Vivien Fallows of West Sussex, England took horse riding lessons as a child. That experience, though, was not pivotal to her upbringing. She stopped her lessons, grew up, raised a family, had a career, and pursued other interests - including writing a memoir called Travels with George: Diary of a Mum on a Mission published in 2017 about her solo journey to Australia after the age of 50. After Vivien and her husband moved from London to a small village, where nearly everyone was riding a horse, did she begin thinking about taking lessons again. That eventually led to her being the owner of a Welsh mountain pony named Casper. In this interview, Vivien talks about her experiences with horses as a youngster, the thought process on revisiting riding after many years, as well as how Casper is a ingrained part of her life as they've both matured.View PDF TranscriptVivien's Recommendations:- The Famished Road by Ben Okri- Books of Thomas Hardy, Elizabeth Gaskell, and Wilkie Collins- Dracula by Bram Stoker- The Crown (Seasons 1 and 2)Shuva's Recommendation:- Doctor WhoIf you enjoyed this episode, please leave a review on Apple Podcasts.Interested in starting your own podcast? The Readers are still social distancing but manage to discuss everything from Patronus texting to Snape’s new position. Which is more violent, Harry Potter or American History X? How does J K Rowling commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts? Believe it or not, they manage to argue while being in total agreement! Death Readers theme "Magical Dirt" by Sir Cubworth
We're back for our first old-fashioned podcast of the new decade and we kick off the show with a surprise return to talk about Control! Nick is deep into The Long Dark, Krispy was inspired to jump into Resident Evil 2 Remake following our recent Project M, and Chris Davis is ready to die on the hill for Black Mesa! Brad, inspired by praise on ResetEra, tried SaGa: Scarlet Grace; an inspired but strange new JRPG that hit in late 2019. Also, (really good) inappropriate jokes are made and we're so sorry...
DR RANDY SHORT, Russell Simmons and 50 Cent accuse Oprah of bashing Black men in sexual misconduct documentary --- LISTEN NOW --- BEFORE THIS INTERVIEW, I THOUGHT THIS OF OPRAH. SEE BELOW. Fortunately, after spending time with Judge Joe Brown and Dr. Randy Short, I have a few NEW thoughts to consider. My Oprah? My OPRAH is a woman burdened with the responsibility to save a lot of BLK Americans who needed her to save them from themselves. AT AN EARLY AGE I LEARNED ... America has always trusted black women to do THEIR work, but it's always come at the expense of their well-being. This notion goes all the way back to the days of slavery, when enslaved black women were forced to breast-feed their slave master's babies with their own breast milk. Known as wet-nursing, this exploited the motherhood of black women while forcing them to disregard their own children.Since then, black women have been at the forefront of social movements in America — dating back at least to Harriet Tubman's leadership of the Underground Railroad, which helped tons of people escape from slavery.Today's Sponsor: MY OLIVE LEAF (MYOLIVELEAF.BIZ)PLEASE SIGN CAB CALLOWAY'S PETITION ... http://chng.it/tGyqJT9Mlike . share . subscribe . leave a comment _https://www.spreaker.com/user/valeriedenisejones _ The Judge Joe Brown Show - Fridays 4p EST - StudioLine: (929) 477-1167Twitter : @judgejoebrowntv / @valeriedenise / @phelothegreat

Mature adults and millennials - two distinct groups with different housing needs =.
I first met Anna after seeing a piece by CTV Barrie on how an area student landlord was switching gears and renting to seniors instead, link below. Anna has been in the student rental business for 25 years and after the straw that broke the camel’s back, another abused rental property by the student tenants and thousands of repairs and clean up bills, she switched gears in renting to seniors. As a student rental investor myself, I immediately reached out to AMR Property Management to speak to owner Anna Moore and here is our recorded discussion. Anna is a veteran business owner with a successful printing company, she currently manages 200 doors, many are her own investments, and she vacations much of the winter in the Bahamas and Europe in the summer. Yet another lifestyle success story for you listeners as it’s not about the investment, it’s about what our investments afford us in lifestyles and Anna is living the dream plus her business is every improving as she goes from five senior rentals to offering as many as 50 this spring. Without further ado, I give you Anna Moore of AMR Property Management Link to CTV coverage of Anna: Company turning student homes into shared housing for seniors Website: www.amrpropertymanagement.com

As a parent it's important to keep track of who your kids are hanging out with, what kind of music they're into and what bad things they might be getting up to. Adults should be good role models for their children by exhibiting appropriate behavior at all times. Encouraging 10-year olds to share ring tones with bad words and sexual references might not be a good example of being a mature adult role model.
