Karmic astrologer Dora Jones believes, And I quote; “Each of us comes into life with a promise, a gift, a passion, and a deep, heartfelt desire.” The promise is what you have come to life to master. You have promised to overcome, resolve, or heal some aspect of your consciousness. As you face your life's experiences, you are given the opportunity to fulfill this promise. Your responses to your experiences determine whether you fulfill or break the promise you have made to yourself. The gift is what you have come to give to life. It is the cornerstone of self-determination and self-actualization. The gift constitutes your talents and your abilities. The unique things you do as only you can do them. The gift is enhanced or diminished by how you do what you do and how you share those things that you do naturally or well with others. Passion represents those things you pursue for the sheer joy of it- those things you do that make you feel alive and meaningful, valuable, and worthy. Most of us are frightened away from or talked out of our passion. We are made to feel it is inappropriate or useless. The heartfelt desire is the thing you most want to experience in life. Some want love. Others want acceptance. Most of us want both. We face difficulty not losing our identity or integrity in pursuit of heartfelt desire. My guest of the week, Ms. Quay Holland, WELLTH Coach and Rebalance Strategist, walks us through her process of addressing each of the above attributes. This week, we included an authentic role-play exercise to demonstrate her healing process with her process. Take a listen, learn things, be inspired, and share.

In the words of life coach and award-winning author Iyanla Vanzant in her book Until Today, written in 2000. “Society, with its structures, expectations, and divisions, has fostered certain ideas about women that are not always flattering. Many people believe that strong women are not feminine and that assertive women cannot be trusted. My all-time favorite is that women who exhibit any degree of clarity about who they are and what they want are dangerous. We won't bother to mention the myths that women are not as smart as men or cannot handle money. The point is that some people believe these things about women, and some are women! Labels define. Often, labels set up expectations. Labels prescribe how much, how little, and sometimes how long a thing can be used. In order for a woman to realize that she is more than a mother, more than a wife, more than what she earns or what she does to earn a living, she must know her own worth. It means she must test herself and her limits. A woman must learn to describe herself and establish her own expectations. A woman must encourage herself. She must support and nurture herself. She must be willing to be disliked. She must be willing to violate the descriptions and confines placed on her. Until today you may have placed defining, confining labels of unworthiness on women. For today, think of women as people; think of women as human beings and doing. They are the divine energy of God.” My guest is doing the work today, paying the dues, and gracefully managing the rewards. Meet Ms. Felicity Smith, a phenomenal woman with a servant's heart. The first time I met her, she was like a breath of fresh air. Her story will amaze and encourage and excite anyone who has ever felt left out, left behind, or left over. But let me let her connect with you personally. Enjoy the podcast.

Move over Rami Malek as Mr. Robot. There's a new ethical hacker in town, bucking stereotypes about women in STEM – and did we mention that aside from her work protecting systems from dangerous hackers, she has also been an actor? Today's guest is Gabrielle Botbol, an offensive security consultant at Desjardins. Growing up in France, she was encouraged to pursue her interests in literature and acting but gravitated to technology and designing websites. As is a common theme among women we've interviewed, girls are often discouraged from pursuing their passion for STEM and encouraged to work in more traditionally female-dominated industries. Luckily, that is now starting to change. Gabrielle discusses how she left the world of acting to become a cybersecurity pen (penetration) tester hired to hack systems for organizations to make those systems hack-proof against those with malicious intentions. As she explains to our host, she is nice and one of the good guys…but don't mistake her kindness for weakness! She will quickly discover how, when and where you plan to attack if you're an unethical hacker. That's why companies and government agencies turn to her for her expertise. In addition to being a cybersecurity pen tester, Gabrielle is a blogger and podcast host (of CS by BG) with close to a decade of experience in cybersecurity. She serves as an advisory board member for the Canadian Cybersecurity Community, the first and most active Canadian cybersecurity network in Canada, as well as the Cyber School. She also recently became a mentor for CyberGirls, a 1-year fellowship equipping young women with globally sought-after cybersecurity skills. Hear from our very own Ms. Robot about the important work she does and why it's so in demand in this exciting new episode.

