There's been a frenetic push from the pro-Israel crowd in using the slain embassy staffers to argue that pro-Palestine protesters need to be shut down, and it's just so ridiculous. Nobody should grant it even one second of serious consideration. Reading by Tim Foley.

Tilda Roll usually carries a can of coyote repellent with her when she walks around her neighbourhood in Vaughan, Ont. But ever since she was the target of an antisemitic incident while leaving her synagogue after Shabbat services on Jan. 6, 2024, the lawyer says she has been more afraid of running into the antisemitic attacker again, since he lives in her neighbourhood. At the time, police quickly located the suspect, and charged him with a couple of assaults—spitting on Roll and her husband, hurling Nazi threats at them and making the Heil Hitler salute—and breach of probation. After a three-day trial this March, the man was convicted, but was not held in custody. Earlier this week, on May 13, an Ontario judge sentenced Kenneth Gobin, 35, to a year in prison, with two more years of probation tacked on due to his lengthy criminal record. With the man now off the streets, Roll says she can finally begin to process what happened, including how anxious and angry the incident made her. On today's episode of The CJN Daily, Tilda Roll explains how she hopes her court fight will encourage Jewish Canadians to fight back against rampant antisemitism. There are good people in every demographic — white people, older people, police officers. There are good and bad eggs on both sides. Unfortunately, within the black community, a few bad actors often give the entire group a negative reputation. On today's episode of "Fearless," Jason highlights several recent “bad egg” moments involving prominent black public figures. From Draymond Green's “I'm not an angry black man” rant to Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett's ghetto theatrics and Paul Pierce's anti-marriage stance, celebrity black Americans are doing more harm than good to the culture. Later in the show, Steve Kim joins Jason to discuss Shedeur Sanders' disappointing mini-camp performance, Bill Belichick's very young girlfriend allegedly being banned from UNC football facilities, and Joy Taylor oversharing her dating life on-air. After the show, switch over to the Jason Whitlock Harmony channel with Shemeka Michelle for a deep dive into Kanye West's controversial new song, "Heil Hitler." In this marathon episode of Baseless Conspiracies, Jon Herold and Zak “RedPill78” Paine go deep, like, Blackfriars Bridge-deep, into the tangled, bloodstained web of Vatican corruption, financial black ops, and historic conspiracies cloaked in red robes and even redder shoes. Sparked by the death of Pope Francis and the resignation of Klaus Schwab (both at age 88, the numerical symbol for “Heil Hitler”), Jon and Zak pull no punches as they unravel the historical and modern machinations of the Catholic Church. From the mysterious murder of “God's Banker” Roberto Calvi to the Vatican's documented money laundering for Nazis and fascists, they trace the legacy of corruption through the Vatican Bank, the Ustasha regime, and Operation Gladio. The hosts also break down the allegations against Cardinal Pell, was he a molester, a martyr, or a man framed for digging too close to the truth? Symbolism takes center stage with discussions on red shoes, rabbit imagery, and alleged adrenochrome connections, while they explore the Vatican's sovereign immunity, banking secrecy, and ties to ancient blood money. They even find time for a hilarious sidetrack into Zak's Nickelodeon days, Oak Island treasure hunts, and Vatican time machine rumors. This episode is part true crime, part theology, part international thriller, and 100% classic Baseless.
Did Asher visit Africa to avoid Pesach cleaning? We discuss his recent trip to Ghana (after Syria), and John suspects that Asher is a CIA officer. Asher describes the slave trade artifacts he witnessed, and contrasts them to slavery in the ancient Jewish tradition. He then answers Passover FAQs and reminds us to remember the goal of our seders. We grapple with having gratitude for freedom while our people remain in tunnels. Of course, no Jewish podcast is complete without referencing a problematic case of someone shouting “Heil Hitler.”
In this episode of the Klem and Kush Podcast, we dive into some seriously wild topics. First, we try to wrap our heads around Kanye's controversial track, “Heil Hitler,” and discuss what could possibly be going through his mind. Then, we talk about Mel Gibson's latest headlines, including his return to the gun world—and take a trip down memory lane to revisit some of his infamous outbursts over the years. Finally, things take a bizarre turn as Bubba gets a little too creative with Seth's daughter in a wild scheme to pick up women. It's a mix of chaos, controversy, and comedy you won't want to miss. Piše Marica Škorjanec Kosterca, bereta Eva Longyka Marušič in Igor Velše. Literarne like opisuje s trpko humornostjo, spremlja jih kot snemalec s kamero, sledi njihovemu razmišljanju in odkriva skrito nezavedno. A novinar Igor mora oddati članek. »Saj ne bom napisal, zakaj ni dvignil roke, Je pozdravil Hitlerja? Ni.

This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit zeteo.comBetween controversial salutes, inflammatory statements, and billionaires pretending to be normal people, there's a lot to take in from Donald Trump's inauguration. The newly re-elected president tore up Joe Biden's legacy with one executive order after another as a crowd of mostly rich and very rich people looked on.“I think it's clear that a handful of billionaires are in charge, and Musk certainly has the most influence,” says Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy, who joins Mehdi to share his perspective.“What you're seeing being constructed is essentially a kleptocracy in which the billionaires of this country are going to steal from the poor and the middle class.”One of those billionaires, Elon Musk, spent day one of the second Trump era performing two Nazi-looking salutes on stage in DC. Despite his supporters denying it was a “Heil Hitler,” Murphy is not convinced.“Maybe you could excuse that gesture if it wasn't coming from somebody who has a consistent history of identifying themselves with neo-Nazis and with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. He literally amplifies some of the most vicious anti-Semitic conspiracy theories on Twitter.”Mehdi pushed Murphy on his support for Israel since October 7, on the TikTok ban that Democrats voted for, and the increase in billionaire wealth on Joe Biden's watch. And, looking forward, Mehdi asked the senator about the future of a deeply unpopular Democratic Party.“If we want to win,” says Murphy, who is considered to be a possible 2028 Democratic presidential contender, “you have got to make economic populism and economic fairness the tent pole of your party, and you've got to build a bigger tent in which you have the courage…to bring in some people to that tent that might not line up with you on all the issues that I think are important.”If you are a paid subscriber, you can watch the full interview above to hear Mehdi question Murphy on sending weapons to Israel, Kamala Harris' campaign, bipartisanship, and the normalization of corruption.Free subscribers can watch a 15-minute preview. Following Hamas' October 7 massacre of Israelis, antisemitism has infiltrated nearly every part of society – including the world of sports. At the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Israeli athletes faced death threats and “Heil Hitler” salutes. U.S. Paralympian Tahl Leibovitz, an Israeli-American, knows this hatred firsthand, having been targeted both on and off the court simply for being Jewish. Together with fellow Paralympian Ian Seidenfeld, the Para Table Tennis champions reflect on how they've seen sports serve as a powerful unifying force, despite the challenges. ___ Listen – AJC Podcasts: The Forgotten Exodus: Season 2 out now exploring the untold stories of Jews from Tunisia, Syria, Yemen, and more. I must confess, not until I had children, did I watch the Paralympics. If you want to see strength, grit, and resilience on a heroic level, behold British cyclist Sarah Story claim her 18th gold. My son's favorite sports are wheelchair tennis and table tennis. So he was particularly excited when I told him that I had the opportunity to sit down with two proud Jewish athletes who competed in this year's Paralympic games in Paris. Twenty-three year old Ian Seidenfeld and 49-year-old Tahl Leibovitz are members of the USA 2024 Para Table Tennis team. They are here to talk about their approach to the sport and what it means to be a Jewish athlete. Ian, Tahl: welcome to People of the Pod. Ian Seidenfeld: Thank you. I'm happy to be here. Tahl Leibovitz: It is really good to be here. I'm very excited about this. Manya Brachear Pashman: So what drew you to this sport, to table tennis? Ian, how about you start us off? Ian Seidenfeld: Yeah, I don't know if I was ever interested in table tennis, but my dad was the table tennis coach, runs the table tennis in Minnesota with the Minnesota Table Tennis Federation, so it was always kind of just a part of life in that when I was four or five years old I'd want to go with my dad to work and kind of be around him and play. And it just happened to be table tennis that he was coaching. So I didn't even know what was going on, but it was something that I enjoyed to do to kind of hang out with my dad a little bit. Tahl Leibovitz: I was in the South Beach Boys and Girls Club that was kind of in Queens, South Richmond Hill. And I had a lot of different things. I was doing martial arts there, which I really liked a lot. And my trainer was saying, if you do table tennis it can help you with your reflexes. You're gonna be faster. And I started doing table tennis, and I kind of got drawn into it, and I really like the challenge of it. It's very similar to chess – it's like chess and running at the same time. I do a lot of jiu-jitsu now, it's similar to that. You're trying to solve things. So it's very interesting. Manya Brachear Pashman: Tahl, you were born with a physical disability that makes it difficult to kind of move on your feet and to straighten your arms or flex your wrists. So I'm curious how you've balanced that. How have you overcome that? Tahl Leibovitz: Another good question, and most people don't even ask that, and that's probably somebody that had been playing table tennis probably for like, 10 or 20 years would kind of notice I have osteochondromas, so I have limited supination and pronation. You can't really see if I'm walking, can't see any disability, but I have bone tumors all over my body. They're benign, so it restricts movement. So to answer that, I had to find a way to adapt. So when I hold the racket, I change the grip a lot. And I would say the two things that I never thought I would become this great player. You know, you never really know. But