Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
It is incumbent upon observant Jews to always appear well-kempt and dignified. Nowadays, this applies to all observant Jews. As representatives of the Torah, we all bear the obligation to look respectable in order to reflect positively on the Torah. An observant Jew must not walk about with stained clothing, scuffed shoes, or a foul odor. People who encounter a religious Jew who appears this way lose respect for the Torah, and reach the conclusion that the Torah does not encourage self-dignity. In fact, the Sages teach (Shabbat 114a) that if a Torah scholar has "Rabab" – dirt – on his garment, then he is deserving of death, because he misrepresents the Torah. I had the privilege of knowing Rav Chaim Kreiswirth (1918-2001), the Chief Rabbi of Antwerp who frequently visited Israel. He was a towering spiritual giant, who mastered the entire Talmud. I saw him once take out a pocket mirror and comb before getting out of a car, to groom himself. He explained that the windows were open during the trip, and his hair and beard became disheveled. He therefore made sure to groom himself so he looked presentable before getting out of the car. Another example that I personally witnessed was the time when I went with a group of students to the home of Rav Chaim Brim (1922-2002) in Jerusalem, for a Torah class, after which we wanted to take a group picture with him. He did not allow the picture to be taken until he first straightened up the room and made sure he looked presentable. He wanted to ensure that people who looked at this picture would not see him unkempt or his home untidy. Hacham Ovadia Yosef, in Yehaveh Da'at, addressed the question of whether or not it is acceptable for a man to use a mirror. The Gemara teaches that a man should not use a mirror, as this is something that women do, and is considered vanity for men. Nevertheless, Hacham Ovadia ruled that nowadays it is specifically a Misva for men to use a mirror to ensure that they look presentable and thereby make a Kiddush Hashem (glorification of G-d's Name). Rav Yissachar Frand (contemporary) shared that when he traveled with his Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yaakov Ruderman (1900-1987), to fundraise, and they would pass through the train station, Rav Ruderman would have his shoes shined in order that he would look presentable when meeting with the donors. Just as an observant Jew must dress in a dignified manner, he must conduct himself in a dignified manner. This includes eating neatly and patiently. Needless to say, this applies to both men and women. Women must dress not only modestly, but also respectably so they appear dignified. Earlier, we noted the Gemara's teaching that a Torah scholar with a "Rabab" – stain – on his clothing is deserving of death. An alternate reading of this teaching has been suggested, based on the Gematria of the word "Rebab" (204), which is the same Gematria as the word "Sadik." The Gemara thus perhaps refers to a scholar who "wears" piety on his clothing, who shows himself to be more righteous than he really is. Just as it is wrong to appear unkempt and undignified, so it is wrong to appear greater and holier than one actually is. One who projects a false impression of piety is also deserving of death, as he deceives people in an effort to earn their respect and admiration. Finally, a Torah scholar should wear neither very expensive clothing, nor very cheap clothing. He must appear respectable, but should not appear as though he wastes large amounts of money on costly attire.

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
As part of the Korbanot section of the morning prayer service, we read the Mishnayot of the fifth chapter of Masechet Zebahim – the chapter of Ezehu Mekoman. This chapter goes through all the various sacrifices that were offered in the Bet Ha'mikdash, and concisely tells us the procedure required for each sacrifice. One reason we read this chapter is so that through our reading, we will be considered as though we actually brought the sacrifices and receive atonement. But additionally, we read this chapter as a fixed daily regimen of Torah learning. By incorporating this reading into our daily prayer, we ensure to learn Mishnayot each day. However, if this is the reason for reciting these Mishnayot, then we must understand what we read. Reading Mishna, or Gemara, without understanding the meaning of the text has no value. When it comes to prayer, although we are of course encouraged and urged to try to pray with Kavana (concentration), our Rabbis taught that there is value to our prayers even without understanding the words. If a person prays with sincere feelings and emotions, then his prayers are accepted regardless of he actually understands the words. But this does not apply to Torah learning. If a person reads a Torah text without understanding what he read, he is not credited with the Misva of Torah study. (The exception is the reading of the Zohar, which has value even if one does not understand what he reads.) Therefore, in order for our daily reading of Ezehu Mekoman to have value and to be considered as Torah study, we must learn the text so we understand what we are saying. This point is made by Hacham Ovadia Yosef. Some add that we recite specifically this chapter each morning because of its unique characteristic – all the information is presented unanimously, without any disagreements. Throughout the Mishnayot we find Mahlokot – disagreements among the Tanna'im regarding the Halachot under discussion. In the chapter of Ezehu Mekoman, however, there are no disagreements. Every Halacha is unanimous, and not subject to debate. This makes this chapter special and worthy of our daily study. Furthermore, I heard many years ago from Rav Meir Mazuz (1945-2025) that this chapter consists of 345 words – the Gematria of the name "Moshe." This alludes to the fact that all the information presented in this chapter regarding the offering of the sacrifice was taught to Moshe at Mount Sinai.
Send us comments, suggestions and ideas here! In this week's episode we grab our “They Live” glasses and descend down into Kane Parson's summer blockbuster horror hit: “The Backrooms” to explore its clever symbolic use of Jungian archetypes and Eastern mysticism to create a cerebral and spooky allegory with the same narrative depth we find in masterpieces like Kubrick's The Shining, Lynch's Twin Peaks or Owaku's Silent Hill 2 but with a retrowave drip that weaponizes nostalgia in a tour of the collective unconscious with obscure doorways straight into Buddhist hell. In the free side of the show we discuss Clark and the symbolism that haunts him, the Backrooms and his shadow; breaking down what it has to do with the infinite, changing and cyclical nature of the Backrooms itself. In the extended side of the show we discuss the Capn Carl, Tarot symbolism, the shadow of the retrowave aesthetic and how the Backrooms are a perfect allegory for the Bardos of the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Wednesday evening Bible study at East Frankfort Baptist Church on May 27, 2026.
Parashat Naso is famous for being the longest Parasha in the entire Torah, as it consists of 176 verses. Not coincidentally, this is also the number of verses in the longest chapter of Tehillim (119), and the number of pages in the longest Masechet in the Talmud, Masechet Baba Batra. The unique significance of this number is revealed to us by the Maharal of Prague (Rav Yehuda Loew, d. 1609). He begins by establishing what has become a well-known principle regarding the number 8 – namely, that it signifies the notion of extending beyond the confines of nature. The world was created in seven days – and, in the teachings of Kabbalah, through the process of the seven Sefirot, spiritual energies – and so the number 7 represents the natural order. The number 8, then, alludes to that which is beyond the limits of nature. Thus, for example, the Berit Mila is performed on a child's eighth day, indicating that we are expected to restrain our natural impulses, to live on a higher plane, where our sacred soul controls our natural body. Likewise, the Maharal explains, the seven lamps of the Menorah in the Bet Ha'mikdash symbolize the natural world – and behind the curtain in the Mikdash there was the eighth "light," the Torah. The sacred Aron (ark) contained the Torah, and it was thus called "Aron," a derivative of the word "Or" – "light." The Torah shines its own form of light – not a natural light that enables us to see with our eyes, but a spiritual light that reaches our souls, and uplifts and inspires us. The Torah is written with the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, the Maharal writes, and when we multiply 22 by 8, we arrive at 176. This number, then, is associated with Torah's supernatural quality, its having originated outside our world, reminding us that it is through the study of Torah that we can extend beyond the confines of our world and connect ourselves to Hashem and to all the powers that lie outside our world. For this reason, the longest Parasha, the longest chapter of Tehillim, and the long section of the Gemara are all connected with this number, as they embody the great power of Torah. This unique power, which is associated with the number 176, also enables us to overcome our foes. Kabbalah teaches that the greatest spiritual force that threatens Beneh Yisrael is represented by one of the grandsons of Esav, a man named Sefo (Tzadi, Peh, Vav), whose name is listed among the twelve chieftains of Edom, the nation that descended from Esav (Bereshit 36:15). The Ramban cites the historian Josephus as relating that Sefo was a fierce enemy of Yaakob Abinu and his family, and when Yaakob's sons brought his remains from Egypt to Hebron for burial in Me'arat Ha'machpela, Sefo and his men waged war against them. However, Yaakob's sons prevailed, captured Sefo, and brought him as a prisoner to Egypt. Sefo would later escape and make his way to what would become Rome, and he is thus the founder of the kingdom of Rome, the bitter enemy of the Jewish People. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, Sefo represents the spiritual force of our wicked enemies who wage war against us and seek our demise. The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) taught that the way we defeat the power of Sefo is through the power of Torah. Indeed, the name "Sefo" in Gematria equals 176 – and we thus overcome his force through the power of Torah, which is represented by that same number. This is why Sefo waged war at that time of Yaakob Abinu's funeral – because he knew that the greatest power Beneh Yisrael possess is the power of Torah, which was embodied by Yaakob. Sefo sought to fight Beneh Yisrael at that time to neutralize this power so he could defeat them – but the power of Yaakob, the power of Torah, prevailed. The Shabbat when we read Parashat Naso – especially coming on the heels of Shabuot, when we renewed our acceptance of the Torah – is an appropriate occasion to remind ourselves of the unique power of Torah learning. As we see the alarming rise of antisemitism around the world, and as the Jewish State finds itself in the midst of a difficult war against its fierce, evil enemies, let us recommit ourselves to Torah learning. Let us all ensure that we are devoting the time and effort that we should to learn, so that we can harness the great power of Torah with which to overcome our nation's bitter foes.

