Daniel Jones talked about being 2-7 as they head to Germany. Kevin Durant was on with Kay Adams and talked about Dak being his fantasy quarterback. She didn't know he had a fantasy team and he said, ‘another woman that doesn't listen'. Scott Boras talked about Juan Soto and what he brings to the team. In the final segment of the hour, the Giants are playing the Panthers in Germany and it will be one of the worst games of the season. Boomer expects the Giants to win. Hour 1 The Knicks lost in Atlanta last night but Boomer is going to give it 20 games before he starts making determinations on what this team is. Gio said Christmas is a good time to take stock of the Knicks. Gio is concerned with the Knicks depth off the bench. Boomer talked about gritty Knicks players and said Jerry is the grittiest guy on the show staff. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Atlanta announcers taking shots at Jalen Brunson. After the game Trae Young said, ‘take y'all ass home' to Knicks fans in the crowd. Joe Douglas met the media and talked about the frustration of being 3-6. He said, ‘I serve at the pleasure of the owner'. Scott Boras talked about Blake Snell and Pete Alonso and did his dumb wordplay jokes. In the final segment of the hour, Dak Prescott actually tore part of his hamstring off the bone. James Jones owes him an apology for saying he quit on his team for a hamstring injury. Boomer said this injury puts the Cowboys in play for Shedeur Sanders. A caller thinks Boomer is being a bleeding heart woke liberal when it comes to his takes on the Knicks. Hour 4 Gio said when he gets home from work, he is quiet and doesn't talk much. His wife and daughters are the loud ones talking non stop. Gio is locked into a TikTok account of a guy who works at a convenience store. We somehow managed to move on from TikTok singers to the Knicks. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of Atlanta Hawks radio mocking Jalen Brunson. Trae Young then told Knicks fans to, ‘take y'all ass home'. Jerry plays clips of himself as Rutgers beat Wagner. Scott Boras talked about teams building rosters and if Juan Soto would be a part of that.. The Moment of The Day: A caller thinks Boomer is liberal when it comes to the Knicks and Gio loves a convenience store TikTok singer. Just before dawn on the last Saturday of June 2013, an employee at a Toys ‘R' Us store in upstate New York was working in the stock room, when suddenly he heard an alarm going off somewhere inside the store. He radioed his manager to turn off that alarm, but the manager didn't respond. Another employee went to the front office to check on the manager, and they found him unconscious and bleeding from a hole in his chest. Police and paramedics responded and rushed the man to the hospital, but sadly, he was dead on arrival. The store had been locked all morning, and the four surviving employees had been working in separate parts of the store. Each of them claimed to have seen nothing out of the ordinary that morning. Willy welcomes Richard Baker. Baker is currently the governor, CEO, and executive chairman of Hudson's Bay Company (HBC), and is also the owner of National Realty and Development Corp (NRDC). In 2006, he acquired Lord & Taylor for $1.2 billion and served as its Chairman. He purchased Hudson's Bay in 2006 and took the company public in 2012, getting it listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The show starts with Richard emphasizing that “We're all born with what we're born with,” pointing out his innate ability to see things differently from a young age and his drive to go a different route. He believes that we need to maximize our strengths to build our self-confidence. Having studied hospitality at Cornell University, he thinks hospitality applies to all fields. As a natural people-pleaser, he aimed to change how real estate developers do business by focusing on customer service. Although his plans to acquire Toys R' Us fell through, he created NRDC. Being in the game got him the Lord & Taylor acquisition. “If you're always hanging out by the hoop and playing the game, then you'll make your share of baskets,” he says. He states that “We're not investors, we're value creators,” using intellectual leverage as a tool. The financial crisis only led him to pivot and maneuver in the right direction. Richard spotted an opportunity in Canada to turn it into a credit landscape, buying Hudson's Bay despite initial detractors. His previous knowledge of running a department store made it easier for him to make a choice and operate the company.