when I was watching the best athletes in the country in the world, I started competing against them eventually. And I started trying to think, ‘Okay, what, you know, what would be difficult? How could I make their match difficult?' Not trying to beat them, but how can I make these matches very difficult for them? I started doing that a lot, and then I built the style. And then, of course, you know, really believing that you can compete against anyone. I say those two things, and then I don't know, I started, I don't know what happened after. It took about eight years, and I just started doing really well, both in the able-bodied and the para competition. Manya Brachear Pashman: Ian, can you talk a little bit about the preparation and training process for the Paralympics and other competitions as well? Ian Seidenfeld: Table tennis training, a lot of it happens on the table, as you might imagine. So we're on the table for two to three hour practice sessions. And then what I try and do outside of table tennis is, for me, cardio on the bike. I live near a lake, Lake Bde Maka Ska in Minnesota, and so it's a very beautiful lake to ride around and get that kind of cardio in, two to three days a week, and then playing on the table three to four days a week for myself. A lot of it is that hand-eye coordination is the biggest part, being able to react to the ball movement much quicker than others, I think is a defining factor, along with being able to understand spin. That's maybe the biggest difference in table tennis compared to other racquet sports, is the amount of spin we can get on the ball. Manya Brachear Pashman: Do you have a signature move or kind of signature maneuver that you use to best your opponents? Ian Seidenfeld: I think my best thing is variation. Because of my disability of dwarfism, I have shorter limbs, so I can't reach or move as far as others. So I try and control the table with angle of play as well as spin and speed variation. So it's a very, we'll call it a thinker's game, trying to outsmart the opponent some ways and keep things very uncomfortable for them. That's kind of what I try and do to my opponents. Manya Brachear Pashman: That's great, keep them guessing as to what's coming their way. I love that. Well what have been some of your challenges? In other words, are there particular strategies or moves that other players use that you have really tried to get better at confronting? Ian Seidenfeld: Yeah, there's a lot of different things. As I said, with my disability, with dwarfism, a short stature and shorter limbs, I have had people use a short serve against me, so that I can't reach the serve to start off the point. And we've kind of fought over the last five or six years for me to be able to use a paddle extension, which will basically allow me to reach the first serve and then take the extension off and play like a normal point afterwards. So that's, for me, kind of a big difference. The other big difference for my disability would be I can't play as long because my joints are very malformed, so I have higher levels of inflammation sooner. So I kind of practice less than most people. Manya Brachear Pashman: So it seems like that would be something that they would regulate or accommodate. I'm kind of surprised that they would even allow a short serve in that kind of circumstance. Ian Seidenfeld: From how my dad described the Paralympics to me when he was playing in 1988 in Barcelona, he had won a gold medal there. At the time, it was probably more about building community and acceptance among disabilities. Just because we have a disability, we're not necessarily accepting of other disabilities. And so in those instances, you can see, back then it was, you were kind of learning to be around other people and accept their differences. I think now we've gotten to the point where a lot of it is about this higher level of competition, and so that competitive aspect has changed things a lot more. So maybe the short serves and things, tactics that might be considered underhanded are a little bit more accepted than I'd like it to be. But who am I to argue? I'm happy to just to be able to play. Manya Brachear Pashman: You mentioned your father, Ian. He was a champion in the 1980s. He is now the coach of the U.S.A. Paralympic team. What other mentors or support systems have both of you had along the way? Ian Seidenfeld: Yeah, I think family is the biggest crutch for all of us. I know for my teammate, Jensen, he's the same age as me, and so he has a very good support system with his parents and his brother. And myself, with my parents and my sister, I think we were able to confide in them very honestly and speak candidly about everything that we're feeling. I recently had been talking to an energy coach as well, someone to kind of give better levels of positive energy, being able to stay more present in the moment and not get ahead of myself, and I tend to guide towards the negative aspects of things, getting upset or getting annoyed or frustrated. And so I'm trying my best to get out of that. And so I have been talking to someone to kind of help with staying positive in tougher times. So it's really about being able to be honest with yourself and with other people, and not afraid to reach out. Because, as an athlete that's competing in Paris, a lot of people want to help and do their best for you, and so you just have to be able to communicate in a mature way. Manya Brachear Pashman: And what about you Tahl – what does your support system look like? Tahl Leibovitz: Yeah, you know, that's probably one of the most important things, is when you connect to people that are, you know, trying to help you along the way. Of course, my coach Sean O'Neill has been a very good mentor. He's a two-time Olympian, five-time national champion. He's helped me greatly, helped me study for, you know, when I was doing my social work exams. We also have a lot of great coaches. Mitch Seidenfeld is our head coach. We have Vlad Farcas. He's amazing. He's, you know, a really good friend and somebody that runs the program as well. But I would say, yeah, those three individuals, and there's another person, Dr. Dov Copler, who's practicing medicine. He's helped me a lot as well. Of course, my wife, I've been married for more than 20 years, she's unbelievable, and we're, you know, best friends, and she's helped me, you know, without her, I probably couldn't make these achievements not be possible. Manya Brachear Pashman: I'm curious, has your Jewish identity played a role in your athletic success, your academics or your professional careers? Ian Seidenfeld: Yeah, my Jewish identity. So I'm a reform Jew, but I think it's a lot about the community and family that I have that's really important to me, and I've been able to look up to them and what they've done in their careers and their lives, and how they kind of view life in a lot of ways, to just enjoy it, enjoy family. And so I think I've taken a lot of that as being very important to me, being able to try and pursue both career and being consistent with my family. Tahl Leibovitz: I was born in Israel. You know, I was born in Haifa. Obviously, I'm very connected to Israel. And I went to a thing called the Maccabi Games that was in 1997, that was my first games. And the people, the experience, it was just so amazing. And that's the first time I had been back to Israel. I'm trying to think, I was 22 years old, I think at that time. So I would say, yeah, Israel, I feel so good there. There's a very good connection to being there. So that's the positive note and, you know, and also coming up, you know, on a negative thing. You know, being Jewish, of course, it's not easy in some ways, you know, I went through, in a lot of obstacles and different things because of that. Manya Brachear Pashman: So can you talk a little bit about some of the obstacles that you have encountered along that being Jewish have presented? Tahl Leibovitz: When I grew up – well, I lived in the street when I was a boy, you know, for maybe 13 to about 21 but it's interesting before that, even when I was, I grew up in Howard Beach, and then eventually I was living in kind of, like, by Cypress Hills in New York City. And there's, like, a shame that being Jewish, like I was, you know, is like, in some way, from my peers, like I wasn't around a lot of Jewish people, and they were, you know, they make fun of you. They like, you feel this, and I didn't know anything really. I was only a kid, but I think having my grandfather was, like, a really good, I mean, he made a, you know, spending time with him was a big difference. He was a Holocaust survivor. One thing I learned from him, which I think is so important, I think more people should do. When you look at the Jewish community, it's like the family. There's a very strong sense of family. And I feel, even when I'm in Israel, because I'm very good friends with a lot of people on the table tennis team, the Israeli Center, I feel such a good connection, like I feel really a part of something, and that is really important. Manya Brachear Pashman: So in other words, being part of that sports community and a team, there's something kind of Jewish about that and that family feel. You spoke about the negative. Of course, Israeli athletes competing in Paris, some have received death threats and hate messages online, and then at the soccer match between Israel and Paraguay, spectators were yelling Heil Hitler during the Israeli national anthem. As a Jewish athlete, as an Israeli-born Jewish athlete, is this hate something that you have encountered along the way, or is this hate just reserved for the athletes representing Israel? Tahl Leibovitz: You know, I'll say two things to that. The first being that, you know, obviously, what happened, you know, in October of last year. You feel something. You could say whatever you want. There's no words. I feel like I've overcome a lot of adversity, but to feel that, like, that you can't do anything. You feel so badly, you know. So there's a connection, I think, you know from all of us that is the first thing. So, and you look at what's happening in the schools, Columbia University, and a lot of these things, so there is a heightened sense of antisemitism, for sure. And I would say that does happen. I'll give you one quick example, which is very, very interesting. I had to play a league match. This wasn't even too long ago, just two months ago, so to play a league match. And there were, you know, I'm not saying these people are bad or good, but they were from Egypt. There were two players, and then they, they came in and they said, ‘Do you know where we were?' And I was like, ‘Okay, where were you guys at?' And they said, ‘Well, we're in the mosque, and we were praying for the destruction of Israel. We were praying that Israel would be destroyed.' I'm about to start a match with these guys, and, you know, obviously I'm a therapist, so, you know, I have a lot, you know, patients, and I ended up winning against them. So they were not too happy. But