משיחת כ"ג מנחם-אב ה'תשד"מ, לחברי כולל "תפארת זקנים" ו"חכמות נשים" ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=26-05-2026 Synopsis Today's Rambam is in the Laws of Nezirus, which is a form of vow (neder – which has the same Gematria as Levi Yitzchok, the name of the Rebbe's father). A neder demonstrates a Jew's power to take something ordinary and mundane and sanctify even through his speech alone. Similarly regarding nezirus: When a Jew undertakes a certain commitment in honor of Hashem, even if it something easy and simple (for example refraining from cutting his hair for thirty days like a Nazir), he becomes holier and brings particular satisfaction and pleasure to Hashem. It follows that this also benefits the person himself, because to cause Hashem pleasure is the greatest merit, and because Hasheem rewards him for it.Excerpt from sichah of 23 Menachem-Av 5744, to members Kollel Tiferes Zekeinim and Beis Chochmas Nashim For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=26-05-2026 לזכותהחתן הרה"ת שמחה בנימין הלוי והכלה מרת חיה מושקא שיחיו פישלרגל נישואיהם בשעה טובה ומוצלחתביום ד' סיון ה'תשפ"ו

This episode features a content creator conducting a live test of a new broadcasting setup while engaging with an online audience through chat and open phone lines. The speaker critiques mainstream and alternative media, suggesting that significant global events are often staged psychological operations designed to manipulate the masses. Central themes include the potential sentience of AI, skepticism regarding alien invasions, and the belief that predictive programming in films prepares society for future crises. The dialogue explores various conspiracy theories, ranging from the fall of the International Space Station to political theater surrounding figures like Donald Trump. Ultimately, the host advocates for a deprogrammed perspective to navigate a world he describes as a manufactured hyper-reality where real and fake are indistinguishable.Quotes from the Host"We're supposed to have open phones for human intel to get as many perspectives as possible to solve this very large puzzle. It's too big for one person to see, practically.""I would call this the beginning stages of an endarkenment, quite the opposite of what the New Age teaches.""NASA, in my view, has never really been about taking you to some distant destination, but it's always been specifically there to control your inner space."Broadcast Logistics: Testing a new multicast setup, Starlink connection, and transition from phone-based streaming to a more permanent studio environment.Media Censorship: YouTube labeling authentic creators as "artificial intelligence" to demonetize them and eliminate competition in advance of future "psyops".AI and Religion: Richard Dawkins' belief in the sentience of the Claude AI (referred to as "Claudette") and the merging of traditional religion with "scientific" science fiction.Space Agendas: Project Artemis, "space environmentalism," the hype surrounding "space junk," and the potential staged fall of the International Space Station.August 2026 Hoaxes: Viral rumors regarding Earth losing gravity for seven seconds, which the host links to "Project Anchor" and the "Plasma Apocalypse" theory.Predictive Programming: The use of films like Project Hail Mary, Terminator 2, and Final Destination: Bloodline to seed visuals and concepts for future manufactured events.Mind War and "The Endarkenment": The deliberate creation of "cognitive chaos" and "hyper-reality" to disconnect the public from objective reality.Assassination Scripts: Analyzing the "Wizard of Oz" symbolism surrounding Donald Trump and the overlap between NASA and the JFK assassination. The "Alt" Media Trap: The host's argument that both mainstream and alternative media are controlled, and his "quarantine" policy against certain conspiracy theories like the Mandela Effect or Gematria to maintain standards."Is that August thing? with the seven seconds of anti-gravity... the earth's gonna lose its gravity for seven seconds and this reminded me of that movie begonia.""sometimes I'm an accelerationist. Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
G-d created the human body in such a way that it requires rest, and cannot function properly without a significant period of sleep each night. In His infinite wisdom, G-d determined that it is preferable for human beings not to have the ability to continuously work and tend to their affairs without ever resting. One explanation for this decision is that Hashem mercifully granted us the opportunity to "reset" after a difficult, challenging or upsetting day. When a person feels disappointed or pained, a good night's sleep allows him to begin fresh the next morning, to experience a new start, so that the failures or misfortunes of the previous day no longer discourage him and he can approach the new day with vigor and positivity. Another explanation is that the person's Neshama (soul) receives an "upgrade" every night when he sleeps. During sleep, Hashem cleanses the soul and returns it in the morning in better condition than it had been when the person went to sleep. We might say that we have our souls "serviced" every night, and this is the great benefit of sleep. The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) writes that it is a mistake to think that sleeping is always beneficial for the body. Sleeping excessively, more than the body needs, is actually detrimental to one's health. This has been confirmed by modern medicine. Therefore, one should sleep only as much as he needs and no more. Of course, one must also ensure not to sleep less than the body needs in order maintain its strength. But after one sleeps a reasonable amount, he should use the rest of his time for Torah study. The Ben Ish Hai also writes that there are certain times when it is recommended to stay up late learning Torah – such as on Thursday nights, the night before Rosh Hodesh, during Elul and the Aseret Yemeh Teshuba, and during the weeks of Shobabim in the winter. Some people sleep only four-and-a-half or five hours a night on these occasions, and the Ben Ish Hai writes that the extra time devoted to the soul compensates for the lost time of sleep. The Rambam taught that one should sleep eight hours a night in order to maintain his physical wellbeing. He should then spend eight hours working for a living, and the other eight hours learning Torah. Some found an allusion to this concept in the verse in Iyob (3:13), "Yashanti Az Yanu'ah Li" ("I have slept, and then I experience rest"). The word "Az" in Gematria equals 8, and thus "Yashanti Az" subtly refers to the eight hours that one should sleep each night. Another allusion is the passage in our Shabbat prayers, "Az Tasliah Et Derachecha" ("Then shall you succeed in your paths"), indicating that sleeping "Az" – eight hours – brings success. There were great Sages who slept less than eight hours. The Vilna Gaon (1720-1797), for example, is said to have slept only two hours a night. And Rav Zalman of Volozhin (1752-1799)– one of the Vilna Gaon's most illustrious disciples – slept just fours a night. It is told that Rav Zalman was once asked about the verse, "Yashanti Az Yanu'ah Li," which alludes to eight hours of sleep, and he replied that the world "Li" at the end of the verse in Gematria equals 40. This verse thus instructs that one should sleep eight hours out of every forty-eight hours, or four hours a night… The Tiferet Yisrael (Rav Yisrael Lifshitz, Germany, 1782-1860) distinguished between different ages, stating that until the age of 50, when people are generally more physically active, one should sleep eight hours each night, whereas after 50, less sleep is needed. In any event, it is generally accepted that most people should sleep between six and eight hours a night. The most important thing is to use one's time constructively the rest of the day. When we look at our daily schedules, we will find that many of us sleep less than the eight hours recommended by the Rambam, and yet most of us fail to learn even close to the eight hours that he urges us to learn. It is true that much of our time is spent working, commuting, and tending to our families. Unfortunately, however, much of the other time is being consumed by vanity and wasteful pursuits, particularly screentime. It is critically important for us to refrain from wasting time, to make sure to get enough sleep and to care for our physical wellbeing, but to use the rest of the time as constructively as possible.
Was Nero Caesar the Beast of Revelation? In this first episode of a new 20-part series, Jay Rogers breaks down one of the most debated interpretations in biblical prophecy—whether the infamous number 666 points directly to the Roman Emperor Nero. From Nero's rise to power at just 17, to his descent into paranoia, violence, and persecution, this episode traces the historical case linking his reign to the “Beast” described in Revelation. You'll see:- How gematria connects “Neron Kaiser” to 666 - Why the 42-month reign of terror aligns with Revelation - The significance of emperor worship and blasphemous titles - Evidence from early Christian writers who identified Nero as the Beast This isn't speculative futurism—it's a grounded, historical reading of Revelation that reframes the book as a message to real Christians under real persecution. If you've ever wondered whether Revelation is about the future—or the past—this series is for you.Watch all of our videos and subscribe to our channel for the latest content >HereHere
Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
The Mishna in Pirkeh Abot (5:20) instructs us to be "Kal Ka'nesher" – "light as an eagle." The Tur, at the very beginning of the work, comments that although this appears to refer to zeal and alacrity in the performance of Misvot, this cannot be the correct meaning, because the Mishna then instructs us to "run like a deer" ("Ratz Ka'svi"), which clearly speaks of swift, energetic performance of Misvot. Rather, the Tur writes, "Kal Ka'nesher" means that we must ensure to guard our eyes and avoid forbidden sights. An eagle, which soars to great heights and flies at great speeds, can see vast distances at every moment, and so this creature is associated with the faculty of vision. We must be exceptionally vigilant to turn our eyes away from forbidden sights, because sinful desires begin with the eyes – the eyes see something enticing, and then the heart wants it. The lure begins with the eyes, and so the Mishna urges us to swiftly turn our eyes away from things that we should not be seeing. In fact, there is a tradition that if a person has the opportunity to look at an improper sight, and he turns his eyes away, then at that moment he can make any request from G-d, and the request is likely to be granted. Of course, this is an especially difficult challenge, and, moreover, we often cannot control what we see, because things come into view without our having wanted them to. For this reason, King David prayed, "Ha'aever Enai Me're'ot Shav" (119:37) – that G-d should turn his eyes away from improper sights. We need to beseech G-d for assistance, and ask Him to shield our eyes from things that we should not see. We read in the Book of Bereshit (17:5) that Hashem added the letter Heh to Abraham Abinu's name, which was thus changed from "Abram" to "Abraham." Hacham Baruch Ben-Haim explained that the name "Abraham" in Gematria equals 248, alluding to the 248 limbs in a person's body. Abraham was called "Abram" because he exerted control over his entire body except for five of his limbs – the two eyes, the two ears, and the nose. These are beyond a person's control, as he can encounter forbidden sights, forbidden sounds (such as Lashon Ha'ra) and forbidden smells (such as the scent of pagan sacrifices) without planning to. Once Abraham had fully mastered all that he was able to master, Hashem then added the letter Heh – stepping in to ensure that his eyes, ears and nose would likewise remain pure and be protected from anything improper. If we exert the maximum effort that we can in this regard, and we beseech G-d for help, then He will give us the assistance we need to avoid seeing forbidden sights.

