S2 Ep5 It's Monday! A healthy dose of true crime brought to you by the NFTF girls. This week Alyssa covers the disturbing consensual murder of Bernd-Jürgen Armando. In the second half, Summer tells you about the murderous Michigan affair between Cathy Wood and Gwendolyn Graham. Remember, this podcast is not for the faint! Listener discretion is advised.
In this weeks episode Christine shares the story of the most extreme haunted house in the United States McKamey Manor in Tennessee. Is it just an extreme haunted house or a legal torture chamber? Tayler tells the story of the Lethal Lovers Gwendolyn Graham and Cathy Wood the women who built their relationship on murdering elderly women at the place of work in a care facility. Spank you for listening. Do less God bless. Gloom & Bloom out!
Cathy Wood went from shut-in to set-it-off. Drunken orgies, cruel pranks, merciless bullying, elder abuse, child abuse and debauchery at the nursing home night shift. Gwen Graham hooked up with Cathy like many other ladies working at Alpine Manor and things escalated brutally. Part 1 of 2. HANetf founder and co-CEO Hector McNeil tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about shifting trends in the exchange-traded fund (ETF) market in the United States, indicating a big move towards active management within ETFs. Despite the European market lagging behind the US by three to five years, with a significant gap in market size—$2 trillion in Europe versus $8 trillion in the US—there is a notable increase in the proportion of active ETFs. In the US, approximately 75% of new ETFs are active, issued by major firms and new players like Ark's Cathy Wood, marking a significant growth area. This shift towards active ETFs is also reflected in the flow of investments, with active ETFs accounting for 25% of the flows over the last 18 months. McNeil highlighted the evolution of ETFs from passive instruments to including smart beta and now fully active management, especially within the fixed income sector. The trend towards transparency, despite initial concerns, has become more accepted, leading to increased interest from asset managers in active ETFs. He said HANetf's white label ETF service has seen a rise in enquiries from active managers, indicating a broader acceptance and integration of active strategies within the ETF framework. Examples of strategies for these new active ETFs range from global equity with specific screens, like Shariah compliance, to niche areas such as convertible bonds and thematic investments. The discussion also touched on defined outcome ETFs and options-based strategies, showcasing the diversity and innovation within the ETF space. McNeil argues that ETFs offer advantages over mutual funds in terms of technology, liquidity, and access, suggesting a continued shift towards ETFs for a variety of investment strategies. #HanETF #ActiveETFs #ETFMarketTrends #InvestmentInnovation #GlobalEquity #ShariahCompliantInvesting #FixedIncomeETFs #ThematicInvesting #DefinedOutcomeETFs #OptionsBasedStrategies #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

If at all possible, try to divert your attention away from the t-shirts. The first rule of T-Shirt Club is: you do not talk about the damn t-shirts! The larger issue at hand isn't Freddy trying to revive the puffer style from the 1980s, it's the onerous regulations placed on private funds, particularly in light of the absurd proclamations frequently spewed by Cathy Wood. On a lighter note, does anyone remember the childhood dream of becoming an astronaut? Carson shares a few excerpts from a NYT article that might make you reconsider. South Korea demonstrates its lack of creativity with yet another short selling ban. The incels at ApeFest discover a whole new meaning behind 'laser eyes.' Freddy has another business idea for football hooligans-in-training, but being English and all, he's forgiven for not knowing that axe throwing is a Loggersport that's been around since the 1940s. And Carson pushes back against the incompetence of yet another law professor.

