MF equity inflows fall 40% m-o-m to one year low amid uncertainty Volatility in equity markets and concerns over economic growth dampened inflows into mutual fund schemes, including SIPs, in May. Equity inflows fell to a one-year low, dropping 40 per cent month-on-month (m-o-m) to ₹22,908 crore in May from ₹38,440 crore in April, as investor sentiment was hit by a market downturn driven by persistent foreign portfolio outflows and heightened volatility, according to AMFI data released on Wednesday. Hybrid schemes inflow nearly halved m-o-m to ₹10,560 crore ( ₹20,565 crore), while debt funds registered an outflow of ₹96,949 crore as against an inflow of ₹2.47 lakh crore in May. Meta and Reliance Industries partner to develop 168 MW, AI-enabled data centre in Gujarat Meta Inc is set to have its own 168-MW capacity AI-enabled data centre in Jamnagar set up by Reliance Industries in India within two years. The new data centre, separate from the 1 GW data centre announced by Reliance in 2025, will act as part of Meta's global infrastructure, supporting its core business and AI compute needs. As the first built-to-suit data centre capacity in India for Meta, the project underlines India's emergence as a global hub for AI infrastructure. Meta will lease capacity from the facility, expanding the company's global infrastructure, supporting its core business and AI compute needs while Reliance Industries will provide end-to-end services for the data centre lifecycle. Starlink licensing in India stuck amidst geopolitical strains Industry experts estimate geopolitical developments to have soured Starlink's chances of getting licensing approvals in India, even as the company rubbishes “unsubstantiated claims” of a regulatory freeze. Following news reports that the Indian government had frozen approvals for Starlink's commercial operations, Lauren Dreyer, Vice President of Company Business Operations stated on X, “Starlink remains in active and productive discussions with the Government of India contrary to misleading stories based upon unsubstantiated claims from anonymous sources.” However, industry stakeholders speaking to businessline said Starlink's approval procedure which was considered smooth-sailing until last year has hit a rut in terms of security checks. Many attributed this to the geopolitical developments, particularly in terms of the India-US relations. Zoho launches hardware play with designed-in-India server Nathu La Eyeing tech sovereignty in the data hardware space and in a step to build the full enterprise technology stack, Zoho has launched its indigenously designed server Nathu La. Zoho says with Nathu La it has achieved equivalent performance, with 12-18 per cent lower power consumption and 20-30 per cent lower total cost of ownership (TCO). In Zoho's marquee style, the R&D work for the server platform was entirely done out of Nagpur by local talent recruited and trained by the company. The centre was set up in 2020 with an eye to play the long game in enterprise hardware. The Nathu La server motherboard and chassis platform is the result of over five years of R&D across hardware, firmware, and systems management. Based on Intel® Xeon® 6 Processors, the server is designed to optimise performance for virtualisation (VM), High Performance Computing (HPC), AI inference, and storage applications.

Can businesses embrace AI without surrendering control over their data, technology choices, and future direction? In this episode of Tech Talks Daily, I sit down with Sachin Agrawal, Managing Director of Zoho UK, to discuss one of the biggest challenges facing organizations today. As AI adoption accelerates, many leaders are finding themselves caught between the pressure to innovate and the responsibility to maintain trust, transparency, and control. Sachin shares his perspective on what separates successful AI adoption from costly experimentation. Drawing on his experience leading Zoho's growth in the UK, he explains why organizations achieving the best results are focusing on clearly defined business outcomes rather than chasing headlines or reacting to fear of missing out. We discuss how AI is already improving customer service, sales operations, application development, and decision-making, while also highlighting the importance of digital maturity as a foundation for meaningful AI success. A major theme throughout our conversation is the growing concern around black-box AI systems. Sachin explains why transparency, explainability, and contextual intelligence are becoming increasingly important for businesses operating in regulated environments. We explore how organizations can build trust by keeping AI close to the systems where their data already resides, thereby creating more auditable, accountable outcomes. The discussion also turns to digital sovereignty, a topic that has rapidly moved from technical teams into boardroom conversations. Sachin outlines the different dimensions of sovereignty, including data residency, infrastructure, model choice, intelligence ownership, and vendor flexibility. As geopolitical tensions, regulatory expectations, and concerns about technology concentration grow, organizations are taking a closer look at how dependent they want to become on a small number of technology providers. We also examine whether AI will strengthen the dominance of major technology firms or create new opportunities for diverse software providers. Sachin argues that while the largest players may own much of the underlying infrastructure, customers are increasingly focused on practical outcomes, transparency, and flexibility rather than simply choosing the biggest platform. Along the way, we discuss cloud fragmentation, governance, responsible AI adoption, data privacy, and the importance of challenging AI rather than unquestioningly trusting its outputs. Sachin offers practical advice for leaders who want to balance innovation with accountability while maintaining independence in an increasingly interconnected technology environment. As AI continues to reshape business software and digital operations, how can organizations remain agile without sacrificing control? And what role will digital sovereignty play in determining who succeeds in the next era of enterprise technology?

