Friday on AOA, powered by Cenex, we start the show with thoughts on weather premium in the markets and perspective on price action ahead of the holiday weekend with DuWayne Bosse from Bolt Marketing. In Segment Two, we have a conversation about the dairy industry, the reconciliation process and more with Paul Bleiberg, Executive Vice President, Government Relations at the National Milk Producers Federation. In Segment Three, we have a conversation about reconciliation moving to the Senate, the Farm Bill, mental health awareness in agriculture and much more with Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS). Then we close the show with an update and comments on the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission report released on Thursday with Caleb Ragland, President of the American Soybean Association.
Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) joins the Rundown to discuss his concerns about former President Biden's declining health during his time in the White House, plus what he hopes Congress can do to help boost our economy. We've all heard about or experienced the challenges of raising teenagers. Besides the anxiety that comes with school, friends, and all those hormonal changes, parents today must also help their kids navigate the stresses associated with cell phones, social media, and other new technologies. However, clinical psychologist, family therapist, and mother Dr. Sheryl Ziegler suggests that the teenage years might be easier if more attention is given to the younger years. Dr. Ziegler joins the Rundown to discuss her new book, The Crucial Years: The Essential Guide to Mental Health & Modern Puberty in Middle Childhood, Ages 6-12, and why she is advocating for a paradigm shift in how parents prepare their kids for adolescence. Commentary from the host of “Tomi Lahren is Fearless on Outkick,” Tomi Lahren, on a new study about the difference between men and women. Learn more about your ad choices. Confirmation hearings begin today for President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet. With only six days until Inauguration Day, lawmakers are hopeful some nominations will be confirmed before then. Trump's pick for Secretary of Defense, former FOX News host Pete Hegseth, is kicking off the week of hearings and is expected to receive pushback from Senate Democrats. The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: 4:05pm- Behind Closed Doors, Democrats Anxious About Harris: Alexander Bolton of The Hill writes: “Behind the public jubilation over Vice President Harris's swift rise to become their party's likely nominee for president, Democratic lawmakers are privately anxious about her prospects of defeating former President Trump, acknowledging she is largely untested as a candidate and faces serious challenges. The anxiety, for the most part, has been set aside out of a deep sense of relief that President Biden decided to drop his reelection bid. After months of unease over the 81-year-old incumbent, Democratic lawmakers are glad to rally behind Harris in hopes she will rev up Democratic donors along with young and minority voters. But concerns are already bubbling up over Harris's ability to connect as well as Biden did in 2020 with white working-class and union voters in three states that were critical to defeating Trump: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.” You can read the full article here: https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4795432-kamala-harris-democratic-anxiety/ 4:15pm- While speaking with Margaret Hoover of PBS, Democratic political strategist James Carville warned that Kamala Harris is likely “going to get slaughtered” when she is inevitably asked for policy specifics. 4:30pm- Rich tells Matt and Andrew that he will not be appearing on YouTube today because he recently had surgery for a deviated septum and can't stop blowing his nose! Gross! 4:40pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During one exchange, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated: “I believe that the Secret Service leadership made a political decision to deny these requests. And I think the Biden administration has been suffused with partisan politics.” Meanwhile, in a post on X, Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) reacted to what he experienced in the hearing: “We are 17 days out from the assassination attempt on Trump. I don't want conversations and processes—I want answers and accountability. Hiding behind a vague, slow-moving investigation is not going to cut it. We need full reform to the Secret Service and FBI now.” 4:50pm- David Propper of The New York Post writes: “Former President Donald Trump was briefly delayed by Secret Service agents from taking the stage at a conference in Nashville Saturday because of another security lapse, The Post has learned. The holdup was caused by two individuals who made their way around metal detectors inside the Music City Center where the 2024 bitcoin conference was held shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/07/29/us-news/secret-service-delayed-trump-from-taking-stage-at-nashville-conference-after-security-lapse-sources/
