It is a privilege to welcome six-time Emmy-nominated filmmaker Alan G. Parker to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.  Before becoming a filmmaker, Alan worked as a press officer via Judy Totton Publicity and later in EMI's catalogue department in London. At EMI, he worked with bands such as Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and the Stranglers. He also wrote for magazines and published books about the Clash and Sid Vicious. In 2009, Alan directed Who Killed Nancy? And Monty Python: Almost the Truth – The Lawyers' Cut was nominated for six Emmy Awards. In 2017, he directed the documentary It was Fifty Years Ago Today! Laurie Kaye is the last-ever reporter to interview John Lennon before his assassination. In fact, she was with John and Yoko just hours before his death. John Kosh, known simply as Kosh, is an English art director, album cover designer, graphic artist, and documentary producer/director. He was born in London, England and rose to prominence in the mid-1960s while designing for the Royal Ballet and the Royal Opera House. He was the creative director of Apple Corps for The Beatles and was art director and album cover designer for Abbey Road and Let It Be, as well as Hotel California, James Taylor's Greatest Hits, and more.    Today, Kosh sits down with Jack Lawless to discuss his work, reminisce on his memories of working with The Beatles and John and Yoko, tell stories about designing Abbey Road's and Hotel California's covers, the WAR IS OVER! campaign, and much more.