the point is that I tend to think about, like when people bring that, they have great difficulties within themselves. And of course, you can match that, you know, with it, with anything you know. You can be aggressive with them. But I find if people sit long enough in some of these, I don't know if you want to call it delusions that they have, because a lot of people, we're just human beings. People hate Jewish people for no reason, like, it's like, they don't even know me. It's like, you're hating somebody for something, you don't even know them. So I think when people sit with that, they tend to, you know, they spend a little more time with you. Sports can do that too. It kind of humanized people together. Manya Brachear Pashman: That's interesting. You have actually called your birthplace your favorite place on earth. And I'm curious, how do you honor both your American and Israeli identities while representing the United States in competition? Tahl Leibovitz: Yeah, that's a very good question. And I would say for me, the thing, because I've been to a lot of different tournaments, the Paralympics, a lot of different things, the most incredible experience for me has been like I mentioned the Maccabi Games. So that's one thing, and I stay connected, you know, and it's also not just what I'm doing. Look, I'm a table tennis player, I do the best I can. But, you know, there's some people that I've, you know, there's a student I work with. Her name is Estee Ackerman. She does a lot of public speaking. She was a great player. We, you know, I trained her for many years. So you, kind of, I would say the answer is this sort of community, you know, and to and to be connected to yourself, and also to be even in therapy, you know, actually, I'll say one other thing. I could say a lot. I work for a few, I have contracted a few different places. And I said to one place, you know, after this thing happened in Israel, I said, and again, I have no special ability. I just said, look, send me the people that were affected by Israel. I said, those are the people I want to work with now. I said, send me as many as you can, as much as you can. And then I started working with them. And it is, the truth is, it's profoundly effective. Like there were, you know, these people that can't function at work. You know, it's something, some of them were very connected, they're affected in some way, obviously. So I just give what I can. I can't change the world, but I know, like, I can give the best I can to people, and even if I do my small part, it's okay. Manya Brachear Pashman: So after this year's Paralympics, what's next? Ian Seidenfeld: I think the goal is really to just try and feel comfortable and try and have fun out there, and the results will come. But after the Paralympics, I work for a company called Allianz, a global insurance company, and so I plan to continue working for them afterwards, and they've been, they're a sponsor of the Olympics and Paralympics, so they've been very supportive of my training, and so I plan to continue working for them and continue training for the next World Championships and Maccabi Games, and we actually have our own Allianz Olympics coming up in 2026, so there's a lot more table tennis to be played, and ultimately I hope to compete in LA 2028 so I might take a month or two off, but other than that, it'll be back to training as usual. Tahl Leibovitz: Well I set a goal that I wanted to try to continue to 2028 since I won my first gold medal in 1996. That was my biggest achievement. And so now I'm saying, all right, we have 2028 in LA, so I will continue to 2028. I'm in pretty good, playing pretty well, doing a lot of fitness. So I feel okay. And yeah, probably do that, and then I will see. Most likely I will retire, I think, although people keep pushing me to do another two, but that would be 2036 would be my last one. So it's a little, I'm 50 years old, almost, so, but we'll see. I think 2028, then I'll reevaluate. Manya Brachear Pashman: Well thank you both so much for joining us. Is there anything I have not asked you that you definitely want to share with our audience before we go? Ian Seidenfeld: I think when we're talking about acceptance and love and trying to overcome our differences and challenges, I think the Paralympics can be a very good representation of what we can all do together, as the Olympics was founded as well to find common ground among nations, and I think there is a lot of hate and rhetoric that's spoken throughout the US and throughout the world, that hopefully people will be able to watch the Olympics and Paralympics and feel a more, a greater sense of unity among people. And hopefully we won't have death threats and that kind of hate, that's really unnecessary. I hope. Manya Brachear Pashman: Well said. Thank you so much. Ian, Tahl, Mazal Tov! Ian Seidenfeld: Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Tahl Leibovitz: Thank you. Thank you so much.
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (07/30/2024): 3:05pm- Newsom Pledges to Outlaw Parody: Earlier in the week, billionaire Elon Musk reposted a satirical campaign advertisement for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris—where she calls herself a diversity hire as well as a “deep state puppet.” In response, California Governor Gavin Newsom outrageously responded to Musk: "Manipulating a voice in an ‘ad' like this one should be illegal. I'll be signing a bill in a matter of weeks to make sure it is.” Musk quickly shot back: "I checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.” Will Newsom ban artificial intelligence generated parody in California? 3:30pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During his opening statement, Rowe said he “cannot defend” the rally's security failures. He explained: “What I saw made me ashamed.” In one notable exchange, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MI) grilled Rowe and expressed confusion as to how no one—despite the agency's failures—was fired. Hawley exclaimed: "The former President was shot! Just fire somebody!...We have people who are dead!" 4:05pm- Behind Closed Doors, Democrats Anxious About Harris: Alexander Bolton of The Hill writes: “Behind the public jubilation over Vice President Harris's swift rise to become their party's likely nominee for president, Democratic lawmakers are privately anxious about her prospects of defeating former President Trump, acknowledging she is largely untested as a candidate and faces serious challenges. The anxiety, for the most part, has been set aside out of a deep sense of relief that President Biden decided to drop his reelection bid. After months of unease over the 81-year-old incumbent, Democratic lawmakers are glad to rally behind Harris in hopes she will rev up Democratic donors along with young and minority voters. But concerns are already bubbling up over Harris's ability to connect as well as Biden did in 2020 with white working-class and union voters in three states that were critical to defeating Trump: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.” You can read the full article here: https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4795432-kamala-harris-democratic-anxiety/ 4:15pm- While speaking with Margaret Hoover of PBS, Democratic political strategist James Carville warned that Kamala Harris is likely “going to get slaughtered” when she is inevitably asked for policy specifics. 4:30pm- Rich tells Matt and Andrew that he will not be appearing on YouTube today because he recently had surgery for a deviated septum and can't stop blowing his nose! Gross! 4:40pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During one exchange, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated: “I believe that the Secret Service leadership made a political decision to deny these requests. And I think the Biden administration has been suffused with partisan politics.” Meanwhile, in a post on X, Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) reacted to what he experienced in the hearing: “We are 17 days out from the assassination attempt on Trump. I don't want conversations and processes—I want answers and accountability. Hiding behind a vague, slow-moving investigation is not going to cut it. We need full reform to the Secret Service and FBI now.” 4:50pm- David Propper of The New York Post writes: “Former President Donald Trump was briefly delayed by Secret Service agents from taking the stage at a conference in Nashville Saturday because of another security lapse, The Post has learned. The holdup was caused by two individuals who made their way around metal detectors inside the Music City Center where the 2024 bitcoin conference was held shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/07/29/us-news/secret-service-delayed-trump-from-taking-stage-at-nashville-conference-after-security-lapse-sources/ 5:05pm- Hank Berrien of The Daily Wire writes: “Anti-Israel demonstrators brandishing Palestinian flags and a sign that read ‘Genocide Olympics' reportedly chanted ‘Heil Hitler' and did the Nazi salute while the Israeli national anthem was played before the Israeli men's soccer team played Paraguay at the Paris Olympics on Saturday night.” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/anti-israel-demonstrators-chant-heil-hitler-do-nazi-salute-taunting-israeli-olympic-team 5:10pm- Kamala Pledged to Keep Transgender Criminals Out of Prison: Spencer Lindquist of The Daily Wire writes: “During her 2020 presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris pledged that she would work to keep transgender criminals out of jail, archived campaign materials reviewed by The Daily Wire reveal. Fussball-EM in Deutschland.
A Berks County school district will keep a new board member who had “Heil Hitler” and a swastika in faded paint on her garage door for several years. It's the latest in a string of controversies for Oley Valley School District. A new lawsuit alleges Pennsylvania doesn't adequately fund its public defender system. Getting on and off the Turnpike is going to look a little different in a few years. America's first superhighway is switching to open road tolling - meaning cars will be scanned without needing to slow down. Harrisburg plans to boost its police presence downtown, in the wake of two high-profile shootings in recent weeks. The Board of Trustees at Harrisburg Area Community College has announced that the school will begin following the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act as part of a settlement deal with HACC's faculty union. Piše Marica Škorjanec Kosterca, bere Lidija Hartman. Avstrijski pisatelj dr. Študiral je filozofijo, teologijo in klasično filologijo. Podrejanje. Pisatelj pretresljivo predstavlja najhujše plasti zla v taborišču Mauthausen: Zaplinjevanje in sežiganje trupel. Pretresljiva in zelo razgibana pripoved zastavlja veliko vprašanj o skoraj pozabljenem času, grozljivih prizorih v koncentracijskem taborišču in življenju posameznikov v stoletju zločinskih ideologij in dveh svetovnih vojn.
