Awkward La période de l'adolescence où on se sent mal dans sa peau quand on pense être bizarre aux yeux de tous. C'est le quotidien de Jenna, qui suite à un quiproquo, devient ultra populaire. Eh oui, ses camarades pensent qu'elle a commis une tentative de suicide alors qu'elle a juste vécu un regrettable accident. Avec son ton humoristique un peu absurde qui rappellera Malcolm, Awkward enchaîne les punchlines. Teen show, certes, avec son lot de romance entre Jenna et Matty, mais avec des thématiques bien développées. Du harcèlement scolaire, à l'isolement adolescent, en passant par les premiers rapports sexuels, c'est forcément la période charnière où les jeunes se sentent incompris. Et pourtant, grâce aux amitiés (et parfois aux parents), ils sauront surmonter cet âge ingrat en cinq saisons. Côté casting, vous reconnaîtrez notamment Beau Mirchoff (Good Trouble) dans ses ados qui vont réussir à vous émouvoir. Forcément, l'une des deux parties a de véritables sentiments pour sa meilleure amie et qui ne connait pas le trope de amoureux·se de sa·son BFF. The King is in the building! The assuredly bombastic new 'Elvis' directed by Baz Luhrmann is hitting theaters this weekend and we're pretty excited to see what that twelve (or was it ten) minute standing ovation was all about that it got at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Along the way, we scour the archives for some relevant Elvis content that will entertain, illuminate, and amaze, which we have linked below so as to edify. Also coming out this week is a new horror movie, "The Black Phone," starring Ethan Hawke as a serial killer whose previous victims are, from beyond the grave, trying to help free his current victim. The creative team behind the project includes directors Chris Prynoski (executive producer, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe) and Jennifer Kluska (Hotel Transylvania: Transformania), and writer Brenda Hsueh (supervising producer, Disjointed). The film is part of the expanding Ghostbusters universe, which began with Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters in 1984 and has since become a mega-pop culture phenomenon culminating in last year's Ghostbusters: Afterlife.  Ghostbusters: Afterlife SequelReitman and Kenan will confirm what the end credits of Ghostbusters: Afterlife hinted at - that the live action sequel will return to the original films' New York City and Firehouse setting. Ghostbusters VR AcademySony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR), in association with Ghost Corps, will announce Ghostbusters VR Academy, a new, fully immersive training simulator broken up into two distinct games, set in the world of Ghostbusters. Published by SPVR and developed by HOLOGATE, the worldwide leader in compact location-based virtual reality entertainment, Ghostbusters VR Academy will be available globally for HOLOGATE's ARENA and BLITZ platforms at over 400 locations by the end of 2022.
