If you have ever dined at one of Chef Jamie Knott's restaurants, you know the food, the cocktails, and the vibes are going to be second to none. What you may not realize is the winding path he took to get here. Born in Baltimore and raised in Nutley, Jamie had some things on his mind other than school and, in his words "when I wasn't breaking windows, I was breaking balls." At the suggestion of his father, he decided to attend culinary school and began a successful career working at some major restaurants throughout New York City. Over time his personal life started to catch up to him and after a few self-inflicted wounds he was forced to reset and reevaluate. In this episode, we continue our series on Sports Family's and showcase a local family that epitomizes the theory of implementing a sports culture into their family dynamics to create successful athletes and people for generations. Hall of Fame athletes Scott and Tracy Opfer have five children that have had stellar high school careers and showcase college careers and, in turn, are now successful professionals that positively contribute to society every day. More ninja movies on Your Stupid Minds! This time we attempted to find an underwhelming movie to put an end to this ninja episode massacre. We thought we had a perfect candidate with 1995’s The Hunted starring Christopher Lambert in his first non-Highlander movie on YSM. As it turns out, this movie is great! Paul Richie (Lambert) travels to Nagoya Japan on business and has a lovely date with Kirina (Joan Chen), a supposedly Japanese woman despite being obviously Chinese. After a date in the park listening to the traditional Japanese drummers, they go back to her hotel for a night of sultry hot tub sex. After Richie leaves, ninjas show up and murder Kirina. Richie tries to stop them, only to be hit with shurikens and nearly stabbed to death. After being attacked again in the hospital by ninjas led by the nefarious Kinjo (John Lone) who come to finish the job, he teams up with a samurai Ichiro (Yoshio Harada) and his wife Mieko (Yoko Shimada) to hide out on their secret samurai island to wait for Kinjo.