The indie game developers behind a Steamboat Willie-inspired horror game are being targeted NOT by Disney... but by a Twitter outrage mob for, get this, including secret "alt-right dog-whistles." Because the game was called 'Infestation 88' and the number 88 is now problematic or something. Additional Context: "Infestation 88," now renamed "Infestation: Origins." The game, initially inspired by Steamboat Willie, faced significant backlash due to the unintended connotations of its original title. The core of the controversy was the number "88" in the game's name, a figure unfortunately associated with neo-Nazi groups as a shorthand for "Heil Hitler," with 'H' being the eighth letter of the alphabet. This connection raised concerns among players and the broader community about potential neo-Nazi references or 'dog whistle' messages embedded in the game's title. In response to the public outcry, the game's developers, Nightmare Forge Games, quickly moved to address the issue. They clarified that their choice of "88" was solely for aesthetic purposes, denying any intention to reference or signal support for hate groups. Acknowledging their oversight regarding the number's historical and cultural implications, they rebranded the game to "Infestation: Origins." Today we have two brave survivors who are coming on to share a very important, relevant and horrifying testimony that takes place across the world in the country of Israel. Today's show will be different as our featured guest, survivor Nechama Te'ena, doesn't speak English! To help translate her story, we are also joined by survivor Israel Sykes who is native to America and currently lives in Israel.-Nechama, 39, was born in Hebron, Israel to her parents Menahem and Rivkah, in an extended family of Orthodox Jews who love and settled in the land of Israel. Her mother gave birth to her at the early age of 16, very unusual in Israel. She believes that at a very young age her mother was a victim of trauma-based mind control and was cultivated for an active role in an organization whose long-term goal was the destruction of Israel from within. She is the oldest of 9 children, two of whom died mysteriously at an early age. She remembers having been abused since the age of 4. She remembers her mother behaving harmfully towards her two younger brothers at the behest of a powerfulrabbi in Israel named Zvi Tau. This happened to one baby brother when she was four years old, and then to a second when she was ten. This second time she was very aware of what was happening, and she screamed and called for help. Since that time both her mother and the rabbi began to abuse her (her father was never part of the abuse).Nechama was a witness to the organization's rituals that took place in an empty building next door to her home. Rituals included fire, walking around an altar, calls of Heil Hitler, swastikas, terrifying chants, abuse of cats, and sucking bones. She was also abused during these rituals, including rape. One time, for example, they put her over a small bonfire and threatened to burn her.About 12 years ago Nehama gave birth to a girl (her fifth child), and it was then that she began to recover memories. About a year and a half ago she realized that she had to go public with the story that she had been raped by this powerful and highly respected rabbi. Otherwise her life would be at risk, as it was becoming increasingly clear to her abusers that she was increasingly out of their control. She figured that if her story were known to the public it would be impossible to kill her without raising suspicion. So Nehama went through a process of sharing her memories with hersiblings and father, all of whom have become staunch supporters. When a television documentary was cancelled at the last minute, she posted her story on Facebook and called people to join her in weekly demonstrations in front of the Knesset, which have continued to this day. Since that first step she has become a fearless leader and advocate for survivors and children, and a magnet for other survivors of similar abuse, many by the same rabbi. One year ago, Israel Sykes was exposed to the activism of a religious Jewish woman from Hebron named Nechama Te'ena, who on Facebook and in weekly demonstrations before the Israeli parliament accused a powerful and highly influential rabbi of murdering two of her siblings when they were in their first year, and of having raped her repeatedly. Nehama and her family attracted a growing number of supporters until, out of fear that family members were in danger of "quiet" assassinations, they held a press conference in which they accused the rabbi, who had come to Israel from Holland in the 1950's, of being a Nazi with connections to Mengele. Because of Israel's prior experiences, he had no doubt that such things were possible, so he stuck by her. From this point the family downplayed the Nazi part of the story and focused on the sexual abuse, and support was rebuilt. There was a serious police investigation, and an indictment is being considered.EMAIL ISRAEL: israelsykes1@gmail.comSupport the show
Live from STUDIO G- in the heart of America- I'm STEVE GRUBER- saying the things you wish you could -every day- fighting for you from the Foxhole of Freedom and defending this great nation-- this is THE STEVE GRUBER SHOW! Here are 3 big things you need to know right now— Number One— Man found with an AR-15 near the White house was arrested by capital police—but because this one doesn't fit the narrative—I would not expect it to survive a single news cycle— Number Two— Hunter Biden is the victim—and he is getting picked on—yeah after writing a sniveling op-ed about how mean people are holding him accountable—I say—its not about addiction—its about corruption— Number Three— We have a lot to talk about today—especially with Rashida Tlaib—BUT first—lets look at some of the big headlines from yesterdays off year elections— In Ohio—abortion was on the ballot— In Kentucky a big Governors race between incumbent Democrat Andy Beshear and his GOP challenger, AG Daniel Cameron— In Mississippi another big Governors race— And in Virginia—all the marbles for the state House and state Senate— The Democrat Holy War is about to enter a new phase—just like the war in Gaza— For the second time in a few days—Michigan Rep Rashida Tliab is facing Censure in the House of Representatives—this time for pushing the anti-Semitic narrative that from the river to the sea is some kind of aspirational themed comment—when it actually means the total destruction of Israel and the elimination of Jews from the Middle East— Its like saying Heil Hitler was an aspirational call for freedom from the Nazi's in World War Two—that was something the Babylon Bee actually put in a headline yesterday to point out how far fetched and utterly ridiculous such a claim really is— Tlaib has a long history of anti-Semitic remarks and comments that condemn Israel— So, now the censure resolution has passed through an effort to have it tabled—and that means a vote is coming today on the House floor—and let me be clear about something here—Tlaib is not the only member of the squad spewing hateful rhetoric—and one of her squad colleagues took it to an all new level on Tuesday— Yeah—that really sums up the histrionic and shrill—yeah I said it—cacophony from the hysterical left—they have lost their minds—completely—and that was just the beginning of the meltdown—now that it looks like Tlaib is actually going to get sanctioned for her hateful comments over many years— And the problem here—is that everyone knows how far out of line she is to proclaim Israel as the Villain—this is a country that has been attacked repeatedly for 75 years—and one that has the right to defend itself—and one that certainly has the right to return fire when terrorists launch an unprovoked attack on unarmed civilians and slaughter them—cutting babies from the womb—and burning the elderly in their homes—and cutting down young people at a music festival with AK-47's leaving almost 300 dead on the ground— The Democrats are so obtuse—they refuse to understand that they are cutting their own party in half—by being weak willed on the comments about the terrorist attacks on Israel—and trying to find some way to rationalize the attacks from Hamas— Oh, and lets not forget the star of our little drama here—Rashida Tlaib herself—who fashions herself as a proper victim—I mean of course she is— She calls for the destruction of Israel—and yes that hateful video as I just said is still posted on her X account for the world to see—so she is not terribly concerned about the anti-Semitic trope at all— And then there is the guy who started it all—by shipping $100 Billion dollars to Iran—who played softball with global terrorist networks by allowing the mullahs to keep selling oil and funding groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Huthies— I mean it almost seems like it was intentional for Barack Obama—but now he is peddling some shallow self reflecting non-sense—acting as if he takes some modicum of responsibility— So where are we in all of this today—I mean the vote to censure Tlaib will be coming later today it seems—BUT where are we as Americans?

Thirty neo-Nazis stood on the steps of Victoria's parliament house over the weekend, giving the "Heil Hitler" salute. Their behaviour has shocked the Andrews government into legislating a ban on the symbol. But will a law overcome a wider, even growing, ignorance of Nazism and its monstrous history?