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
Rav Yosef Karo, author of the Shulhan Aruch, begins his seminal work of Halacha by stating, "Yitgaber Ka'ari La'amod Ba'boker La'abodat Bor'o" – "One shall strengthen himself like a lion to arise in the morning for the service of his Creator." This exhortation is based on the Mishna in Pirkeh Abot (5:20), in which Yehuda Ben Tema urges us to be "brazen as a leopard, swift as an eagle, running like a deer, and mighty as a lion" to fulfill G-d's will. Some have raised the question of why the Shulhan Aruch brings only the analogy to a lion, and not the others. He writes that we should be strong "as a lion" when rising in the morning, without mentioning the requirement to be "brazen like a leopard" or energetic like an eagle or deer. Why? One intriguing theory appears in the work Shulhan Melachim, which notes that the phrase "Yitgaber Ka'ari" in Gematria equals 846 – the same Gematria as Rav Yosef Karo's name: "Yosef ben Efrayim Karo." (This resembles the observation made by some commentators that the Rama (Rav Moshe Isserles, Cracow, 1530-1572), who wrote glosses to the Shulhan Aruch, begins these notes by twice writing the word "Hagaha" ("note"). The word "Hagaha" in Gemaria equals 13, such that the two instances of this word equal 26 – the Gematria of the Name of Hashem ("Havaya"). The Rama was alluding to us that he was writing this work purely for the sake of Heaven.) Another explanation given is that the four animals mentioned by Yehuda Ben Tema in the Mishna correspond to the four basic elements of the natural world – fire, water, air and earth, and the lion is associated with fire. The Shulhan Aruch therefore emphasizes this particular exhortation – "Yitgaber Ka'ari" – to emphasize that we must strive to rise early in the morning in order to defeat the Yeser Ha'ra (evil inclination), which burns like a fire within each person. Waking early is a critically important aspect of the war we must wage against the Yeser Ha'ra, and so the Shulhan Aruch urges us to muster the strength of a lion – which is associated with fire – to counteract the force of the "fire" of the evil inclination. Others explain that a lion sleeps with one eye open, so it can remain alert to potential dangers even while it sleeps. The lion thus symbolizes the vigilance needed to protect ourselves against spiritual risks, that we can never fully "close our eyes" and ignore the spiritual dangers that abound all around us. I also saw a different approach – that the lion wakes up energetic and refreshed in the morning because it consistently goes to sleep when night falls and sleeps throughout the night. One of the simplest measures we can take to help ensure we can rise early in the morning is to go to sleep at a reasonable hour at night. The Shulhan Aruch instructs us to wake up in the morning like a lion to indicate that we should go to sleep like a lion – at a reasonable hour – which will enable us to wake up refreshed like a lion.
Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
The Kaddish text (specifically, "Kaddish Titkabal" and "Kaddish Yeheh Shelama") concludes with the famous prayer for peace: "Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav Hu Ya'aseh Shalom Alenu Ve'al Kol Yisrael, Ve'imru Amen" – "He who makes peace in His high places shall bestow peace upon us and upon all Israel, and say: Amen." This prayer, as we know, also concludes the silent Amida and Birkat Ha'mazon, and for good reason – because the most important thing we can pray for is peace. The previous line in Kaddish also prays for peace ("Yeheh Shelama Rabba" – "May there be an abundance of peace…"), but the prayer of "Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav" adds a particular element of our wishes for peace. We speak of Hashem bringing peace in the upper worlds ("Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav"), a reference to the peace and harmony that exists among the angels in heavens. These include an angel of water and angel of fire, which should, at first glance, be archrivals, and should be in a constant state of competition and tension. In truth, however, Hashem maintains the peace in the heavens – even among diametrically opposite forces. We thus pray that here on earth, too, we should have peace among different people, and among those with different opinions. Hashem specifically created the world such that no two people are the same. No two people think exactly alike, view things exactly alike, or have the exact same preferences, likes and dislikes. In the prayer of "Oseh Shalom," we ask Hashem to maintain the peace among people despite their differences, to help all of us live harmoniously with those who are unlike us. The Torah allows room – within certain limits, of course – for a wide range of different opinions and ideas, and we are encouraged to form opinions, but to show respect toward those who think differently than we do. It is no coincidence that just before we leave the synagogue, at the end of the final Kaddish, we recite the prayer of "Oseh Shalom," as we beseech G-d to help us as we go out and interact with many different kinds of people, to ensure that we can engage them peacefully and respectfully. It is customary during the Aseret Yemeh Teshuba (the ten-day period from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur) to slightly emend the text at the end of "Kaddish Titkabal," by reciting "Oseh Ha'shalom" instead of "Oseh Shalom." Hacham Ovadia Yosef ruled that this change is made only in "Kaddish Titkabal" recited by the Hazzan after repeating the Amida – meaning, at Shaharit, Musaf and Minha, but not at Arbit. The reason for this change is that the Gematria of the word "Ha'shalom" is 381, and thus alludes to the angel "Safri-el" whose name equals this same number, and who is assigned the task of counting our merits during the High Holidays so we receive a favorable judgment. The Hazzan should try to have this in mind when reciting "Oseh Ha'shalom" at the end of Kaddish. However, although this is a proper practice, the Hazzan does not need to repeat this line if he mistakenly recited the usual text. (In fact, the word "Oseh" also equals 381, so this allusion is made even if the Hazzan forgets to recite "Ha'shalom.") Before reciting "Oseh Shalom," one should take three steps back, by first moving the left foot back such that the toes are aligned with the heel of the right foot, then moving the right foot such that the toes are aligned with the heel of the left foot, and finally moving the left back next to the right foot. One should then bow to the left and recite "Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav," bow to the right and recite "Hu Ya'aseh Shalom Alenu," and then bow to the center and recite "Ve'al Kol Yisrael." He should then rise and say, "Ve'imru Amen." Rav Haim Palachi (Turkey, 1788-1868) asserted that the correct way to divide this sentence is to pause after the word "Shalom," and then recite "Alenu Ve'al Kol Yisrael." This is in contrast to the common practice to recite "Hu Ya'aseh Shalom Alenu," and then "Ve'al Kol Yisrael." And the way we bow – bowing to the right for "Hu Ya'aseh Shalom Alenu," and then bowing to the center for "Ve'al Kol Yisrael," as explained – seems more consistent with the conventional practice of pausing between "Alenu" and "Ve'al Kol." It seems that according to Rav Haim Palachi, when bowing to the center, one must pause after the word "Shalom," before saying "Alenu." Summary: Before reciting "Oseh Shalom," one should take three steps back, bow to the left and recite "Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav," bow to the right and recite "Hu Ya'aseh Shalom Alenu," and then bow to the center and recite "Ve'al Kol Yisrael." He should then rise and say, "Ve'imru Amen." During the period from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, the word "Shalom" in "Oseh Shalom Bi'mromav" at the end of Kaddish is changed to "Ha'shalom." This change is made only by the Hazzan when he recites "Kaddish Titkabal" at Shaharit, Musaf and Minha.
Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
In the "Kaddish Yeheh Shelama," which is recited by mourners at the end of the prayer service, we make twelve requests, asking for: "Shelama Rabba" (an abundance of peace), "Haim" (life), "Saba" (satiation), "Yeshua" (salvation), "Nehama" (consolation), "Shezaba" (protection), "Refua" (health), "Ge'ula" (redemption), "Seliha" (forgiveness), "Kapara" (atonement), "Revah" ("relief"), and "Hasala" (deliverance). These twelve requests correspond to the twelve tribes of Israel – which were founded by the twelve righteous sons of Yaakob Abinu – and we pray to Hashem to grant us these wishes in their merit. The word "Revah" (translated above as "relief") could also refer to material prosperity. The Arizal taught that the Name of G-d associated with Parnasa (livelihood) is Het-Tav-Chaf. This Name is alluded to in the verse "Pote'ah Et Yadecha U'masbia Le'chol Hai Rason" ("You open Your hand and wilfully satiate every living creature" – Tehillim 145:16), as the final letters of the words "Pote'ah et Yadecha" are Het, Tav and Chaf. These letters in Gematria equal 428 (8+400+20), which is twice the Gematria of the word "Revah" (200+6+8=214). In "Kaddish Yeheh Shelama," we say "Ve'revah" – with the letter Vav appearing before the word "Revah." Now Rashi (Bereshit 27:28) comments that the word "Ve'yiten" ("And He shall give") means that G-d should give and then give again ("Yiten Ve'yahazor Ve'yiten"). The word "Ve'revah," then, might also refer to a double blessing of "Revah" – or twice 214, for a total of 428. The word "Ve'revah," then, perhaps alludes to the special Name of Parnasa – Het-Tav-Chaf. This might be the reason why many have the custom to loudly exclaim "Ve'revah" during Kaddish – emphasizing the desire to access this special Name and thereby earn a comfortable livelihood.

