Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaks And Gymkata Dreams 18:59:12

The Rizzuto Show

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 24, 2026 38:58

The Grand Theft Auto 6 rumor mill is firing on all cylinders. Alleged leaks suggest GTA 6 could make players actually refuel their cars, because apparently escaping the cops and committing fictional felonies wasn't immersive enough. Now we may get the authentic experience of realizing the tank is on E at the absolute worst possible moment.Would stolen cars come with random amounts of gas? Could you abandon one because the tank is empty? Would GTA Costco memberships get you cheaper fuel? These are the important questions being asked by this comedy podcast while the rest of society presumably does something productive. Then we discover—or rediscover, depending on how damaged everyone's memory is—the 1985 cinematic achievement known as Gymkata. The premise is magnificently stupid: take gymnastics, combine it with karate and create an unstoppable martial art. That's it. That's the movie. Olympic gymnast Kurt Thomas is sent on a dangerous mission where his greatest weapon is himself…and the conveniently placed gymnastics equipment that somehow keeps appearing whenever dozens of bad guys need to be kicked in the face.Moon reveals that Gymkata has been living rent-free in his subconscious since childhood, including scenes that still randomly appear in his dreams. This launches the crew into an extremely important celebration of the ridiculous action and sports movies of the '80s: Rad, No Retreat, No Surrender, Best of the Best, No Holds Barred, Bloodsport and the glorious era when movie executives could apparently greenlight anything as long as somebody knew karate.Naturally, Jean-Claude Van Damme doing the splits leads Lern to ask questions about male anatomy that nobody was emotionally prepared to answer. Suddenly we're discussing whether men have a “seam,” whether God is responsible for said seam, and why absolutely none of this information was included in health class. And then Steven Seagal arrives. The crew finds audio of Seagal telling a story about being in Kazakhstan before stopping to ask, “How do you say in English…” despite being born in Lansing, Michigan. What follows is a forensic investigation into Steven Seagal's increasingly mysterious relationship with the English language, fake accents, international travel and whether spending enough time somewhere can legitimately change how you talk. From there, Crap on Celebrities turns surprisingly philosophical when Dr. Dre and Billy Corgan land on opposite sides of the AI music debate. Dre sees artificial intelligence as another creative tool, while Corgan wants absolutely nothing to do with it. Moon breaks down how producers already use loops, samples and pre-built musical elements, leading to a bigger question: where exactly does using technology stop being a tool and start becoming “cheating”?This comedy podcast also gets into Bret Michaels recovering from kidney stone surgery while apparently refusing to surrender his hat under any circumstances, Kacey Musgraves performing while floating on giant disco-ball truck nuts, Dolly Parton exploring avatar performances, Bonnaroo taking a year off, and St. Louis artist Slater covering Hole's “Violet.”Plus, the CW dumps Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, DC apparently decides Gorilla Grodd needs a true-crime mockumentary, National Treasure 3 inches closer to becoming a real movie, and Lern takes everyone on an unsolicited but surprisingly enjoyable Whitesnake journey. Then we wrap things up with celebrity birthdays—including Dave Chappelle, Cal Ripken Jr., Steve Guttenberg and Vince McMahon—before heading toward relationship fun facts and the mysterious 7-7-7 rule. It's GTA rumors, '80s movie nostalgia, celebrity news, music industry arguments, St. Louis chaos and several conversations that should've ended three sentences earlier. In other words: a comedy podcast.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

John Kalodner, famous for his long beard, white suit and magic ears, is one of the most famous and influential non-musicians in music history. He's the famous A&R man that brought us groups like Foreigner, Asia and Survivor and guided the rebirth of legends like Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Journey and Cher (which he has some salty feelings about). Maybe only Clive Davis has brought bigger songs and careers to life over the last 50 years. John joins us this week to spill on dozens of the artists he's worked with including Heart, Wang Chung, Kenny Loggins, REO Speedwagon, XTC, Billy Idol, Berlin, Madness, GnR and tons more. We didn't even bother including music this time - just let the stories flow. It's an instant classic!  www.johnkalodner.com www.patreon.com/c/thehustlepod