After this episode, our “Stop Making Yourself Miserable Podcast” will be taking a Holiday/Winter hiatus. We will begin again sometime in late January. As I have mentioned in a few previous episodes, I am busy working on The Higher Mind Training, and in particular, I am adapting it for use in a halfway house for people suffering with alcohol and drug addiction. The training for this facility should be in place by late-February. As I am working on it, I am looking through some of the notes that I have made over the years, and I have found a few phrases that I have written that I would like to share with you at this time. Like a lot of other people who are involved with writing, I always keep a file opened where I can drop in random thoughts that occur to me as I am working. They don't necessarily relate to anything in particular. If something occurs to me that I feel I should keep, I just write it down and put it away, possibly for later use and possibly not. So, before we take our hiatus, here are a few of those random thoughts for your consideration See if they do anything for you. The first one is, “Follow the heart, not the herd.” In this, I was pondering how powerful the herd mentality factor is for us. I remember watching a documentary that featured a holocaust survivor. He told a story about something that happened to him during the early days of Hitler's rise to power in Germany. An enormous rally was going to be held with 100,000 Nazi loyalists. They had gathered up about a hundred Jews and seated them near the podium so Hitler could vilify them and spew hatred on them during his speech to the crowd. They were instructed to remain in their seats throughout the entire proceeding and they would be taken out at the end. At one point, the gate to the stadium opened and Hitler came riding into the stadium in an opened car. Instantaneously, everyone rose, giving the Nazi Salute and started chanting, “Heil Hitler.” The survivor then said that the energy of the crowd was so powerful that it took every bit of will power that he had within him not to stand up, give the Nazi salute and join the crowd in chanting “Heil Hitler.” I never forgot that story because I had spent my entire childhood at basketball games along with 10,000 fans and I was all too familiar with the power of a crowd. For some reason, for the most part, we humans basically like to be just like everyone else. But as the Nazi rally story illustrated, the feeling of safety in numbers is often what it seems to be. Around the same time, I had written myself a note that pretty much speaks for itself: “Get your information from the horse's mouth, not from the horse's ass.” As the Gershwin brothers wrote, “Nice work if you can get it.” Then, in a completely different framework I noted, “A quick look can reveal a treasure.” This is especially true if you ever get the opportunity to be in the presence of someone who has attained a truly elevated state of consciousness. A lot of times they don't need to say a word to lift you up a little, or a lot. Just a look will do it. Two things I had jotted down about moving along the journey of life. The first one was, “To do anything, you have to do something.” Sometimes it can be very small, but everything takes effort and even if it's just something small, something big often starts from something small. But small or large, the step of taking action has to happen. Still, it often takes persistence. You just have to keep going, so I had written, “In the long run, it's a long walk.” Guts or glory, up down or sideways, you just have to stick with it. Along those lines, here's an anonymous quote that I've always admired called, “Press On.” Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence, it starts. Talent will not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not. Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not. The world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. And when it comes to going through inner obstacles that we might encounter, I was focusing on the idea of inner growth and the thought occurred to me that “It's not so much a matter of going through it that counts. It's more a matter of growing through it.” But along with growth comes the necessity of practice and I noted, “The practical becomes impractical if it's not practiced. So, to wrap things up, I wish you a very happy and healthy Holiday Season, and I am going to leave you with two of my favorite quotes from two of my most treasured influences. When it comes to giving Parmahansa Yogananda gave us this advice, “Spread rays of hope in the hearts of the poor and forsaken. Kindle courage in the hearts of the despondent. And light a new strength in the hearts of those who think they are failures.” Now, that's quite a high bar for giving, but for me, it certainly seems like something to aspire to. And Prem Rawat, who is a master of the art of expressing a profound truth in a rather understated way once said, “Within you resides the essence of every single scripture ever written.” That one always gets me. So, this will be the end of this episode and the beginning of our holiday/winter hiatus. We'll pick it up again in late January. As always, keep your eyes mind and hearts opened, and let's get together in the next one.

Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 15-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world, from Sunday through Thursday. Military correspondent Emanuel Fabian and news editor Amy Spiro join host Amanda Borschel-Dan. The roads around Gaza have been closed since the arrest of Bassem Saadi, who leads Islamic Jihad in the West Bank, in fear of a retaliatory attack. Fabian updates us on the arrest and the days since. The threat of Hezbollah in regards to ongoing negotiations for a fixed maritime border with Lebanon was also on the table in yesterday's cabinet meeting. What's going on there? Six months ago the Israeli newspaper Calcalist published broad allegations against Israel Police using NSO spyware to hack into the phones of dozens of private citizens. Spiro shares the findings of Monday's 100-page investigation. New allegations of female soldiers and prison officers being sexually harassed and assaulted in Israeli prisons by Palestinian security prisoners has led to an altercation between Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Public Security Minister Omer Barlev. On what grounds? A contestant on HaAch HaGadol, Israel's Big Brother, recently said "Heil Hitler" and gave a Nazi salute. Spiro discusses whether this a case in which it's only ok for Jews to joke about this. Discussed articles include: Roads around Gaza to remain closed for 3rd day amid fears of Islamic Jihad attack Security officials said to warn of Hezbollah escalation if no Lebanon gas deal Probe finds Israel Police did not unlawfully hack phones of politicians, activists Gantz says he'll reevaluate drafting soldiers into Prisons Service amid rape claims Minister says female soldiers to continue guarding terror inmates unless law changes Reality check: Does Israel employ a double standard on tolerating Holocaust humor? Quite the discussion on a variety of topics in this episode, highlighted by loneliness in ministry, the recent Roe v. Wade potential overturn, and Bonhoeffer signing a letter to his judge advocate "Heil Hitler!"
Dr. E. Michael Jones returns to discuss the Trudeau Regime's crackdown on the Freedom Convoy and how the conflict in Ukraine is the culmination of decades of intransigence on the part of the American Empire vis-à-vis Russia. We also talk about his article “The Great Canadian Trucker Holocaust: Or How Honk Honk came to mean Heil Hitler” which will be featured in the April 2022 Culture Wars. They're just hirelings. You know, Jesus talked about the hireling. And he said, when the hireling is watching over the flock, the first time he sees the predator coming, he abandons the sheep and runs off to save his own hide. But the shepherd, when he sees the predator approaching, he'll lay his life down for the sheep. 0:24 Wake up church, there's a war going on for the soul of our country, where the lies of the demonic control the narratives of our culture. Join your host, Gary Duncan, in search of the kingdom, warriors of our time, those not afraid to speak up and walk out the word of God in the face of evil. Get ready for a supernatural impartation a spiritual download of faith and fire into your life. Welcome to the remnant revolution. 0:53 As you were talking about the pastures that is if every pastor or enough of them stood up to this tax exam, oppression, yeah, and would all come together and realize that we can preach government, we can preach politics, we can preach this stuff without fear. If they all did go worse. Yeah, then then they'd have to take them all to jail. 1:17 Well, that's that's exactly right. In fact, Richard land who used to lead the engagement section of the Southern Baptist Convention, trying to get people to engage, used to say, if we're all willing to go to jail, none of us will have to. It's kind of like what Benjamin Franklin said, We either hang together or we hang separately. Here's the deal. The church there's never been a church in the history of the IRS, not one that's lost tax exempt status for political speech, not one church. And if people don't want to believe me, check out Matt Staver, the founder and president of Liberty Counsel. Mat Staver is one of the leading lawyers, attorneys in America, he's defending Christians left and right. And he's one of the leading authorities on Christians and tax law. And we have Matt Staver to speak at our boot camps that we do, we might want to mention those towards the end of our discussion, but at our boot camps, we have Matt speak, and he alleviates the fear that these pastors have of losing their tax free status. I actually do a presentation on the IRS and the Johnson Amendment and all that kind of stuff. But here's the deal. If we stay silent long enough, they're going to weaponize the IRS, I'm just telling you, they're gonna do that. And they'll come after us eventually, if we keep staying silent. You know, Dr. Ben Carson said he had never been audited by the IRS until he spoke at that prayer breakfast with President then President Obama, and, you know, challenged him. And of course, that's how Ben Carson then became kind of a national name. Everybody knew him. But he said after that I was audited three or four times just one right after the other. Yeah. Hmm. 3:04 I was gonna say, I watch the hearings back when the IRS was persecuting and going after the Tea Party. Sure. It was unbelievable. I didn't listen to the news or watch the actual conversations back and forth. And you could tell the this director, mopping he was lying through his teeth, and just say, well, the smugness of what they were doing, and if and if you people don't believe this, I would, I would urge them and this I watched this not too long ago with Simone gold, Dr. Simone gold. Oh, sure. Same thing. She She Oh, have you Okay, we she takes you through step by step of when she first started, you know, with some of the vaccine mandates, how they've gone from just persecuting her to now anybody that even in contact with her has now had all kinds of issues and things develop people come in. I mean, it's unreal. I'm like, Oh my gosh, and so it's to me, we're in the middle of a I call it a medical terrorism because they're right they're trying to scare us from doing anything. 