Meet our guest Victor Varnardo, who discusses his career evolution from a comedian and actor to a producer and entrepreneur. Victor explains that he initially sought to become an actor but pivoted to writing and producing to overcome being typecast due to his albinism, eventually deciding to focus solely on his art and transforming it into a viable business.Throughout the conversation, Victor Varnado shares insights from working with celebrities like Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and highlights the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset for artists, particularly emphasizing the value of gaining people's attention and using platforms like Amazon Direct Publishing for passive income.Victor's career began with roles in major movies alongside stars like Eddie Murphy and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But early success came with a creative ceiling. The entertainment industry saw him through a narrow lens, limiting the roles he was offered. As Victor explains, being "a black person with albinism... that was the extent of how people looked at me and wanted to cast me."Faced with being typecast based on his physical appearance, he made a pivotal decision: he would take control of his own narrative by writing and producing. This path led him from artist to entrepreneur, driven not just by ambition, but by the necessity of building a world that would showcase his talent, not just his difference. He had to transform his creative passion into a sustainable business to gain the freedom he craved."I wanted to spend all day just being creative and following my curiosity. And in order to do that, I had to turn my art into a business."This episode breaks down the core business principles Victor used to make this transition. These lessons offer a simple and understandable blueprint for any aspiring creator looking to build a career on their own terms.Thank you for listening to this episode.Visit Victor's Website @ SupremeRobot.com hereBuy The Anti-Racism Activity Book on Amazon here--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Next Steps for Digital Marketing + SEO Services:>> Need SEO Services? In this episode, Adam shares exclusive updates on REGENT's exciting development roadmap, including the progress of their full-scale prototype and the path towards commercial operations in 2027. He explains how Seagliders combine the speed of aircraft with the accessibility of maritime vessels, operating from existing dock infrastructure and offering passengers affordable, sustainable coastal transport. Listeners will hear how REGENT is: - Expanding its $10 billion order backlog with airlines, ferry operators, and energy companies. - Building strong ecosystem partnerships with regulators, infrastructure providers, and community leaders worldwide. - Unlocking new opportunities in key markets such as Hawaii, South Florida, the U.S. Northeast, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. - Differentiating Seagliders from traditional eVTOL aircraft with lower operating costs, greater passenger capacity, and synergies for multimodal transport at ports. Adam also dives into the importance of regulatory engagement with the U.S. Coast Guard and Lloyd's Register, REGENT's customer training programs, and how Seagliders could transform daily life by improving access to jobs, healthcare, and housing in coastal communities.
Looking ahead to Palantir (PLTR) earnings, Paul McCarthy is eager to see how the company is growing its commercial business segment. He wants more sustainable, repeatable revenue from the private sector instead of the "clunky" government contracts that have historically made up Palantir's business. Paul says there could be some technical resistance around $163 and believes a slight pullback would be healthy.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Subscribe to the Market Minute newsletter - https://schwabnetwork.com/subscribeDownload the iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/schwab-network/id1460719185Download the Amazon Fire Tv App - https://www.amazon.com/TD-Ameritrade-Network/dp/B07KRD76C7Watch on Sling - https://watch.sling.com/1/asset/191928615bd8d47686f94682aefaa007/watchWatch on Vizio - https://www.vizio.com/en/watchfreeplus-exploreWatch on DistroTV - https://www.distro.tv/live/schwab-network/Follow us on X – https://twitter.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/schwab-network/About Schwab Network - https://schwabnetwork.com/about

A new documentary delves into the complex debate surrounding livestock production and the potential impact of a world without cows. The film examines the various sides of the conversation, aiming to spark dialogue about the future of animal agriculture. Stuart McGregor, Vice President Commercial Business of Alltech Canada, acknowledges that there's no simple answer to the question. "The issue is not black and white," he states. "This initiative allows us to start meaningful conversations. It provides a platform for educating people, particularly those who may have been distanced from farm life—whether second, third, or fourth-generation farmers—or those who have moved away from agriculture altogether. It helps them understand the critical role of animal farming, not just in Canada but globally."
The latest findings from the Alltech 2024 Canadian Harvest Analysis reveal a mixed outlook for mycotoxin contamination in silage and grains across the country. While overall mycotoxin levels are down compared to previous years, regional variability remains a key concern, particularly for corn silage. Stuart McGregor, Vice President of Commercial Business for Alltech Canada, emphasized the importance of understanding the specific risks despite the overall decline in mycotoxins.

The conversation that follows is with Justin Steinke, Senior Vice President of Commercial Business at Spright. As a senior executive of one of the more sophisticated drone operators in the market, Justin knows the drone industry inside and out. He is just as comfortable discussing macro industry trends as he is getting into the weeds of enabling technologies. Needless to say, we did both. We start with a long discussion on the state of the commercial drone market: the remaining unaddressed pain points, technology gaps, enterprise adoption, upcoming market inflection points, the regulatory situation, and the best practices employed by successful drone businesses. Throughout the conversation you'll hear Justin highlight the importance of bringing aviation expertise and mindset as a prerequisite of success, and how this is still a rare find in the industry. We also touched on the relative pros and cons of B2B and B2C drone delivery business models in terms of time to market and ease of proving a safety case. And before taking a dive into the medical delivery use case, Justin shared what the Part 107 BVLOS waiver process looks like and what went into their 300 page submission to the FAA.And as we talked about the medical delivery use case, Justin went into a much appreciated level of detail describing the CONOPS, all of the associated elements, value proposition for hospitals and communities, and other operational and product details that are often overlooked. Towards the end of the conversation, we also talked about UTM, detect and avoid, drone type certification, operational approvals, and of course advice to entrepreneurs who are considering entering the drone market.Justin Steinke is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Business at Spright where he is focused on delivering scalable unmanned solutions into medical use cases as well as providing turnkey inspection services to electric utilities. With 20 years of aviation experience and start up leadership, Justin is highly experienced in system design, manufacturing, analytics solutions and communication systems for the DoD and UAS industries. Prior to Spright, Justin led teams at Volair, LLC, GE Aviation AiRXOS, Data Into Knowledge (DN2K) and Simulyze, Inc., across engineering, product management and strategic business development. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology & Finance and is a Commercial Rated Pilot and former Flight Instructor.

Kiran Kumaraswamy is a high-caliber energy storage executive focused on the commercialization of technology — specifically, architecting the techno-economic analysis and justification of deployment of hardtech like batteries. He's had a lot of practice, which contributed in-part to his rise to Vice President of Growth and Head of Commercial Business at Fluence, a global energy storage technology and services company created and backed by Siemens and AES. Kiran is an engineer who can translate technology to make it easy for customers to understand and teams to model and deploy. I was lucky enough to get an Hour with him at the recent RE-Plus show, so I dig into precisely how he has helped bring such transformative products and business models to life. So, it's a longer Tactical Tuesday than usual, but well-worth the investment. After earning his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Madras in India and a master's in engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he took a course in energy economics. "That's how I learned about the beautiful nature of power markets, asset trading, and a bunch of related things," he said. In today's Tactical Tuesday, Kiran shared insights on the "generational opportunities" created by the recently passed US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), stabilizing the supply chain, and how innovative technology is impacting the future of the potential $200 billion energy storage market in the United States.
