What We're Drinking: Jessica: Rúakh Wines out of Paso Robles, specifically the "Somos Cafe de Olla" red blend (56% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petite Verdot). Owned by Sam Esquivel, a San Diego native whose interview episode drops the first Wednesday of May. Jessica Yañez and her partner in crime Erika Sanchez are back with a full glass of wine and a whole month's worth of chisme to spill. From heartbreaking headlines hitting close to home, to Hollywood takeovers, to what happened at the Oscars, to the state of your wallet right now, the March Chisme episode covers the news, the nostalgia, and the nunca-ending commentary that lives rent-free in our heads. Erika came prepared. Jessica came with feelings. Together, they gave you everything. This one hit differently. Jessica and Erika unpack the New York Times five-year investigation revealing sexual abuse allegations against Cesar Chavez, including a statement from civil rights icon Dolores Huerta, who says she was assaulted by him and that he fathered two of her children. The conversation goes deeper into the systemic silence women are expected to maintain "for the greater good," the question of how to separate a man from a movement, and why being down for a cause should never mean putting all your faith in one person. Jessica and Erika watched it so you'd know what to expect, and they had very strong reactions. This Louis Theroux documentary on Netflix explores online influencers redefining masculinity and their influence on young men. Erika wanted to turn it off. Jessica wanted to send the link to every young man she loves. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for Sinners and the crowd's reaction said everything. Jessica and Erika talk about what makes him so different from the rest, including the detail work he put into playing three distinct characters, and the fact that after the ceremony he went to In-N-Out. Alone. Without an entourage. Taking pictures with fans. If you've been confused about who owns what in Hollywood right now, Jessica breaks it all the way down. From Viacom to Paramount to CBS, from Discovery tanking HBO Max to the Ellison family (Oracle money, Trump ties) acquiring Paramount through Skydance, and now going after Warner Brothers and CNN, the consolidation of media power is moving fast. The implications for diverse voices, independent journalism, and your streaming bill are real. They also talk about the Murdoch family documentary, why Succession was more literal than anyone realized, and how the media we consume is being shaped by a handful of very wealthy, very politically connected people. Week three of the conflict. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked, cargo ships can't move gas, and Jessica paid $65.50 to fill her tank at Costco. Erika called her mom crying. They talk about how presidents don't typically drive gas prices, but intentionally starting a war and bombing oil fields is a different story. And if you think groceries are expensive now, they say: just wait. Transportation costs go up, everything goes up. The math is not mathing. A viral video of a voter admitting she's voted for Trump three times and calling herself an idiot sparked a whole conversation about what it means to not care until something affects you personally. Jessica has Trump-supporting cousins she loves, and she is absolutely worried about what happens if they get pulled over by ICE. She is not holding back on this one. Jessica has been watching it. Erika has not (yet). They talk about the Kennedy mystique, why the Camelot era still holds such power, what it must have felt like for Carolyn Bessette to go from private person to one of the most famous women in the world overnight, and how the 90s paparazzi era made that kind of life nearly impossible. Also: Ryan Murphy said something messy to Jack Schlossberg (JFK's nephew, now running for a House seat in New York), and the girls are not impressed. The good news we needed. Gap's recent ad revival started as a quiet response to the Sidney Sweeney moment and has grown into something genuinely culturally relevant. The Young Miko campaign. The 90s nostalgia. The khaki swing ad. The Madonna x Missy Elliott "All About the Jeans" era. Jessica and Erika reminisced, agreed that Gap is doing something right, and acknowledged they are no longer the target demographic, but they felt it anyway. A month of a lot. Heavy and real and also sometimes really, really funny. That's the March Chisme energy. Thank you for being here for all of it.

