Send us a textIn part two, the gloves come off. Kevin and Roman dive into the chaos of defining impact across diverse teams with Matt LeMay. From freemium metrics to ROI confusion, Matt exposes why so many organizations fail to align on what "impact" actually means. This episode is your backstage pass to better collaboration and smarter goal setting.Detailed Analysis: Episode 38 tackles the messy business of misaligned metrics. Matt shares how product teams often assume they understand impact—only to find marketing, customer success, and sales have completely different definitions. The result? Disjointed strategies and missed opportunities.Matt calls for radical alignment: teams should set goals no more than one step removed from company-level objectives. This not only surfaces tension between teams (think lifetime value vs. new users) but creates a dialogue for harmonizing objectives. Collaboration isn't optional; it's the secret weapon. The episode also zooms out, showing that Matt's framework applies far beyond product. Marketing, customer success, even sales can use the same approach to rethink how they measure success. This isn't just a methodology. It's a mindset shift. If your goals live in the middle zone of vagueness, it's time to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Now you can interact with us directly by leaving a voice message at https://www.speakpipe.com/CustomerSuccessPlaybookCheck out https://funnelstory.ai/ for more details about Funnelstory. Your brand isn't just a logo, a social media feed, or a website—it's a system. When your marketing feels disconnected, it's usually because you're building in silos instead of creating a brand that works as a whole.First, you hire a designer for a logo. Then you hire a marketer for social media. Then you hire someone else for your website. And suddenly… none of it actually feels like it fits together.Sound familiar? If your brand feels off—even after hiring experts—this episode is going to change the way you think about branding and marketing forever.Inside This Episode, We're Covering:Why a brand is a system, not just a collection of marketing piecesHow hiring contractors without a clear brand strategy leads to a disjointed messThe danger of "siloed marketing" (and how it's costing you consistency and clarity)Why your logo isn't just one design but should be a complete suite for different applicationsWhy having brand guidelines is essential before hiring specialistsHow misaligned marketing pieces confuse your audience and waste your moneyConnect with me:Instagram - @pane.marketing

Liv answers listener questions about Helen, the trouble with translations, pesky personification deities, and more. The episodes referenced were with guest Maciej Paprocki. Submit a question for a future Q&A here. CW/TW: far too many Greek myths involve assault. On the Friday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Brian Batko to react to the team's NFL Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Offensively, what should we make of the late surge from Russell Wilson, Calvin Austin III and the offense after a sluggish first half? Was the Justin Fields package a true spark? Or did it leave the unit disjointed at times? What was going on with George Pickens as some of his frustration boiled over? And what should we make of another game where Jaylen Warren was more efficient than Najee Harris in the running game? Are duo tackles those questions, plus looks back on some controversial Mike Tomlin coaching decisions that proved pivotal. Then they wrap the show talking defense. Was the Steelers' pass rush as bad as it seemed? Or did Jameis Winston, Jerry Jeudy and the Browns just make some impressive plays in the face of pressure from T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig and Cam Heyward? And what should we make of the secondary's performance with names including Joey Porter Jr., Minkah Fitzpatrick and Donte Jackson allowing some key plays to go Cleveland's way?
Fitzy and Mego look more into the Patriots following yesterday's 28-22 loss to the Rams and realize the situation in Foxborough looks more chaotic than it appears. Then, the issues for the Pats stem from a coaching staff full of first-time coaches and why these rest of the year should be focused on who they want to be. And, the Celtics have had some close games early on in their title defense which sparks a debate on if fans should be concerned with the undefeated Cavs on deck.

Last Friday's joint filing in the DC election interference case before Judge Chutkan highlighted the deep chasm between Special Counsel Jack Smith and Trump's legal team when it comes to how to proceed after the immunity decision. MSNBC legal analysts Andrew Weissmann and Mary McCord give their unique perspective on what both sides offered up and which arguments hold merit. Then, they head to New York to detail the second effort by Trump's legal team to remove the hush money case to federal court, weeks before his scheduled sentencing before Judge Merchan.*** A note: Shortly after this episode was recorded, the federal judge denied leave to Mr. Trump to file removal papers after determining that no good cause for the late filing had been shown and removal to federal court was not warranted. Next stop: Trump can appeal that denial to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Also to listeners: MSNBC Live Democracy 2024 is now sold out. This week I had a colonoscopy right before I recorded. It may have made the show a little, all over the place, or maybe it made it better. Regardless I think it is a good one. On "Table Talk" Elle and I talk about the WSOP being bought by NSUS, the primary investor for GG Poker, and their plans for the future. We discuss the Norwegian Poker Open, and teaching the grandkids how to manage a bankroll. On this week's "Call the Floor" Elliott rules on a situation where the floor reverses their decision much after their original decision. "HOTW" this week has Patrick and I playing pocket J's from the Big Blind. Then I end the show with "Joe's One Outer" discussing poker with purpose. RadPoker, Fast heads up poker and an Ante Up Poker series to boot. What's not to love. Click here for our Linktree. It is a quick resource to get you to our magazine, podcast, YouTube, and more. For most of the first three quarters, Friday's game in Phoenix looked a lot like some of the other lesser efforts for the Lakers this season, including Wednesday's debacle in Houston. Terrible perimeter shooting, horrible defensive rebounding. Disjointed offensively, sloppy on defense, very little spark. Then, the lid came off the rim. Six straight made and a lift in defensive pressure and suddenly the swagger was back. And everyone was getting involved. Cam Reddish, though, really stuck out as a positive. He had five triples on the night, after making only two through the first eight games this year. Austin Reaves (who played 35 minutes despite coming off the bench) had some huge fourth quarter buckets. Anthony Davis was much better in the second half than the first (finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds), and Rui Hachimura was excellent. And, of course, LeBron James was nails all night. 32 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, plus a steal and a block. He kept the Lakers alive until the rest of the team finally got it going. The Lakers now have two wins, both comebacks, over the Suns, and rather than drop to 3-6 are now 4-5 coming home for three games starting Sunday against Portland.HOSTS: Andy and Brian KamenetzkySupport Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!eBay MotorsFor parts that fit, head to eBay Motors and look for the green check.
