Darauf deuten allein schon die Titel seiner Bücher, zum Beispiel „Sezessionistische Heizkörperverkleidungen“, „Je dickens, destojewski“ oder zuletzt der Roman „Kotmörtel“. Nun gibt es ein neues Buch von Kapielski, das den Titel „Lebendmasse“ trägt, Untertitel „Acht längere Unterredungen“. Gerrit Bartels hat es für uns gelesen.

Trained by Desleigh Forster, Apache Chase is no stranger to Clifford Park, having won the 2021 Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood and, more recently, claiming Group 1 success in the Kingsford Smith Cup at Eagle Farm before being announced Queensland Horse of the Year at the 2022 Queensland Thoroughbred Awards.

Reilly is the emotional glue of the film and brings such a warmhearted irreverence to the story. Equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking. Reilly is at the top of his game. A classic. Godzilla vs Kong is a historic rivalry, yet it has been 59 years since these two giants of cinema last traded blows. That seems far too long, but fortunately for the "Monsterverse," the timing couldn't have been better. In our King of the Monsters (KotM) episode, Chumpzilla and I were bullish about the future of this series. We knew this movie would at least be made, but short of a miraculous run, KotM had sullied the stock. Turns out, we were wrong. In less than a week Godzilla vs Kong has grossed over $300 million worldwide, already nearing its predecessors totals. This comes amidst an ongoing global pandemic. Its reviews have also far surpassed that of KotM. It sits at 75% on Rotten Tomatoes with over 300 reviews—a striking 33% improvement. In hindsight, we probably could've predicted the bounce back. After all, these characters are truly the most iconic. Godzilla, for all his miscellaneous adventures, will always be a part of the Japanese zeitgeist due to his metaphorical significance. And the 1933 King Kong remains one of the greatest technical achievements in film; it's a true testament to the power of movies and their ability to suck the viewer into their world. So, does Godzilla vs Kong do its titular characters proud. Yes and no. The fights are a visual wonder—a feast for the eyes with a brutality that you can almost feel. The plot, on the other hand, mirrors that of KotM; in that, it's convoluted and dumb. But, hey, we're here to witness the former, so sit back, pound some Colossal Claude Imperial IPAs from Rogue Brewing Co. into submission., and don't exit your ship in the Hollow Earth! Alright so I went to see Endgame again for a second time in the movies, solely because I wasn’t not going to watch it a second time. And I loved it again. Fascinating movie. Besides that we’re in the endgame as well of Godzilla King Of the Monsters and the beginning of the monsterverse. Hopefully and by all means this movie does really well, and we as Godzilla fans can have more movies. I also spend a few minutes talking about HunterXHunter and I loved that anime series. So so good. Couldn’t be more happier to have finished watching it and I can say that it has helped me learn most of the numbers in Japanese. I’m thrilled to be on a good pace learning Japanese’s I give HXH at least a 9/10. Anyways thanks for hanging and come podcast with me.

Rodan is one of the most beloved kaiju characters!  Although he first appeared with Godzilla as an enemy in1964’s Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster, but later in the film he became an ally to Godzilla to save their world from the alien dragon. Here's a little snippet of what was covered in this podcast. History of Rodan and how he will be portrayed in the new movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The new film will pay tribute original score created by composer Akira Ifukube.   Rodan original film was released in 1956 titled Radon, but was changed to Rodan for English Audiences and so it would not be mistaken for the element Radon. - Rodan’s original name was Radon which is short for what they are, which are Pteranodons - Just as Godzilla was about the threat of nuclear war, Rodan was about the threat of the Soviet Union and is the embodiment of such - Rodan's debut appearance was the first and only time that the character was given a chestnut color. It originally had a menacing face .  with a jagged, toothed beak, which would disappear in later incarnations as the character became more heroic.

We try something different out and learn from our mistakes.
