Ever heard the title "Vicar of Christ" tossed around and wondered, wait... what does that actually mean? Vicar - Why It’s a Big Deal) Patrick explains the Latin word "Vicarius." It basically means “second in command” or “chief steward.” Think: the right-hand man or the chief of staff... someone who acts with the authority of the king when the king’s not present. So, when Catholics say the Pope is the Vicar of Christ, they’re not saying he replaces Jesus. They're saying he represents Jesus on Earth as the one appointed to shepherd the Church in Christ’s name. From Simon to Peter Then we jump to the moment in Matthew 16. Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” and Simon (not known for being shy) replies, “You are the Christ!” Jesus blesses him, gives him a new name: “Peter” (from the Aramaic Cephas, meaning “rock”), and tells him: "I give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. What you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven..." Translation: Peter is in charge. Not as a mere administrator, but as the earthly steward of Christ’s kingdom. Patrick makes it crystal clear: This is where the Vicar of Christ idea begins. Isaiah 22: Old Testament Prime Minister Patrick connects Matthew 16 to Isaiah 22, where a guy named Eliakim is appointed as the royal steward in the Davidic Kingdom. He's given a robe, a sash, and the keys of the house of David. Sound familiar? The verse literally says: "He shall open, and none shall shut; he shall shut, and none shall open." So, Peter’s role is like Eliakim’s: the one with real authority, not just among equals, but over the whole household. Christ Is the Head. The Pope Is His Vicar Christ is always the true head of the Church: ontologically and spiritually. But on Earth, He entrusted Peter (and his successors, the popes) to lead, guide, and protect the flock. So, when we say, “Vicar of Christ,” we’re affirming: -Biblical roots (Matthew 16 & Isaiah 22) -Historical continuity (Peter and beyond) -Spiritual authority (rooted in Jesus Himself) Bonus: Pope Fiction Patrick gives a plug for his book, Pope Fiction, which talks about this exact topic and busts myths left and right. (Worth a read if you're tired of TikTok theology.)

Questions Covered: 13:30 – In the parable of the servants who were left with talents, what is the meaning (if any) behind the servant with only 1 talent failing to multiply his goods but rather burying them? It can’t follow that having less (skill or what have you) means you’re more likely to fail God? Usually we find great reversals in the parables so this has me a bit puzzled if I’m missing something? Thanks 20:49 – 1 Kings 2 is often cited as evidence for the powerful intercession of the Queen Mother in David’s kingdom. In this scene, although Solomon rises and bows before his mother, Bathsheba–and even brings out a throne for her to sit as his right!–he doesn’t actually grant her request. In fact, he even puts Adonijah to death! Should this passage be considered evidence for Mary’s intercession before her Son (as the fulfillment of the Davidic Kingdom), or are we who use this passage reading too much into it? 31:23 – Thank you! Can you help me formulate the best argument that the Bible is inspired by God to an unbeliever? Thanks. 37:19 – Why do other rites (besides the Roman) have their own canon law codes? 44:07 – What makes a sacrament a sacrament? I messaged a Lutheran content creator recently (because he called Purgatory a “Catholic Lie” and the conversation widened), and the Lutheran fellow very condescendingly spoke to Catholics (as well as Eastern Orthodox) ‘finding God where He is not present’, stating that Baptism and the Eucharist are the only sacraments, with anything else from Holy Matrimony/Orders to Annointing of the Sick being meaningless gestures that distract us from God’s grace, instead of imparting it. I was mortified, and disengaged at some bad faith arguments on his part, but it still made me wonder what is it about those seven things that make them sacraments, but not other things? 50:55 – Can you explain what inerrancy means and doesn’t mean? For example, in I Chronicles it says David prepared materials for the temple and in Samuel it only says it was Solomon. It also says David prepared 100,000 talents of gold for the temple, along with a million talents of silver, bronze, iron, timber, and stone. Do these numbers have to be literally correct for inerrancy? …
As the Davidic Kingdom begins we see glimpses of the amazing patience and obedience of God's faithful king, the mess of a fallen world, and the beauty of a king's heart focused on the kingdom of God.