4:17 And that's one of their that's why they're making such examples out of these these soldiers who've spoken out. Now one of them was still in uniform and should have resigned first and then made these comments but they're trying to make an example that's what they're doing with all the people from January the sixth now they should not have gone into the Capitol and done what they did that was that was wrong, but they are not guilty of crimes that they ought to be treated the way put in solitary confinement for you know, since then, and all that kind of stuff. They're trying to make examples out of them to send a message to everybody else. Keep your mouth shut. Don't say anything. Don't stand up. Listen in 2008 I don't know if you're familiar with Alliance Defending used to be called ATF Alliance Defense Fund, but they're one of the largest Christian defense organizations in the world. Certainly in the United States, they launched what was called puppet freedom initiative. And the pulpit freedom initiative was a direct attack on the Johnson Amendment. And they vetted and trained 33 pastors across America to actually defy the Johnson Amendment and break the law, according to tax law, and endorse candidates from their pulpits, I was one of them. And then when we did that, that was when john mccain was running for president and we all held our noses and endorsed him. After that, the next day on Monday, we sent copies of our sermons to the IRS and said, This is what I did in my pulpit yesterday. And I was exercising my first amendment right. Now the reason we did that is we were trying to get the IRS to come after us and then ADF was going to defend us. And we were going to prove once and for all, that the Johnson Amendment is unconstitutional. We know what the IRS did nothing. And we've done the pulpit freedom initiative Sunday, on most major general elections, ever since the last official pulpit freedom Sunday, we had there were over 1600 pastors who officially participated that ADF would have defended, had the IRS come after them. And the IRS has done absolutely nothing. They even released unofficially, an unofficial memo that where they admitted that they don't have the authority to tell a preacher what he can preach, or what he can preach. Well, this is the fact. But these guys are under the illusion that they're going to lose their nonprofit status. When they're not. There never has been a church that's lost over political speech. But here's the deal, Gary, even if we did, are we going to be silent? I mean, I'd rather have my Liberty than tax free exemption. I mean, you know, are tax exempt status. The church ought to be because the power to tax would then give the the government the power to control the church, they control everything else they tax. But my point is, the most important thing is not a tax exempt status, the most important thing is freedom to speak our minds guaranteed by the First Amendment. So these preachers need to quit worrying about their tax free, you know, tax exempt status. Yeah, that's an issue and we ought to fight that. But that's not the most important issue, the most important issue is their freedom of speech, the freedom of religious thought, good grief, are they not even going to fight for that? And these guys? Well, for the most part, Gary, I think most pastors are ill informed cowards. And today, we're pastored by hirelings, these guys do it for a paycheck. They're probably good guys, generally speaking, but they're in it for the career. They want a big church, they want a big paycheck, they want to be able to go play golf all the time, and they're not going to do anything that will jeopardize that. And there's cowards. I've even said that, well, to go around the country and paint most churches yellow, because because that's what they are, they're yellow. So it takes patriots to fight. If you remember, the framers, when they signed the Declaration of Independence, they thought they were signing their death warrants. They were convinced that they were going to be killed, and they would have been had the British won that fight, they would have executed all of those men that signed that declaration of independence and 8:49 many others. That's a brand that brings a thought to my mind about Win Win or the church and I say the church meaning just the body of Christ. Yeah. When are we willing to sign our death warrant? You know, it's obviously 9:05 not now. 9:08 But so we went, how bad you got to get for us to say, Okay, this is enough. We need to stand up and do some Yeah, I don't like you said, I don't know that we have that much time. 9:17 Well, Gary, in my presentation, when I when I get toward the end of it, I step out of character, and I become myself in my presentation. And I talk about what happens to a culture when the church goes silent. And I use Germany as an illustration. You know, the church in Germany just sat by while Hitler and the Nazis took over, because, you know, economy was getting better things were looking up and I even show pictures of Cardinals and bishops standing there doing the Heil Hitler salute. I even have pictures of Cardinals and bishops shaking hands with Hitler. They thought that if they could stay neutral, everything would be okay. Well, we know how that turned out. It wasn't okay, and In the end, Hitler went after the Catholics to I mean, he hated them all. Because tyrants cannot allow freedom of thought they just can't have that you got to knuckle under. And tyrants will always go after the church because the Church says, No, we're accountable to God and you're not God. That's why the Caesars in Rome, were so rough on the Christians, the first two or three centuries, because the Christians refused to say, Caesars Lord, Jesus is Lord. Now we'll we'll submit Caesar to you as our governor, but you're not the Lord. Well, that wasn't good enough. And so they killed Christians. That's what they always do. So I don't know how these preachers, these modern preachers today think that if America falls and goes Marxist, that they're going to be okay, because they're not going to be okay. 10:55 To me this, it's for me, it's plain to see that everything that we're going through right now, with the vaccines and the January 6, and all the things that are happening, I mean, we're getting hit, we're in a war, and we're getting hit from all sides. Yeah, if you look at it, every bit of it is anti God. It's an anti rubberised is moving itself around the world. And so if we're in that place, then to me, the church, the body of Christ should should shift from a peace time mentality to a wartime mentality. Yes. And so, you know, and you hear that, I know you did an article on Romans 13, unlimited submission to government released that book, there's a great bunch of people that that's what they fall on, you know, well, we got to submit to government and I hear it, you know, I think even in Titus three, one through two says, remind them to be subject to the rules and authorities to obey to the already for every good work to speak evil of no one to be peaceful, gentle, showing all humanity, humility to all men, you're right, that you're like, Okay, so I can't stand up and fight against, you know, Allah, because that would be speaking evil. 12:09 But Gary, in my book that I just released on Romans 13, by the way, if the people are interested in my materials, they can go to my website, Dan Fisher brr.com. And they can they can get our materials. But in that book, 12:22 we'll have all that in the links in the in the show notes and all that we'll have all that Lego as 12:26 well, in my book on Romans 13, I identify the kind of government that Paul is saying, you should submit to he says that the kind of government that's worthy of your submission, rewards the doers of good and punishes the doers of evil. And by doing so, they become a minister of God, because all authority ultimately comes from God. Then I quote, preachers from the Great Awakening, and our war of independence, who, who were preaching about those very passages of Scripture, and they clearly say, as Paul does that, if a government does the opposite of what Paul says, and they punish the doers of good and reward the doers of evil. Well, that's the opposite of the kind of government Paul's talking about. So, in a republic, like ours, all lived under a dictatorship. We live in a republic, where the people or the government see people have got to understand that the government is not in Washington, DC. The government is not in their state capitol, the government is in their house. They are the government. That's what a Republic is. So if a government does the opposite of what Paul says it's supposed to do, it's not a minister of God. Do we honestly believe that Hitler was a minister of God, or that these godless democrats who actually took God out of their platform and want to murder preborn babies, even after they're born? They want to lay them on a table and let the mother and the doctor decide what to do with it. You it's much you know, a botched abortion. 14:03 Nancy, they just passed yesterday, I think it was thirsty. HR. Oh, my gosh, I forgot it. They just passed a bill that is called the women's health. And if you go in there and you read, and I did I went through and read some passages of their how they define what a woman is, and that it's just insane. It's insane what they're saying. Yes and No, right. You had you had one democrat that voted against it 14:34 in that sad Democrat. So that's why I say that Christians shouldn't even call themselves Democrat. I don't believe you can be a democrat and be a Christian. I don't either. And it's not because I'm dyed in the wool Republican, because I'm just as mad at the republicans as I am the democrats just for different reasons. I'm mad at the republicans because they don't stand for what they say they believe because our platform the republican party platform is great, but these turkeys won't stand for it. And then Senator They won't fight. They just they're just too much. Now all they care about their own careers, but when you look, see democrats for years have been hiding behind this mother's health thing. And the average American reads that and they say, Well, sure, we, we want to be able for a woman who's pregnant that has like, for instance, an ectopic pregnancy where the mother is going to die, because the baby is forming in the fallopian tube. Sure, the doctors have got to take care of that. That's what they think when it says mother's health, no, but but the democrats what they mean by mother's health is, if the mother is distraught, if the mother is worried if the mother is anxious, that they call that the mother's health, well, of course, a woman pregnant outside of wedlock is anxious and distraught, they've sinned, I wonder they're going to do what murdered their baby. They hide behind these terms. And until Americans wake up, and start to smell the coffee, As the old saying goes and realize that we're just flat out being lied to typically by both sides, but certainly by the left. They don't mean that their words don't mean what we think they mean, they've taken these terms, and they've redefined them. When they talk about paying your fair share, you know, when they talk about taxes, what they're talking about is theft. Yeah, what they're talking about is, you shouldn't make over a certain amount of money. And if you are wealthy by their definition, then you want to be able to confiscate it. The problem is, Gary, that's that, and that, that sin, and I've never been hired by a poor man. 16:41 I've said that so many times, I said that I said, Everybody I've worked for has always got more money than I do. They might go businesses, right? Is it because I'm self employed? And I've like, I've never worked for a poor person. And, you know, I've hired poor people. Yeah. But I've never worked for a poor person. No, in the mentality of what they say with that. It's just it's bizarre. 