My client, Monica, is terrified for her adult daughter, who is taking prescribed meds. Monica and her entire family are all moving through a very difficult situation as a family unit. I have included Monica's Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet below for those of you who want to follow the thoughts above on Monica's Worksheet that are causing her suffering.   Worksheet: 1. My daughter shouldn't take medication. She should handle life without medical help. 2. I want my daughter to go through life without any medications. 3. She should go through life without meds and use a strong inside. 4. I need her to go through life the strong way that I did. 5. She is weak, lost, addicted, lost her mind, and can be even worse than she is now. 6. I don't ever want to see my daughter so depressed and taking medication.   You can download your own Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet on TheWork.com. Byron Katie has one job: to show people how to stop suffering. When Katie appears, lives change. In 1986, at the bottom of a 10-year spiral into depression, rage, and self-loathing, Katie woke up one morning to a state of constant joy that has never left her. She realized that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn't suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Her simple yet powerful process of inquiry is called The Work. The Work consists of four questions and the turnarounds, which are a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. When you question a thought, you see around it to the choices beyond suffering. Katie has been bringing The Work to millions of people for more than 20 years. Her free public events, weekend workshops, nine-day School for The Work, and 28-day residential Turnaround House have brought freedom to people all over the world. The Four Questions in The Work Are: Is it true? Can you absolutely know that it's true? How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought? Who would you be without the thought? In today's episode, we chat with Janet Attwood, a bestselling author with more than 20 books under her name. She is also a passion, fulfillment, and creative coach, a Transcendental Meditation teacher, and an Ayurveda believer. Janet is the creator ofhttps://www.thepassiontest.com/ ( the “Passion Test)” -- which is both a test and book that helps you discover your true passion and really start living your life's purpose. In addition, she has expanded the Passion Test to different areas of life including: Passion Test for kids & teens, and the Passion Test for business.  She followed up with “https://www.amazon.com/Your-Hidden-Riches-Unleashing-Meaning-ebook/dp/B00JYWSXIG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=17J0NIMW6511G&dchild=1&keywords=janet+attwood&qid=1635156726&qsid=134-1642303-9605755&s=digital-text&sprefix=janet+attwood%2Cdigital-text%2C466&sr=1-8&sres=B000WJOWLM%2CB01410MMT6%2CB018HDTZL6%2CB0921LHTH7%2CB08MBBVNVV%2CB06XDHNWSH%2CB073ZR22BB%2CB00JYWSXIG%2CB00EQOZ36C%2CB07V7HZ3XY%2CB00WH77KMK%2CB00DYBSG4E%2CB00WL3D4KM%2CB004A159GA%2CB01M8QYCP7%2CB073H53H81 (Your Hidden Riches:) Unleashing your power of rituals to create a life of meaning and purpose.” Janet says the Passion Test enables individuals to realize that they're not just going through this world on automatic, but they can be able to tap into their genius and really use their creativity to bring out their gifts so that they can share them with the world. It helps you to become a manifestation magnet.  In this conversation, Janet gives us a toolkit on how to be creative, what to do when you're dealing with blockers of creativity and how to get rid of limiting beliefs about yourself so as to keep the passion alive and burning. Here is what works for her: The first is Transcendental meditation, where she uses rituals to enhance her life and refuel. This relies heavily on meditation.  The second is undoing her limiting belief- this is where she changes what she puts her mind to focus on while using positive words when talking to herself. The third is https://thework.com/ (TheWork), based on a process developed by Katie Byron. This is a process of self-inquiry that allows you to access the wisdom that lives within you by asking yourself the “Four Questions and a Turnaround method” Fourth, Janet uses the https://www.amazon.com/Maro-Up-Secret-Success-Arigato-ebook/dp/B018HDTZL6 (Maro-Up process )which she also wrote a book on. Here, Janet uses the 10 principles of Wahei Takeda, the Japanese Warren Buffet, who used the Maro-Up teachings of gratitude to make his fortune and live his life. Lastly, find a mentor.  A mentor who can untangle and undo the beliefs that you have about your inability to shine a light on your greatness and inspire transformation through love.  In summary, through Janet's years of Meditation practice, developing the Passion Tests which have been used by millions of people and written bestsellers, Janet believes that in order to live a high level of creativity,  we must share our lovely gifts with the world, no matter what it is, because that's the path to happiness.  Janets Website: https://www.thepassiontest.com/ (The Passion Test) Maro-Up:https://www.amazon.com/Maro-Up-Secret-Success-Arigato-ebook/dp/B018HDTZL6 ( Maro Up: The Secret to Success Begins with Arigato: Wisdom from the “Warren Buffet of Japan) Your hidden riches: https://www.amazon.com/Your-Hidden-Riches-Unleashing-Meaning-ebook/dp/B00JYWSXIG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=17J0NIMW6511G&dchild=1&keywords=janet+attwood&qid=1635156726&qsid=134-1642303-9605755&s=digital-text&sprefix=janet+attwood%2Cdigital-text%2C466&sr=1-8&sres=B000WJOWLM%2CB01410MMT6%2CB018HDTZL6%2CB0921LHTH7%2CB08MBBVNVV%2CB06XDHNWSH%2CB073ZR22BB%2CB00JYWSXIG%2CB00EQOZ36C%2CB07V7HZ3XY%2CB00WH77KMK%2CB00DYBSG4E%2CB00WL3D4KM%2CB004A159GA%2CB01M8QYCP7%2CB073H53H81 (Your Hidden Riches, unleashing the power of rituals to create a life of...

