Years ago I saw a bumper sticker that said "Don't believe everything you think" and I thought it was so funny -- like that's even possible!?!But now, more than a decade into my journey into developing more inner peace, I know that deciding which thoughts to invest in and which to ignore is essential to living with less stress and more happiness. In this episode, I talk about the concept of not believing everything you think, why you might want to be more discerning about which thoughts to give credence to and how to unhook from unhelpful thoughts.I mention the incredibly insightful and helpful work of Bryon Katie, who suggests asking four questions to investigate our thoughts:• Is it true?• Can I absolutely know it's true?• How do I react when I believe this thought?• Who would I be without this thought? In the heat of the moment, if you can't remember these questions or don't have time to go through them, simply ask yourself: Is this thought helpful?I hope you find this strategy useful. Please let me know if you try it and what you think! Please keep in touch! This episode pulls together a couple themes we've had this month: change and making things easier. We dig into Mike Dooley's book, Manifesting Change, It Couldn't be Easier. Here are 3 takeaways from today's episode: 1. Manifesting change can be easy – key is to know our end result and then moving in its general direction. 2. And all you high achievers listening, avoid the "cursed hows" (where individuals become overly focused on the specific details of how their goals will be achieved). Time to trust the universe. 3. Imagination is a tool toward making our dreams come true and a practice of visualizing is a way to exercise our imagination. Feeling like your own worst enemy and biggest critic can make life very unpleasant. It can feel like a constant trudging through mud trying to just get through life with crippling low self esteem and little to no confidence. I know how arduous it can be because I've lived that way for much of my life and I've worked with many individuals who have. In this solo episode I offer my take on what is Self Betrayal/Abandonment, how you can identify it and then work to shift it and move into a place of self-acceptance/regard.* The Book I referenced was indeed Bryon Katie's, Loving What Is. I am so excited about this episode. I had the immense honor to speak with one of most profoundly wise people I've ever had the pleasure of reading, listening and following. Bryon Katie. Now those of you who don't know her story, it is definitely one of the most amazing, yet simple transformations. In the midst of a horrendously dark chapter in her life, she received the gift of what I would call enlightenment. She was lying on the floor, in the thick of depression when a bug crawled across her foot and in that moment she was detached enough from her emotions and thoughts to find her self in a new level that would later be known as who she identifies as, and who we know to be Bryon Katie today. As synchronicity would have, in the chapter of my life that I spoke to her, I was facing one of the darkest chapters of my life myself. I was facing one of the most traumatic upheavals in my personal and professional life all at once. And thankfully, the universe delivered me into the hands of Byron Katie. Very shortly I found myself immediately comforted by her processes and I want to share with you my experience of her. After a couple short weeks, I had the opportunity to speak with her directly. Her work is simple yet profound. I learned that no suffering can occur while asking the questions she poses to anyone facing a challenge. I've been pondering the experience you often described of sitting with a feeling and inquiring into what arises as a healing space of awareness, where a shift happens. And while I'm sometimes aware that there is no me to do it or anything, I wonder what actually happens when a shift occurs and how whatever happens takes place? When I think there is a me doer, I wonder how best to inquire into it, to see through it, make it transparent? This may be the result of way overthinking it, and if so it wouldn't be the first time.An example might show my pondering:I talk on the phone with my darling, beloved sister. She shares with me what's been happening in her life and I note an edge in her voice when she tells me of something particularly good that has happened to her. I hear this “edge” as bragging, a subtle putdown, and feel annoyed and jealous. I'm aware that I'm feeling this and then add on top of this a level of self-recrimination and guilt, as annoyance and jealousy aren't “good” emotions. I love my sister and feel I should be happy for her, period. So I feel all of this and sit with it. I feel diminished and I feel icky. And then I inquire about what's going on. I see old childhood rivalries and competition for parental love and attention. I see where, sometimes when I talk with her, I am annoying and bragging. I own it. I allow as we're both human we're entitled to express human emotions. I see that our reactions come from our body/mind systems of how to be in the world. I allow as what I heard in her voice was my own projection. I've taken an endless deep dive into my psychology. This may be well and good, but it feels like drowning in concepts and beliefs. Every “rational” explanation feels like another card in a house of cards that is built on vapor, going nowhere. How is this healing?I wonder who is doing this diving and feeling and inquiring? Is this the body/mind busy defending its existence? Is this a process, a practice, for healing that, like Bryon Katie's The Work, becomes steps to be followed when a constriction is felt? Or is this inquiry description only of what happens when feelings are felt with inquiry, not a prescription? What makes the shift, the flip from personal to impersonal? Sitting with the feelings and inquiring into them can feel like endless, pointless suffering. What is it in feeling the feelings, asking in curiosity about them, that shifts to the allowing of it, the accepting it, the witnessing it?