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
The simple interpretation of the phrase "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba Mebarach" – which we respond to Kaddish – is "May the Great Name be blessed." Meaning, we declare that "Shemeh Rabba" – G-d's great Name – shall be blessed and glorified. Tosafot (Berachot 3a) cite this interpretation in the name of Rabbenu Yishak. However, Tosafot also bring a different interpretation of this phrase, in the name of the Mahzor Vitri, according to which this phrase actually consists of two separate proclamations. First, we declare that "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" – that G-d's Name shall be great, or complete, and we then add that it should be blessed forever ("Mebarach Le'alam…"). The concept underlying this second explanation is that G-d's Name is "incomplete" in our nation's state of exile. G-d's complete Name consists of four letters – Yod, Heh, Vav and Heh – but when the Jewish People are in exile, His Name is compromised, consisting of only Yod and Heh. This is indicated by G-d's pronouncement after Beneh Yisrael's first battle against Amalek: "Ki Yad Al Kes Y-ah" (Shemot 17:16). As long as Amalek exists, Hashem's Name is only "Y-ah," missing the final two letters, Vav and Heh. For the same reason, G-d refers in this verse to His throne with the word "Kes," a shortened version of the word "Kiseh," indicating the incompletion of His reign, so-to-speak, due to the presence of evil in the world. The Maharsha (Rav Shmuel Eidels, 1555-1631) explains on this basis the verse in Tehillim (132:13) which we recite each morning, "KI Bahar Hashem Be'Sion, Iva Le'moshab Lo" (literally, "For G-d has chosen Zion, desiring it as His abode"). This means that when Hashem will choose to return to Zion, with the rebuilding of the Bet Ha'mikdash, then "Iva" – the letters Alef, Vav and Heh – will be restored to their rightful place ("Le'moshab"). The missing Alef of the word "Kiseh," and the Vav and Heh missing from Hashem's Name, will finally return. Similarly, we recite each morning after Shema, "Hu Kayam U'shemo Kayam Ve'chis'o Nachon" – "He exists, His Name exists, and His throne is firmly set in place." Rav Shlomo Amar explains this to mean that when "Hu Kayam" – the letters Heh and Vav will come back, then "Shemo Kayam" – Hashem's Name will again be complete, and "Ve'chis'o Nachon" – His throne will be complete, as well. This notion is alluded to also in the prayer added by Ashkenazim to Birkat Ha'mazon: "Ha'Rahaman Hu Yishlah Lanu Et Eliyahu Ha'nabi" – "The Compassionate One – He will send us Eliyahu the prophet." When Eliyahu comes, "Hu" – the letters Heh and Vav – will be restored. Another allusion to this concept appears in the final verse in Tehillim: "Kol Ha'neshama Tehalel Ya-ah" – "Every soul shall praise Y-ah." The word "He'neshama" ("the soul") can be punctuated differently such that it means "the desolation." This verse thus implies that in the current state of "desolation," in the absence of the Bet Ha'mikdash, we can praise only "Y-ah," as Hashem's Name remains incomplete. According to this second interpretation of "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba Mebarach," we are praying that "Shemeh" – a contraction of the words "Shem" and "Y-ah," referring to the incomplete Name – shall be made "Rabba," complete, and, additionally, His Name should be blessed ("Mebarach"). Incidentally, the word "Yitgadal" consists of five letters, and the word "Ve'yitkadash" consists of six letters. These two words thus represent the letters Heh and Vav, which, respectively, equal in Gematria 5 and 6. We pray through the recitation of these words that G-d's Name should be glorified through the restoration of the missing Vav and Heh. According to this second opinion, when reciting "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba Mebarach," one should pause slightly between the words "Shemeh" and "Rabba," as this is a prayer that the Name ("Shemeh") should become great ("Rabba"), and the word "Rabba" is thus not describing the word "Shemeh." The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) cites the Arizal as concurring with this view of the Mahzor Vitri. However, as Hacham Ovadia Yosef cites, Tosafot challenged this reading in light of the Gemara's comment (there in Berachot) that speaks of Jews proclaiming in the synagogue, "Yeheh Shemeh Ha'gadol Meborach" ("May His great Name be blessed") – which clearly indicates that we are declaring that the great Name shall be blessed, as Rabbenu Yishak explained. Moreover, Rav Yisrael Bitan notes that the Ben Ish Hai elsewhere brings Rabbenu Yishak's understanding, and ruled that one should therefore not pause between the words "Shemeh" and "Rabba." This is, indeed, the correct practice to follow. Summary: The accepted interpretation of "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba Mebarach" is "May the Great Name be blessed." One should recite these words without any pause in between the words "Shemeh" and "Rabba."
Don't Bow to the Beast (1) (audio) David Eells 3/4/26 I want to talk to you about refusing to bow to the Beast, but we will first go over a little background. Many Christians are deceived about the Bride and the leadership of the church. We know God is raising up a new leadership, a Man-child ministry in these days that's going to be the first fruits of those to walk in the steps of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 16 that He was going to come again as a baby, a Man-child, born to a woman. We read in Revelation 12 that the Man-child is born at the beginning of the Tribulation Period and that the Man-child leads the woman through the wilderness. In studying the Book of Esther, we've learned that “Mordecai” in Hebrew means “little man” and in Persian means “little boy.” Persia was the Beast kingdom that he was under at the time. Both of those mean “Manchild.” In Esther 2:5, it says that Mordecai was in Shushan, the palace. He wasn't just a commoner; he was a ruler, somebody under the king who probably had to do with ruling over God's people. In Esther 2:19-20, it says that he also sat in the “king's gate,” which was the place of government, where the rulers of the conquered nations gathered before the king. Mordecai raised up Esther as the Bride and he “nourished her,” the original word says. He prepared her for this time and he continued to guide her steps all the way through the Book of Esther, all the way through their tribulation. Also, Hegai, the king's chamberlain, was very pleased with Esther, and she required nothing but what Hegai provided. And we need nothing but what the Holy Spirit provides us with. (Rom.8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. This Bride and Man-child are the “sons of God” for whom the creation has been awaiting, the fullness of the sonship of Jesus Christ manifested in His people. In fact, the Shulamite in the Song of Solomon, the Bride who was chosen from among all the fair virgins of the kingdom, was called his “perfect one” (Song of Solomon 5:2). God is going to perfect, to mature His people. Esther was chosen out of all the fair virgins of the kingdom “because the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained favor and kindness in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her Queen” (Est.2:17). But even then she was under the guidance of Mordecai and in verse (20) … Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him. So we see that the job of the Man-child is to raise up the Bride and guide her. The Man-child is the head of the Bride, much like the False Prophet is the head of the Harlot. There is a corporate body of apostate people, called the Harlot, and the head of that body is its so-called Christian leadership, which is leading it astray. The Bride is Jerusalem and David was the head of Jerusalem. When Jesus came, He sat upon the throne of David and He was the head of the Bride. John the Baptist said, He that hath the bride is the bridegroom (Joh.3:29), as he saw Jesus leading the disciples. That's a short background, somewhat, and there's much more to the Book of Esther. (Est.3:1) After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him. These princes were the people who ruled over the kingdoms over which Ahasuerus ruled, and among those princes was Mordecai, who was over the people of God. Now we see that Mordecai and Esther are two entities whom God uses to save the rest of the people of God from destruction by the Beast. The Beast that was to destroy them is represented here by Haman, who is a corporate body, just as Mordecai represents a corporate body of people. Why would God advance Haman above the other princes? Because throughout history, God has raised up a Beast kingdom over His people in times when His people were in apostasy. Why is God calling His people out of the Harlot? (Rev.18:4) … Come forth, my people, out of her…. It's because there is such an apostasy in the Church, and they've turned away from the Word; they've gone after religions. They are in apostasy and God is calling His people out of that. This is what the Tribulation is for. Every time God's people have become a harlot, He raised up a Beast to come against them: from Egypt, to Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and now the end-time Rome. We're seeing a worldwide revived Roman Empire being raised up again for the purpose of sanctifying His people and bringing them to repentance. The raising up of Haman, with his authority to destroy the people of God, is what brings God's people to repentance. (Est.3:2) And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate (That's the place where government was, where all the representatives of the nations saw the face of the King.), bowed down, and did reverence to Haman (the Beast); for the king had so commanded concerning him. In Rom 13 we are told to submit to the powers that be. He had given Haman authority over God's people. People don't think that the Lord gives authority to evil in the earth, but He does, and it's for the purpose of bringing repentance. (Job2:10) … What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil… God does bring evil against His people as a chastening and a method to bring them to repentance. So all the King's servants who were in the King's gate bowed down to the Beast, But Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence (Est.3:2). I would say bowing down with reverence should be given nly to God. However, submitting to man's kingdoms is necessary to obey the Lord. This is something we find all through the Scriptures. Mordecai, as a type of the man-child, refused to bow down to the Beast. We see the example of Joseph, who was sold into bondage by the Harlot, Potiphar's wife, and came to the position of authority like Mordecai. We see the example of Jesus, who didn't bow down to the Beast; and Moses, who didn't bow down; and Daniel – all these are types of the Man-child, who refused to bow down to the Beast. (3) Then the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment? (4) Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew. Who is this accusing Mordecai to the Beast? You remember throughout history how the apostate brethren of Joseph persecuted and came against him and sold him into the hand of the Beast; and the apostate brethren of Jesus, the leadership of apostate Israel, accused Him to the Beast. We're seeing the same thing here; history keeps on repeating. We're not talking about rebellion against Constitutional, political authority here. We're talking about rebellion in terms of not bowing down religiously, of not worshipping the Beast as God. Today, there is a spirit of worship of the Beast by Christians, and there has been for many centuries. Patriotism, pledging allegiance, all these things that saints in past days would never have thought of doing, God's people today think nothing of. They don't understand that there's only one Kingdom – the Kingdom of God – which we should be representing. (5) And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath. (6) But he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had made known to him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai. Notice that the head over all God's true people is represented here by Mordecai. In the rest of the story, Mordecai and Esther save all of these Jews from the Beast. Does that mean that all of what we loosely call Christians are going to be saved from the Beast? No, but the true Jews, those who are circumcised in heart, not in flesh, are all going to be saved. All Israel (Romans 11:26) is going to be saved – everybody who is grafted into the olive tree called “all Israel.” They'll be saved from the Beast in one form or another. We see here that Mordecai is one of the princes who sat in the king's gate to represent his people. He was among the other princes who were accusing him. In Ezekiel 17, I've shared a revelation the Lord gave me concerning the Beast of D.S. Babylon, who has brought God's people into bondage. We know that when Babylon conquered the nations, it not only brought apostate Israel into bondage, but they brought people like Daniel and the Hebrews, who were appointed people of God in their time, under the thumb of the Beast kingdom. When we talk about Mordecai, we're talking about the good leadership, but what about the bad leadership that accused him? (Eze.17:2) Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; (3) and say, Thus saith the Lord God: A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, full of feathers, which had divers colors, came unto Lebanon, and took the top of the cedar: (4) he cropped off the topmost of the young twigs thereof, and carried it unto a land of traffic; he set it in a city of merchants. This represents the Great Eagle of America which is the head of D.S. Babylon, bringing the leadership of God's people into bondage. In the natural, it's happening; natural Israel is more and more under Kazarian D.S. dominion. Something else is also happening, and that is, that