17:03 But isn't it funny, but isn't it funny that even though those democrats are themselves wealthy, that that law doesn't apply to them, because they're able to shelter their money and hide it, and steal it from taxpayers. So like, Nancy Pelosi is against you owning a gun, but she has hired guns surrounding her. She's against building a wall on the southern border, but she has a wall all the way around her property. 17:28 So Is that wrong? Yeah. Is that wrong for the church to stand up and say, Well, I see you as you're making laws, and you're the government, you're the government officials. Why is it that wrong for churches to stand up and, and speak that out and say that in the pulpit wrong, 17:47 Gary, it's wrong if they don't, yeah, Jane says in James 417. If you know to do good, and you don't do it, you've sinned. In a republic, citizens are the masters, but if they don't do their job, tyrants are more than happy to step in and do it for him. So when Jesus says render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's in America, Caesar is the people. So if you're going to obey Jesus command to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's you've got to be engaged in government at the citizen level, because that's what a Republic is. So your face obeying the commands of the Lord. 18:23 Wow, I'll say that again. I've never heard that that that because when you think of Caesar, you think of Oh, the bad guy. You know, because we're a republic. We are Caesar, we 18:33 are Caesar. So when Jesus says render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's if he was speaking in America today, then he's saying, citizen, do your job, because in America, since we have a republic of by and for the people, then we are Caesar. So the Christian that doesn't do their job is disobeying the command of Jesus to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's. So we're sending the Christian that doesn't vote in America, the Christian that doesn't speak out on these issues, the preacher that doesn't bring the biblical perspective on an institution that is of God and is found all throughout Scripture. I mean, I've challenged people show me an Old Testament hero that wasn't involved in government at some level. Show me one. 19:22 Didn't Jesus deal with the government half his life anyway? I mean, it wasn't. Of course he did. He was constantly failing when 19:28 he even refused to submit to these Sabbath laws because they were they were unbiblical. Even though the Sabbath laws were as binding as the other Roman laws. Jesus didn't submit to all the laws. He didn't submit to those that were improper. He refused to do it. So he wasn't a rebel. He's the Lord. He's sinless. But show me one Old Testament hero that wasn't involved in government. You can't find one. I mean, Esther. Abraham, Abraham fought a war to To go free lot, I was Moses, Joshua, and they go through the list Daniel hit, you can't hardly find any. Because the job of the Christian is to be engaged and be salt and light in the culture. And governance is a key ingredient of the culture. It's not all that there is in the culture. And I'm not suggesting that all of the answers are found in government. But I am telling you, that government is 1/3 of what God instituted so that we could live civilly on this planet. And if you don't address that, 1/3 that 1/3 goes to hell. I mean, literally hell in a handbasket. And if it's government, think of the damage that it does. If it's the home if we don't address the home, and it goes to hell in a handbasket. What happens in America? well over half of the minorities in America, over half of their pregnancies are from unwed mothers, we can see what's happening in America, look at the divorce rate. Okay, so if you don't address the church, from a biblical perspective, what happens to the church, it goes to hell in a handbasket. What's happened to the church in America. So what preachers are doing these days and they've been doing it for two or three decades, they preach Christian psychology, what they're basically preaching is self help gospel, about how you can be a better you how you can have your best life now, how you can have five steps to success, three steps to this four ways to do that. And yeah, the Bible does teach how we can be a better us. But what the Bible really teaches is how we're to be holy instead of happy, and how holy people stand up against evil. And what's happening in America right now is evil. It is wicked. Nancy Pelosi is one of the most wicked women to ever be in governance in America. And I would say that if she was a Republican, I don't care that she's a Democrat. In the end. She's one of the most wicked individuals, Chuck Schumer, same way. Joe Biden has been wicked. All of his political life is just that now he's kind of mentally diminished and people kind of feel sorry for him. Go back and listen or read, listen to or read the things that Joe Biden used to say back when he was mentally, all together. He's a wicked person. Kamala Harris is so bad. She was the first one to drop out of the Democratic primary. She's a wicked individual, these people are wicked Bill Clinton is a wicked, immoral whoremonger according to Scripture. You know, Hillary Clinton is a turncoat liar. I mean, according to Scripture, I'm not saying that I'm attacking them personally. Jesus can save them but the Bible calls liars people that are going to be in the lake of fire. 22:51 So we need sorry that I'm so No, no, there's nothing to be sorry for because that's hail and brimstone. And we haven't heard that and 50 years, you know, well, 23:01 you know, you read in the book of Revelation it says, all liars will have their partner like a fire. Well, that's liars. That's Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. They're liars. You know, all of those who practice sexual immorality. So you go to First Corinthians six, when Paul lists the people aren't going to be in heaven. He lists drunks, thieves, liars. Now, yeah, he lists the sexually immoral, he lists them right along in the sexually aberrant. But he but if you look at the list closely, you'll find yourself on it. I found myself on the list. That's why I need Jesus. But these people that walk around claiming to be Christians, and on their way to heaven and their habitual liars, or their adulterers are adulterous is whether homosexual or lesbian Scripture says they're not going to be in heaven. 23:42 Did you watch it the way that leads to life is narrow. Did you hear the the new governor of New York or is it whoever took grief? Yes. And he starts talking about God, God brought, you know, God's saving us with this vaccine and God, this and God that like, Okay, I need to find out what church she goes to, because what she's spouting is so demonic. 24:08 Well, Gary, what she's done is she's created a god in her own image. That's what the Romans one talks about. Romans one talks about a fallen culture that redefines God in human terms. That's exactly what they do. They're talking about God, all right, but it didn't the God of the Bible. And if it is the god listed in the Bible, it's his name is Satan. These people are ministers of Satan is what they are. 24:32 Yeah, no, no. You're getting me riled up, because that's what I want to hear. That's what I want to hear in the pulpit. That's where we're at. That is 24:42 Fairview come to Fairview Baptist Church. And you'll hear it every Sunday. All the people can come to one of the churches that are going to have me do the black robe and they'll hear this stuff. 24:54 Yeah, any any pastor this, listen to this, I encourage you to reach out to him and let's talk We'll talk about your, your, your boot camp. But yeah, reach out to reach out to Dan, we'll have all the show notes and stuff, but to, to get educated to learn about this to, to sit down, have a meal and pray with, with Dan and to just really start looking at where our country is and what the passion of this, this black road regimen is, and, and just getting educated on history and and listen to what God's saying, but I just encourage anybody, you know, at this point right now to do that, as well as to the reach Look at his website. But talk to us about your boot camp, which, you know, what's the solution? I mean, we could probably I know I can go on for hours talking about planning and just getting riled up. Sure, you know, Holy Spirit, we got to pray to the Holy Spirit in our secret place. We've got to, you know, trust in Him, because, really, there's a question. Yes. And it's like, well, who can we trust him? We don't trust I don't trust anybody anymore. I used to, you know, you have some faith and faith and law and faith in the medical field. Well, that's out the window. Yeah, the land trust that. So we've always trust. If you're Christian, you always trust in Jesus and God, the Holy Spirit. But we're at a point where it's becoming real. It's not just something we read. It's real. It affects us deeply. So right solution. What's your solution for pastors? And how do 26:30 I believe there are two solutions, one of them is still far more controversial than the other. We can talk about it if you want to politically but spiritually, I believe the solution is pastors have got to reengage, we have got to have a modern version of the black robe regiment. And remember, again, that that black robe title was given by the British not as a compliment, but but as condemnation. When they captured these preachers out on the battlefield. I don't know if you know it, but they they execute most of them. Even while they're trying to surrender. I tell the story in my presentation of a preacher named john Rosberg, they executed him on the battlefield, he's trying to surrender to them. But we've got to have a new, we've got to have the spirit of the black robe regiment today. preachers have got to begin to engage, they've got to preach the whole counsel of God, not just the parts that they know people want to hear. They've got to preach the tough parts, too. And that's hard for me to do. Because it cuts me just like it cuts everybody else, the Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than a double edged sword, the book of Hebrews says, so it's going to cut us when we preach it. But that's how we become closer to what God wants us to be. But so so my solution is to get pastors to engage. So the guy that I co pastor with, there's two pastors in our church, Paul Blair, and myself, we've been working together for years now we're in the same church together. Because we travel and speak so much. We have started doing what we call a Liberty pastors boot camp, or a Liberty pastors training camp. And by the way, you want to put that website up there to Liberty, pastures calm, okay, they can go to the website and find out where we're going to do the next camp. We're working on scheduling some right now. But what that camp is, is it's a three day boot camp, and I mean boot camp, we begin it by me doing the black robe Regiment, the whole deal. But anyway, we teach pastors, the nuts and bolts, and we asked them to bring their wives with them, and we put them up for three days, they pay a nominal registration fee, and donors pay the overwhelming majority of the whole cost they get in, they get a kind of a three day vacation in a really swanky place with meals and everything. But we teach them the nuts and bolts of what it means to be a black robe, preacher, and how to do that in their churches and why it is so critical. And I would encourage any pastor to come that's listening, or if there's a church member listening, and they want to encourage their pastor to come. There are many guys that were at our last camp. We had about 100 pastors and then their wives. We had men there who the church members sent them, they heard about it, and they put the money together and sent the pastor. So we we train these men, and when they come out of there, they have no excuse. They know how to be a black robe preacher. Now it's time to do it. And they also become part of a network of guys that we've trained. We've trained over 700 preachers around the country, and they become a network. They become a part of a network. And we do continuing education, we'll do webinars and other things that they can take advantage of, to continue their learning and sharpen you know, As iron sharpens iron, we all need to get better and so we do it together. 