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (07/30/2024): 3:05pm- Newsom Pledges to Outlaw Parody: Earlier in the week, billionaire Elon Musk reposted a satirical campaign advertisement for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris—where she calls herself a diversity hire as well as a “deep state puppet.” In response, California Governor Gavin Newsom outrageously responded to Musk: "Manipulating a voice in an ‘ad' like this one should be illegal. I'll be signing a bill in a matter of weeks to make sure it is.” Musk quickly shot back: "I checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.” Will Newsom ban artificial intelligence generated parody in California? 3:30pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During his opening statement, Rowe said he “cannot defend” the rally's security failures. He explained: “What I saw made me ashamed.” In one notable exchange, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MI) grilled Rowe and expressed confusion as to how no one—despite the agency's failures—was fired. Hawley exclaimed: "The former President was shot! Just fire somebody!...We have people who are dead!" 4:05pm- Behind Closed Doors, Democrats Anxious About Harris: Alexander Bolton of The Hill writes: “Behind the public jubilation over Vice President Harris's swift rise to become their party's likely nominee for president, Democratic lawmakers are privately anxious about her prospects of defeating former President Trump, acknowledging she is largely untested as a candidate and faces serious challenges. Harris' now-inactive campaign website claims that ‘the LGBTQ+ community is exposed to higher rates of violence and assault in prison, and it is even more so with transgender individuals.' Harris, it says, would work as president to ‘reduce incarceration of LGBTQ+ individuals. Kamala understands the best way to address the issue is to seek alternatives to incarceration to prevent trans individuals from being incarcerated in the first place,' the site reads. ‘Kamala would also push to significantly reform our sentencing laws to further reduce sentences.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-harris-once-pledged-to-keep-transgender-people-out-of-prison-as-president?topStoryPosition=1 5:15pm- Please Pick Me! While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro exclaimed: “I've got a message to Donald Trump—stop sh** talking America.” In recent days, Shapiro has seemingly swung wildly to the left in attempting to appeal to Harris as a Vice Presidential pick. If he isn't ultimately selected, will his perception as a “moderate” be irreversibly damaged? Interestingly, of the Vice Presidential contenders, Mark Kelly enjoys the highest net favorability rating—is it a coincidence that he's also the only contender not regularly appearing on television or at rally's saying outlandish things to appease Harris' campaign? 5:40pm- Senator Roger Marshall—United States Senator from Kansas & a Member of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss today's Senate hearing with Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe and FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate regarding the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, PA on July 13th. Sen. Marshall explains, “I'm pretty frustrated” with the answers they provided provided—“we need to bring in a crisis intervention team” and “clean house.” Plus, Sen. Marshall reacts to the U.S. national debt surpassing $35 trillion—with interest payments on that debt quickly approaching $1 trillion annually. 6:05pm- According to Reuters, more than 160,000 people joined a “white women for Kamala Harris” Zoom call on Monday. Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger notes, “I thought this was a joke at first but it's not: Kamala Harris' campaign is segregating its volunteers by race. These are the people who spent decades smearing their opponents as racists. Why do people tolerate this degrading treatment?” The Harris campaign bizarrely doubled-down on Tuesday—hosting a “White Dudes for Kamala” event. Joshua Robinson of The Wall Street Journal writes: “Are they really going to make Olympians—real live human beings—swim in the rancid, bacteria-infested waters of the River Seine?...Only in recent weeks have organizers confirmed that their ambitious, $1.5 billion plan to reduce the levels of harmful bacteria in the water is actually working. On a warm morning last week, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo underlined the point by delivering on her promise to go for a dip—and ignoring a social media campaign that urged grumpy Parisians to defecate in the water upstream.” You can read the full article here: https://www.wsj.com/sports/olympics/river-seine-paris-games-swimming-04397f56?mod=hp_lead_pos11

It has also sparked a Senate investigation. Google users were surprised to discover that the search engine's ‘Autocomplete' was apparently omitting suggested results related to the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.” Nesi continues: “Sen. Epstein of The New York Times writes: “When she ran for president the first time, Kamala Harris darted to the left as she fought for attention from the Democratic Party's liberal wing. After she dropped out, social and racial justice protests swept across the country in the summer of 2020, and Ms. Harris joined other Democrats in supporting progressive ideas during what appeared to be a national realignment on criminal justice. One presidential cycle later, with Vice President Harris less than a week into another race for the White House, video clips of her old statements and interviews are being weaponized as Republicans aim to define her as a left-wing radical who is out of step with swing voters… ‘The archive is deep,' said Brad Todd, a Republican strategist and ad maker who is working with David McCormick, the G.O.P. Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, among other campaigns. ‘We will run out of time before we run out of video clips of Kamala Harris saying wacky California liberal things. