Before The Weekend, Justin Bieber and Drake, the person who helped push the Toronto sound, was Danny Fernandes. A guest with a history as rich, it was only befitting that Osama and Mohammed tried their best to figure out the significance of Danny's legacy to Canada, Toronto and Canadian music. Yet also try to examine the intricacies of layers from his story that were never revealed or discussed. Although there are many lessons from this episode, Danny does not hold back as he expresses his thoughts on the new generation, his impact and his gift for realizing a star when no one else even cared. The three names mentioned in the beginning are a few of the people who not only looked up to him but have memorable stories in which Danny knew their talent and the impact they would have on taking the Toronto music scene globally.

NOTE: THIS IS A RE-VOICED RE-PRODUCED VERSION OF THE (SINCE DELETED) ORIGINAL, FEATURING A MUCH BETTER MICROPHONEBorn in 1914, Ruth Lowe spent the first few years of her life in Toronto before moving with Mom, Dad and little sister to California. The family had been struggling, but Dad – an American – had a couple brothers in Glendale… so he opened a butcher shop there. One problem. You’ve probably heard of it. It’s called the Great Depression and it eventually put an end to Dad’s business. So the Lowes uprooted again and returned to Canada with little more than the piano Ruth and her sister Mickey had trained on.
