Welcome to Boss Bitch Radio! In today's special episode, I'm joined by someone I talk about often but haven't yet had on the podcast—my boyfriend and partner-in-crime, Jack! We're diving deep into how couples can navigate health and fitness together, sharing what's worked for us as we've built healthier habits over time. From our first meeting (where I might've been driving a "roller skate" of a car) to Jack's inspiring 30-pound weight loss, we chat about how our lives and fitness journeys collided—despite initially having zero plans to date a bodybuilder! If you're in a relationship and trying to stay on track with your own health goals while supporting a partner who might not be on the same page, this episode is for you! #couplegoals #coupleswhotrain KEY TAKEAWAYS: 00:00 Introduction to Today's Special Episode 00:46 Meeting Mr. Boston Jack 01:21 First Impressions and Early Relationship 02:06 Shared Passions and Career Paths 02:29 Challenges of Dating a Bodybuilder 04:13 Jack's Health and Fitness Journey 07:56 The Role of Diet in Weight Loss 14:30 Teamwork in Relationships 18:49 Intimacy and Confidence 22:11 Feeling Better Together 22:29 Sharing Responsibilities in a Relationship 23:53 Fitness and Motivation as a Couple 25:40 Walking and Talking: The Power of Communication 27:58 Health and Family History 29:52 Supporting Each Other's Health Goals 33:02 Looking Forward: Future Health and Fitness 39:47 The Importance of Diet and Connection 42:05 Conclusion and Final Thoughts Links Mentioned: Don't forget to sign up for our Coffee with Coach: Goal Setting Workshop for FREE! https://www.bossbitchradio.com/coffee-with-coaches-free – Sunday, January 5th at 10 a.m. PST Join the Boss Bitch Besties Fitness Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dianefloresifbbpro Connect with Diane: Website: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dianeflores_ifbb_pro YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@dianeflores_ifbb_pro Join the Boss Bitch Besties Fitness Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dianefloresifbbpro Freebies: Plateau-Buster Guide: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/plateau-buster-guide Protein Snack List: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/protein-snack-guide Sleep Hacks: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/sleep-like-a-queen Full Body Training Program: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/full-body-gym-program 5 Easy Tips to Stay Motivated: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/5-easy-tips-to-stay-motivated Fit Girl Gift Guide: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/fit-girl-gift-guide My Favorite Supplements: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/myfavoritesupplements Show Day Packing List: https://www.bossbitchradio.com/show-day-packing-list Work with Diane: Work that Booty, Bestie: Glute Goddess: FREE 7-Day Challenge My 12-Week Transformation Program: The Goddess Body Project Fuel Your Body with the Goods: Try Meal Prep Delivery with FitKitchen Code: Diane10 Try this Energy Shot from Magic Mind - Code: BBRadio Fave Boss Bitch Protein Bars - Built Bars *Use Promo Code: “Diane” at check out Cured Nutrition Code: BossBitch saves 20% off first order Nutrishop Supplement Shop - Code: BossBitch (free shipping)

All these questions and more are answered inside this episode – a best-in-class of all the TBM wisdom we have for you around self-worth. By the time you're done with this episode, you'll get it. Your “Shadow” is pretty hard to wrap your mind around. But it's in there – you have one. And it's contributing to your sense of reality right now. It's that part of you that thinks you're not good enough, not cool enough, not smart enough. It's the part of you that creates a narrative around why people don't like you, why someone might be mad at you, why you might never have the things you want in life. We've got good news, though. Your shadow can be healed and integrated so that it's no longer running your show. And a big part of that is simply educating yourself on this idea of “shadow work.” That's what this episode is for. And no matter if you heard this episode when we originally aired it or it's your first time listening, the more you learn about your shadow, the less it power it has over you. Lacy, Jess, and Dr. Tara break it all down from the perspective of manifestation, clinical psychology, and everything in between. You'll hear personal stories from all three of them about overcoming their shadow aspects, specific signs that can point you toward your own shadow blocks, how this all plays into manifestation, and so much more. Remember: becoming self-aware means being willing to know all parts of you. Press play, and don't be afraid to look