Workforce security in healthcare is no longer just about compliance—it's about creating a seamless, secure digital experience for employees and patients.  In this episode, host Sandy Vance chats with Chandramouli Dorai, Chief Evangelist - Cybersecurity Solutions and Digital Signatures at Zoho.com. Today, they will explore how password management, secure browsers, multi-factor authentication (MFA), identity and access management (IAM), and identity verification in document signing all come together to build a zero-trust, future-ready healthcare workforce.  Healthcare organizations are under constant pressure to strengthen cybersecurity without slowing down clinicians and staff.  In this episode, they talk about: Healthcare organizations face a constant challenge in balancing strong cybersecurity protections with the need for convenience and productivity. Weak and reused passwords remain one of the most common vulnerabilities across organizations, despite years of awareness efforts. The 2024 Change Healthcare cyberattack demonstrated how a single account without multi-factor authentication can lead to massive data breaches and operational disruption. Employees often disable or avoid MFA because they perceive it as adding friction to their daily workflows. Modern authentication strategies must tightly integrate password management, single sign-on, and MFA to reduce friction while improving security. Passwordless authentication methods such as passkeys, Face ID, and Touch ID are helping organizations improve both security and user experience. Organizations adopting passwordless authentication are seeing measurable reductions in login time and increased user adoption. Identity and access management platforms can enforce role-based and time-based access controls to reduce unnecessary exposure to sensitive systems. AI-powered behavioral analytics can detect suspicious login activity and help organizations respond more quickly to threats. Secure onboarding and offboarding processes are critical for protecting healthcare data and preventing unauthorized access. Many healthcare organizations still operate in complex legacy environments, making interoperability and integration essential for workforce security solutions. CIOs should approach AI adoption strategically by first understanding their current environment, educating users, and implementing changes in phases. A Little About Mouli: Chandramouli Dorai (Mouli) is the chief evangelist for cybersecurity solutions and digital signatures at Zoho Corporation. Mouli brings over 12 years of experience leading marketing and product strategy at Zoho. He carries an active interest in topics like workforce productivity, security, trust, and compliance, often sharing his thoughts and expertise on social media platforms like X and LinkedIn.  “The greatest example is the 2024 Change Healthcare breach, which happened because of one compromised account. That one account lacked multi-factor authentication, which was a loose end, and the attacker was able to get into the network and get away with millions of confidential records. The major problem is the trade-off between security and convenience.”

The Buzz: ServiceNow makes the case for “Agentic Business” as it repositions as an AI governance platform