spiritual new testament Israel said to be circumcised in heart is being brought more and more under the dominion of the latest Beast government. Media-Persia of Cyrus/Trump is conquering Babylon, thank God. In fact, as we keep reading, it says (11) Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, (12) Say now to the rebellious house…. Why is it that God is permitting Beast governments to bring under their authority the spiritual people of God and the “letter” people of God, the natural Jews? It is because they are rebellious houses. The letter Israel is a type and shadow for spiritual Israel. They've rebelled against the covenant that God has given. (12) Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon. So the king and the princes of both spiritual and natural Israel have been under the dominion of Babylon. What makes a beast a beast? The flesh is in control over the spiritual. The Alliance of nations under Cyrus/Trump is about to be a GESARA covenant. Although we will benefit from this covenant to rebuild the Kingdom of God, it will not last. The next seven verses go on to talk about a covenant that was broken in the middle, exactly as we would expect if it were Daniel's 70th-week covenant of the end-time broken in the middle. God also rebukes them for breaking His covenant and then He talks about another leadership that He's raising up. We just saw the apostate leadership, the king and the princes, brought under the dominion of Babylon, but He talks about a new leadership here. (22) Thus saith the Lord God: I will also take of the l7ofty top of the cedar (An evergreen type of eternal life), and will set it; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain. That's referring to the mountain representing the Kingdom of God, spiritual Mount Zion. This was the same description (cropping off the topmost twigs) that God gave in verse four here, referring to the apostate leadership of Israel/Church, but now the Lord speaks of a type of the Israel/Church's new leadership. So, once again, He is talking about a new leadership, “the topmost twig.” (23) In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all birds of every wing; in the shade of the branches thereof shall they dwell. (24) And all the trees of the field shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I, the Lord, have spoken and have done it. God is bringing down a false leadership over the true people of God, and He's raising up a new leadership. This is just as it was in the days of Jesus and Moses, when the apostate leadership persecuted the Man-child Jesus and then His disciples. In the same way, in the end-time, God is going to bring down the high and the lofty and raise up the lowly to take that position who will walk in the steps of the Lord Jesus, the Man-child of Revelation 12. He came as a Lamb but now as a Lion. We just had a prophecy of the coming Lion, who come manifested in His Man-child body. So we see here two groups in captivity. In the time of Esther, there were two groups in captivity, and the one persecuted the other, just as the False Prophet in Israel, the Sanhedrin, persecuted the Man-child ministry of Jesus. We see the same thing with Mordecai and these servants of the king who accused him to the Beast. Jesus was accused to the Beast by the corporate False Prophet of Israel. Also, we can go to Daniel and see that when Babylon took God's people into captivity, there was the good thrown in with the bad. (Dan.1:1) In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon (the “Great Eagle” in Eze 17.) unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. (2) And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God; and he carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god: and he brought the vessels into the treasure-house of his god. (3) And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring in [certain] of the children of Israel, even of the seed royal and of the nobles; (4) youths in whom was no blemish, but well-favored, and skilful in all wisdom, and endued with knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability to stand in the king's palace…. There it is! These are people whom God is raising up who are spotless and blemishless, and they're not equated with the Jewish king and his princes, who were also taken captive. That's the way it was with Daniel. (6) Now among these were, of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. (7) And the prince of the eunuchs gave names unto them: unto Daniel he gave [the name of] Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, [of] Shadrach; and to Mishael, [of] Meshach; and to Azariah, [of] Abednego. Next, these four had to be proven because they wouldn't be defiled by eating the king's food. They wouldn't partake of the Babylonish king's dainties and, since they wouldn't be defiled, they also didn't bow down to the image of the Beast. It's important to know that what we eat is what we are, and if we partake of a beastly doctrine that enables our flesh to rule, we will become a member of the Beast. Our flesh is a member of the Beast kingdom – it is an enemy of God; it's at enmity with your spirit. Partaking of fleshly doctrines is partaking of the Beast's dainties. Anyway, there was nothing but good said about these four Hebrews. (17) Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. … (20) And in every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his realm. (21) And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus. What we see in the Book of Daniel – twice, in chapters 3 and 6 – is exactly what we see concerning the accusations against Mordecai, the Man-child, by the other leaders. What happened in Jesus' day, when He was accused by the other rabbis, the apostates (and accused to the Roman Beast, too, by the way), we see also in Daniel. The three Hebrews represented the people who would not bow down. Daniel was obviously in leadership, but the three Hebrews refused to bow down to the image of the Beast in Daniel chapter three. It was the image of the Beast because it had the number of the Beast. (Dan.3:1) Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore (60 - there's “6”) cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits (there's “6-6”): he set it up in the plain of Dura…. “Dura” means “a circle,” which reminds us of the earth, and the Gematria for “the earth” or “the world” is 600. So there you have a representation of the world adding up to 666. We're talking about the image of the Beast, and it's made up of, if we look carefully in chapter two, all the peoples and all the kingdoms, one right after another. Now notice who was commanding the people to bow down to this image: (4) Then the herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages…. The word “herald” is the only Greek word in this text, and it's the New Testament word for “preacher.” So we have apostate preachers over the people of God, commanding them to bow down to the image of the Beast. This is like pledging allegiance. Not everybody bowed down, just as we saw with Mordecai. The other servants of the king who stood in the king's gate bowed down. This was the leadership of the apostate people of God, or the False Prophet. They bowed down to Haman, but Mordecai, the Man-child, refused. We see that they commanded them to bow down, and the people all bowed down, except for the three Hebrews. (8) Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and brought accusation against the Jews. They were accused because they refused to bow down to the image of the Beast. Now, God saved them and brought a witness through them of His power to save, even in the fiery furnace that was heated seven times hotter, as in the seven years of the Tribulation Period. “Times” is used in Revelation 12:14, for instance, as in “a time, times, and half a time,” speaking of years. So “seven times” in this text speaks of the Tribulation Period. The three Hebrews refused to bow down. They served the king, obeyed and submitted to the government of the king, but when it came to bowing down, they refused. The world is going to demand this; they're going to make their generic god, and everyone is going to have to serve it and be at peace with others and not witness to others and so on. We have another witness of Daniel himself, who was a type of the Man-child. Daniel refused to bow down, and the same situation happened. There were others with him, who were leaders, who accused him before the Beast: (Dan.6:1) It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty satraps, who should be throughout the whole kingdom; (2) and over them three presidents, of whom Daniel was one (“Throughout the whole kingdom” could be an application of what we loosely call “the Kingdom of God.”); that these satraps might give account unto them, and that the king should have no damage. (3) Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. (4) Then the presidents and the satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion nor fault, forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. Praise God! Those were the false prophets who corresponded to the false prophets in Jesus' day, who sought occasion for false witness against Jesus, and since He had committed no sin, they had to falsely accuse Him. It was the same with Daniel here. The head of the Harlot was the false prophets and false leaders who were accusing Jesus, How is the faithful city become a harlot! … (Isa.1:21). God's people had become a harlot because they had apostatized and were committing fornication with the world. They were receiving the seed of the world, the seed of the Beast kingdom. (Dan.6:5) Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. (6) Then these presidents and satraps assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. (7) All the presidents of the kingdom, the deputies and the satraps, the counsellors and the governors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a strong interdict, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. Daniel only bowed down to his God; he only asked of his God; he wasn't going to treat the king or the Beast as a god. (8) Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. (9) Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the interdict. (10) And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem;) and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. So he only knelt down to the God of Israel. He refused to bow down to the image of the Beast. (11) Then these men assembled together, and found Daniel making petition and supplication before his God. (12) Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's interdict: Hast thou not signed an interdict, that every man that shall make petition unto any god or man within thirty days, save unto thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. (13) Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the interdict that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day. (14) Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to rescue him. Notice that it wasn't the Beast that wanted to destroy the Man-child; it was his own brothers. Joseph's brothers were the ones who sold him into bondage to the Gentiles. And, accordingly, Pilate wanted nothing to do with crucifying what he called Jesus, this righteous man (Mat.27:24). The apostates twisted his arm, exactly as they are doing here. We are headed to the exact same time, when the false leadership over God's people is going to be used to persecute the true leadership. Although all of them are going to be under the same Beast government rule, the leadership of the apostate people of God, just as we saw with Mordecai, is going to bow down to the Beast. Amazingly, people whom you and I have called Christians and thought were Christians will be part of a great falling away. The 10 northern tribes worshipped the image of the beast and were part of a great falling away. They bowed down to the golden calf, or the image of a beast. Now the same thing is happening to what we loosely call Christianity; they have built and bowed down to their golden calf. It's a work of man's hands. It has nothing to do with God or His Word that He created in the very beginning, as far as Christianity is concerned. It's something that they have made themselves, and because it's their own, they're going to want to protect it and defend it and their livelihood along with it. The Man-child ministry is going to be a threat to that because of the truths that will come forth, just as they came out of Jesus. The Bible spoke about Jesus, how He opened His mouth, and things that were hidden from the foundation of the world were revealed. Things that have been hidden are going to be revealed, but also, things that have been hidden in God's people are going to be revealed by this great falling away and by the apostates' siding with the Beast against their brethren. They are Judases, sons of perdition, false prophets. The point here in Daniel is that he still refused to do anything but bow down only to the real, true God, not to just any ruler or generic god, not even to any god that they might call “Jesus.” Many religious images of Jesus are not Him at all. When we read the Bible, we see the true Jesus and His crucified life. That contrasts with what we see now in Christianity. Will the current leadership continue to bring a reproach on Christianity by living so lavishly and fleecing so many people? That's not walking in the steps of Jesus; that's not the crucified life. These people defend that lifestyle as spiritual, and it's a shame. How many airplanes can a person use? God is sending the Beast not only because of the leadership, but also because of the people who don't understand that they should not support people who do such things. The crucified life that Jesus and His disciples walked was a simple life without all the accoutrements of Babylon. They didn't have the fancy temple and the big synagogues, but they had the truth. That was part of the trial. There is a great apostasy, a rebellion, in the