If your memory serves you, you might recall a mini-unblocking episode we did with a Pathway member named Marina a few weeks back. She did a session with Lacy and Jess where they helped her navigate a dwindling savings account in her career as an illustrator. Well, folks. Marina's story has come full circle, and she's back on the pod today to make you say “DANG I need to get back into this work!” You're about to be mind-blown by the TBM magic all over again when you hear how Marina has fully embraced this lifestyle. Cause that's really what this work is! It's a never-ending practice of self-reflection, and for Marina that practice means letting go of perfectionism, getting radically honest with herself, and learning to identify and work with her ego. You're gonna hear about how Marina discovered TBM, her “Great Uplevel of 2021”, and a list of all the absolutely insane things she's manifested with us. And listen, if you really want to feel amazed, go check out her first episode, ‘Expanded x Ep. 244 - What To Do When Your Career Flow Dries Up: Unblocking Ego'. You'll see how your own manifestation journey is playing out in real-time – like, right now – and you can start to daydream about your own manifestations you'll connect with when you start to get into the flow of this practice. We love Marina's story because she has captured the essence of what it means to be a true TBMer and get really good at manifestation. What does it really mean to be magnetic? It's our namesake, so we're gonna define it for you right here, right now. And more importantly, we're gonna teach you how to become it. In this episode with Lacy, Jess, and Janelle, we go over the 6 pillars that every magnetic person embodies, your first step to getting there, and the connection between magnetism and manifestation. We talk about detaching from outcomes, honoring the inherent magnetism of children, and reclaiming your self worth by sourcing it internally (rather than externally). Being magnetic is one of the most exciting parts of the TBM process – once you feel what it's like to step into your unique magnetic self, you're immediately on the journey towards embodying it more and more every day. Right now, today, in this very instant, your childhood wounds are playing out – in your communication style, in your anxieties, in all your conflicts with friends, family, coworkers, romantic partners, and more. That's how powerful our wounds are. And simply becoming aware of them makes us that much more powerful! So we brought one of NYC's best and brightest LMFTs, Vienna Pharaon, onto the Expanded Podcast to help us do just that. And her new book, The Origins of Wounds, is our new instruction manual. In this episode, Vienna gives us an overview of the book and introduces us to the 5 core wounds that may be running your show. Jess and Vienna talk all things coping strategies, being the black sheep of the family, perfectionism, “unconditional love” that is actually conditional – you know, all the good childhood trauma stuff. But the difference is Vienna cuts through the overwhelming existentialism that comes with the healing journey and gives us the inspiration to start. To continue! To press onwards in this lifetime pursuit of healing for the sake of our own authenticity. We're all on this path together! The Baunji Strong Foundation was established shortly after the loss of Billy Bauer's beloved canine, Baunji, to osteosarcoma. Given a few short months to live, Baunji astounded the medical experts over the course of the next year and nine months with an “amazing quality of life” that conventional medicine had not seen before. Our focus in the fight against canine cancer is one of positive messaging while advocating for pet parents, equipping them with the same tools and resources utilized successfully in Baunji's own journey.