BRT S04 EP18 (180) 4-30-2023 – Wealth for Life Teach Your kids about Wealth $ to Build a Master Family Dynasty What We Learned This Week Wealthy do things differently – all their money is not invested in Stocks 99% of financial advice is just stocks. Most advisers are really stock sales people. It's a butcher analogy. What is the butcher going to recommend? Meat. Baby Boomers are getting older and they will be passing Billions of dollars & Trillions $. Money that will be passing to children and heirs. Businesses that may be passed on. Estimated that 70% of Families Lose their wealth by 2nd Generation You want wealth to continue into the next generation. Not legacy, create a dynasty. Create frameworks for a thriving family now and for generations. Model and Teach Success. Involve kids in the process of building the business and investing. Taxes are guaranteed to drain wealth. If you can pay a 20% tax rate versus 40% you will have a lot more money working for you. Co-Host: Denver Nowicz, President - Wealth For Life http://wealthforlife.net/ https://twitter.com/denvernowicz Denver is an advisor with nearly 20 years experience working with clients in investments and insurance, designing retirement plans with a combo of both. He takes us through different strategies for clients to get the best allocations for their money over the long term. It is the Combo Strategy of both Offense and Defense, the synergy of the mix, not ‘All or Nothing'. Notes: Master Family Dynasty The conventional wisdom is over the long term the market goes up. S&P average is 8% over the last 75 to 100 years. If looking a long enough timeline the market does go up. Short term the market is up and down and very volatile. Some of the best investors like Cathy Wood and ARK Invest or the Tiger 21 club were beat up in 2022. Stocks are not the only asset class. One thing retirement plan, buy stocks and if that's one thing, stocks goes up everything will be fine. You want to diversify into different assets. Wealthy people do it differently. If you use a diagram of a pyramid it is top-heavy with most people investing in stocks and taking a lot of risk. You want to flip it and diversify assets. You were looking for different types of assets that can lock in profits and pay income streams. Examples of this are business income and real estate. Investment plans are not all black and white. There are good stocks and bad stocks. Zombie companies are examples of bad stocks. Your goal should be to have financial security, a bulletproof financial plan. Think in terms of offence and defense. A defensive strategy would cover 80% of the income needed for your expenses and needs. You do a mix of strategies. 99% of financial advice is just stocks. Most advisers are really stock sales people. It's a butcher analogy. What is the butcher going to recommend? Meat. To a man with a hammer everything looks like a nail. Use some mix of different assets like real estate insurance, annuities for income. There are good annuities and bad annuities. You want to have an advisor with a fiduciary mindset who is really trying to help you with a good business plan. Seg 2 Baby boomers are getting older and they will be passing Billions of dollars if not Trillions $. Money that will be passing to children and heirs. Businesses that may be passed on. A 2022 study projects that wealth transferred through 2045 will total $84.4 trillion—$72.6 trillion in assets will be transferred to heirs, while $11.9 trillion will be donated to charities. Greater than $53 trillion will be transferred from households in the Baby Boomer generation, representing 63% of all transfers. Dec 30, 2022 https://fortune.com/recommends/investing/baby-boomers-average-net-worth/ Not legacy, but think dynasty. Teach your kids about money and wealth regardless if you own a business. Teach your kids your values and beliefs for success. Build frameworks for them to follow. If kids don't know about success and money, then they lose the money they inherit in the next generation. Too often you hear 2nd generations not carrying on the family success. You want wealth to continue into the next generation. Not legacy, create a dynasty. Create frameworks for a thriving family now and for generations. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/generational-wealth%3A-why-do-70-of-families-lose-their-wealth-in-the-2nd-generation-2018-10 Generational Wealth: Why do 70% of Families Lose Their Wealth in the 2nd Generation? It is difficult to get to the top 1% 99% will not get there. If you will get to the top 5%. To do this you must build a culture with values and beliefs, to stay there. Model and teach success. Involve kids in the process of building the business and investing. Teach them about volunteering and giving back to the community. Communicate what it is to be successful. Myth, wealth is spelt overtime. Your peak earning yours or your 40s and 50s. To massively grow wealth he needs strategies like leverage and tax protection. Leverage accelerates wealth. Common example of leverage is he put 25% down but have control of an asset 100% as it grows. Simple analogy as you invest one dollar and have four dollars working for you. Taxes are guaranteed to