Bryon Katie said, “Life is simple. Everything happens for you, not to you. Everything happens at exactly the right moment, neither too soon nor too late.” A key factor in our success is to consciously choose the meaning we give to situations. In this episode, Cindra talks about how you can choose a meaning that empowers you, that makes you better, and serves you. We can choose a meaning that acknowledges that the events happened for you, not to you. Phrase this Week: “I see the opportunity in every difficulty. Life is happening for me not to me.”
Welcome to today's show! WHAT WE'LL LEARN: Please listen to EP 101 where we learn Arlina's background before listening to this one :) Why our brains are designed to focus on the negative. And how to increase our awareness of this. Arlina, at a young age, kept finding reasons that she wasn't “good enough” and “smart enough” and whenever she would have a negative experience, she'd use that as “evidence” to back up the stories she told herself. Confirmation bias is what's happening. In early recovery, we do things that we regret under the influence of alcohol. You lose the ability to choose how much you will drink or not. Why after 27 years sober Arlina continues to work daily on emotional regulation. What is the Default Mode Network & how we can rewire our brain in order to make better decisions. Arlina walks us through a writing exercise on how to identify and change your irrational beliefs. Key Quotes: “I just put a bunch of drugs & alcohol in my brain and I'm going to use that broke *ss tool to make decisions for my entire life…” “Question your beliefs because a lot of times they're not rooted in truth.” RESOURCES MENTIONED A.I.R. In this episode I speak with Anatta Campbell who is the author of The Ordinary Buddha: Stories of Awakening. In her book she interviews individuals who have had spiritual awakening or enlightenment experiences, including the spiritual teachers Bryon Katie and Adyashanti. In our conversation we discuss what spiritual awakening is, her own spiritual experience of awakening, and discovering who we really are. Anatta also talks about her experience being part of the controversial spiritual community Rajneeshpuram, led by Osho, which was the focus of the Netflix documentary series Wild Wild Country. Welcome to today's episode on Be Your Own Coach: 3 Ways to Turnaround Your Mindset and Suffer Less. Have you ever thought to yourself, "They (student) just need to try harder! She (parent) needs to be a better parent. He (colleague) isn't doing his job." You know these thoughts aren't doing anyone any good, but you don't know how to get them out of your head. We get it. All of those shoulds and superlatives can cloud our thinking. We might even do the work of questioning our thoughts and accepting them, but we still feel stuck and don't know how to turn our mindset around. If you're also realizing that thought like, “My colleague never listens to me!” is affecting you, but you don't know what to do about it, we've got you! Today, we have 3 specific ways to turn around your mindset and suffer less. If you haven't listened to our last episode on the Life-Changing Magic of Questioning Your Thoughts (S2E29), make sure you do that first. This episode can be listened to on its own, but it will be more powerful if built upon the learning and action from last week. We will be sharing, practicing, and giving story-filled examples around the ways we coach ourselves to turn our mindsets around. The inspiration for this episode comes from Bryon Katie's process called The Work but again, we will put our Marigold Force twist on things through the lens of educators. Have you ever had thoughts filled with “should”s? “They should be doing their job. My students should just listen the first time. These families should realize that I'm exhausted and that I don't need to get 100 emails about the same thing!” What about our superlative thoughts? “ I never can get this done on time. My students never listen to the feedback I give them. My colleagues always are late to our meetings!” You are not alone with these feelings. Today, we will be talking about the magical power of questioning yourself. The inspiration for this episode comes from Bryon Katie's process called The Work but as always we will put our Marigold Force twist on things through the lens of educators. He decidido yo misma, darme ese nombramiento especial. Sat atop a Welsh mountain in 2007 in a moment of depression and despair, Chris Joseph had the first in a series of instances of clarity that would eventually lead him to coaching. On the brink of a meltdown, he knew his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics was no longer serving him. Buddhism, yoga and mediation became the elixir for him and soon he found he couldn't