ChannelBuzz.ca

Play Episode Listen Later May 6, 2026 4:57

Reporting live from ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2026 conference in Las Vegas, the message from CEO Bill McDermott and NVIDIA‘s Jensen Huang was clear: the era of AI pilots is over. ServiceNow is repositioning itself as the AI Control Tower — the governance layer that sits above every AI agent an organization is running, regardless of where those agents were built. McDermott’s framing centered on what he called the “AI blind spot” — the growing reality that most enterprises are deploying agents without meaningful visibility into what those agents are actually doing. A live demo on stage showed a real-time prompt injection attack being detected and shut down by the platform. The most concrete channel announcement is the new “Go Live AI” offer — a total satisfaction guarantee committing to 100 days to production. Not a pilot, not a proof of concept. For solution providers, this is a commercial tool designed to help move customers from evaluation to commitment by absorbing some of the delivery risk. Jensen Huang’s argument was that AI should be used to “elevate ambition,” not just reduce costs — a framing that gives partners a more expansive conversation to have with clients about what outcomes are now possible. The morning’s most compelling demo came from FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam, who showed ServiceNow’s new AI agent Otto resolving a distribution hub staffing gap in minutes that historically took three days. FedEx reported 2,000 incidents offloaded, 3,000-plus hours saved, and 85 percent accuracy in production. For Canadian solution providers, ServiceNow is offering two new tools: a governance platform to make AI deployments defensible, and a commercial guarantee to make those deployments sellable. More on what this means for the Canadian market in this week’s In The Channel interviews from the show. In brief:  Zoho research reveals Canada's “false comfort zone” in workforce security. Released ahead of World Password Day, Zoho's State of Workforce Password Security 2026 report—based on over 3,300 respondents including 174 in Canada—finds that while the Canadian attack rate (30%) is slightly better than the global average, significant vulnerabilities remain. The standout finding is the AI belief-to-deployment gap: while 89% of Canadian organizations believe AI will strengthen their security posture, only 46% are actually ready to deploy AI-powered security today. The primary blockers aren’t budget, but legacy infrastructure (52%) and migration complexity (48%). The report also highlights that 73% of Canadian organizations lack complete identity visibility across their workforce, leaving them exposed to orphaned accounts and unmanaged third-party access in highly integrated North American supply chains. Syncro and Guardz embed cybersecurity directly into the MSP workflow. Announced this morning, the two companies have launched a native integration that brings the Guardz cybersecurity platform inside the Syncro RMM/PSA environment. The move is designed to eliminate the “toggle tax” of managing separate security consoles, but the real channel hook is the automated billing: the integration uses Syncro's Universal Billing to automate client invoicing for security services, removing the manual reconciliation that often eats into MSP margins. Coming on the heels of the Guardz 2026 MSP Threat Report—which found that 90% of SMBs have at least one user with compromised credentials—the partnership aims to make proactive security a standard, billable part of the daily workflow. Huntress distribution deals are now officially live. The managed security platform's expansion into major distribution is now official. Huntress has signed deals with Ingram Micro, Vertosoft, Liquid PC, and QBS Software. For the Canadian reseller community, the Ingram Micro partnership is the headline, providing a more streamlined procurement path for the Huntress Agentic Security Platform and its 24/7 SOC. The move signals a transition for Huntress from an MSP-centric “challenger” brand to a broader mid-market and public sector player, using distribution scale to reach resellers who haven’t traditionally played in the “security-only” vendor space. Kiteworks names Oracle veteran Julia Rasekhi to lead partner strategy. The Content Communications Governance (CCG) platform—which has a significant Canadian footprint—has appointed Julia Rasekhi as its new senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Strategy. Rasekhi joins after 17 years at Oracle, and her mandate is to accelerate a transition toward partner-led growth for the company’s regulatory compliance and file sharing platform. As enterprise security increasingly moves from “network” to “content,” the hire suggests Kiteworks is looking to scale its GSI and reseller relationships to meet new data sovereignty and CPCSC requirements in Canada and globally. Read Full Transcript Welcome to The Buzz from ChannelBuzz.ca, I’m Robert Dutt, today is Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and here’s what’s happening in the channel today. I’m reporting live from Las Vegas, where ServiceNow’s annual Knowledge conference got underway this morning with what may be one of the boldest keynotes I’ve seen at an enterprise software show in years. CEO Bill McDermott took the stage alongside NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang to make a simple but sweeping argument: the AI pilot era is over, and “Agentic Business” — where autonomous AI agents actually do the work — is here now. The repositioning McDermott is making is significant. ServiceNow is no longer pitching itself as just a workflow platform. It is now positioning itself as the AI Control Tower — the governance layer that sits above all the AI your organization is running, whether it was built on ServiceNow or not. The framing McDermott used was the “AI Blind Spot” — the idea that most organizations are deploying agents without any real visibility into what those agents are actually doing. A live demo on stage showed a real-time prompt injection attack being detected and shut down by the platform. The point was clear: if you don’t have a control layer, you don’t have an AI strategy, you have an AI liability. The most concrete announcement for the channel is what ServiceNow is calling its “Go Live AI” offer — essentially a total satisfaction guarantee. This is, as far as I know, the first time a major enterprise software company has put a guarantee like this in writing. The commitment is 100 days to production — not a pilot, not a proof of concept — an actual deployed agentic workflow. If you’re a partner trying to move customers off the fence on AI investments, this is a commercial tool. ServiceNow is essentially absorbing some of the delivery risk to help you close. Jensen Huang’s contribution to the morning was framing the economic case. He pushed back on the idea that AI is purely a cost-cutting play, arguing instead that enterprises should be using AI to “elevate ambition” — to do things they couldn’t do at all before, not just do existing things cheaper. The NVIDIA partnership is powering a new layer ServiceNow is calling the AI Factory, which provides the compute and model infrastructure underneath the platform’s agentic layer. The most vivid demo of the morning came from FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam, who walked through a live scenario showing ServiceNow’s new AI agent — called Otto — solving a staffing gap at a FedEx distribution hub in real time. The gap that historically took three days to resolve was closed in minutes. FedEx reported 2,000 incidents offloaded, over 3,000 hours saved, and 85 percent accuracy. Those are the kinds of numbers that end the “pilot conversation” fast. For Canadian solution providers, the takeaway is this: ServiceNow is giving the channel two new tools. A governance platform to make AI deployments defensible, and a commercial guarantee to make those deployments sellable. I’ll have more on what this means for Canadian partners specifically in my In The Channel interviews from the show later this week. And there was plenty going on aside from here at Knwoledge 26. In brief today:  First, New research from Zoho highlights a “false comfort zone” for Canadian workforce security, with local attack rates sitting at 30 percent. While 89 percent of Canadians believe AI will strengthen their security, only 46 percent are ready to deploy it due to legacy infrastructure bottlenecks. Second, Syncro and Guardz have announced a major partnership, embedding the Guardz cybersecurity platform directly into the Syncro MSP workflow. The integration includes automated client invoicing through Syncro's Universal Billing to help MSPs capture security margin without the reconciliation headache. Third, Huntress distribution deals are now officially live with partners like Ingram Micro, Vertosoft, and Liquid PC. For the Canadian channel, the Ingram Micro relationship is the headline, signaling Huntress’s move to scale beyond its MSP roots into the broader mid-market. And finally, Kiteworks has appointed 17-year Oracle veteran Julia Rasekhi as its new SVP of Strategic Partnerships. This newly created role is a clear signal that the content governance player is shifting toward an aggressive, partner-led growth strategy in regulated markets. On this episode of the Woodard Report podcast, Joe speaks with Matt Tait about Decimal's evolution from a fast-growing, tech-enabled CAS practice into a franchise model designed to empower accounting and bookkeeping firm owners. Matt shares why Decimal sold its direct services business to focus entirely on helping small firms scale through a turnkey operating system that combines staffing, AI-powered tools, technology, processes, and community support. The conversation also explores the future of the accounting industry, including the impact of AI, private equity, outsourcing, and the growing need for firm owners to think like business owners rather than practitioners. About Matt Tait Matt Tait has spent his career as an entrepreneur, having previously launched two technology companies. He's always focused on helping businesses, making it easier for them to operate while creating great customer experiences. Continuing a people-first theme driven by technology, Matt launched Decimal with his Co-Founder Jacob Cloran to solve financial operations, bookkeeping, and tax for small and medium-sized businesses. In this episode of the CPQ Podcast, Frank Sohn speaks with Tyler Moini, Founder and Managing Director of Expedite Commerce, about how the company has evolved since its earlier positioning around composable commerce and API-first architecture. Tyler explains why Expedite Commerce now describes its approach as a governed execution platform, designed to help organizations manage commercial processes across pricing, quoting, contracts, subscriptions, billing, and asset-related workflows. A central topic in the discussion is Genesis, the company's underlying AI system. Tyler outlines why Expedite Commerce sees AI not as a separate add-on, but as part of the foundation of the platform. The conversation looks at how this approach is intended to support user guidance, manage commercial state across the revenue lifecycle, and help organizations handle complex selling environments with more structure and consistency. The episode also covers the company's target market, including mid-market and early enterprise organizations with complex revenue models, such as subscription businesses, manufacturers, and companies managing configured products, services, warranties, or serialized assets. Tyler also discusses support for CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho, as well as ERP integrations with systems including SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite, Oracle, and Workday. In addition, Frank and Tyler discuss e-commerce capabilities, billing support for more complex pricing models, and how AI may affect the future of revenue management and CPQ. The conversation provides useful context for listeners interested in CPQ, revenue lifecycle management, AI in CPQ, subscription management, digital commerce, and enterprise sales technology. If you follow developments in CPQ software, AI-driven quoting, revenue management platforms, or enterprise monetization, this episode offers a detailed look at how one vendor is approaching those challenges today.