drain wealth. If you can pay a 20% tax rate versus 40% you will have a lot more money working for you. If you earn more money, this will equal more taxes. W-2 income is punished by taxes. The wealthy of strategies to reduce taxes by 50% or more. The goal is to build tax for you come. 3 to 1 tax free matching uses leverage and builds income. It's the best strategy out there Private foundation is also another strategy where you can build wealth and reduce taxes. Stock market losses hurt you in two ways. You lose money and you lose time. It also can interrupt compounding when you lose money. Compounding is just a law of finance, it can go in both a good direction or the bad direction. Either way it either magnifies gains or losses. The goal to not lose money and have uninterrupted compounding. Acquire assets that harvest profits so you can take gains. While also minimizing losses and taxes. Tiger 21 Club - Follow this super investor group for ideas, and how they diversify their investments. Allocation usually has 25% in real estate, 25% in stocks, 25% in private equity, 10% in cash, and the rest is Bonds or other investments. https://tiger21.com/ 2nd Half Wealth For Life Sampler – Concepts Notes: Beware Taxes! Defense is What You Need vs Offense in Your Investment Gameplan Synergy of Offense / Defense – diversification of income streams, lessen market risk Offense – stocks, crypto, real estate Defense - IUL, Cash Flowing Business, Real estate, bonds, dividend stocks Offense – tactical – hold 15-20 stocks – aka ‘best houses on the block' Tactical Investment Strategy – goal of growth, shift with market sentiment, value to growth or growth to cyclical – active management. 15% beat market, 85% do not. Secular trends – housing, building or energy Index – safe but will not out perform market, just bought off shelf. Index has Market Risk and Zombie Co. problem. Cash = bad, gets eaten up by inflation = Inflation risk Stock market – good at growth, but inefficient on income, hard to capture the gains “One Thing” Retirement Plan – 401K and stocks, hope it goes up and no volatility (market risk). 90% of people are on this plan. Build Assets – or create assets, like a digital brand Never go back to Vegas with scared money. Lose $, then chasing losses Combine offensive and defensive strategies Defense – wins championships, stable. Finances are stable, allows you to take risks IUL, CF business. During bad market, wait for stocks to rebound and pull money from IUL or business. Visual – what is needed income or expenses – cover basics, then invest other money. Defense = 40% More wealth created, less money in market – money from business or real estate, move money to index strategies. Use financial leverage to increase wealth. Average worker – salary and money in market (401 K). All money is offensive strategy and subject to disruption and market risk. Defense – Tax Protection and Tax Buckets 3 taxed, tax free, tax deferred Full Show: HERE Assets – Appreciating vs. Harvesting Assets: Appreciating vs. Harvesting There are many different Assets you can invest in. Common asset classes are Stocks, Bonds, Gold & Real Estate. There are Alternative assets like Crypto, Art, Private Equity, etc. The classic idea is you buy an asset as an investment with the idea it will appreciate over time so it is worth more when you sell it. Buy low, sell high. It also may act as a hedge vs inflation. Instead of having your money sit in cash, and lose money to inflation, you purchase an asset that goes up in value more than inflation. What is rarely discussed is the concept of Appreciating Assets vs. Harvesting Assets. What's the difference? Appreciating Assets are the assets mentioned above, where the plan is to buy low, wait for the appreciation, then sell high. You do not capture the gains until you sell. You gain value on paper, but if you wait too long to sell, you could miss the appreciation. Likewise if they lose value but you do not sell, then only a paper loss. Stocks are a classic example. 'If I just sold last month, I would have made 25%, instead of 15%.' You have to time it right. Other examples are Gold, Art, most Crypto, certain types of Real Estate (Land for example with nothing build on it yet). These assets are only valuable when they appreciate, and if you sell at the right time. Harvesting Assets are assets that get interest, or give off profits, or cash flow. You are able to capture some of the gains from the asset. Examples are: Rental Real Estate, Bonds, Dividend Stocks, REITs, Covered Call Options, Business - that is profitable, and gives off cash flow, Index Life Insurance *** Asset value can go up or down in the holding period In fact many of the above Harvesting examples can all be both Appreciating and Harvesting Assets: Rental Real Estate, Bonds, Dividend Stocks, REITs, Cash Flowing Business, Index life Insurance, etc. Full Show: HERE Leverage - Get More with Less Effort – How to Scale Wealth Leverage – more with less. Get More with Less Effort. Ex: job with W2 income – no leverage, all based on single effort, cannot multiply. Sole proprietor – limited leverage, one person can do so much. Systems to multiply efforts – can be digital, team, finances Financial leverage – mortgage. Buy house ($250K) for cash, or buy $1 million dollar house, put down same $250K at 25% , now control $1 million asset house. 