Erin lives in Minnesota with her four dogs. She used to be known as the crazy cat lady and at one time had 7! Following a mental condition that sort of crept up out of nowhere, she suddenly had four dogs! Erin believes that dogs and mental health should go hand in hand. She got Lore first at 8 weeks(sept of 2018)when her mental state was at its frailest. He gave her mind something else to think about rather than my anxiety. Having to care for this puppy gave me a purpose, she had to get out of bed and she had to take him outside. Erin believes that he saved her life. She got Chester in may 2019 also at 8 weeks(he is Lores brother from the next litter). He has the perfect temperament for being a esd and Erin recently gathered all the info to make that happen. He goes with her to work and many other places and provides the comfort she needs. He even helps her swallow my medication! In Oct 2019 Erin saw Juniper on Facebook at a local shelter and arranged to meet her. It was love at first sight but it was between her and another potential adopter so Erin eagerly awaited that phone call. They chose her!! She is from a reservation in SD, very loyal and sweet to those she knows. She is a protector. She was approx 1 year old at that time. Xavin came with Erin's boyfriend when they moved in together in July 2020. Hes the old Man of the pack at 7. Very sweet, fiercely loyal. The other dogs seem a bit much to him at times but they are learning to peacefully cohabitate. Erin cannot imagine having a life without dogs! She still has one cat, tho. :)Erin enjoys taking photos and running their instagram account. It is her hobby. She loves taking pictures of them, editing and making posts. When she scroll back, its crazy to see how much Erin's photography has improved!Connect with Erin and her babies:instagram.com/lore_chester_juniper
Stephanie is an artist who runs the instagram account "disneytized_petshop." She transforms people's pets into cartoon characters using digital art software in a style that resembles the characters from 2D animated films.Stephanie has always been a creative person and comes from a family of many artists (woodworker, photographer, cartoonist, needlefelter, creative designer for fashion, metalworker, jewelry maker, taxidermist, painter, musician, illustrator). She has always connected most strongly with other creative people. Stephanie's interest in drawing started when she was a child; she watched drawing tutorials every day on Mark Kistler's "Imagination Station" that aired on public television. However, as an adult, Stephanie studied law and social justice instead of art, as many people told her one could never support themselves financially with a career as an artist. It wasn't until the pandemic that she decided to start doing artwork again because it was something fun she could easily do from home, and, contrary to popular belief, she saw a demand for it.Stephanie's 14 year old pug passed away last year, but she is now fostering a street dog that was rescued by the animal shelter at which she currently volunteers in Taiwan. Soon she will be bringing the dog back to the US to her forever home (Stephanie's parents want to adopt her!) She has been living abroad for the past 5 years in Australia, Vietnam, and Taiwan, and is finally returning home where she will continue to work remotely. She has two jobs at the moment - one is running her Instagram account where she does commissioned artwork including pet portraits, logos for pet businesses, and illustrates children's books starring people's pets. For her other job she does college counseling, where she helps foreign students apply to study abroad at US and UK universities. She also painted a few large murals this summer, which is something she'd never done before.P.S. The Holidays are coming. Diana Lucchi is a fantastic pet fashion designer. She is married and has 10 grandchildren, 1 little pup, Lorenzo, a parrot, DaVinci, and a beta fish named Tiny Tim. All her life she has loved to create – from crochet, sewing and embroidery, to needlepoint, painting and even some leathercrafting. Diana has been crocheting and sewing since she was 8yrs old; making her own Barbie doll clothes and then her own clothes and costumes. One of Diana's passions was, and still is, Halloween costumes. She also has a tremendous love for all animals, especially dogs. When she got her first 2 small dogs in 2004, her passions collided and she began designing for them. This quickly became a small business where Diana still currently sells on DianaDesignsNY.etsy.com and StylinDogsBoutique.etsy.com. But the fun really began when she became involved in the dog community in rescue events and fundraisers; Celebrity Catwalk being her favorite for several years. She started with modeling for Celebrity Catwalk with her 2 furbabies, Giupetto and Gianna, but for the past 2 years she switched hats and began to design for scenes in Jennifer Bartok's runway shows. Not only does she enjoy designing the outfits for the most beautiful dog models, but she gets to meet them and their fabulous moms and dads and many friendships have formed. And let us not forget that all of this is for fundraising for various rescues – a win/win. When she designs for Celebrity Catwalk she likes to come up with a theme for the heroes scene and this lets her imagination flow; which Diana believes enhances her designs and perhaps adds some extra fun to the runway. Some of her scenes have been: “Do We ‘Bug' You?”, “What's In Your Garden?” and “A Music and Dance Celebration”.Celebrity Catwalk also has some contests. Who doesn't love a contest? She looks forward to the November show, where she will be bringing something a little different to the runway. Her new pup, Lorenzo, will also be modeling in the show.Connect with Diana LucchFacebook: Diana LucchiInstagram: GiupettoGiannaTailsUnique dog sweaters / dresses / skirts / costumes ... by DianaDesignsNYhttps://www.etsy.com/shop/dianadesignsny/?fbclid=IwAR34GBVtMOF4f0QqcAqxcS0APSfKf9RoIIo2E1H7HU8RBF7QBAuIrjSeM6U ⭐️GET OUR FREE PET PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE: www.petpixacademy.com

