Gabriele Mazzi hat seinen Glauben im Hinduismus gefunden. Der ehemalige Geschäftsmann aus Locarno (TI) ist heute ein Hindu-Mönch. Seit 11 Jahren lebt der 58-Jährige in einem Ashram in Deutschland. Schon bald kommt er wieder zuürck in die Schweiz und gründet eine neue Wohngemeinschaft. Gabriele Mazzi fühlte sich schon als junger Mann stark zum Hinduismus hingezogen. Er reiste oft nach Indien, um zu meditieren. Seit Jahren setzt sich der 58-Jährige mit der hinduistischen Lehre auseinander. Der gelernte Lebensmittelingenieur war zuvor ein erfolgreicher Unternehmer im Bio-Lebensmittelbereich. Doch glücklich machte ihn sein Leben in Saus und Braus nicht: «Ich hatte Mühe mit dem ständigen Leistungsdruck. Ich war der Sklave meines eigenen Erfolges.»Vor elf Jahren gab er alles auf und zog in den Ashram seines spirituellen Meisters nach Heidenrod-Springen in Deutschland. «Ich erfüllte mir meinen grössten Traum» Mönch zu werden, war sein grösster Wunsch, sagt Gabriele Mazzi: «Ich bin aus der katholischen Kirche ausgetreten, weil mir da viele Fragen des Lebens nicht beantwortet wurden. Im Hinduismus finde ich viele Antworten». Dass er sein reiches Leben gegen ein Bescheidenes eingetauscht hat, bereut er nicht. Diesen Sommer kehrt Gabriele Mazzi zurück in die Schweiz. In Oberhofen bei Thun entsteht eine neue Wohngemeinschaft mit Gleichgesinnten: «Ich freue mich sehr auf diese neue Aufgabe!»

With a Master's in interior design from the Florence Institute of Design in Italy, Sandie honed her skills at prestigious firms like Christopher Maya Inc. before founding S. Mazzi Interiors in Atlanta. As a principal designer, she brings her vibrant and detail-oriented design approach to life, gaining recognition in leading publications like Atlanta Magazine, Pop Sugar, House Beautiful, and Modern Luxury.