75% leverage or 3 to 1. What plan will earn you more money? $1 million house appreciates more. Digital Product – create 1 time, sell 100 times Average invest $1 and have $1 earning, wealthy invest $1, borrow $3 and have $4 earning interest Use OPM and deploy in safe ways. To say that Gary Gensler has been a disappointment is an understatement. Cathy Wood, Silvio Micali, and many of us in the Bitcoin and Blockchain ecosystem had high hopes because he understands the technology and its potential. With a Spot Bitcoin ETF still unrealized and the SEC suing anyone involved in Crypto, his “progress” is almost laughable. The collapse of FTX, Celcuis, Block-Fi, and Terra Luna all happened under his watch while his attention was on Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and low-hanging fruit. Part of me thinks it's part of the plan to fleece and ruin retail investors to allow Long-standing Institutions to gain a foothold during a grey area of regulation through enforcement. Now, some lawmakers like Congressman Warren Davidson are calling for his removal and asking him directly about XRP and Ethereum. GOP Majority Whip Tom Emmer is also taking him to the woodshed. Where does this leave Goldman Gary, and why is he dragging his feet on absolute clarity for Digital Assets? This is not investment advice or an endorsement of the securities or property mentioned. In 1987, five elderly women passed away at a nursing home in Grand Rapids, MI. Gwen Graham and Cathy Wood both worked at this nursing home, and the pair had been in a brief relationship at the time. Months later, when Gwen broke up with Cathy and started seeing someone new, Cathy became angry and told her ex-husband that the five women did not die naturally, but that she and Gwen had smothered them as part of a lover's pact that would bind them together for life. Shocked, he reported this to authorities, and two of the five bodies were exhumed. Despite there being zero signs of smothering, a medical examiner changed the manners of death from natural causes to homicide, and a seemingly made up story landed Gwen in prison for life. Maggie talks to Gwen Graham, Corina Hilton, Gwen's sister, and Elizabeth Cole, Gwen's attorney. People always say, don't date your co-workers. Well, this is definitely why! In 1987, five patients at Alpine Manor in Walker, MI were murdered by two lovers, Gwen Graham and Cathy Wood. This case has some twists, turns, and an update from 2020. So why did these women commit this horrific crime? Gwendolyn Graham and her girlfriend Cathy Wood met while working in a nursing home in Grand Rapids, MI. Their volatile relationship escalated as the two shared dark fantasies of committing murders together. They discussed targeting their coworkers at the nursing home, before settling on much more vulnerable victims -- the patients. No one at the home suspected the couple of their attacks, and they may have gotten away with it if it weren't for Cathy bragging about the murders. Ultimately the women were convicted of five counts of homicide thirty three years ago this week. Is Cathy Wood crazy? Some people think so. And, you might think I'm crazy but this week I've actually been investing in Cathie Wood. This week, I've taken a position in ARKK. Here's the real reason why: it's not all about Cathie Wood or ARKK — it's about the similarities between ARKK, MSOS and GDX. I explain how these assets are designed to give us easy access to an investment theme that can be very lucrative. Plus, I'll share how to know when the theme demands our attention. Before you start watching: Set aside your personal feelings about Wood — investing isn't about that. Stop the vitriol. To make money in the stock market you have to see through the hate and instead take responsibility for your investment results. If you're the type of serious investor who values research over ridicule and objective facts over subjective fiction, then get ready for an intelligent, elegant conversation about seeing the links between seemingly dissimilar entities — and learning to profit from your observations and understanding. Cathy Wood has had Elon Musk and Bond King Jeffrey Gundlach join her chorus of voices warning about the risks of deflation. The CPI and the PPI numbers are out, what are they and what do they mean? KKR is partnering with Securitize to release a fund to the market via Blockchain. The tokenized equity is one of the first of it's kind. A railroad strike is about to commence as the National Carriers Conference Commitee and two labor unions have failed to reach a deal. Well, we certainly have an episode for you today, dear listeners. Gwen Graham and Cathy wood, a shittier pair of murderous lesbians I've never seen before. These two may have had real shitty upbringings, I say may because nobody really knows because in addition to their love of murder and bad poetry, they also love lying their gross tits off. Either way, it's still no excuse for, ya know, murder. Anyways, give the episode a listen and join us in making fun of these two garbage monsters, and enjoy!
