of movies and fine art as having anything to do with each other. And that's why we have lunch! So folks from what might seem to be disparate endeavors can talk and find out they actually have something in common. Ann Connelly is a legend in the art world.   Ann is founder and owner of Ann Connelly Fine Art where she is a curator, interior designer, and consultant to homeowners and businesses. Over the past 25 years, Ann has grown her business into a gallery that today carries the works of more than 40 creatives, and as a consultancy to some of the most prominent companies and institutions in Baton Rouge, that have hired Ann to hang art on their walls.    Jillian Hall is a documentary fiim maker. She also heads up the Baton Rouge operations of NOVAC, the oldest media arts nonprofit organization in the Gulf South. NOVAC was started in New Orleans in the early 1970s as a way to provide media training and production resources to underserved communities. Since 2013, the organization has had a presence in Baton Rouge, and in the years since has trained hundreds of people for creative industry jobs, developed original documentary content and created innovative youth media programs.  Fine art and movies might not have a lot in common in Hollywood or Paris, but they do here in Baton Rouge.