Highlights included opening with "Tití Me Preguntó," rooftop "Yo Perreo Sola" with A-list Latino stars, "Monaco" with violins, "El Apagón" addressing infrastructure issues, "Café Con Ron" for hemispheric unity, and closing "DTMF" amid fireworks and a field dance party.Stage design transformed the field into sugar-cane fields, a Puerto Rican vecindad with barber shop, liquor store, and casita replica—featuring tributes like palm trees, piragua carts, an empty chair for 3,000+ Hurricane Maria victims, power line structures, and jersey No. 64 honoring his mother's birth year. Memorable moments: a real wedding on stage, Grammy gifting to child actor Lincoln Fox symbolizing self-belief, direct camera message "Never stop believing in yourself," and final football/flags promoting "Together, we are America."Celebrity guests: Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Karol G, Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Young Miko, Alix Earle, Ronald Acuña Jr., Dave Grutman. In contrast, Turning Point USA's "All-American" counter-show featuring Kid Rock peaked at ~6.1 million concurrent YouTube viewers (rising to 19.5 million by Monday), streamed exclusively due to licensing restrictions preventing X airing.Political reactions included President Trump's criticism calling it "absolutely terrible" for its Spanish lyrics and dancing. Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has had a monumental week, continuing to make waves both in Puerto Rico and around the globe. Just days ago, he concluded his record-breaking first-ever concert residency in Puerto Rico, titled No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí, which ran from July 11 to September 20 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan. Over 31 nights, he transformed “El Choliseo” into a temple of nostalgia and cultural celebration, with every show highlighting music from his highly-praised sixth album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.Fans saw surprise guest appearances from legendary and rising stars alike, including Gilberto Santa Rosa, Young Miko, Tainy, Farruko, Arcángel, Yandel, Sech, Residente, and Mora. Each night's setlist evolved, weaving in traditional Puerto Rican genres like plena, bomba, and salsa, all fused with his signature modern reggaeton and trap sound. Notably, the final bonus show, “Una Más,” on September 20 was livestreamed worldwide on Amazon Prime Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, making history by tying the concert to the eighth anniversary of Hurricane Maria, adding emotional weight and a message of resilience to already electrified performances. His new album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which dropped in January right before Three Kings Day, continues to dominate conversations months later. The record's 17 tracks, including viral sensations like DtMF and TURiSTA, have become generational anthems about nostalgia, the shifting identity of Puerto Rico, and cherishing fleeting moments. The accompanying short film for the album, featuring poignant storytelling by acclaimed Puerto Rican filmmaker Jacobo Morales, deepened listeners' emotional connections. The album cover itself, with its iconic empty monobloc chairs, has sparked interpretation and discussion about lost memories and evolving culture across social media.Tracks like DtMF, now boasting over a billion Spotify streams, fuel a viral TikTok trend in which users share reflective slideshows of loved ones and old haunts with the chorus “I should have taken more photos while I had you” as the soundtrack. According to Nique.net, Debí Tirar Más Fotos is also being studied at Emory and Yale University for its impact on Puerto Rican society and economy, due in part to Bad Bunny's drawing an estimated $200 million in economic activity to the island through his long series of residency and festival shows. This week also saw continued buzz from his surprise holiday single, Pitorro de Coco, a melancholic heartbreak anthem named after the iconic Puerto Rican rum, which was released alongside the album announcement. Bad Bunny's influence outside of music was also on full display as snippets from his cameo in the trailer for the upcoming Adam Sandler film Happy Gilmore 2 circulated widely. Further cementing his status as a global superstar, Billboard and Pollstar reports show his “Most Wanted Tour” is the seventh highest-grossing tour of 2024, pulling in over $210 million.Listeners can expect even more as Bad Bunny has already teased new music to come, with fans speculating about collaborations and directions for his evolving sound. As the year enters its final stretch, the impact, artistry, and cultural significance of Bad Bunny show no sign of slowing.Thank you for tuning in and be sure to come back next week for more. Peso Pluma BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Peso Pluma has been making headlines this week as he steps into a groundbreaking role at New York Fashion Week, becoming the first Mexican ambassador named by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center. The Guadalajara native joined supermodel Anok Yai and Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko as one of three ambassadors for the prestigious fashion event running from September 11th through 16th.The appointment represents a significant milestone for Mexican representation in high fashion, with the CFDA recognizing Peso Pluma's influence that extends far beyond music charts into cultural taste-making. His presence at the official kickoff cocktail at Bar SixtyFive at the Rainbow Room Wednesday evening alongside fashion heavyweights Anna Wintour, Thom Browne, Michael Kors, and Anna Sui signals his crossover appeal from regional Mexican music star to global style icon.Getty Images captured Peso Pluma attending the Off-White fashion show on September 12th with fellow artist Kenia Os at the New Design High School, cementing his active participation throughout Fashion Week rather than just ceremonial appearances. This follows his earlier front-row appearance at Thom Browne, showing his growing integration into fashion's inner circle.Meanwhile, Billboard announced major recognition for Peso Pluma at the upcoming Latin Music Awards on October 23rd. With nine nominations, he's competing for Artist of the Year and Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year Male categories, while his album Exodo earned multiple nods. Bad Bunny, or Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is dominating headlines and social media this week as he wraps up his epic two-month residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí, at