Weekly Financially Update with Michael Zuber talks about Elon Musk backing out of twitter, talks about Crypto, Bitcoin and Everything about the Real Estate Interest Rate. So Elon Musk is backing out of twitter because Twitter is a broken business model and it's the worst run social media company because they've been banking on fortune 500 customers and they're gonna run away so there's a chance that Twitter doesn't survive until the court rulling and it will take 7 years. And Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank lit up the Twitter Board and Employees basically saying it's the worst company ever. And there's a youtube channel thats been calling a crash. The issue is in September of 2021 interest rate is at lifetime low and he said don't buy. So your payment is now $2,000 more expensive in LA if you listen to this idiot. This guy, because he is more interested in clicks and getting paid than helping people, cost people and the interest rate is what kills you. This guy hurt people and i've had enough. This idiot only thinks about price, Real Estate is not a pricing game it's a payment game and whether you like it or not 2020 and 2021 will be second and third best year in 52 years to buy a home because you could get a 30 year interest rate on your 3%. This moron told people not to buy because there's a crash, he did this because he got paid, he wasn't trying to help people, his selfish motive, broken record and doesn't understand basic math and just horrible. Show Notes: - Twitters never had incentive to frankly produce a real number, they're just courage and they like bots. - The thing that you really need to be watching is the yield curve inverted this week and it's still inverted - You can borrow money for 10years less than you could borrow money for 2 years. - And long term money is supposed to be expensive that short term money. - The good news I don't do youtube for the money. If people stops watching youtube he goes broke. - The other big news, houses in San Francisco were screwed. - Commercial stuffs are collapsing. - Banks are evil. - I have 1% on my net in Crypto and i haven't touch it. - Refused to do stock market because i have business and will invest it in the Real Estate to get a better return. - Rates goin up doesn't really solve shit. - Everybody had to work from home anywhere, everybody is looking for developers and developers are expensive. - We have CPI next week. Above CPI last month - means have not get a peak inflation. - Cathy Wood runs a ETF - index fund, trading tax reasons - Basically had an amazing 2 years and She's the number 1 capital allocator which is hard to do - Now she's losing and she's hurting a lot of people.
So many "financial advisors" will say almost anything to get you to rollover your 401k or 403b to them. The most egregious of those are peddling annuities inside IRAs (a HORRIBLE idea). Will a new Labor Department rule requiring greater disclosure reduce the abuses?A listeners wonders why Don hates Cathy Wood (of Ark Innovation). Finally, Eli has a beef with Grandpa Tom over his 529 plan. You really need to see the video (youtube.com/talkingrealmoney)

Cathy Wood is a warrior. Perhaps with the wrong battle plan. She is a general - intelligent, seasoned, and committed to the cause. Yet, a war of attrition only works if the army (in this case, her investors) have the staying power for prolonged battles with an unknown endpoint. She catches falling knifes, averages down, and counts on her investors having unlimited patience and staying power. To catch a falling knife is a phrase used to describe buying a stock that is falling dramatically in hopes of picking the bottom. It is a risky investment strategy, often akin to gambling. The danger in trying to catch a falling knife is that the stock will continue to drop. The phrase is a metaphor - literally, you may get cut and bloodied trying to catch a falling knife. If one buys a share of stock at $100 and it falls by 50% to $50, it must go up by 100% to reach the breakeven point. Think through that. The Ark Invest Management flagship fund, Ark Innovation ETF (symbol: ARKK), is down 51% year to date (YTD) at $47.13 per share. For comparison purposes, the NASDAQ Composite Index is down 22% YTD.Over the trailing 5 year period the NASDAQ is up 100% and ARKK is up 82%.For her strategy to be successful she must be able to hang on through the lows, purchase additional shares on the way down, and have greater inflows of funds than outflows over the time horizon.Averaging down is an investment strategy, which in the extreme is known as “catching a falling knife”, that involves a stock owner purchasing additional shares of a previously initiated investment after the price has dropped. Assuming the stock turns around, this ensures a lower breakeven point for the stock position and higher gains in dollar terms (compared to the