CLIMBers, we have an interview with A-List rock bass player Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Blue Murder, Dead Daisies) that was supposed to drop today. Marco was setting out on tour with Adrian Vandenberg (Whitesnake, Vandenberg guitarist) and Vinnie Moore (UFO); unfortunately, Adrian fell ill with a bacterial infection, which forced him to postpone the tour...So we chose to keep the interview in the vault to drop it once the tour gets rebooked. Please pray and send some love to Adrian! Here's the breakdown of the Classic Episode we're putting out in its place: I keep hearing artists talk about choosing this streaming platform over that streaming platform because it "pays" better. There is no set streaming rate for any streaming service. What the hell does that mean? Today, we're going to dive into why Spotify pays the least per stream, but you'd better be on there. Can a heavy metal musician help transform global food systems? In this inspiring conversation, Darin sits down with internationally acclaimed bassist Tanya O'Callaghan to explore the unlikely intersection of rock and roll, activism, compassion, and human connection. Best known for touring with artists including Whitesnake, Bruce Dickinson, Dee Snider, and Steven Adler, Tanya reveals that long before she ever picked up a bass guitar, she was fighting for animal rights and questioning the systems that shape our world. Together they discuss how curiosity breaks down cultural barriers, why meaningful change begins with conversations instead of confrontation, and how leading by example can inspire transformation in the most unexpected places—from helping a Vietnam veteran reclaim his health through plant-forward eating to partnering with Maasai communities in Kenya to improve access to clean water and sustainable agriculture. This episode is ultimately about integrity: living in alignment with your values, remaining open to learning from others, and remembering that changing your plate can become one of the simplest ways to change the world. What You'll Learn How Tanya built a career touring with legendary rock musicians Why activism became her life's purpose before music The childhood experience that led her to become vegan How curiosity creates connection across vastly different cultures Why compassion is more effective than confrontation Tanya's work with Maasai communities in Kenya The importance of sustainable agriculture and clean water The inspiring story of Bob, a Vietnam veteran whose life changed through friendship and food Why community begins with your neighbors How travel expands empathy and challenges assumptions Why whole-food, plant-forward eating benefits people, animals, and the planet How living with integrity creates ripple effects far beyond yourself Chapters 00:00:00 – Welcome to SuperLife 00:00:35 – Sponsor: Alkemis Paint 00:03:26 – Introducing Tanya O'Callaghan 00:04:31 – Twenty years touring with rock legends 00:07:21 – Balancing music with lifelong activism 00:08:34 – Building a career by saying "yes" 00:10:47 – Growing up in rural Ireland 00:13:05 – Challenging the education system and questioning authority 00:15:28 – Why activism begins with curiosity 00:17:02 – Sponsor: Shakeology 00:18:48 – The childhood moment that changed Tanya's life forever 00:21:03 – Becoming a lifelong animal rights advocate 00:23:08 – Compassion, food systems, and cognitive dissonance 00:26:09 – Why kindness—not judgment—creates change 00:31:19 – Meeting a Maasai leader and building an unexpected friendship 00:34:15 – Bringing clean water and sustainable agriculture to Kenya 00:36:32 – Learning from indigenous wisdom and traditional food systems 00:40:20 – Why whole-food, plant-forward eating doesn't have to be complicated 00:43:48 – Open-mindedness as the foundation for meaningful collaboration 00:47:08 – Why curiosity matters more than being right 00:50:11 – Bob: the Vietnam veteran who became family 00:53:24 – Showing up for your neighbors during unimaginable tragedy 00:57:10 – Food as a bridge for healing and friendship 01:00:10 – Community begins with ordinary acts of kindness 01:03:08 – Why labels divide and stories unite 01:05:15 – Living in alignment with your values 01:08:08 – The courage to question systems 01:10:48 – Finding purpose through resistance 01:11:45 – Staying true to the little girl who never stopped fighting 01:13:15 – Final reflections: changing plates can change the world Thank You to Our Sponsors Shakeology: Get 15% off with code DARINO1BODI at Shakeology.com. Living with integrity doesn't require perfection; it requires consistently aligning your actions with your values. Welcome back to the Daily Metal Breakdown. In today's episode, we break down a serious new civil lawsuit hitting Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan in Arizona, where a former management partner alleges a retaliatory corporate freeze-out over their craft gin venture. Plus, legendary bass icon Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, DIO) drops a massive curveball by announcing independent solo material heavily inspired by the pristine engineering of the late-1970s Yacht Rock movement. Finally, we look at Machine Gun Kelly powering through a grueling two-hour set after a violent, failed after-party roof jump left him with a severe back injury. What You'll Hear in This Episode: Boardroom Battles: The full operational breakdown of the civil complaint filed against Maynard James Keenan in Maricopa County over Potions LLC and Thirteen Moons Gin. Whistleblower Retaliation Allegations: Why plaintiff Dave Sanclemente claims he was locked out of the company books just one month after reporting alleged misconduct at Keenan's outside business operations. Rudy Sarzo Goes Independent: The legendary timekeeper details his new studio tracking approach, bypassing record labels to honor his early Miami roots with clean, bass-forward arrangements. The Show Must Go On: How MGK sustained a brutal spinal injury during a theatrical crowd-dive mishap in Connecticut and why he refused to cancel his active "Lost Americana" tour dates. Naturally, the conversation turned to great stories from the original Deep Purple days and beyond. Of course, the couple also performs together in their band, Blackmore's Night.Enjoy Volume III!