In this special episode, Pete is joined by Raju Vegesna, Chief Evangelist at Zoho, live from the annual Zoho Day analyst 2026 event and update in Austin, Texas! Together they explore Zoho's 30-year journey from shipping software on floppy disks to delivering integrated SaaS platforms and now AI-driven solutions, and how the company's distinct culture and values have underpinned that evolution.  The conversation explores the future of SaaS and AI. Raju challenges the narrative that “SaaS is dead,” arguing instead that commoditization of software and AI is a net positive: as costs drop, access and productivity rise across society. They discuss the shift from productivity gains to intelligence gains as the new ROI in software, and how connected data and platforms are foundational for meaningful AI insights. They talk about the gap between AI hype and reality, why many AI projects are not yet delivering ROI, and how we're still in the “plumbing” and protocol phase of this wave and the emerging importance of data and intelligence sovereignty, including why some countries and large enterprises may push back toward on‑premise or sovereign AI. Plus Raju offers guidance for business leaders who feel stuck or behind on AI: it's still early, the ground is shifting rapidly, and the current explosion of innovation will be followed by consolidation, creating a window of opportunity for fast movers.  Connect with Raju: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rajuvegesna1/ X: https://x.com/rajuv Website: www.zoho.com  Connect with the show: LinkedIn:  http://linkedin.com/company/hr-payroll-2-0 X: https://x.com/HRPayroll2_0  X: https://x.com/PeteTiliakos  X: https://x.com/JulieFer_HR BlueSky: @hrpayroll2o.bsky.social YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@HRPAYROLL2_0  WRKDefined Podcast Network: https://wrkdefined.com/podcast/hr-payroll-20  Thank you to our marquee sponsors for powering the HR & Payroll 2.0 podcast forward!  G-P ‘Globalization Partners': https://www.globalization-partners.com/ OneSource Virtual: https://hubs.ly/Q03YFNR90 Zoho: https://www.zoho.com/press.html Thank you to our ‘wizard behind the curtain' and show producer Ryan Kielma: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryan-kielma/

