Steve Weintraub is the Founder and CEO of Gold & Diamond Source, a family-owned fine gold and diamond jewelry store. Steve was introduced to the jewelry business by a friend from high school and began making gold-plated seashells. In 1983, they built a 10,000-square-foot building and Steve began producing fine jewelry. After joining forces with his wife Julie, Steve's business grew from a small jewelry store to one of the most successful standalone family operations in the US. Julie Weintraub is the Vice President of Gold & Diamond Source. She is also the President and Founder of Julie Weintraub's Hands Across the Bay, a nonprofit organization with a mission to positively impact the lives of Tampa Bay residents and organizations by advocating for change and providing resources for those in need. Recognizing needs within their community, but not having money to donate, she and her husband Steve started the organization to be able to give away jewelry and help victims of domestic violence. In this episode… Did you know that diamonds are available in all colors of the rainbow and that 24-carat gold is soft enough to move with your hands? If you are a lover of jewelry, you know that there's a piece for all occasions, it can complete any outfit, and it's customizable. But more than anything, jewelry is personal and has its own story. Veteran jewelry store owner Steve Weintraub understood all of this more than three decades ago when he first entered the jewelry business. The industry was also a source of success and devastation for him. But when his lovely wife, Julie Weintraub, entered his life, they combined their talents to create a fine jewelry wonderland. So what's the secret behind the store's success? Join host Kevin Hourigan of the Growth Fire Podcast as he chats with husband and wife business duo Steve and Julie Weintraub. Steve is the CEO and Founder of the Gold and Diamond Source, and Julie is the Vice President of the Gold and Diamond Source and the President and Founder of Hands Across the Bay. Together, the two discuss the golden nuggets of their store's success, advertising and branding strategies, why jewelry stores still thrive as brick and mortar, and why they're passionate about giving back.

He has access to these worlds, and he has a type of vision that is pretty much singular to him. There was a lot of stuff to be excited about, and to play with, and to try to figure out. The Watcher is introduced on the cover of 1963's FANTASTIC FOUR as the most dramatic being in all of the universe. If you get asked as an actor to play something like that, you kind of take interest! It's all about that drama. He's born into the Marvel Universe in an interesting way, popping out on the moon there with the Fantastic Four. I wanted to find out who he was so that I could figure out, how might he sound for the first time, hearing him?”   Kevin Feige Gives Update on ‘Loki' Season 2, Says Director Search Will Begin Shortly https://collider.com/loki-season-2-update-filming-when-kevin-feige-interview/   Collider's Steve Weintraub spoke with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige during the press day for Marvel's new film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, he asked Feige for an update on Loki Season 2. The Marvel executive was characteristically tight-lipped, but did confirm development is underway and the hope is to retain much of the same team that made Season 1 of the series:   “It is underway. We're developing it as we speak. The hope is that much of the same team will return. Kate is going on to bigger and better things, so the director search will begin shortly.”   As for when Loki Season 2 might start filming, Feige promised he's “not being evasive” but said he's “not sure exactly where it falls between next year and the year after.” So production could begin as soon as 2022, or it might not go before cameras until 2023, which means an even longer wait until it's on Disney+.   Loki was not originally planned as an ongoing series, but the decision to make a second season was made during production, which led to some tweaks to the final episode. After the finale of Loki aired, reports surfaced that Hiddleston will be seen as Loki in the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. So it's possible that whatever Loki Season 2 is is tied to how the multiverse unfurls across the next few Marvel movies. Shang-Chi and Eternals both appear to be fairly disconnected from the multiverse idea, but Spider-Man: No Way Home and the aforementioned Doctor Strange sequel both reportedly deal with the arrival of the multiverse pretty heavily.   Marvel's ‘Armor Wars' Starring Don Cheadle Taps Yassir Lester As Head Writer Of Disney+ Series https://deadline.com/2021/08/marvels-armory-war-yassir-lester-1234818795/ Sources say Yassir Lester has been brought on to pen Armor Wars starring Don Cheadle, who will reprise his role of James Rhodes aka War Machine. 1. Entertainment Weekly: Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are in negotiations to portray Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in a film about the beloved TV (and real-life) couple set up at Amazon Studios, “Being the Ricardos,” from director Aaron Sorkin. The film is said to take place during one week of production on the iconic sitcom I Love Lucy. Beginning with the Monday table read and following Desi and Lucy through the Friday audience filming, Being the Ricardos delves into a point of crisis in their lives that challenges both their careers and their marriage. Cate Blanchett was circling the script to play the leading role of Lucille Ball, according to reports, but has now been replaced by Kidman. Fellow Aussie actress Blanchett was in talks to take on the role as early as 2017, when it was first bought by Amazon. 