Magnolia, who lovingly goes by Maggie or Miss Mags, is a stunning lavender Frenchie who unfortunately was born without eyes. But don't feel bad for her! She was rescued by an amazing organization called French Bulldog Village at 8 weeks old, when her breeder surrendered her, and was immediately taken into foster care by her foster mama Cindy and Olde English Bulldog brother Tator in North Carolina (and she is such a Southern Belle, to this day I swear!). When Orsha saw her photo on Instagram a few months later, she knew that the next chapter of her life was about to start. Because Orsha knew she was meant to be her baby girl. Maggie's mom applied. Fast forward to now and she is living and loving her absolute best life in the Rocky Mountains beside Calgary, Canada, with frequent trips back to the ocean in British Columbia. Orsha and her husband chose to rescue a special needs pup in honor of their two Frenchie girls Anise and Clover, whom they lost tragically very young. They wanted to give a disabled dog an incredible life where every single day, no matter how many days there would be, was going to be filled with adventure as a tribute to them. And that is what they're doing with Maggie! Whether she's hanging with one of her boyfriends or many friends, modeling various clothing, dog accessorized and art brands, hiking (on longer trips she has a Baby Bjorn Orsha carries her, as she went from failure to thrive as a baby to a healthy 24 lbs. and ("she's a bit heavy for my arms now!") or swimming in the ocean which she LOVES. Orsha and her husband call her MerMags because it's like she was meant to be in the water. She is experiencing life to the fullest. She may not have eyes, but she sure is seeing with her heart. Her confidence, bravery, and determination, and just how CAPABLE she is, makes her heart so full that sometimes her mommy thinks it will burst. Orsha fully believes Maggie has rescued her and not the other way around. You can catch up with her adventures @missmagsthewonderdog, and Orsha is always happy to share their special needs rescue journey or to help pawrents (or those who might be considering becoming pawrents) of dogs with disabilities, especially those with visual impairments. After losing her father at the age of 8, Shanice McLeish was set on a journey to understand grief. As a teenager, she got involved with Cate's Place, a non-profit organization helping kids who have lost a sibling, parent or primary caregiver. In working with the children at Cate's Place she became aware of the fact that she hadn't grieved the loss of her father. She then started Grieving It with the goal of normalizing conversations about grief. She now has a children's book coming out on September 1st, Grief on the Playground. Dr. Joshua Black has dedicated the past eight years to studying dreams people have after a loved one dies, or as he calls them, "grief dreams". He's not just a researcher but he also had a dream about his dad after he died that he found to be very comforting and affirming. The research into grief dreams is fascinating to me. When Tricia was in college, she was in a horrific car accident and she died on the operating table in the Emergency Room. She floated above her body, she saw angels who were 9-feet tall standing behind the surgeon, sending light into the surgeon's hands as they worked on her injuries, she had a life review and saw her favorite (deceased) grandfather. Featured BTR World of Ink Network Show Stories for Children on January 7, 2013 at 2pm EST - 1pm CDT - 12 (noon) MDT - 11am PST Join hosts VS Grenier & Marsha Casper (our guest host) as they chat with debute children's author Elizabeth Kail Arnita about her Chirstian Children's Picture Book, BABY COME HOME published by Halo Publishing Int. “Baby Come Home” is a story of the young bird, “Baby”, who learns the value of unconditional love and acceptance after he decides to break free from the confinement of his cage and those who love him most. The story gives children a different perspective on rules and why we need to obey them while also offering a teaching on the unconditional love our perfect God has for His imperfect people. All proceeds from book sales support Welcome the Children, a nonprofit helping children in poverty. ISBN: 978-1-61244-087-3 Elizabeth Arnita is the youngest of 12 children. She learned early in life about family dynamics and the concept of sharing. After graduating in 1983, with a degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth married Shadi and they have been blessed with four fabulous children. Her love for the Lord has opened her eyes to a world in need and ignited her compassion for those who are less fortunate. She and her husband founded and continue to manage Welcome The Children; a non-profit organization that funds and supports children who are experiencing the reality of poverty. Traci McDonald has been a writer since she figured out how to make words on a page. Traci wrote for English classes like most people, but she wrote everything else in between. Traci won minor competitions with short stories, poetry and lyrics before becoming visually impaired. That is just a political correct way of saying Traci McDonald is blind.