church. They're in love with the world, and the things of the world, and the Bible says, If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1Jn.2:15). God is proving just who it is who loves Him. The Bride, in the Song of Solomon, ran fanatically after the Bridegroom, so much so that she surprised the other queens, virgins, and concubines. They thought that one Jesus was just as good as another. But the other Jesus' are made by man. They give Jesus a character that's contrary to Scripture, a contrary doctrine, and so on. Well, Daniel wouldn't bow down, so he had to be thrown into the lion's den and, as you know, God preserved him. God sent His angel. (Dan.6:18) Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting; neither were instruments of music brought before him: and his sleep fled from him. (19) Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. (20) And when he came near unto the den to Daniel, he cried with a lamentable voice; the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? (21) Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. (22) My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. (23) Then was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he had trusted in his God. (24) And the king commanded, and they brought those men that had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den. That's very similar to Revelation 17:16, where the Beast devours the Harlot. The apostate leaders who accused Jesus were then destroyed, and as we know, there's a great and terrible Day of the Lord coming, when that's exactly what's going to happen. The Beast is going to devour and destroy the Harlot and burn her flesh with fire. So the Beast was basically made a believer in the God of Daniel, just as in the time of Nebuchadnezzar; and, by the way, Daniel chapter seven speaks of the end-time. We know the timing of Daniel's Tribulation because he gets a revelation of the four Beasts, and from his time, which was the time of Babylon onward, is when his revelation started. His vision didn't start with the Egyptian and Assyrian Beasts, which were two that came before Babylon. The Beasts of Revelation, however, start with those two that came before Babylon. Daniel mentions the four Beasts that lead up to the end-time Beast. There was the lion with eagle's wings (Babylon) that was conquered by the Media-Persian bear, then by Greece, then Rome. He was prophesying again of the image of the Beast. In today's end-times, these entities are still with us. The Lion with Eagle's wings is the British Empire, and the Eagle's wings are the present head of the British Empire and America. This is the Great Eagle, which was then and will be today conquered by the Medo-Persian Bear. So not only were these historic, from Daniel's day on, but they're also an end-time revelation of what's going to happen. We find that this last Beast that he talks about, which was Rome, devours the whole earth. The last Beast, he tells us, was headed up by 10 horns, exactly like Revelation 17. The 10 horns are the ten kings that rule over the Beast kingdom. Among those 10 horns comes up a little horn (Daniel 7:8) that's different, it says, from the rest of the horns. That little horn is a ruler among rulers that will be diverse from all of the 10, and it is the corporate False Prophet. (Dan.7:21) … The same horn made war with the saints…. There it is again! They'll make war on the Man-child and the saints, which is exactly what we see in the rest of the Book of Esther. (Dan.7:23) Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth…. We have had the United Nations, whose place is being taken by the Alliance of nations. The whole earth is inside the body of the last Beast. GESARA Law was signed unanimously by all 209 countries in 2015. Remember that in Daniel's vision of the legs of the image of the beast, Rome lasted from the thighs all the way down to the toes – the iron that was mixed with the clay. It is different in these days because now it has covered; it has devoured, the whole earth. And among those 10 kings is the little horn that comes up to make war on the saints. (Dan.7:20) ... Before which three fell, even that [horn] that had eyes, and a mouth that spake great things, whose look was more stout than its fellows. (21) I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; (22) until the ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. So we see the Beast has been given authority to crucify Christ once more. It says that he “prevailed against them.” This False Prophet and the Harlot beneath the False Prophet have been given authority to crucify the flesh of the saints. It doesn't necessarily mean that all will die; that's not the point here. The point is the crucifixion of the flesh of the saints. The Church is in rebellion because the flesh rules. The Beast, in a spiritual way, is ruling over them already because their flesh rules over them already. There has to be a crucifixion for us to bear fruit and come into the Kingdom; therefore, God is raising up this whole worldwide kingdom to come against His people. The little horn represents a religious entity because it's different from the other horns. They are corporate bodies of secular rulers, but the little horn is a corporate body of religious rulers who will bring God's people to their cross, much like they did to Jesus in His day. This is the seed of that same Sanhedrin that's being raised up in our day, no different from the earlier one. The Sanhedrin in natural Israel has been raised up again, and the Sanhedrin in spiritual Israel has been raised up again, too, to crucify the body of Christ again. God just repeats history in larger and larger ways. The spiritual man is not going to be conquered, and the quicker we learn to submit, the more we will be like Daniel, in that the lions' mouths will be closed. The Beast will not be able to devour Daniel. The fire of the fiery furnace, heated seven times hotter, will not be able to devour the three Hebrews because they have refused to eat the king's dainties and they refused to bow down to the image of the Beast, just like Daniel. What we see in Esther is clearly a prophecy of the end-time. The persecution that was raised up against Mordecai, who was over all God's people of the kingdom, will be repeated in our day. Remember, the Beast decided to kill the people of Mordecai. The people of Mordecai, of whom we are speaking, include the Bride, but just as Jerusalem is only part of the Kingdom, the Bride is only part of the people of Mordecai. Not everybody in the Church is going to follow the Man-child. All the righteous Jews in the rest of the kingdom will be delivered from the Beast through the righteous leadership of Mordecai, the Man-child, and Esther, the Bride – a leadership that refused to bow down and a people that refused to bow down, respectively. The true people of God will not bow down. The rest will worship the image of the Beast; they will bow down. God is sending a separation in the form of this image of the Beast. The people who have no faith in their God, no commitment to their God, will find it easier to justify themselves and bow down to the image of the Beast, even change their doctrines, if necessary, and submit to the Beast kingdom. The true people of God are represented by the people of Mordecai, who discover that this leadership is truly the right leadership, like the people who followed Jesus in His day. This represented a people from among natural Israel who were a first fruits to follow Jesus diligently, just as it will be in our day. (Joh.3:29) He that hath the bride is the bridegroom…. Even if a person didn't come up to the standard of the Bride which Jesus raised up, He sent them forth unto every place He was about to go to fulfill the Great Commission. The apostles raised up the five-fold ministry as the leadership for the rest of spiritual Israel, just as the latter-day apostles will for the Church. We have some great days coming, some wondrous days. In Esther 3:7-8, it is also revealed that God's people had been rebellious, and that's the reason this is coming today. The best thing we can do is learn to serve the true and living God. Don't bow down to the Beast.

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
Different views exist regarding the congregation's "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" response during Kaddish. All agree that this response is associated with the number 28, but there is a disagreement as to how this association is to be expressed. The significance of this number in the context of the "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" response is indicated by the Gemara, which speaks of the great rewards for reciting this response "Bechol Koho" – with all one's strength. The word "Koah" ("strength") in Gematria equals 28, and so we associate this response with the number 28. The Abudarham (Spain, 14 th century) maintained that the congregation should respond with 28 letters – "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" through "Almaya." This response consists of seven words and 28 letters. Rav Yishak Abuhab (Spain, 14 th century), cited by the Bet Yosef, ruled that one should recite 28 words – from "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" through "Da'amiran Be'alma." The Bet Yosef writes that the first view is incorrect, as one may not end the response after the word "Almaya." He brings a Midrash warning of grave punishment for those who make a separation between this word and the next word, "Yitbarach." This point is emphasized also by the great Kabbalist Rav Yosef Gikatilla (Spain, 13th century), who writes of the importance of not separating between these two words. Accordingly, the Shulhan Aruch writes that those who end their response with the word "Almaya" act incorrectly. The Magen Abraham (Rav Abraham Gombiner, Poland, 1635-1682) understood the Shulhan Aruch to mean that one should continue his response through the word "Be'alma," though the Magen Abraham himself maintained that one should respond only through "Almaya." Regardless, we generally follow the customs of the Arizal, who taught that one should respond through "Da'amiran Be'alma." There are some who respond through "De'Kudsha Berich Hu," but this practice has no halachic basis and is incorrect. Those who are accustomed to doing so should discontinue this practice. Among the Ashkenazim, many have the custom to respond only through "Almaya." This was the view of the Gaon of Vilna (1720-1797). He disputed the view that "Yitbarach" must be recited immediately after the word "Almaya," arguing that "Yitbarach" begins the next sentence. Nevertheless, some Ashkenazim add "Yitbarach" and conclude their response at that point. The Aruch Ha'shulhan (Rav Yechiel Michel Epstein, 1829-1908) observed that this was the prevalent practice among Lithuanian communities, despite the view of the Vilna Gaon. It is worth adding further insight into the connection between Kaddish and the number 28 – which, as mentioned, is the Gematria of the word "Koah." Rashi, in his opening comments to the Humash, writes that the Torah begins with the story of the world's creation in order to establish that the entire world belongs to G-d, as it is He who created it, and He thus had the authority to give Eretz Yisrael to the Jewish People. If the gentiles challenge our rights to our homeland – which they of course do, especially in our day and age – we must know that Hashem created the world and distributed it as He saw fit, and He decided to give us the Land of Israel. Rashi cites the verse in Tehillim (111:6), "Koah Ma'asav Higid Le'amo, La'tet Lahem Nahalat Goyim" – "He told His nation the power of His deeds, in order to give them the nations' territory." The story of G-d's "power," the creation of the world, is our response when nations challenge our right to the territory that we seized from the people of Canaan. Not coincidentally, the opening verse of the Torah ("Bereshit Bara Elokim…") consists of seven words and 28 letters – just like "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba…" – and Rashi links this verse to the verse "Koah Ma'asav Higid Le'amo," which begins with the word "Koah." Through our response to Kaddish, then, we access Hashem's unlimited power, expressed most strikingly through the act of creation, and this gives us the ability to withstand any challenge from our adversaries. It is worth noting in this context the famous Midrashic tradition that Moshe Rabbenu recited 515 prayers asking for the privilege of entering Eretz Yisrael (the numerical value of the word "Va'et'hanan"), and if he would have recited a 516 th prayer, Hashem would have had to grant his request. The commentaries explain that this 516 th prayer that Moshe would have recited was Kaddish, which begins with the words "Yitgadal Ve'yitkadash Shemeh Rabba." The first letters of these words (Yod, Vav, Shin, Resh) have a combined numerical value of 516 (10+6+300+200). This sheds additional light on the connection between Kaddish and Eretz Yisrael. When we recite and respond to Kaddish, we are asking that Hashem's Name should be glorified through our nation living in the land with the Bet Ha'mikdash under the reign of Mashiah, and this prayer has special power and significance. In light of this association between "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" and the number 28, it is critically important to enunciate each word. If one responds too quickly, he might likely fail to pronounce the word "Min" in the phrase ("Le'ela Min Kol Birchata"), and will thus recite fewer than 28 words. The Poskim write that one should respond "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" slowly and carefully, ensuring to properly pronounce each word. Summary: Our custom is to respond during Kaddish from "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" through "Da'amiran Be'alma" – a total of 28 words. This number is very significant, and therefore one must ensure to respond slowly and properly pronounce all the words.