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (07/29/2024): 3:05pm- Venezuela autocrat Nicolas Maduro has been “elected” to his third consecutive six-year term as president. According to reports, Maduro won 51% of the final vote though there were, unsurprisingly, numerous irregularities which have led many to question the legitimacy of the results. Notably, the Biden-Harris administration limited sanctions on Venezuela and the Maduro regime in exchange for fair elections. It certainly doesn't seem like policy worked. 3:10pm- Kamala Harris' Prosecutorial Failures: In 2019, Vice news wrote “Jamal Trulove...was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to 50 years to life in prison, despite no physical evidence linking him to the crime. Trulove recalls then San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris ‘showed up at the two most pivotal times…she wanted to be present for a celebration of a conviction.' He was eventually exonerated and freed after over six years in prison, and won $13.1 million from the city of San Francisco.” You can read more here: https://www.vice.com/en/article/3azy98/kamala-harriss-office-sent-this-innocent-man-to-prison-now-hes-voting-for-her 3:15pm- While appearing on Fox News with Trey Gowdy, former Democrat Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard explained that Kamala Harris is more dangerous than Joe Biden—because she is an “ideologue.” 3:20pm- Packing the Supreme Court: In a newly recirculated clip, Kamala Harris says she is open to expanding the size of the Supreme Court. 3:30pm- Democrats have unveiled a new line of attack to hammer Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance—“he's weird!” Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL), Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) all echoed the same criticism of Vance while appearing on television over the weekend. 3:45pm- Tommy Pigott—Strategic Communications Director for the Republican National Committee—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Kamala Harris' past pledge to ban fracking. How will that impact her campaign in Pennsylvania specifically? Plus, a new Washington Post story warns that it could take days for Pennsylvania to declare a winner in the presidential race. 3:55pm- Secret Service Security Failures: Haley Willis, Aric Toler, David A. Fahrenthold, and Adam Goldman write: “Nearly 100 minutes before former President Donald J. Trump took the stage in Butler, Pa., a local countersniper who was part of the broader security detail let his colleagues know his shift was ending. ‘Guys I am out. Be safe,' he texted to a group of colleagues at 4:19 p.m. on July 13. He exited the second floor of a warehouse that overlooked the campaign rally site, leaving two other countersnipers behind. Outside, the officer noticed a young man with long stringy hair sitting on a picnic table near the warehouse. So at 4:26 p.m., he texted his colleagues about the man, who was outside the fenced area of the Butler Fair Show grounds where Mr. Trump was to appear. He said that the person would have seen him come out with his rifle and ‘knows you guys are up there.' The countersniper who sent the texts confirmed to The New York Times that the individual he saw was later identified as the gunman.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/28/us/politics/trump-shooting-thomas-crooks-secret-service.html 4:05pm- Google Autocomplete Erases Trump Assassination Attempt: Chris Nesi of The New York Post writes: “A key Google feature is failing to show results for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump—drawing claims from the former president's son that Big Tech companies are trying to influence the election. Rich notes that if Democrats feel as though Harris is incapable of defeating Trump, they won't hesitate to replace her as their candidate. Currently, Harris appears to be polling slightly better than Biden had been—though, Trump still leads in most swing states as well as nationally. 5:10pm- Karens for Kamala! While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro alleged Donald Trump intends to “use the department of justice to attack people who don't think like him.” He also inaccurately claimed Donald Trump wants to confiscate tips from waiters and waitresses, despite Trump's campaign pledge to end taxes on tips. It sounds like Shapiro desperately wants to be selected as Harris' running mate. 5:40pm- J.D. Tuccille of Reason writes: “Imagine you're a prominent ‘disinformation expert' once hired to head a government board to fight alleged untruths but unceremoniously dumped from the position when the board was dissolved amidst public outcry. Smeared oh so cruelly as the would-be chief censor of a government body tasked with policing people's speech, you sue your critics for defamation to set the record straight. And then…the judge tosses out your case, saying you and your stillborn board really were created to engage in censorship, and descriptions to that effect are accurate. Ouch, Nina Jankowicz. Today's show opens with the most recent hoax created by the Left and is being repeated by the Legacy/mainstream media and their paid stooges on social media. The hoax is called, Trump's Project 2025. It is nothing more than fearporn and a complete fabrication. Even the website is registered to the Joe Biden campaign. Marc Elias is nothing by a bed-wetting operative for the Marxist/socialists in the Democrat party, pushing that narrative. While we are distracted with the incompetence of Joe Biden, we may have missed a few things in the news. The House GOP revealed they have an email showing a connection between the office