Tawny went to her first rock concert at age 14, saw how the singer's girlfriend got full VIP access and treatment and decided, “hey, I want that.” Tawny went out and made that happen. A rocker gal by nature, Tawny dated the guitarist from Ratt while in high school. From there she graduated, and “graduated”, by marrying Whitesnake's lead singer. Although they divorced years later, she is most notorious for being “that girl” in the Whitesnake video. With that career defining moment she went from “groupie” to wife and celebrity. Choreographer Paula Abdul took one look at Tawny's moves on the set of the Whitesnake video shoot and said, “you don't need my help” and left! Tawny graced our small screens with roles on many of our beloved shows including Seinfeld (who she also dated), Married...With Children and America's Funniest People. Before it was the “cool” thing to do, Tawny transitioned from “actress” to reality star starring in VH1s “The Surreal Life” and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”. Speaking of Reality TV, who could forget Tawny's 2017 appearance on E's mega-hit Botched with Doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif. There was also that star studded role with Tom Hanks in Bachelor Party. We finally delve into the iconic rock anthem "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake, a song that has a far more interesting background than neither of us could have imagined. Despite Robert Plant's insistence that David Coverdale should be called David “Cover singer,” this huge hit is major part of rock n' roll and music video history – and yes, we will be talking about Tawny Kitaen, too. Like Bill's calculus class, this episode features a lot of tangents and as Holden Caulfield says, the digressions can be the most interesting parts. This recording was a lot of fun for us. This week, the lads hop across the pond to continue excavating denim and leather. It's all about the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal! The NWOBM movement was filled with passionate bands that were poised to take over the world. Unfortunately, most of them didn't make it to the level of Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, or Saxon. Hopefully, we can help spread the word and sounds for those who didn't. What's this InObscuria thing? We're a podcast that exhumes obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal and puts them in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. This week we discuss the LOST. For such a small island, they sure had a lot of amazing bands that set the standards for what is known as heavy metal. From the music, to the fashion, to the attitude… Over 45-years ago, these bands started an underground movement that would change hard rock and metal forever. Songs this week include: More – “Warhead” from Warhead (1981) DEMON – “Night Of The Demon” from Night Of The Demon (1981) Grim Reaper – “Run For Your Life” from See You In Hell (1983)  Bronz – “Heat Of The Night” from Taken By Storm (1983) Witchfynde – “Give ‘Em Hell” from Give ‘Em Hell(1980) Marseille – “Rock You Tonight” from Marseille (1979) Aragorn – “Black Ice” from The Neat Singles Collection Vol. 1 (1981) Buy cool stuff with our logo on it!:InObscuria Store Visit us: https://inobscuria.com/ https://www.facebook.com/InObscuria https://x.com/inobscuria https://www.instagram.com/inobscuria/ Check out Robert's amazing fire sculptures and metal workings here: http://flamewerx.com/ If you'd like to check out Kevin's band THE SWEAR, take a listen on all streaming services or pick up a digital copy of their latest release here: https://theswear.bandcamp.com/ If you want to hear Robert and Kevin's band from the late 90s – early 00s BIG JACK PNEUMATIC, check it out here: https://bigjackpnuematic.bandcamp.com/