gains if the position was not averaged down).1To reiterate the key elements to a successful strategy of averaging down:The investor has the funds for additional purchases. The stock eventually turns around and moves higher. The investment horizon is long enough to wait for the turnaround.Currently, roughly 50% of S&P 500 stocks are down at least 50% from their highs. Many stocks in the NASDAQ and smaller capitalization indices are down far more.It is not uncommon for a bottom to occur when 70% of all stocks are down 50% or more. We are not there yet. From a technical standpoint, the S&P 500 has retested the +/- 4160 level numerous times. Currently, 4132 and facing the headwinds of inflation, rising interest rates, and war in Europe. Have we seen the bottom, such that the Ark Invest (Cathy Wood) strategy will prove successful? Bear market rallies will occur, but I suspect we have not yet seen the bottom. It’s possible to win the war, but be prepared for battle weariness and uncertainty.Cathie Wood buys stocks like someone who just started yesterday, says Jim CramerCramers comments were aired on February 17, 2022 and are worth watching again. He is not shy of hyperbole nor controversy. Yet, this time he outlines clearly a professional money managers required skillset and where Cathy Wood falls short.Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett describe the current market mania“People who know nothing about stocks being advised by stockbrokers who know even less”, April 30, 2022.Mohamed El-Erian updates thoughts on the interest rate environment - April 29, 2022Today, yields on Treasury Bonds at the 5, 10 and 30 year maturity breached 3%. It is as much a psychological barrier as a practical one given that 30 year mortgage rates are above 5% already. The probability of recession is increasing. The only real questions left are when will the economy slow significantly, how bad will it be, and for how long will it last. The Federal Open Market Committee will meet this week and is widely expected to increase interest rates by 1/2% (50 basis points). My instinct puts the probability of a 50bps rise at 60%, 25bps at 20% or 75bps at 20%.About The Author And Podcast HostFollowing a 25 year career in capital markets, Tom Levine founded Zero Hour Group in 2014.The Los Angeles, California-based firm provides consulting, strategic analysis, and real estate services. Cathy Wood had always been a master manipulator. When she began to work at Alpine Manor, a nursing home, she became the queen, overseeing her employees in cruel games against the patients, hosting wild swinger parties at her house, and getting those fired that she grew tired of. When she met Gwen, she turned her attentions on her and the result was murder. But did Gwen really help her kill the residents of Alpine Manor, or was that ANOTHER one of Cathy's lies?Check out our social media, other FREE projects, soap and more here: https://linktr.ee/cruelteaJoin our patreon where we do an additional episode a week, no ads, and soon? Macro Confessions Part XX III (November 2005) This week the boys kick back. Inspired by Jeff Bezos, and his recent jaunt to St Barts, Hugh reveals his 20 hour fast and avocado regime. He believes that longevity and contrarian investing are bedfellows. Chris shakes his head in disbelief. The conversation is fast paced. Chris has his runner's legs on and wants to know more about what's knocking the capital markets this week. Bonds, not James but the ongoing disturbance in the US Treasury market are discussed. Better to construct an inventory of ideas than trade a market whose long-term trend has yet to change course, cautions Hugh. Check your premises! No new Hedge Fund wannabee can afford to miss this journey from the past to the present day where Hugh reveals his latest macro insights and explains how sometimes he outwitted the market's smartest minds. This week they take on The Raiders of the Lost Ark, via Cathy Wood's flailing tech fund, and ask why markets generate mysticism to create retail super-star managers and why their unwieldy funds often hit the skids.Shorting is this week's focus. Why do it? The epic short squeeze of Volkswagen in the midsts of the chaos of October 2008 is explored. Hugh shares his November 2005 Eclectica investment letter to lavish praise on John Armitage, a legendary British hedge fund manager who stopped shorting entirely. The cautionary tale of AW Jones, the manager who first brought L/S strategies to the public's attention, is examined. You wont believe the paradox of what befell him in 1969.No one is spared. Hugh loved Ken Fisher's book Superstocks but less the man himself. The gloves are well and truly off and at the end Hugh confesses that he's starting to see a re-awakening in the gold sector. Really? Is that possible? Chris' insatiable curiosity remains dialled to the max. Tune-in or be square...