2. Variety: Netflix has made good on its high-profile promise to deliver new movies every week. The streaming monolith is guaranteeing its roughly 193 million subscribers unseen features every week in 2021. “Red Notice,” starring Gal Gadot, Johnson, and Reynolds; the Western “The Harder They Fall” with Regina King, Idris Elba, and “Lovecraft County” breakout Jonathan Majors; Amy Adams’ “The Woman in The Window”; Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead”; Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Tick, Tick … Boom!”; “Don’t Look Up” starring Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande, Timothee Chalamet, Kid Cudi, and Meryl Streep. 3. Collider: There were a lot of questions that arose when Disney bought 20th Century Fox, but one big question Marvel fans had was about the future of the Deadpool franchise. Clearly, Disney wouldn’t throw away a franchise and character as valuable as Deadpool, but questions remained regarding how the R-rated property would fit into the exclusively PG-13 box of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Collider’s own Steve Weintraub recently spoke with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige in anticipation of Marvel’s first Disney+ series WandaVision, and during their conversation, Feige gave a promising update on Deadpool 3 saying the following: “It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

John and Omar spend some time exploring his work on Trick, what he enjoys about going back into the horror genre and what some of his favorite horror movies are now. Then Rocha takes him on a trip down memory lane as they discuss some of Epps greatest film and TV roles, what he remembers about his time on those projects and what he thinks about them now as he looks back. He also talks about what motivated him to write his book “From Fatherless to Fatherhood”. Plus, he tells an incredible story of his time on the set of Juice with Tupac. It’s another wide open, fun and entertaining discussion with one of the best actors working today. Collider partnered up with IMAX, Paramount Pictures, director Ang Lee and super producer Jerry Bruckheimer for a special screening of Gemini Man at IMAX HQ followed by an extended Q&A. During the 60-minute (!) Q&A, Lee and Bruckheimer talked about how they got together on the project, the challenges of filming in high frame rate, what Lee learned from past films to make Gemini Man look better in 3D and HFR, the numerous technical challenges of using these new cameras, how the film changed in post-production, how shooting at 120 frames per second changes the editing process, the nuances of creating the younger Will Smith, their favorite scenes, how they were able to shoot underwater, and so much more it would be impossible to list everything here. Trust me, if you’re a Ang Lee or Jerry Bruckheimer fan and want to learn Gemini Man was made, you’re going to learn a lot watching this Q&A. Check out what they had to say in the player above and below is exactly what we talked about. If you haven’t seen the trailers, the sci-fi thriller sees Will Smith as a retired assassin being hunted by a 23-year-old clone of himself. Smith plays both parts through the magic of modern technology and the film doesn’t shy away from the actor going head-to-head with his own doppelganger. Gemini Man also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen, Benedict Wong, and Douglas Hodge. Ang Lee and Jerry Bruckheimer: Bruckheimer talks about what TV show he would love to guest produce. And Lee, what show he would like to guest direct. They talk about what movies they’ve seen more than any other. They reveal what props they kept from certain productions. They confess which films scared them as kids. Bruckheimer and Lee shed light on what it was in their youths that told them they needed to be involved in movies. When people meet you, what do they want to talk about? Or is it different in certain areas of the world? Bruckheimer and Lee share how they first met. Lee talks about when David Ellison first pitched him the idea, asking if he wanted to see a young Will Smith. Since the movie sat on a shelf for a while, when did they realize it could finally get made? How much convincing does it take for Bruckheimer to get Will Smith to do a movie? Lee talks about the state of the technology, and how he pulled this off, and what he learned from his past films (and how to light 3D). They talk about the technological feat that is these cameras (seven of them), with rigs made special for the film (in Germany). They discuss just how difficult it is to shoot with these cameras. They reveal the painstaking process of bringing “Junior” to life—and just how many people were involved in that. Lee convinced Bruckheimer he could do this by using a scene from Bad Boys. How did they made a 50-year-old Will actually look 50? They talk about the nuances of aging, and how the face changes. What shot did Lee go back to because he wasn’t satisfied? Lee talks about what changed in post—from the first cut to the finished film. What was the last thing they cut out before locking the picture? Lee talks about the difficulty of shooting in a high frame rate with fewer cuts, and how he took advantage of that. What...