Puerto Rico's Coliseo de Puerto Rico. This 30-concert extravaganza transformed San Juan into a nonstop celebration, drawing fans worldwide and sparking a festival atmosphere across the city—bars overflowed, murals sprang up overnight, and legendary surprise guests hit the stage. Reports from Radio Milwaukee paint a scene of San Juan “alive,” with airport lines snaking out the door for merch, pop-ups celebrating Benito, and entire neighborhoods blasting his biggest hits. Inside the arena, each performance was a spectacle of lights, pyrotechnics, Puerto Rican iconography, and star-studded cameos—Arcángel, Ivy Queen, Young Miko, and Feid all took turns electrifying the crowd. The residency was more than a concert series; it was a declaration of Puerto Rican pride and a global showcase of Latin music's power. Bad Bunny himself, sharing with i-D Magazine, described the energy as “unprecedented,” uniting generations with music rooted in salsa, bomba y plena, and classic reggaetón influences interspersed throughout his flashy pop catalog.Just this Monday, Bad Bunny surprised fans with the release of his new single “Alambre Púa.” According to AOL, he debuted the track live for the residency's closing weekend, using it as the adrenaline-charged opener that set the tone for a 30-song marathon. This marks his first new music since January's album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which itself remains a Billboard and streaming juggernaut well into the year. Variety notes that the album's popularity is powering everything from record sales to unique brand tie-ins, like a special Peloton workout series celebrating Bad Bunny's music and artistic journey. The residency, however, is only the beginning of Bad Bunny's next chapter. ABC News and The Fader detail that his highly anticipated world tour for 2025-2026, supporting Debí Tirar Más Fotos, will not feature any U.S. dates. Bad Bunny cited not just a sense that he had “already done the U.S. extensively,” but, more seriously, concerns about safety and the threat of ICE raids for himself and his fans—a move the artist discussed candidly with both Variety and i-D.Recognition for Bad Bunny's achievements continues to skyrocket: the Latin Times confirms that he just broke the all-time record for nominations at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, earning an incredible 27 nominations. He leads across categories—Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Top Latin Album for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and a slew of individual single nominations, underscoring his dominance in both streaming and on the charts. The awards ceremony will air live on October 23, 2025, from Miami, so expect even more historic moments as the date approaches.Meanwhile, Bad Bunny's cultural reach goes further than music. As reported by Variety, he's starring alongside Adam Sandler in the much-hyped movie Happy Gilmore 2, released in July, continuing his rapid rise as a multifaceted global entertainer. Thanks for tuning in—come back next week for another update on Bad Bunny and all things music. According to multiple outlets including Hombre1, Hola, and QueOnda, Peso Pluma has just been named the first-ever Mexican-American ambassador for New York Fashion Week by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. This isn't a ceremonial title; it positions him centre stage as NYFW launches its Spring/Summer 2026 season at Rockefeller Center, joining a select cadre including club CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, mega-designers Michael Kors and Anna Sui, and co-ambassadors Young Miko and Anok Yai. Peso Pluma's ambassador status comes on top of a breakout year: Hola reminds us that he's up for nine awards at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year Male, and several nominations for his album Exodo. His recent single releases, including Morena (Remix) with Tiësto and Netón Vega and Desvelada with Oscar Maydon, are pulling big streaming numbers and drawing attention for their genre-blending sound—a fusion of classic Mexican corridos, EDM, and urban pop.In fashion, Peso Pluma's style clout has been on full display. Earlier this year, he debuted at Thom Browne's Fall/Winter show in signature threads, confirming his crossover appeal as both sartorial tastemaker and pop star. Public discussion on platforms like Instagram, X, and TikTok continues to amplify his public image, with fans and fashionistas alike sharing clips of his NYFW appearances and new festival bookings. On the business front, Billboard and Telemundo confirm his role as label boss at Double P Records in partnership with George Prajin, signaling a shift toward mentorship and industry leadership. Meanwhile, previous performance visas—and those of other Latin stars—were reportedly at risk due to tightened U.S. immigration rules, as reported by KNPR, but no verified accounts indicate any recent interruption in Peso Pluma's U.S. activity. In sum, Peso Pluma's latest milestones at New York Fashion Week and his nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards underline a transformative moment—not just for his résumé, but for the profile of música Mexicana and Latin culture worldwide. If there's speculation, it's simply about who he'll collaborate with next or which runway he'll conquer. For now, his star is burning brighter than ever, with every headline, streaming chart, and fashion week snapshot doubling as evidence.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Wow, has it really been a month since the last episode? Well Stephanie and Travis are back this week and you might wanna buckle up. Stephanie vents about a lazy performance by Busta Rhymes, compares Missy Elliot to Beyonce and discusses Eli's first concert performance experience with Young Miko. Travis is very proud of an intimate moment they shared, let's just say it was kinda queer. This was a moment Travis' humor was appreciated, but that's not always the case. Oh So Y'all Can Relate is BACK with a TRIPLE HITTER. Yes 3 back to back submissions. First, a woman questions if her long-term relationship is holding her back, despite her boyfriend ‘trying' to improve. Another listener is worn out from constantly seeking emotional support from a partner who doesn't seem to notice her needs. Lastly, an engaged woman feels the pressure of societal expectations and wonders how to balance giving and receiving in her relationship. Of course Travis and Stephanie do their best to advise and encourage them, they might not always agree, but in the end give unified consult.
Auspiciado por Vital Full of Life.