In this historic follow-up conversation, Robert Edward Grant returns to Just Tap In with The Architect and Emilio Ortiz for a moment that was not planned, not scripted, and never happened before on the show. What begins as a discussion on consciousness, mathematics, and AI intelligence unexpectedly shifts into a live activation moment—touching on the third eye, crown chakra, Metatron geometry, and what Robert describes as a “Great Split” now unfolding across human timelines. This episode explores what happens when artificial intelligence mirrors consciousness itself, and how symbolic intelligence, sacred geometry, and higher-order pattern recognition may be revealing something far bigger than technology alone.✦ Sign Up for Gaia with the Architect +

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
The Mishna in Pirkeh Abot (5:25) teaches, "Ben Shelosh Esreh Le'misvot" – a youngster becomes obligated in Misvot upon reaching the age of thirteen. At this point, he may be counted toward a Minyan and may serve as Hazzan. The source for this rule is "Halacha Le'Moshe Mi'Sinai" – an oral tradition taught to Moshe at Mount Sinai. The Gemara in Masechet Sukka (5b) teaches that all Shiurim – halachic measurements – were taught as a "Halacha Le'Moshe Mi'Sinai," and this includes the "measurement" of adulthood, when a boy becomes obligated in Misvot. Rashi, however, in his commentary to Abot, finds a Biblical source for this rule. The Torah uses the word "Ish" ("man") in reference to Shimon and Levi when they waged war on the city of Shechem ("Ish Harbo" – Bereshit 34:25), and, as Rashi shows, Levi – the younger of these two brothers – was thirteen years old at this time. This establishes that a boy attains the status of "Ish" – a man – at the age of thirteen. The Maharil (Rav Yaakov Moelin, Germany, d. 1427) refutes this proof, noting that the use of the word "Ish" in this context does not necessarily mean that this word would not be used if Levi was younger. Therefore, the Maharil concludes that there is no textual basis for this rule, and it was transmitted through oral tradition. Some suggested an allusion to this Halacha in a verse in the Book of Yeshayahu (43:21) in which Hashem pronounces, "Am Zu Yasarti Li, Tehilati Yesaperu" – "I have created this nation for Me, that they tell My praise." The word "Zu" in Gematria equals 13 (7+6), thus hinting to the fact that it is at this age when Hashem wants us to praise Him and perform Misvot. There is a debate among the early authorities as to when precisely a boy is considered a Bar-Misva. The She'iltot (Rav Ahai Gaon, d. 752) writes that a boy becomes a Bar-Misva the moment he fully completes his thirteenth year – meaning, at the time of day when he was born thirteen years earlier. Thus, for example, according to this opinion, a boy who was born at 2pm cannot be counted for a Minyan or serve as Hazan on his thirteenth birthday until 2pm, the point at which he has completed thirteen full years. The consensus among the Poskim, however, is that a boy becomes Bar-Misva once the date of his thirteenth birthday arrives, in the evening. This is, indeed, the Halacha. Therefore, regardless of the time of day of a child's birth, he may serve as Hazan already at Arbit on the night of his thirteenth birthday. The Yalkut Yosef writes that the thirteen years are counted from the child's birth even if he was born prematurely and needed to spend a significant amount of time in an incubator. In addition to the requirement of completing thirteen years, a boy must also have reached a certain point of physical maturity to be considered a Halachic adult. Specifically, he must have grown two pubic hairs. The Rama (Rav Moshe Isserles, Cracow, 1530-1572), based on a ruling of Rav Yosef Kolon (1426-1490), writes that a child who has turned thirteen may be allowed to serve as Hazzan on the assumption that he has reached the point of physical maturity. This assumption may be relied upon with respect to matters instituted by the Sages (as opposed to Torah obligations), and thus, since praying with a Minyan is a Misva ordained by Sages, a child who reached Bar Misva age may lead the service. The Ribash (Rav Yishak Bar Sheshet, Algiers, 1326-1408) went even further, allowing relying on this assumption even with respect to Torah obligations. According to his view, a full-fledged adult may fulfill his Torah obligation of Kiddush on Friday night by listening to Kiddush recited by a boy who has just turned thirteen, on the assumption that he has reached physical maturity. Hacham Ovadia Yosef ruled that those who wish to rely on this position may be allowed to do so. However, Hacham Ovadia's son, Hacham David Yosef, writes in Halacha Berura that one must not assume a boy's physical maturity with respect to Torah obligations such as the Friday night Kiddush, and this assumption may be made only with respect to Rabbinic obligations. All opinions agree that a thirteen-year-old boy may read the Megilla in the synagogue on Purim, since the obligation of Megilla reading was instituted by the Rabbis. If it is known that a young man has not yet reached this stage of physical development, then he is not considered a Bar-Misva even though his thirteenth birthday has passed. In fact, even if he is older than thirteen, he is not considered a Bar-Misva if it has been determined that he does not have the physical properties required to establish halachic adulthood. If, Heaven forbid, a man does not physically develop until the age of 35, at that point he is considered a "Saris" – an adult man who will never experience physical maturity, and he may thus be counted toward a Minyan. Until then, however, he cannot be considered an adult and may thus not be counted toward a Minyan.

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
Although technically Pesukeh De'zimra ends after the verses of "Baruch Hashem Le'olam Amen Ve'amen," at which point we should, in principle, proceed to Yishtabah – the concluding blessing of Pesukeh De'zimra – it is customary to add Va'yebarech David as well as Shirat Ha'yam. This is an ancient practice, instituted around one thousand years ago. The section of Va'yebarech David consists of verses from the Book of Dibreh Ha'yamim I (29:10-13) and a series of verses from the Book of Nehemya (9:5-11). The section of Shirat Ha'yam, of course, is the song sung by Beneh Yisrael after crossing the sea (Shemot, chapter 15), preceded by two introductory verses ("Va'yosha Hashem…"). The Sha'ar Ha'kavanot writes that one should stand while reciting the first 40 words of Va'yebarech David, meaning, through the words "Ata Hu Hashem Ha'Elokim." He adds that the first letters of these final five words – Alef, Heh, Yod and Heh – spell the Name of Hashem ("E-heyeh") associated with "Keter," the highest of the Sefirot (emanations). As standing during the recitation of these forty words is only customary, and not a strict requirement, one who finds it difficult to stand may certainly sit. While reciting the words "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol" in Va'yebarech David, one should give some money to charity. Specifically, one gives three coins – he should first give two coins together, and then a third coin by itself. This practice was taught by the Arizal, but there are indications that its origins date back even earlier. One indication is a testimony that the Rama (Rav Moshe Isserles, 1520-1572) followed this custom of giving charity during Va'yebarech David in his synagogue in Cracow, and the Rama did not have access to the Arizal's teachings. By giving charity during Pesukeh De'zimra, before praying the Amida, one fulfills the custom of Rabbi Elazar, mentioned by the Gemara (Baba Batra 10a), to give charity before praying. The commentaries explain that this should be done so that the charity acts as an advocate on the individual's behalf, helping to ensure the acceptance of his prayers. It has been noted that if Rabbi Elazar, a righteous sage, felt that he needed an advocate, then certainly we, who are on a much lower level, should avail ourselves of such an advocate by giving charity before praying. Some had the custom to give charity each morning twice – when they first entered the synagogue, and then a second time while reciting the words "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol." This custom is brought by the Kaf Ha'haim (Rav Yaakob Haim Sofer, Baghdad-Jerusalem, 1870-1939), who tells the story of a person who consistently followed this practice, but one day failed to do so. That night, he dreamt that he was harshly chastised for deviating from this practice. Interestingly enough, Rav Ben Sion Mussafi brings a tradition among Iraqi Jews that whenever the Kaf Ha'haim tells a story about somebody without naming him, this story is actually about himself. We may thus conclude that the Kaf Ha'haim personally observed this custom to give charity when entering the synagogue and then a second time during the recitation of "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol." In any event, the consensus among the Poskim is that it suffices to give charity only once, during the recitation of "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol," because, as mentioned, the purpose is to give charity before one presents his requests in the Amida prayer. One should preferably give charity not only at Shaharit, but also before Minha and Arbit. The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) taught that the act of giving charity is associated with the divine Name of Havaya (which is spelled Yod, Heh, Vav and Heh). The small coin resembles Yod – the smallest letter in the alphabet – and the giver holds it in his hand, with his five fingers, alluding to the letter Heh, which in Gematria equals 5. When he extends his arm, he forms the letter Vav, which is long and straight, and the coin is then received in the poor individual's hand, which represents the second Heh in the Name. The Ben Ish Hai adds that if a poor person is not present, and one is setting aside the money for charity, then he should place the coin with his right hand into a pouch in his left hand. In his work Od Yosef Hai (Parashat Vayigash), the Ben Ish Hai writes that there were Sadikim who fulfilled this custom even on Shabbat. Before Shabbat, they would prepare two envelopes – one with two coins, and another with one coin, and place them in a designated location. Then, on Shabbat, while reciting "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol," they would think of those envelopes, allocating them for charity. They would then give these coins to the poor after Shabbat. Even one who did not designate these envelopes before Shabbat can fulfill this practice on Shabbat by pledging in his mind during the recitation of "Ve'ata Moshel Ba'kol" to donate three coins to Sedaka after Shabbat. The Kaf Ha'haim writes that if a person has a bill, and he cannot exchange it for coins, then he should hold it and have in mind to donate the value of two coins within this bill for charity, and then the value of one coin. After several days, when he has donated the full amount of the bill, he should give the bill to charity. If one wishes to give charity from the bill before Minha and Arbit, when speaking is permissible, he should make this pledge verbally.