29:42 Do you have somebody in the Nashville area that you know, necessary? 29:47 We, I don't know if we've had pastors from the Nashville area, the Bible. We'd love to do one in Tennessee. We're working on doing one right now in Missouri. Arkansas. So that's pretty close to you. We just finished one in Houston, Texas, we've done them as far away as Miami, Florida. So yeah, yeah, we're so if you know somebody in your area would be interested in helping to host one, we'd love to come to the center of Tennessee and put on one it'd be, it'd be wonderful. 30:22 Well, I'll see what I can get going on something like that. Okay, great. That's contracting needed. definitely needed. Well, I know we could keep going for hours. But be respectful of your time. But so what's what's a final parting word that you would give to us as we listen to the individual, the individual person in the congregation that hears this that might be stirred, to want to get back a little bit more of learning what they can do, because I get overwhelmed when I think about everything that's going on in this country? And and where do I, you know, where do I start? I've got you know, some people have wife and kids. And of course, I do, too, but they're grown. But yeah, they have families and jobs. And it's like, I just don't have enough time. And then when I do have time, I just want to decompose from the world, because all I hear is the bad stuff going on. And everybody's on Facebook. And and yeah, we're getting canceled in every place we can go. But that's part of the remnant is that the remnant? is what's coming out of this. There's, yeah, there's the masses aren't getting it? 31:29 No, they're not? Well, what I would say to the individual person is that you either go to fight, or you're going to lose it all. Look what's beginning to happen with people who refuse to take the shot, whether or not the shots a good thing is a different argument. But I'm definitely against the government forcing you to take a shot, but what's happening to them, now they're losing their jobs. So not engaging, not engaging, is going to come to all of us. So they neither sit in a house and decompress or go do their hobbies, and stay out of the fight, but the fights coming to them. So it's just a matter of time, I would say to people in the church. First of all, you need to learn this history, not all of it, none of us have mastered it. But learn enough of it that you know what you're talking about. And then make sure that your pastor is engaged in doing this, if he isn't go to him and asking to give him the materials, challenge him. If he won't engage, get out of there, go find a church where the pastor will engage, be a part of a congregation, that's going to make a difference. Now, granted, we want to preach the gospel, and we want people to be saved. But we also want to be salt and light. And you can't separate that you can't just say, we want to get people saved. But then that's the end of it. No, that's the beginning of it. That's not the end of it. And so they've got to be in a church where the pastor is going to engage and stand up against evil. The spiritual war is raging. It's whether or not we're going to be faithful and get involved. And if we're not, we're going to answer to the Lord for that. And in short term, we're going to probably answer here in America because the republic that we knew the republic that the framers founded is gone. Now, it still exists in some states, but it doesn't exist in New York, it doesn't exist in some of these states that have given up and the and they have gone left, and we better just recognize that that's where we are. And these people better engage Time is running out. It's running out. 33:29 Yeah. Now, let me go back to something real quick that you'd said you talked about the boot camp, but then you said there's a political aspect whether I want you want to go into it or not. Yeah, cuz I'm, 33:40 I'd be happy to, I believe that the Republic is gone. Now. I really, I believe the republic could be saved in some states. The union is too large to be governed by one government and we're too different. We are I believe irreconcilably divided. It is time for a political separation. I think the framers if they were to come back today, they would be amazed that we have one government governing over 300 million people. That's not the way it was originally designed. The states were sovereign. And the federal government had very limited responsibilities. The states were the ones that were most in charge today. It's the opposite. So you have one monolithic government in DC that's trying to control everything. Well, people in Oklahoma are very different from people in Massachusetts. You can't pass the same laws that people of Massachusetts want to murder preborn babies in Oklahoma. We want to save them. But we're being forced by a federal government that's out of control. So I think it's time for like minded states to stand up and say either you back off, or we're pulling out. I mean, it's just time and I don't mean a war. nobody's talking about shooting at people. You don't have to have a war to politically separate. It's happening. All over the world, Scotland nearly separated from Great Britain A few years ago, Great Britain just pulled out of the EU, Catalonia is working on separating from Spain, that the the right of free association is one of our rights from God. And the original states would have never joined the union if they thought they were stuck and couldn't get out, and would even be forced to go against their own religious beliefs. This is why Texas, for instance, insisted when they joined the union, that they remain a republic and could pull out at any time. This is why it's called the Republic of Texas. And they even put in their ratification papers that they could divide Texas up into as many as five states. That's in their agreement. That's it That's in their agreement. So it's time we can't be, we can live peaceably with people like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden, but you can't be under their government, not if you're a conservative, not your Christian, these people are Marxists. And to sit here and worship some nostalgic America that used to exist and go down with them, like going down with the Titanic is not only insane, it's a sin. It's a dereliction of duty. Thomas Jefferson even said in the Declaration of Independence, that when government ceases to do its primary function, the citizens have three steps that they can take, I call it DEF CON, three, two and one. They can either alter it, abolish it, or throw it off. But they not only have the right he says in the declaration to do that they have the duty to do that. We're there. I believe we're at DEF CON one. 36:41 Yeah. And you think about what, when you said that I was thinking about Okay, we had the Puritans or separatists. This effort is that what the pilgrims were that's where we're, that's where we're at. We're at the separatist place, getting away from England, get away and in America is at the same place to get away from this government that's in charge. That's exactly right. Yeah, exactly. And there, but there's nowhere to go. Yeah, well, you don't, there's not another country, we 37:11 don't have to go you pull out, you create a different government. If Jefferson was not saying did you have to go to some deserted island, he was saying you pull up the Declaration of Independence was a secession document, they were seceding from Great Britain, we celebrate it. It's what it was, they were breaking. In fact, he says when it becomes necessary to, to break the political bonds that have tied two peoples together, when it becomes necessary to do that. Sometimes that becomes necessary. And I believe we need to try to save the republic in as many states as we can. And I think there's about 25 or 26 states that would do it. It's time to do it. If we don't do it pretty soon, Gary, they're going to have is painted into a corner, it's going to be checkmate. And we're done. 37:57 Right. And if we're not standing up at this hour, then years down the road, when we have grandkids, they're gonna be wondering, what what were you doing doing during what were you 38:08 doing? Well, most of us won't because would be dead? Yeah. Like, they'll excuse? 38:13 Yeah. And the older I get the more I think, Well, you know, it's, it's not my problem, you know, but you bet it's your problem. It's definitely my problem. And you may have got to do that. And I think the calls are problem. Yeah, the call that you're putting out there for, for educating pastors and helping them along, and just waking up the church and waking up the people to understand where we really are. And I think looking back at our history is so, so important, you know, because we are repeating the history, and we are maybe too late. And only through and only through God can will we know in a few years, but we've got to do something 38:54 well, even even if it's too late, we got to go down swing and Gary. And again, when I use these terms, I'm not talking about shooting at people. I'm talking about fighting the good fight, the spiritual fight the political fight, that's what I'm talking about. 39:06 And it's important not to be compartmentalizes, what we'll get is was people will say, well, you need to share the gun. It's all about sharing the gospel. The world's coming to an end. Anyway, we know that the end of the story, so we just need to get the gospel spread. Well, that's true, but we still that's building the wall. Yeah, we still need to fight, right? 39:27 Here's what I say. I say if somebody believes that preach the freedom to preach the gospel as the most important thing, then surely the second most important thing is fighting for the right, the freedom to preach the gospel. If preaching the gospel is the most important thing, then the freedom to preach the gospel is the second 39:44 most important thing, and I encourage everybody to wake up, pay attention to what's going on around us. Pay attention to what's happening in Australia. Pay attention to what's happening in Canada. Pay attention what happened in Louisiana, with the pastor down there. What was his name spell, Tony. It's happening in our backyards, and we need to realize that we need to just be awake. You're awake. Oh, Dan, this has been Austin. I could talk for hours. Thank you, Gary.