From orchestration and data lakes to edge computing and mobile‑only HR, they explore how frontline employees, real‑time payments, and smartphones at the “edge” are reshaping how work gets done  Holger argues HR must lean into technology, get closer to IT and data governance, and use AI to turn static policies and PDFs into conversational, employee-friendly experiences, while protecting trust, security, and compliance.   Connect with Holger: LinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/holgermueller/ X: https://x.com/holgermu BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/holgerbsky.bsky.social Constellation Research: https://www.constellationr.com/  Connect with the show: LinkedIn:  http://linkedin.com/company/hr-payroll-2-0 X: @HRPayroll2_0  X: @PeteTiliakos  X: @JulieFer_HR BlueSky: @hrpayroll2o.bsky.social YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@HRPAYROLL2_0  WRKDefined Podcast Network: https://wrkdefined.com/podcast/hr-payroll-20  Thank you to our marquee sponsors for powering the HR & Payroll 2.0 podcast forward!  G-P ‘Globalization Partners': https://www.globalization-partners.com/ OneSource Virtual: https://hubs.ly/Q03YFNR90 Zoho: https://www.zoho.com/press.html Thank you to our ‘wizard behind the curtain' and show producer Ryan Kielma: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryan-kielma/

Acquisition activity—from Sage moving to acquire Fyle, to SYSPRO acquiring DATASCOPE, Zendesk completing its acquisition of HyperArc, and Contentsquare acquiring Loris AI—signals a continued emphasis on capability-led expansion tightly aligned to core use cases. In parallel, AI product announcements from NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Zoho, and Zendesk emphasize connectors, agents, and embedded intelligence designed to improve productivity within existing workflows rather than displace them. Finally, the case of AAON underscores the operational reality behind these trends: ERP value is ultimately realized not through announcements or AI features alone, but through disciplined execution, stabilization, and long-term operational turnarounds—particularly in complex manufacturing environments where recovery often matters more than rapid transformation. In today's episode, we invited a panel of industry analysts for a live discussion on LinkedIn to analyze current enterprise software stories. MSP AI Risk Management as Shadow AI Adoption Reshapes Trust and Automation

Business of Tech

Artificial intelligence adoption is accelerating without formal ownership as employees, customers, and patients integrate AI tools into daily decisions. Surveys from Gallup show 45% of U.S. employees use AI at work at least occasionally, while research cited by OpenAI indicates roughly 60% of American adults recently used AI for health-related questions. Zoho and Arion Research report that 41% of organizations have strengthened privacy measures after adopting AI, reflecting growing concern about data exposure and accountability. For MSPs, the shift places liability closer to the systems being used rather than the vendors supplying them.Trust in digital media is also eroding as AI-generated content becomes harder to distinguish from authentic material. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri states that assuming photos or videos reflect real events is no longer reliable and suggests verification at the point of capture rather than labeling generated content. This approach reframes trust as a technical system rather than a social assumption. For IT providers, the issue extends beyond social platforms to security footage, compliance evidence, training data, and any asset where authenticity must be demonstrated. At the same time, automation and AI training are converging on the same constraint: expert judgment. HireArt's 2025 AI Trainer Compensation Report shows subject-matter experts earning $60 to more than $180 per hour, compared with under $20 for generalist data labelers, reflecting the cost of errors in regulated or technical fields. Kaseya's 2025 EMEA MSP Benchmark Report finds that while nearly 75% of MSPs expect revenue growth, 45% face staffing and skills shortages, increasing reliance on automation built on accurate data and curated exceptions.Major vendors are embedding judgment directly into platforms.
