Call it arrogance, call it confidence, call it… whatever you like, really. One way or the other, Sony is showing its stuff off on its own terms, and the corporation has succeeded in getting our little podcast to devote an inordinate amount of time to said titles as a result. Either that, or it's just been a slow news week. Hewso is back in charge this week, and he has brought a robust crew along to join him. We have ray-of-sunshine Jess, deputy editor man Steve and, err, Tim's here as well. Clings to this thing like some kind of fungus, he does. At least he actually watched the PlayStation presentation that we're all talking about, we guess. Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. What happened to episode 30? Only the GarageBand gods know. Thankfully we had an extra episode in the can and we're back with number 31 without missing a beat. And we're all still playing Baba is You, so we'll be getting back to that soon enough.Until then, this week we're all pretty into everything we've been sinking our time into. DJ, Kevin, John (& our buddy Glenn) played some Flat Heroes right before recording and can't wait to keep chipping away at the top spots on the leaderboards. DJ kicks off an interstellar sci-fi adventure, Planet Alpha, and may have talked Kevin into giving the demo another try. Randall & Kevin are inspired by Kevin's recent romp through Cave Story, and plow all the way through Studio Pixel's follow-up, Kero Blaster. John wraps things up with (a lot of) family time and talks about his their history with the Civlization board game from the 80s, published by Avalon Hill—we dip into a brief discussion on our experience with the computer/console series, as well. Discussed:Flat Heroes - 00:01:23Planet Alpha - 00:14:28Kero Blaster - 00:23:07Civilization (Board Game & Series) - 00:34:47 Thanks for listening. Brett and Austin give a new indie game a try called Wargroove. It's inspired by a game from the Gameboy Advance days called Advance Wars. This one takes a different spin by adding a medieval/fantasy theme to the gameplay. Austin also plays Planet Alpha. It's a side-scrolling game with gorgeous graphics and surviving and solving puzzles in a foreign world. In our news, auto-chess is all the rage these days. Last week, Valve dropped Dota Underlords and Riot dropped Teamfight Tactics. Both are taking on the auto chess craze started by some modders in the game DOTA. EA says they're still committed to Anthem and Assassin's Creed has a story creator that has spawned several farming quests. In our discussion, naturally EA is back in the news with their legal briefing in Europe where they were being questioned about loot boxes and gambling. Their representative said loot boxes are actually "surprise mechanics" and people find them to be fun and enjoyable. She said they are doing nothing unethical. It's funny to see such a large company changing their story so often. Check out video clips of our news every week over on YouTube. Lucy kicks off this week by bringing the idea of Strip Fortnite to the table. Apparently it's the newest, stupid craze kids are doing. Who knows really. We quickly move into the Red Dead 2 corner as Ben updates everyone on climbing a mountain and Aadil gets excited about the prospect of modding the game if it eventually releases on PC. Talk turns to the idea of multiplatform accounts and Warframe, followed by Steam achievements and trading cards. Ben picks back up the game chat by opening up the GOTY chat having returned to play Florence. Lucy keeps us solid with impressions on Akane and Planet Alpha, this somehow gets derailed into chatting Avatar, Fern Gully and Roger Rabbit. It's a broad beer week. Ben has two beers from Beer 52's Table box. The Radio Alice NEIPA and the Ghanaian Spiced Porter. Lucy drinks a supermarket purchased Yeastie Boys White Noise and finishes on a Cloudwater A-W18 Brewed All Season IPA. Aadil drinks a Sinner Pale Ale from Iron Fire Brewing followed by Lost & Found R22 APA Fomosaic.

Każdy pędził w tę i z powrotem. - Comentamos impresiones de State of Mind, Planet Alpha, Into the Breach, Devil May Cry y videojuegos cooperativos de sofá. Saludos Androides!

Przez szpital płynęła masa ludzi. Każdy pędził w tę i z powrotem.
