This episode of Cadillac Jack: My Second Act is split into two very different parts. First there is some pretty gut-wrenching news about the son of Dr. Laura Berman. It leads to a frank discussion about the difficulty of quarantine for teenagers, but also the dangers of unrelated Big Tech. Above all, the message is one of transparency and communication. Make sure everyone you care about knows the lines of communication are open.  The second part of the show is about Tennifer (that’s with a ‘T’) the Gorilla Glue Star. The Louisiana woman tried using the product in a way that… well, you probably just shouldn’t do. In fact, according to Gorilla Glue’s legal team, no reasonable person would even consider it. To look more at the case, Caddy and Donna bring in Jeffrey Jackson. Jeffrey is an attorney and managing partner at Jackson & Brubaker. He calls in to answer some of Donna and Cadillac Jack’s questions and offer Tennifer some advice. We’ll sum it up for you here: Good luck. Let us know what you think by texting or calling 7704646024. Follow Caddy on Twitter @atlcadillac and come out to Gallery Furniture this Saturday (Feb. 13) for some hot dogs. And Caddy. Plus both Donnas. But mostly hot dogs.

Money FM's Bernard Lim calls up ST sports correspondents David Lee and Sazali Abdul Aziz. They discuss the doubts that have swirled around the staging of the July 24-Aug 9 Tokyo Olympics because of the coronavirus situation. Will the Games go on, or could an unprecedented cancellation during peacetime be on the cards? And amidst all the uncertainty, would a postponement be a viable solution? Kellyn Taylor is a 2:24 marathoner and ranked #7 on the US all-time list, but her story is so much more interesting than a time on the clock. She's also training to be a firefighter, has a passion for fostering children, and is working to instill her trademark mental toughness in her own daughter. In this interview led by Kara and Shanna, we cover it all. Kellyn tells us about her Wisconsin roots where she grew up doing gymnastics and playing soccer before running became her primary sport. She talks about her transition into pro running with MacMillan Elite before she made the shift to work with Ben Rosario at NAZ Elite. She gives us the details behind her running highs and lows including two narrow misses for making the Olympic team in 2016 in both the marathon and 10K, her DNF at Boston in 2018 in nor'easter conditions, and her big PR in 2:24 at the Grandma's Marathon just 8 short weeks after the Boston disappointment. In addition, she shares personal stories about returning from pregnancy to run again and the roller-coaster ride it can be as a foster parent. Finally, we discuss the clean sport culture within NAZ Elite and Kellyn's perspective on the great shoe debate, including why she believes that all carbon fiber plates should be banned. Like her teammates from this interview series Steph Bruce and Scott Fauble, Kellyn is an open book who isn't afraid to tell it like it is, and we appreciate her so much for that. We are excited to cheer her on from the sidelines in Atlanta next weekend! As mentioned in the closing to the interview, you can meet the Clean Sport Collective podcast co-hosts in Atlanta on Saturday (Feb 29). We will be offering a 3-mile shake-out run with Kara, Shanna, and Chris at 8:30 am from the Olympic Rings in Centennial Olympic Park near the Trials finish line. Come for the run, meet the hosts, and get your CSC temporary tattoo to rep as you cheer for the Trials!

What Are You Afraid of? Horror & Paranormal Podcast

EPISODE 109: KATRINA WEIDMAN Katrina Weidman, co-host of Destination America’s Paranormal Lockdown, returns to hang out with horror author T. Fox Dunham on episode 109 of What Are You Afraid Of? Horror & Paranormal Show. Katrina is a good friend to the show, and she returns to talk about season 3 of Paranormal Lockdown. Kat shares insights about her investigations and tells the creepy tale of several paranormal encounters she had while filming at some of England’s most haunted sites including the Beattie Mansion, Shepton Mallet Prison, Cambria Jail and the Drakelow tunnels. Included in her stories is the tale of phantom knocking, shadow figures, a frightening spirit she calls “The Creeper” and the story of a condemned woman named Cassandra who was terrified of death. The season finale of Paranormal Lockdown airs this Tuesday, February 5th on Destination America. Also, because it’s Fox’s birthday on Saturday Feb 2nd, he reads an excerpt from his novel, Destroying the Tangible Illusion of Reality or Searching for Andy Kaufman, his book about life, freedom from fear, cancer, the real America and the road-trip of three strange friends as they seek out the legendary song-and-dance man, Andy Kaufman, published by Perpetual Motion Machine Publishing. Is Death the Inevitable? In the third grade, a teacher told Kat she would never amount to anything. Ha! She’s from the Bucks County area, and her life changed when she dropped off a friend at Pennsylvania State University. She then transferred to Penn State and joined the world-renowned Paranormal Research Society, training and working as their case manager. She co-hosted A&E’s hit docu-drama “Paranormal State” from 2007 to 2011, which chronicled the work of the PRS. Kat then became the host for Chiller’s “Real Fear: The Truth Behind the Movies,” which explores the real life terror behind some of the world’s most iconic horror films and hosted the follow-up special, “Real Fear: The Truth Behind More Movies.” Now she co-hosts the show Paranormal Lockdown which is playing its third season for Destination America. It’s a show that follows her and Nick Groff as they live in some notoriously haunted sites for 72 hours. Kat continues to pursue projects in music as a singer, and she writes about haunted kitchens and recipes in her blog, Haunted Kitchens.

It contains mostly new tracks from recent months. It also includes a Djebali repress and a classy 2007 Sebo K remix of Martin Landsky’s Let Me Dance on Poker Flat, that fits right in. " You can find Charles spinning regularly at clubs such as Flash and U Street Music Hall in Washington DC. Ep. 351: How Mountaineering Can Help Heal - Jane Parnell

Adventure Sports Podcast

Jane Parnell has been hiking and climbing the Rocky Mountains since the 1970's when she discovered how the mountains could heal her traumatic wounds. After being raped when she was twenty-one and with few people believing her claim, she met a mountaineer who introduced her to mountaineering. They would eventually be married. Jane's new passion helped her cope with the trauma of the rape and other family issues that weighed heavily on her throughout life. By the time she was thirty, she had become the first woman to climb the 100 highest peaks of Colorado. Jane continued her quest for the summit by turning the goal of sumitting the 100 highest peaks into conquering the 200 highest and ultimately setting her sights on the 300 highest and nearly reached that goal. Jane is on the show today to share with us the ways in which adventure sports,  and more specifically mountaineering,  can help us find and maintain some sanity in our crazy world. Check out her new book: "Off Trail: Finding My Way Home in the Colorado Rockies"   Jane will be at her book signing at the Tattered Cover in Denver, CO this Saturday Feb. 24, 2018 @ 2 pm.
