VANESSA'S BIO Vanessa Velasquez is a young leader and should give us all hope and excitement about the future of America. Raised by a single mom in Vero Beach, Florida, she was most recently a White House Fellow and attaché to the Secretary of the Navy. She will continue to serve the country in an innovation focused role at the Department Of Defense. While she's had to learn an alphabet soup of strange government acronyms she excelled and has been one of the youngest Fellows in history. A remarkable human who happens to be a Latina. Some past White House Fellows include CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta, NBCUniversal Chairman César Conde, Director of the National Economic Council and past Federal Reserve Board Governor Lael Brainard, Compass founder Robert Reffkin and Wes Moore, the Governor of Maryland. They know how to pick them and Vanessa's “pinch myself moment” is as humbling as it is deserving.  Vanessa gained early and  valuable experience at two of the most successful companies in the world, at Apple as a Global Supply Manager and at Amazon, where she supervised crews at fulfillment center operations, eventually doing corporate development work at Seattle headquarters focused on Amazon's engagement with millions of Hispanic small businesses. Vanessa dedicates her time in and out of work to underserved communities. She mentors Hispanic Scholarship Fund scholars to and served as the inaugural Director of Fulfillment Center and Community Engagement at Glamazon, Amazon's LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group. (host comment: Glamazon is a pretty amazing name, for sure.) She is the youngest Top Of The Gamer hosted by the show. Vanessa earned her B.B.A. and B.A. from Mississippi State University and is a proud alum of the school. The liberals circle the wagons to defend Fetterman. CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta brought a visual model on CNN to help explain John Fetterman's stroke. Joe Biden said his son "lost his life in Iraq." He actually died six years after he left Iraq in Maryland of brain cancer. This is either an intentional lie or yet more evidence Biden's dementia getting worse every day. This isn't a minor slipup. Democrats plan to subpoena Donald Trump for January 6th hearings. [00:30] Blockading Canada's Economy (15 minutes)Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came out of hiding yesterday to attend an emergency session of Parliament. “Individuals are trying to blockade our economy, our democracy and our fellow citizens' daily lives,” he said, referring to the ongoing protest against vaccine mandates and lockdown. Trudeau fails to appreciate the irony in his statement. [15:10] Children's Bones—or Maybe Tree Roots (5 minutes)Last year, the Canadian press made shocking claims that the remains of 215 children had been found at the Kamloops Indian Residential School in Canada. We now learn that these “remains” might just be tree roots and that the whole story was a hoax to paint Canada's history in a bad light. Remarkably, Canada has hardly reported on the new findings. [20:40] ‘It's All Theater' (11 minutes)CNN's Dr. Lena Wen recently admitted, “We should … be honest and say that masking has had a cost.” Everything the radical left said about the virus early on—that lockdowns would slow the spread, that the virus didn't come from a lab, that vaccines are safe and effective—has proved to be wrong. Regarding ridiculous mask mandates, comedian Bill Maher said it best on his show: “It's all theater.” [31:15] Federalist Report on Pennsylvania (6 minutes)A whistleblower in Pennsylvania provided new footage of election fraud in Delaware County. Pennsylvania is one of many states that continue to turn up evidence of what has been clear to the majority of Americans since Joe Biden entered the White House: The 2020 presidential election was a total fraud. Afghanistan is now under Taliban control. Some 11,000 Americans are still in the country as thousands of Afghans who aided Americans, fight to escape amid urgent fears for their safety. I don't know, you tell me. It sure feels that way. How else do you interpret, "We have a very narrow window to tie reopening policy to vaccination status. Because otherwise, if everything is reopened, then what's the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine? We need to make it clear to them that the vaccine is the ticket back to pre-pandemic life." Guess what? The sun IS good for something - like shrinking the COVID-19 vaccine.