of New York Attorney General Lettia James and Mattew Colangelo as he moved into Alvin Bragg's NYC DA's office. Colangelo also listed two high-level White House operatives as professional references. Another item relates to California state senate bill 1414 which would make the selling of a child for the purposes of sex a felony. A group of LGBTQ activists testified that such a law would disproportionately attack their community. Now, why would they think that? The floating dock is going to be permanently dismantled after only operating for 21 days. Once again, that one story is a perfect microcosm for the Joe Biden presidency. Getting back to Joe Biden's problems, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was on MSNBC and was asked if she wanted Biden to still be the nominee. She had a politician's response. She said, “I want to him to do whatever he decides to do.” Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS), who is a practicing physician says he and the other doctors in the Legislature have talked about Joe's symptoms. They agree with the Parkinson's specialist who spoke on NBC NOW yesterday. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) told CNN he doesn't want Biden to run. He said, “Donald Trump is on track, I think, to win the election – and maybe win it by a landslide – and take with him the Senate and the House.” National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby went on with Brett Baier on Fox News to try to calm the reactions over dementia Joe. Unfortunately, Kirby tried using a story from two years ago as an example of how well he could handle a “middle of the night” emergency phone call. What's worse, the story was horrible even then. George Clooney just penned an Op-Ed in the NYT saying the Biden of the Thursday debate was the same Biden during the big fund-raiser her through three weeks earlier. Funny, no one mentioned Joe's cognitive issues then! George Stephanopoulos got caught on a TMZ hit saying he didn't think Biden can serve another four years. He has been made to apologize for telling the truth. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is daring Democrats to vote no on the SAVE Act. I also think the vote will be great campaign material and will provide a list of those who need to be primaried if any Republicans do not support the legislation. Finally, even on CNN, they are stating what many of us have said since she was selected as the VP. Donald Trump has been saying this on the campaign as well, that Kamala Harris was selected by Joe and an insurance policy to make sure he wasn't removed from the Presidency. The United States agriculture sector continues to struggle as water scarcity impacts various states and the need for a functional immigration system intensifies. As farmers lie at the heart of America -- between fueling our economy and our families -- Democrats and Republicans alike are committed to ensuring long-term sustainability and security of the U.S. Food system. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) discuss the farming issues crossing both of their borders, why having an efficient immigration system is intricately connected with farming in America, and why the purchasing of American farmland by China is also raising red flags for lawmakers. The House Select Subcommittee on Coronavirus held another hearing on Tuesday, trying to discern what the available intelligence tells us about China's involvement in the pandemic's origins. While some government agencies like the FBI and Department of Energy maintain that COVID-19 likely resulted from a lab leak in Wuhan, this week's hearing featured testimony from the former Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, who said the lab leak theory is the "only explanation" for the origins of the pandemic. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) joins the podcast to discuss the latest committee reports, why he believes there is a 'preponderance of evidence' supporting the lab leak theory, and how we can come to conclusion on COVID origins with China actively withholding information. Thirty years ago today, the Waco siege--a 51-day standoff between the Branch Davidians religious group and federal agents--came to a deadly end. Shortly after the FBI's raid on April 19th, 1993, a fire broke out inside the compound which killed 76 people. David Koresh, the cult's leader, was accused of stockpiling illegal weapons and abusing children. Retired ATF Senior Special Agent Blake Boteler was at the siege and joins the FOX News Rundown to discuss his experience, why he thinks the group committed mass suicide, and how the events sparked an anti-government movement. On today's Breitbart News Daily podcast - Merry Christmas! And that'll be $1.65 trillion. Yes, Washington has done it again. They've passed another omnibus spending bill with more of your money now going to Ukraine (with no accountability) and a bunch of other woke pork projects. In the meantime, border security is going backwards. And worst of all, 18 Republican Senators voted to pass it. Sad. Then, Pres. Biden gave a Christmas message without mentioning Jesus. Also, FTX's Sam Bankman-Fried posted a $250 million bail. And we say goodbye to our wonderful producer Greg Ebben, who's leaving the show for greener pastures. Our guest today is Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), and he tries to explain how these awful omnibus bills get passed. Then Alex asks him, as a medical doctor, why Americans are dying at an earlier age than the previous two years. It's scary. We also talk fentanyl and finally we get a Christmas message from him to our audience.