sleep with excitement at the discoveries he was making. His life changed when he trained to become a mindfulness teacher with Breathworks, and Chris went on to complete his Ph.D. and launch his first coaching practice. But it wasn't a success and in the end he gave it up. His extraordinary journey includes a multitude of highs and lows, from making £10,000 a month in passive income to losing it all to a fraudulent trader. Now he's back coaching and headed for a seven-figure year with his highly successful practice. In this episode, we talk about:Where his practice went wrong the first time round. Why the inner work is so important - understanding that you can only take people as far as you can go yourself. Why a true insight always comes packaged with an action - an ‘outsight' or an ‘outer action'.How to invite an individual to coaching - how to make it feel like a gift to the individual and not a request for yourself.Alongside the practical we get into some big topics: death, impermanence, the importance of play and the effects of all these on our lives. And it is a total pleasure to be in a space with Chris' beautiful open-heartedness.For more information about Chris, visit www.christopherjoseph.co.uk, find him on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/drchrisjoseph/ or on Facebook: www.facebook.com/chrisjoseph.uk/ For information about Robbie's wider work and writing, visit www.robbieswalecoaching.com.Music by My Good Man William listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4KmeQUcTbeE31uFynHQLQgTo support the Coach's Journey, visit www.patreon.com/thecoachsjourney and to join the Coach's Journey Community visit www.thecoachsjourney.com/communityThings and people we mentioned (that you might be interested in):~8: Rich Waterman: https://www.richwaterman.com/ ~10: The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt: https://www.happinesshypothesis.com/~12: Michael Neill: https://www.michaelneill.org/~12: Dick Bettinger: http://3principlesmentoring.com/index.html ~12: Sydney Banks: https://sydbanks.com/~14: Breathworks: https://www.breathworks-mindfulness.org.uk/~20: Unleash the Power Within with Tony Robbins: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/events/unleash-the-power-within/ ~25: Unleash the Power Within with Tony Robbins: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/events/unleash-the-power-within/~26: The Coaching Academy: https://www.the-coaching-academy.com~26: Richard Bandler: https://richardbandler.com~26: John LaValle: https://www.nlplifetraining.com/trainers/john-lavalle~26: The Prosperous Coach by Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prosperous-Coach-Increase-Income-Clients/dp/1600250300 ~26: Breathworks: https://www.breathworks-mindfulness.org.uk/~27: Simon Coulson: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prosperous-Coach-Increase-Income-Clients/dp/1600250300~27: Peter Thompson: https://peterthomson.com/ ~27: Michael Neill: https://www.michaelneill.org/ ~27: Project Kairos with Rich Litvin: https://richlitvin.com/kairos/~30: Steve Hardison video: https://youtu.be/0Tine-9dz-Y~32: Rich Waterman: https://www.richwaterman.com/ ~33: Three Principles: https://threeprinciplesfoundation.org/ ~33: Eckhart Tolle: https://eckharttolle.com/ ~33: Bryon Katie: https://thework.com/ ~33: The Coaching Academy: https://www.the-coaching-academy.com~33: Tony Robbins: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/ ~37: Crazy Good by Steve Chandler: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1600250343/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_JMAKFbP0PYJ7E ~43: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield and Shawn Coyne: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1936891026/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_xlBKFbG7XW11B~50: Loom: https://www.loom.com~1.11: Cardiff University: https://www.cardiff.ac.uk ~1.29: Wealth Warrior by Steve Chandler: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1600250408/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EFCKFbY9VGH7M~1.29: Time Warrior by Steve Chandler: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1600250378/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_kICKFbB90WCJN~1.29: The Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1608681890/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_8RCKFbEEPT36Y~1.31: The Meaning Revolution by Fred Kofman : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1524760730/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_BsSKFbKHQ773N~1.45: Chris's contact details: email address: chris@christopherjoseph.co.uk, LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/drchrisjoseph/, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chrisjoseph.uk/~1.50: Steve Hardison: https://theultimatecoach.com/