BUMM! Doch irgendwo IST SIE! In 1986, at the bottom of a ten-year spiral into depression, rage, and self-loathing, Byron Katie woke up one morning to a state of constant joy that has never left her. She realized that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn’t suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Her simple yet powerful process of inquiry is called The Work. Eckhart Tolle says, “Byron Katie’s Work is a great blessing for our planet.” Time magazine calls Katie “a spiritual innovator for the new millennium.” The Work consists of four questions and the turnarounds, which are a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. When you question a thought, you see around it to the choices beyond suffering. Katie has been bringing The Work to millions of people for more than thirty years. Her public events, weekend workshops, five-day intensives, nine-day School for The Work, and 28-day residential Turnaround House have brought freedom to people all over the world. Byron Katie’s books include the bestselling Loving What Is, I Need Your Love—Is That True?, A Thousand Names for Joy, and A Mind at Home with Itself. For more information, visit thework.com. #5- How to Detect Diet Culture

Diet culture has been likened to the air we breathe. A set of beliefs that’s so embedded in our culture that we don’t even recognize them.  Tara shares how she recognized diet culture. She used Byron Katie’s “The Work” by examining the question that was always running through her mind “I need to lose weight”. By investigating this stressful thought, Tara realized she had internalized diet culture.  When considering just some of the ways diet culture shows up in our lives, we can start to recognize it in our TV screens, magazines and social media accounts. We can also hear diet culture’s whispers when we hear “you look great” when someone has lost weight.  The most important thing we can do in our own relationship with food is to recognize diet culture as the origin of the thought “I need to lose weight”. We believe that thought because diet culture tells us that happiness and success comes in a thin body.  Christy Harrison’s definition of diet culture is so comprehensive. You can find it here.  Tara also mentions Annie Grace’s This Naked Mind. Annie Grace shares how confirmation bias affirms internal beliefs around drinking alcohol.  Identifying diet culture helps you to understand where the stressful thoughts around the need for weight loss came from. You’ve been given this message over and over. Once you can put the blame where it belongs, without needing to blame yourself, you can dissolve the belief that your body needs to be different in order for you to be happy.  You can find more about Byron Katie here. https://thework.com/

Today's guest on "The Process" is the author of the book “How to End the Stories that Screw Up Your Life”, Ernest Svendsen. In our brains we tell many, often contradictory, stories about who it is that we are. Many of these stories cause us anxiety, anger, frustration, jealousy, and a host of other negative feelings. But what if they're not really true? And what if there were an actionable system that allowed us to turn those stories into dust so that we could dramatically reduce our own internal suffering?Good news, there is! It's called “The Work of Byron Katie”, it's freely available on the world wide web at http://thework.com/en/do-work and it's at the core of Ernest's book. In our conversation, you'll learn:- The only capital T truth that Ernest has found in the world -->Why vulnerability is often the strongest position we can take -->The process and benefits of regular self-inquiry -->And much more. Before I “without any further ado”, I just want to take a moment to mention how special this interview was to me. In our interview Ernest told me he regularly finds himself feeling love for the strangers he meets in his day-to-day life at coffee shops, restaurants, etc.And I can say that, without a doubt, despite the fact Ernest and I were were thousands of miles away from one another and communicating through a computer screen and microphone, I could tangibly feel Ernest's immense love.Which to me was powerful and memorable, and it's my sincerest hope that you feel it to.Because a little more love makes the world a much better place.Without any further ado, here's my conversation with Ernest Svendsen.Join my email newsletter at: http://www.MentallyInvincible.com/TheProcessFollow @the_process_podcast on InstagramReach out to me directly at brad@mentallyinvincible.com

A Mind At Home With Itself with Byron KatieByron Katie, founder of The Work, has one job: to teach people how to end their own suffering. As she guides people through the powerful process of inquiry she calls The Work, they find that their stressful beliefs—about life, other people, or themselves—radically shift and their lives are changed forever. Based on Byron Katie's direct experience of how suffering is created and ended, The Work is an astonishingly simple process, accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, and requires nothing more than a pen, paper, and an open mind. Through this process, anyone can learn to trace unhappiness to its source and deal with it there. Katie (as everyone calls her) not only shows us that all the problems in the world originate in our thinking: she gives us the tool to open our minds and set ourselves free. http://thework.com/enFor more show information visitwww.

Loving What Is with Byron Katie Byron Katie, founder of The Work, has one job: to teach people how to end their own suffering. As she guides people through the powerful process of inquiry she calls The Work, they find that their stressful beliefs—about life, other people, or themselves—radically shift and their lives are changed forever. Based on Byron Katie’s direct experience of how suffering is created and ended, The Work is an astonishingly simple process, accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, and requires nothing more than a pen, paper, and an open mind. Through this process, anyone can learn to trace unhappiness to its source and deal with it there. Katie (as everyone calls her) not only shows us that all the problems in the world originate in our thinking: she gives us the tool to open our minds and set ourselves free. http://thework.com/enAnimal Frequency with Melissa Alvarez Melissa Alvarez is a bestselling, award winning author who has written ten books and nearly five hundred articles on self-help, spirituality and wellness. Podcast 001 – 8.

Sei wieder dabei! Katie (as everyone calls her) woke up out of thought in 1986, and in this frank discussion she describes the process she experienced, whilst also sharing many gems for those of us who remain half-asleep. Since I spoke with Katie, my identity has virtually dissolved, and the laughter and silence continues to grow, I hope listening is just as helpful to you.