Iylanla Vanzant says in her, Until today, published in 2000, " When you are the light, you cannot complain about the darkness. The only thing you can do is shine. You must shine brightly in everything you do, and everywhere you go. That is your job. When you are light, you must realize that without the darkness, you would have no meaning. Until today you may have believed that the light must come to you. You may have complained about the darkness around you and how it seems that you are the only one trying to make the darkness brighter. Just for today, be devoted to being the light. Give of yourself without the expectation of receiving light or recognition or rewards in return." That Does Suit Madame, a Podcast about "Are You Being Served?"
“While you're there, powder your nose- it's shiny!” We've reached the final season of AYBS! Superfan Mr. Ben sent the podcast a message that he works out at the old BBC building where AYBS was shot in London! Who originally sang the “New York, New York” song? Play along! Mr. Brandon imitates Liza Minelli (of course he does). There was almost a two year gap between Season 9 and Season 10 of AYBS. Did the cast know that Season 10 would be their final year making the program? Mrs. Slocombe has been out sick for two weeks- but no one know why. His ex-husband's wilted …flowers. A new retirement scheme means Mr. S has to retire. Is forced-retirement still a thing today? …and it was just an ingrown toenail. Mrs. Slocombe: the customer hunter. The use of the word “spinster” on the show. “It's the Dolly Parton look!”. Slocombe shows up as a cleaning lady with a Cockney accent. Why was banging gun into the crack of the floor so profound? Meet Ms. Featherston, formerly of Toiletries, who is replacing Mrs. Slocombe. “The customer is always right” is NOT actually the original saying. Then Slocombe is an Italian cook in the Canteen! It's Season 10 and we get Mr. Humphries in drag playing “Blanche”, wife of a Member of Parliament. Blanche looks like Tootsie (who was very popular at the time). We -almost- get a reference to the podcast's name! “A HANDBAG”?! We have no idea what this phrase is about. Help us, Unanimous. Blanche's husband is right down the middle- bisexual? Featherston is finally put into her place… with a shiny nose. During this taping, Wendy Richard had just start her multi-decade run as Pauline Fowler on East Enders. Is Season 10 a victory lap for the show? Introducing “The #Unanimous Episode”: after we cover the final episode of Season 10, Mr. Jeff and Brandon will create a Unanimous-focused show where we hear from YOU! Leave us a voicemail and tell us why you love AYBS. We want to hear from you! Researchers have found that sex traffickers often target children and youth with a history of maltreatment, sexual abuse, low self-esteem, and minimal social support. About 10,000 children a year suffer the horrors of commercial sexual exploitation in the United States. Each victim on average is forced to have sex more than five times a day. Yet the buyers who fuel the child sex trade are seldom held accountable. Most just blend back into their families, jobs, and neighborhoods. My guest at the table today is a wonderful resource to educate us about the human trafficking space. Beyond that, she is also an expert and advocate in the world of Foster Care. And yes, there is a relationship between foster care and human trafficking. I am grateful for her expertise and her willingness to share the table today. In this episode I tell my story of how a little girl in Belfast found wrestling and fell in love with WCW and Macho Man. How a bereavement as a teen made me switch channels to WWE and become a goth, how as an adult Chris Jericho in New Japan helped me find wrestling outside of WWE and finally how AEW has made me invested in wrestling again and why I love this promotion so much. Meet my long term friend and fellow Mistress, Ms Tytania, based near Canary Wharf, London. Ms Tytania discovered the London fetish scene 20 years ago and never looked back. She is a professional Mistress based in London; a Femdom film producer and performer and also an activist and academic in the subject of - yes, you guessed it- Femdom. As a lifestyle dominant woman, fetish is in most aspects of her life. She is renowned for her Japanese Rope Bondage skills, barber fetish and for her fictional female guerrilla terror group, the Urban Chick Supremacy Cell - UC-SC. She never tires of reinventing new ways to express female supremacy. We discuss fetish and kink and chat about clinets and sessions including the Martian King and a rope session that could have gone disastrously wrong, but the rope bunny loved it!We also reminisce about the David and Goliath battle won by Ms Tytania against ATVOD, a government appointed quango that had a strange impulsion to watch and criticise female produced domination porn in the greatest of detail!Ms Tytania's LinksTwitterATVOD vs Ms TytaniaUC-SC