Lily helps her clients examine the reasons they may be experiencing pain in their body by not only listening to them but also by helping them examine their pain through a method called “Access Bars Treatment”. Using this type of treatment modality allows a client to change many aspects of their life. Sleep, weight, sex life, anxiety, stress, headaches, lower back issues and overall body tension can be addressed successfully using “The Access Bars” method. The “bars” correspond to different points on the head. These points relate to both positive and negative emotions and thoughts such as joy, control issues, calmness, frustration, stress and even gratitude. If there is stagnation or congestion in these areas, it can impact the person's health. Helping the person look at their thoughts while doing acupressure or acupuncture can then begin to alleviate the painful condition the individual has developed over time.Lily also shared information about Bryon Katie whose work can be found at www.thework.org Bryon Katie has videos and worksheets available on this website to help a person sort through their thoughts which might be preventing them from living their best life. For further consultation with Lily Wu, please go to www.loaacupuncture.com
On today’s episode, I am talking about the turnaround, an easy way to get some perspective on whatever is bugging you. This is taken from The Work of Bryon Katie. She does four questions and a turnaround. So today what we are talking about is the turnaround. It is kind of like playing opposite day with your thoughts. The purpose of the turnaround is to get perspective and sometimes that perspective is so powerful it just instantly releases all of the weight of whatever you have been carrying around. In This Episode: [01:19] So today what we are talking about is the turnaround. It is kind of like playing opposite day with your thoughts. [01:37] ANNOUNCEMENT: I am launching an ask me anything for you (my podcast listeners). Submit your question here. [02:38] The purpose of the turnaround is to get perspective and sometimes that perspective is so powerful it just instantly releases all of the weight of whatever you have been carrying around. [03:08] it can help you recognize that your thoughts are optional. [03:50] Some turnarounds will be very obvious for you but some will actually be pretty challenging to figure out the opposite thought that can give you the most power. [04:32] Start by doing a brain dump on paper of something that is bugging you right now. [05:07] The difference between a brain dump and a journal entry is that you want to give every thought that you have its own line like a list. Keep asking why. Give your brain a chance to get it all out. [05:15] If there isn’t something specific that’s bothering you but you are just feeling generally anxious or frustrated. Then you want to start by asking yourself how you are feeling right now. Then you will list each emotion that comes up. Then you ask why you are feeling that way. [07:42] Next you will grab another piece of paper and you are going to rewrite your same thought as a turnaround. [08:51] Linsi shares turnaround examples when frustrated with other people. [09:25] When you are doing the turnaround thought you want to look at what is really painful behind the thought itself. It is more about restating to yourself in a way that feels empowering instead of painful. [11:31] The turnaround puts you back in the driver’s seat, it gives you ownership over what’s going on, and it helps you actually see that everything you are thinking about someone or something else is ultimately something you are thinking about yourself. [11:54] When Linsi starts to recognize that she is having judgments about herself and others she decides ultimately that her main goal is to drop the judgment. [12:24] The turnaround is such a powerful tool to help us get back to the place where we are really being the brilliant business owner and person we can be and want to be. Questions to Ask: What’s bothering me right now? Who is bothering me right now? Why is that bothering me? What are they doing that is bothering me? What do I wish was different? How am I feeling right now? Why am I feeling this way? Connect with Linsi: Linsi’s Website Be Brilliant in Your Business Podcast Website Linsi on Instagram Schedule a Free Session

“Could it be that all along, we have lived the life we should have lived and that everything we’ve done has been what we should have done.” -Byron KatieI was supposed to attend a workshop by Bryon Katie in June. I've enjoyed listening to and reading about her teaching. This is an episode on Byron Katie's teachings and the concept of Qadar in Islam. It is interesting to explore thoughts especially given the uncertainty of today's world.