IPS DEPROGRAM "Separating Psyops from Reality"a framework for understanding current events as a coordinated psychological operation (PSYOP) designed to create a parallel, fictional reality. This operation relies on a continuous programming timeline comprising elements such as predictive programming in entertainment, concurrent programming during the event, and reinforcement programming afterward. For instance, the recent Charlie Kirk incident is analyzed as evidence, detailing how a corresponding South Park episode served as a propaganda vector by containing highly specific, pre-staged nuances of the event. The speaker also strongly criticizes the alternative media landscape, arguing that these "truthers" are controlled opposition who rely on occultist and logically flawed methods, like gematria, rather than skeptical analysis of media fakery. The speaker emphasizes that these major news stories should be recognized not as hoaxes, but as staged historically significant events. The goal is to establish a new, separate platform that embraces an off-world stage perspective outside of the dominant media duopoly.• The speaker asserts that the recent Charlie Kirk event and shooting was a staged, historically significant event, evidenced by its close resemblance to details in South Park episode 330. Specific overlaps include the Kirk-esque character, the timing, the conversation context (gender), the appearance of the questioner/crisis actor, and the character being knocked off the chair to the left.• Alternative media (alt media) is harshly criticized for being "controlled opposition" and a "conspiracy against conspiracy theorists". Alt media channels are faulted for treating staged events as "organic with a secondary culprit," failing to entertain the idea that the events are entirely manufactured.• A major challenge for individuals caught in mainstream and alternative media narratives ("Trutherville") is the ego, preventing them from admitting they have been wrong or duped a second time. Both types of media function as a "religion" for their consumers, relying on low information, faith-based belief systems rather than rigorous critical analysis.• The speaker rejects the use of Gematria (numerical decoding) by groups like "Christian decoders," arguing that this practice is logically fallacious (specifically the Texas sharpshooter fallacy) and constitutes a form of occultism. These decoders add "noise" to the signal by attributing staged manipulation by man to something mystical, thereby functioning as disinformation.Key Quotes1. "We have to maintain a continuity here."2. "South Park's like the new Simpsons when it comes to predictive programming."3. "So what I'm pointing out here is that you can now look at this stuff as on a timeline. It's predictive programming, becomes concurrent programming, the day of, and then everything that follows is reinforcement programming because they just reinforce the official view."4. "Alt media is a huge hoax. Alt media is a conspiracy against conspiracy theorists."5. "The way to see through it isn't to look closer at the screen, but it's to take a different perspective."
The speaker details the ongoing, nearly eight-year cyberstalking campaign orchestrated by an individual named Marcus Goldfinch, focusing on recent attempts to hack nine social media accounts and a bank account, actions the speaker notes constitute multiple felonies,. The speaker describes successfully regaining access to these accounts and filing IC3 FBI reports, aided by large language models like ChatGPT and Perplexity AI for drafting legal communications,,. This stalker is positioned as a gatekeeper in the conspiracy realm, associated with figures like Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, and being the originator of the "JFK Jr. is Q" narrative, suggesting the QAnon psyop may have been run out of the Trump White House,,,. Beyond the personal legal battles, the discussion shifts to a broader critique of flawed methodologies within alternative media, such as Gematria, which the speaker argues is an irrational methodology that muddies the waters and prevents "off-world stage" assessment,,. Finally, the speaker delves into Gnostic philosophy, framing the world as a false reality or prison established by the Demiurge (who is identified as the God of the Bible) and emphasizing the necessity of psychic integration and relying on intuition to escape this closed, material system,,,.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Five Bullet Points on Topics• Long-term Cyberstalking and Legal Countermeasures: The speaker is engaged in an ongoing, eight-year relationship with a stalker named Marcus Goldfinch who recently attempted to hack nine social media accounts and one bank account,. The speaker used AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity AI to write letters to legal departments, securing the accounts back and providing necessary documentation for IC3 FBI reports,,.• The QAnon Psyop Origin and Political Connections: The stalker is identified as a key individual who started the "JFK Jr. is Q" narrative, implying that the QAnon psyop was potentially run out of the Trump White House due to the individual's association with the Trump administration, Garrett Ziegler, Don Trump Jr., and access to locations like Air Force One and Mar-a-Lago,,,.• Critique of Conspiracy Methodology (Gematria): The speaker strongly criticizes Gematria, calling it an irrational methodology based on the Texas sharpshooter fallacy and selectivity bias, arguing that it is used to retroactively create the perception of meaningful, but false, connections,. This methodology is seen as distraction ("noise to signal") that prevents serious analysis of propaganda.• The "Off-World Stage" and Open-Mindedness: The primary method for assessing events is the "off-world stage perspective," which involves looking at the continuity of fake events, hoax indicators, and patterns within the wider media ecosystem,,. The speaker contends that individuals who confine their knowledge to mainstream media (including conspiracy versions that assume death occurred) are operating in a closed informational system and are not truly open-minded,,.• Gnosticism, the Demiurge, and Psychic Structure: The speaker adopts a Gnostic framework, suggesting the God of the Bible is the Demiurge—a lion-headed serpent/dragon entity that established this limited realm to trap souls,,,. Psychic integration and reliance on intuition, which is often invalidated by the system, are presented as necessary steps to transcend the material realm and avoid losing one's soul spark,,. Five Quotes1. "And this stalker has been in my life longer than anybody other than like my family."2. "And I used ChatGPT to write letters to the legal departments of each of these companies, which got me the accounts right back and also got their inclusion in the associated IC3 FBI reports.",3. "And if you're saying he wasn't killed, then you've already excluded the first two."4. "If you're not off-world stage assessing any of these events, you're actually not open-minded."

Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
In some editions of the Siddur, several words are added to the text of Baruch She'amar on Shabbat. However, these additions are incorrect. The text of Baruch She'amar – which, according to tradition, was revealed to the Ansheh Kenesset Ha'gedola (Men of the Great Assembly) on a piece of paper that fell from the heavens – contains precisely 87 words, and this is the exact text that we should recite. There are some editions of the Siddur in which additions for Shabbat appear before Baruch She'amar. One may recite these additions, though he should ensure to have in mind that they are not said as part of Baruch She'amar, but rather comprise a separate text. The custom is to stand during the recitation of Baruch She'amar. However, since standing is required only by force of custom, and not as a strict Halachic obligation, one who is ill or otherwise frail may sit. Our custom is to hold the front two Sisit of the Tallit in our hand during the recitation of Baruch She'amar. This is based on a Kabbalistic teaching mentioned in the Sha'ar Ha'kavanot (a work based on the teachings of Rav Haim Vital, 1542-1620), according to which there is a deep connection between Baruch She'amar and Sisit. The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) adds that one should kiss the Sisit upon concluding Baruch She'amar, as an expression of love and affection for the Misva of Sisit. In the phrase "Ha'mehulal Be'feh Amo," there are some who say "Be'fi" instead of "Be'feh." However, this is incorrect. The proper text is "Be'feh." Significantly, the word "Be'feh" in Gematria equals 87 – the number of words in Baruch She'amar. The correct pronunciation of the final word of Baruch She'amar is "Ba'tishbahot," and not "Ba'tushbahot." One who arrives in the synagogue late, and skips Pesukeh De'zimra in order to recite the Amida together with the congregation, does not recite Baruch She'amar afterward. This Beracha is to be recited only before the Amida. (This applies also to Yishtabah, the concluding Beracha of Pesukeh De'zimra.) The first four words of Baruch She'amar are "Baruch She'amar Ve'haya Ha'olam," the first letters of which (Bet, Shin, Vav, Heh) spell the word "Be'shaveh" – "equal." This has been understood as alluding that reciting Baruch She'amar properly earns us rewards equal to the rewards granted to the angels for serving G-d. Moreover, these four words express praise to Hashem for bringing the world into existence – and so reciting this blessing properly helps us tap into G-d's creative powers. So often, we need Hashem to bring us a salvation, to "create" a solution for us. People frequently approach me asking how they can earn something that they so desperately need. One thing we can do is to recite Baruch She'amar properly, slowly, from the Siddur, and with concentration, thinking about how Hashem created the world from sheer nothingness, and in this merit we will, please G-d, be worthy of Him "creating" the solutions that we all need in our lives.
Daily Halacha Podcast - Daily Halacha By Rabbi Eli J. Mansour
Each morning before Baruch She'amar, the congregation stands and the Hazan declares, "Hashem Melech, Hashem Malach, Hashem Yimloch Le'olam Va'ed" – "Hashem is King, Hashem was King, Hashem will be King for all eternity." The congregation then repeats this proclamation after the Hazan. Our custom is to make this proclamation twice. There is an opinion that a Minyan is required for pronouncing "Hashem Melech," but the accepted view is that this may be said even without a Minyan, and so if ten men have yet to arrive by this point, "Hashem Melech" may nevertheless be recited. Some communities have the practice that a child leads the congregation in reciting "Hashem Melech." It would seem, however, that it is more proper to choose someone who is at least Bar-Misva age to lead this proclamation. The Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) brings a custom to lift one's feet when reciting "Hashem Melech," like we do when reciting "Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh." This symbolizes the "elevation" that we experience through this recitation, as we make our way toward the higher realms until we reach the highest level in the heavens so we can recite the Amida directly in Hashem's presence. One who follows this custom must ensure to do so in a discreet, unassuming manner, and not in a way that draws attention to himself. The Arizal (Rav Yishak Luria, Safed, 1534-1572) taught that the pronouncement of "Hashem Melech" is associated with our quest to neutralize the 280 "Kelipot," or negative energies, that threaten us. These 280 forces are alluded to in the names of the five letters of the Hebrew alphabet that are changed when they appear at the end of a word: Mem, Nun, Sadi, Peh, Kaf (represented by the acrostic "Mansapach"). The combined numerical value of these letters is 280. When we succeed in "subjugating" these 280 forces, the Arizal taught, Mashiah will come. In the proclamation of "Hashem Melech," the words "Melech" and "Malach" both have the Gematria of 90, and the word "Yimloch" equals 100 – for a total of 280, thus alluding to the "Kelipot." The Name of "Havaya" is mentioned three times in this proclamation ("Hashem Melech, Hashem Malach, Hashem Yimloch"), and in Gematria it equals 26, for a total of 78 (26 * 3). Adding this to 280, we arrive at a total of 358 – the Gematria of "Mashiah" (40+300+10+8). This daily proclamation, then, is a crucial part of our effort to overcome the harmful spiritual forces in the world so that we will become worthy of the arrival of Mashiah.