RUNDOWN   We're in a foul mood after the Seahawks' ugly loss to the Rams, unpacking Sam Darnold's four-interception stinker, the looming backlash from "I told you so" Darnold haters, and the gut-punch of Gray Zabel's injury. Mitch unleashes a full-on rant about Greg Olsen's broadcast style ("constant blabber"), while Scott notes how different the offense looks without Tory Horton on the field. The mood finally lifts with the news that the Mariners have locked up Josh Naylor on a five-year extension, giving Seattle fans a much-needed jolt of optimism. And then some baseball outrage: Cal Raleigh narrowly finishes second in AL MVP to Aaron Judge. Mitch is joined by Brady Henderson (ESPN) and Jacson Bevens (Cigar Thoughts) to break down the Seahawks' 21–19 loss to the Rams — a game that somehow stayed close despite four interceptions from Sam Darnold and a red-zone drought. Brady calls it Darnold's first true "stinker" as a Seahawk, noting that none of the INTs were flukes, while Jacson credits a defense that "played its balls off" despite brutal field position. The trio discuss the seriousness of rookie guard Gray Zabel's knee injury, the need for Kubiak to scheme around an unstable interior line, and Darnold's growing turnover trend (now 14 on the year). Mitch welcomes back CBS College Football Analyst Rick Neuheisel, presented by Taco Time Northwest, to unpack a chaotic Week 12 in college football — starting with Rick's victory lap on his perfectly predicted Penn State cover. From there, the guys dive into a jam-packed headline wheel: Lane Kiffin's status as the hottest name on the coaching carousel (and why Rick believes he'll land at Florida), Georgia's dominance over Texas, Oklahoma's big win in Tuscaloosa, Texas A&M's shocking 30–3 comeback, and the SEC's suddenly muddled playoff picture. Mitch revisits Episode Zero — the never-meant-to-be-public "exhibition game" that quietly launched Mitch Unfiltered back in 2018. What begins as a joke about their faux–"Fool in the Rain" theme song turns into a hilarious, chaotic retelling of the infamous team-bus-fire in Auburn, complete with blown tires, smoke pouring into the cabin, players stampeding into a ditch, and the bus erupting in flames seconds after everyone escaped.   GUESTS   Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Jacson Bevens | Writer, Cigar Thoughts Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion Jason Hamilton | Former/Original Co-host of Mitch Unfiltered, UW Basketball Analyst   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Four Picks, One Big Contract, and a Gordon Lightfoot Birthday — Episode 358 Runs the Emotional Gauntlet 15:05 | BEAT THE BOYS - Register at MitchUnfiltered.com 20:29 | Bad Clock, Bad Knees, and Bad Ballots: Seahawks Fall Short While Cal Raleigh Gets Robbed in the AL MVP Race 37:09 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table; Four Picks, One Chance: Seahawks Fall to Rams but Defense Shines Bright 55:28 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; Lane Kiffin Heat Check, SEC Bedlam & 300-Yard Burrito Winners — Neuheisel Goes Deep 1:20:56 | GUEST: Jason Hamilton EPISODE ZERO | Flashback | Before Episode 1: The Bus Fire, the Scentsy Pooh Era, and the Birth of Mitch Unfiltered 1:41:17 | Other Stuff Segment: Julio Rodríguez finishes 6th in AL MVP voting and makes first-team All-MLB, Julio's slow first half vs red-hot second half and fans overreacting, Julio's contract MVP/top-10 voting escalators, Shohei Ohtani's unanimous NL MVP and historic MVP + championship combo, Clippers fan jukes arena security during game and heckle about Clippers' defense, No. 1 national hoops recruit Tyran Stokes transferring to Rainier Beach High School, BYU's Kennard Davis Jr arrested on suspicion of DUI near campus, Patrick Beverley arrested on family-assault charge in Texas, Percy Harvin's Gainesville home catching fire (no serious injuries reported), United Airlines flight attendant found 10x over in-flight alcohol limit on SFO–London route, Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale announcing retirement, Bin Laden raid SEAL Robert O'Neill suing two podcasters for $25 million over "lied about the shot" claims RIPs: Kenny Easley – Seahawks Hall of Fame safety, "The Enforcer."