In today's Sunday sermon, We are giving up way too much of our creative powers because of the illusions that we live in related to what other people should or should not be doing in our lives. When we learn to let go of the need to control others and learn to love exactly what is, we find more peace and release our creative potential. What you will hear in this episode: The Process of Shifting involves the following: Step one: Create Space… What or who has triggered me to feel this way? Why am I experiencing this emotion? What part of this is mine? If I could yell at this individual, what would I say right now? If you could force this person to think, feel, do, or say something, what would it be? What is it about this situation that I don't ever want to experience again? Learning to express yourself in a healthy way allows me to begin calming down. Step two: Recognize The Story What is the belief system that is creating this experience? In this moment, if I had to put all of my emotions into a single trigger statement, what would it be? What is the story I am telling myself that is created by the trigger? Is the story true? If I was consciousness, would it really be true? The answer is always no here. What feelings come up for you when you believe that story is true? What specific thoughts or actions derive from that feeling? What do you want in this moment for you, for them, and for both of you? What may be possible for you in this situation if the story is false? Step Three: Gain Your Power and Shift List out the original story. Shift one is Put yourself as the subject. You replace the person you are upset at. How could that be true? (Be childlike here) List out 3 or so reasons that it could be true. Shift to the opposite as the 2nd shift. How can you justify the opposite of what your original story was? Shift three is changing the belief into what you want most. Then, justify how this can be true. Step 4: Choose what you want. You would say, “I am choosing…” This is looking through what you have written out and choosing the story that serves you best. What are committed to doing in the next 48 hours? (The AJ Twist) Step 5: Integrate the Lesson What have you learned form the situation about yourself? If it is applicable, how does the lesson apply to my health, wealth, relationships, and core identity? Luscious Leadership with Danna Lewis Radio Show Discover the secret unseen predictors of abuse and empower yourself to step into a new world of possibilities. Please join Danna with her guest, author Grace Hart, for a special episode of Disrupt DV during domestic violence awareness month. Grace Hart grew up in mainstream society, living a conventional life until a car accident in her late teens changed everything. She was revived from clinically dead and rushed to hospital in a critical condition, including 48 broken bones. She also had a Near Death Experience...and woke up psychic. It took three years of rehabilitation before she could walk normally again, and a lot longer to learn how to drive her new, unconventional reality. Ever since that fateful day, she's been able to perceive energies – she can see, hear and speak to energies, and has a capacity to create change in bodies. In her efforts to enhance her life and make sense of it all, she started reading Wayne Dyer's books, which catalysed and clarified her new direction. Since then she went on to discover and utilise the work of many other world renowned way showers, authors and spiritual teachers – mainly Eckhart Tolle, Abraham-Hicks, Bryon Katie, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Doreen Virtue, Gary Douglas and Dr. Dain Heer. She has worked as a clairvoyant medium on and off since 1989, and has read for famous actors and politicians. While in Singapore giving a presentation on her book 'The Peacemaker's Way', she had an extraordinary experience with the Dalai Lama's official bowl players, who approached her and gifted her with a set of their Tibetan singing bowls, opening up a new direction with therapeutic sound. (More of that story below). She has since then produced CDs of soothing, therapeutic, meditative music and has mesmerised many with her angelic voice. She has also studied for a counselling degree and qualified as a sand tray/expressive therapist (a recognised therapy) and an Access Consciousness Facilitator. She has three children – two with disabilities – and for many years managed a blended family of seven (five with disabilities) ...and in amongst all that also had a late term miscarriage. She has traveled the world, met many famous people, and also understands what it's like to be a pensioner, a carer and a single mum, and to have health issues, weight issues and extreme physical pain. Empowered Relationship Podcast: Your Relationship Resource And Guide
Guest Byron Katie: In 1986, at the bottom of a ten-year spiral into depression, rage, and self-loathing, Byron Katie woke up one morning to a state of constant joy that has never left her. She realized that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn’t suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Her simple yet powerful process of inquiry is called The Work. The Work consists of four questions and the turnarounds, which are a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. When you question a thought, you see around it to the choices beyond suffering. Katie has been bringing The Work to millions of people for more than thirty years. Her public events, weekend workshops, five-day intensives, nine-day School for The Work, and 28-day residential Turnaround House have brought freedom to people all over the world. Byron Katie’s books include the bestselling Loving What Is, I Need Your Love—Is That True?, A Thousand Names for Joy, and A Mind at Home with Itself. For more information, visit thework.com. In this episode, Bryon Katie and Dr. Jessica Higgins discuss: The source of suffering is often what you are thinking and believing in any situation. Our judgments come between connection. The Work is a self-inquiry process to identify your thoughts, thinking, and believing; and then to question them through the Four Questions and Turnarounds. Our ego takes over our lives when are being our thoughts