Ahead of the Friday deadline to prevent a partial government shutdown, Congress will vote on the 2023 omnibus spending bill. The $1.7 trillion package would fund departments across the government; however, the large size of the bipartisan bill is leaving many lawmakers hesitant. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) is one Republican who believes more time is needed to process the 4,100 pages in the bill. He joins the Rundown to discuss his frustration with government spending, as well as his bipartisan work on issues related to fentanyl and crypto regulation. The holidays are fast approaching, and for many Americans that means traveling near and far to family gatherings to celebrate and be together—but not everyone is enthusiastic about it, in fact, many are opting out this year. A recent survey found nearly one-third of respondents believed the holidays would be better if they didn't stay with family and even pre-pandemic, an American Psychiatric Association report showed people say they were five times more likely to see their stress levels increase amid the holiday season. Licensed marriage and family therapist Dr. Karen Ruskin joins the Rundown to discuss strategies for coping with stressful family environments during the holidays, making healthy personal decisions for mental health, and de-escalating heated situations. Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, and Susan Collins voted with the Democrats. Jerome explains why. Then, things are in motion on the southern border as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is planning to mobilize forces to turn back illegal border crossers and on the bus other illegal aliens to Washington, DC. And then, is it a sign of our national future at the local level? In Kenosha, WI, citizens have elected a Republican woman to be county executive after years of Democratic rule. Maybe that's why Joe Biden couldn't get Barack Obama's attention at the White House! On today's Breitbart News Daily podcast, Jerome Hudson fills in for Alex. First it was Fauci, Then came Joey. Follow the money - Dr. Doom was on the Hill and going at it with Senators (again) and his patience seems to be running very thin, especially when he's asked basic yes or no queries. How dare you question the great and powerful Oz?! Then, along came Brandon in Atlanta talking (er, shouting) about voting rights. Both Anthony Fauci and Joe Biden showing their true colors as their personas melt away on camera and on hot mic. Our guests today are: Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) talks Dr. Fauci; and then Rep. Drew Ferguson (R-GA) talks Pres. Biden in Georgia.
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) spoke on the Senate floor about what he says is an unfair process by which the Senate is considering amendments on the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022.
Earlier this week, a group of Republicans sent a letter to the Director of the National Institute of Health, Dr. Francis Collins, demanding he release details about the COVID-19 data being deleted from the NIH database. Last week, it was reported the NIH deleted sequences of early coronavirus cases from databases at the request of Chinese researchers. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) was one of the lawmakers who signed the letter and he joins today to explain what he hopes to gain from this demand. He also weighs in on why he thinks it's important for China to be transparent and accountable when it comes to the origins of the virus. On June 24, a high-rise condo in Surfside, Florida partially collapsed, destroying nearly 55 apartment units while killing and trapping many residents below the rubble. Politicians responded swiftly with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declaring a state of emergency, the Miami-Dade County mayor ordering building audits and President Biden visiting the site of the collapsed building on Thursday July 1st. Many are trying to get to the bottom of just how something like this could happen. Structural Engineer, consultant following 9/11 and co-author of 'Why Buildings Fall Down' Mattys Levy, joins to explain the leading theories on why the Surfside condo experienced structural failure, whether surrounding residents should be concerned, and to break down how rising sea levels can impact the integrity of coastline buildings. Plus, commentary by Fox News Senior Meteorologist Janice Dean.