and thinking without self-inquiry. The Work is a meditative process, which includes getting still and getting in touch with your fullter experience. It takes courage to question our thinking, thoughts, and believing, to see our part, and look at ourselves from a different perspective. We are more powerful that what we are thinking or believing. The Work calls on us to take responsibility for our actions, thinking and life. The Work allows us to wake up to our true reality of our nature. Takeaways: With The Work, we can heal ourselves, and when we meet the next human being, we are more aware and enlightened to ourselves. There may only be six questions on the worksheet. However, it may take a week, or it might take two weeks, but go deeply. The Work is an inquiry; it’s a way to identify the thought that you’re thinking and believing in an actual situation in the past or situations that you imagine will happen in the future. The situations that you may fear or dread. "If I can get free, then anyone can get free, it’s a process. We either believe our thoughts, or we question them, there is no other choice." — Byron Katie Mentioned: Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet (Byron Katie’s website) Scroll down to the bottom or the page. “The Work" is a simple yet profound process created by spiritual teacher Byron Katie involving four questions and three turnaround statements. This practice has the power to bring huge amounts of relief by giving us the space to see things differently and create more expansive vistas of understanding why things are the way they are. "Uncomfortable feelings are clear reminders that we've attached to something that may not be true for us. They are gifts that let us know it's time to identify the stressful thoughts and do The Work." - Byron Katie
Hello lovely, Here we are ep#5. How are you? Thanks for tuning in. Holy heck, I love that you are taking the time to listen. ♡ This week: an extra-special podcast review I had to share, a quick gratitude re-cap/reminder.... On my mind: accepting what is... (so powerful) On the page: It's time to write. Let's dive into writing our dreams...small, big, amazing, (possibly) impossible... onto the page. This is a 'just for fun' exercise. It's time to re-connect to your dreams. I wonder, what dreamy-dreams will flood onto your page this week! Be warned, your brain may not love your dreamy-dreams (at first). The brain likes to be efficient, safe and comfortable. It's content thinking the same thoughts, doing the same things, on REPEAT. Good news is, you are not your brain. Let's get those thoughts (and maybe blocks) out of your head and onto the page so you actually take a look at what's happening up there. Awareness is the first step to making change. Exciting stuff. So glad you are here. xxx A thought is harmless unless we believe it. It’s not our thoughts, but our attachment to our thoughts, that causes suffering. Attaching to a thought means believing that it’s true, without inquiring. A belief is a thought that we’ve been attaching to, often for years." – Bryon Katie
Take a walk with me on this 40th episode as I tell you why the points do not matter, the work of Bryon Katie, understanding perspective (especially from a sleeping dog named Lassie), the power of living a declaration and how you occur to yourself, how relationship correlates to how you occur to others, the defintion of me vs Me, and a few other topics over the next 90 minutes.Tonight a bit of jealous reared it's ugly head as I compared myself to another's podcast. There were times when I would personally get triggered. When I'm being an immature version of myself (being the me with a lowercase m), I am all up in my ego. I am the me that is immature, selfish, egotistical, wanting to be right, wanting to be right, wanting to look good, wanting to make my ego be gratified and feel good. I am the version of me that is NOT paid more to just be me. I don't want to put more of my energy into lowercase me. That's the me, I want to identify with less and less and less and the me that I want to be because I can be who I want to be. I can create the version of me that has the capital M. The same is true for you. Be the You that is Paid More. The end result of this podcast is that nothing I say will matter unless I take action. The same is true for you listening to this podcast. You must take actions to get results in your life. We both have the power to be versions of ourselves that get PAID MORE.My call to action for all of those who listened to my 40th episode; please send me a comment on the value you obtained or forward this on to others if you found value. You can reach me at mebeingme.live, Instagram or mebeingmelive@gmail.com.Thank you for being on this journey with me. There is more to come. Love P

" If your happiness depends on your child being happy, that makes them your hostage." - Bryon Katie I use to hate Mother's Day. So many expectations from others and myself on what exactly the day should look like. This left me miserable, angry and completely out of touch with how I wanted to feel. These days I see Mother's Day as an opportunity to celebrate myself and the other women who have made an impact on my life, no strings attached. What are you doing this year to celebrate yourself without any expectations from others? Have a personal questions? Have you ever thought that turning your life around could be as easy as questioning your thoughts? This week we look at the work of Bryon Katie — questioning our thoughts to see what perceptions might be limiting us and keeping us from seeing the whole picture. We discuss how the suffering in our minds is optional, and how our conditioned “programs" keep us out of the perfect moment of the here and now. And, we also sing badly for your enjoyment! This, and more, in this week’s CREATE podcast...
On today's episode, I talk about my favorite Bryon Katie saying, "we teach people how to teach us." and how you can start to feel in alignment in your relationships (including parenting). What does this mean? Boundaries. Healthy, happy people, have healthy boundaries and often this is a skill that doesn't come naturally to most. RESOURCES: Apply today - for the group coaching program.