How we accomplish our goals is as important as the accomplishments themselves. #daybydaylw Interested in learning more about becoming a devoted follower of Christ? Go to follow.lifeword.org! ~~~ Did you win the game? Did you make the grade? Do well on the test? Did you get the raise? Did you finish the job? Most of life is focused on results, outcomes. There was a time towards the end of my academic life, that I stopped caring about hard work, effort output, and was only concerned about one thing—finishing the degree. But we all should know that the end does not always justify the means. Winning a game by the means of cheating tarnishes the win. Getting the raise by means of sabotaging co-workers discredits your own work. Completing your homework by copying someone else's negates the point. It is not just the end that matters, but also the means. How you get to a goal is just as important as the goal itself. In the unfolding drama of 2 Samuel, which is about David ascending to the throne of Israel, uniting Israel into one kingdom, we have been watching different people employ different means in order to try and accomplish the goal and unite the kingdom. We have seen political prowess, pandering, polygamy, and murder. And underlying, or should we say superseding all of this is the sovereignty and providence of God, who takes even the sin of man and makes it serve His decreed purposes. Over the next few days we will watch one more attempt by some to try and impress King David with their ability to bring fruition God's promise of a Davidic Kingdom, but it will not end well for them.
The Southern Kingdom of Judah continued to exist for approximately 150 years after Israel fell to Assyria in 722 BC. During that time there were some terrific highs and terrifying lows for the Davidic Kingdom. We see some phenomenal efforts at reform in the reigns of Hezekiah and Josiah, but it's too little too late for a people who seem hell-bent on rejecting God's call for repentance. Babylon will come to Jerusalem to destroy the city and Solomon's temple, a truly tragic and horrific event. The Kingdom has completed its path from "glory to exile" in 586 BC. Yet, God always gives hope through the ministry of the prophets! God was patient and gentle with Israel for 200 years. Over and over again he called Israel to repent of their sins and come to him with open arms. Yet, they never did. The consequences of such impenitent, hard hearts was exile, just as Moses had foretold in the Book of Deuteronomy. Thus, the Kingdom of Israel in the North fell to the mighty Assyrian Empire in the war 722 B.C. Even in this calamitous event, God still promised the hope of restoration! After the ministries of God's prophets Elijah and Elisha, Israel still persists in sin. As a consequence, further curses of the Deuteronomic covenant are unleashed resulting in war, famine, draught, and general unrest. God purges the House of Ahab through King Jehu, but the house of David is nearly wiped out as a consequence. If Elijah is "the father of the prophets," as we saw in Lesson 6, then his firstborn son will be his young protégée Elisha, who faithfully proclaims repentance and mercy to Israel. Elisha's ministry further develops the themes of the New Exodus begun by Elijah. The typological connections with Jesus abound as Elisha is an amazing prefigurement of Jesus Christ. Elijah is the first of the great prophets in the Old Testament. In fact, he is called "the father of prophets" and for good reason. All of his miracles and deeds look backward to Moses and the Exodus on the one hand and on the other hand they point forward to Jesus Christ, the one who accomplishes the true and definitive Exodus! Because of Solomon's sins, the kingdom was to be torn away from him as the prophet Ahijah foretold. However, this tearing away should be understood as a "divorce" between the Davidic king and the tribes of Israel. This terrible split was brought about by the abusive and violent words of Rehoboam, Solomon's very unwise heir, and won't be remedied until the new son of David, Jesus Christ, comes to heal this deep wound and lovingly bring Israel back to himself. Solomon was given an abundance of grace, blessings, and wisdom to bless not only Israel, but all the gentile nations surrounding him. And that is exactly what we see happening at the high point of his life right before his tragic fall from grace. Because Solomon is a type of Jesus we will see these high points of his reign perfectly fulfilled by Jesus, who will bring salvation to the whole world. The construction of the Temple is arguably the high point of the entire Old Testament. It marks the occasion when Israel finally has "rest" from her enemies all around her in order to enter into the "Sabbath Rest" of covenantal communion with God in holy worship. The Temple is not just for Jews, however, but also for all the nations who will hear of God's holy name and come to worship him as well.Enjoy this sample from Lesson 3, "Solomon's Glorious Temple (1 Kings 5-8)," from Dr. Nick's course, "1-2 Kings: The Glory and Exile of the Davidic Kingdom." David's return to Jerusalem was not the triumphant victory and relief many thought it should be. He regained his throne but at the cost of his Absalom's life. Fully aware that such violence was the temporal consequences of his own sins, David must carry on to preserve the peace and unity of his kingdom. David's sins are infamous, but how could he have committed such crimes after all that God had done for him throughout his life and sworn to him through the covenant just a few chapters prior? David's fall teaches us a lot about how to avoid similar grave sins by being occupied with good things and weeding our gardens. The theological highpoint of both books of Samuel, and arguably even of the entire Old Testament, is the Davidic Covenant found in 2 Sam 7. God has been establishing covenants with his people going all the way back to Adam. Now, in the final covenant of the Old Testament, God is doing something truly spectacular with David and his progeny that will only be perfectly fulfilled in Jesus Christ. To understand the Davidic covenant is essential to understand the new and eternal covenant of our Lord. David trusted in God with heroic patience for many years while running from Saul before he became king, but when he did it was only over the tribe of Judah from Hebron. He had to wait many more years before he could become king over all 12 tribes. Once that happened, he made Jerusalem his political and religious capital, fulfilling many significant passages of Mosaic Law. David's many years in exile were undoubtedly very painful, stressful, and confusing. His king and father-in-law relentlessly pursues David all over the country to kill him for no reason at all. Yet, David never lifts a hand against Saul and thereby proves that David is faithful and loyal whereas Saul is not. David, unlike Saul, is a king unlike all others. His heart belongs to God and therefore God is with him in all that he does. In between Saul's anointing in 1 Sam 9-11 and Saul's fall from grace in 1 Sam 13-15, Samuel gives his farewell speech that sounds awfully familiar. Indeed, as a New Moses, Samuel's echoes the words of Moses' farewell speech in Deuteronomy. The gist of both men's words are be faithful, love God, or things won't go well for you! The transition between the era of the Judges and the era of the Monarchy isn't a smooth one. Israel sinfully asks for a king to "be like all the other nations," which is a rejection of both God and their unique vocation to be God's special possession. Saul is "the one asked for," and he'll demonstrate it in various ways throughout his reign. Samuel is arguably the greatest of all the Biblical "judges" during this period of salvation history, which is a welcome change from the stories of those in the book of Judges. Samuel's entire life is filled with grace, faith, and strength, beginning from the moment he is born, to his upbringing before God in the courts of the Tabernacle, to the definitive day he assumes his holy leadership of Israel and leads them to repentance and victory over the Philistines. Pastor Chris continued a series of sermons showing how the land (and also the architecture) of Israel is a kind of gospel because it helps tell God's story. In this teaching, we look at a clash of kingdoms, their foundations, and how everything once again comes together in the person and work of Jesus.

INTRODUCTION Each chapter of the tale of Ruth builds with tension. In this chapter, we're introduced to a mighty man, who could save our distressed damsels. But will he? This portion of the story is a real cliff-hanger. It doesn't give any resolution, but it does leave us important hints. It foreshadows, without giving anything away. THE TEXT And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter. And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech. And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee. Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this? […] (Ruth 2). SUMMARY OF THE TEXT Naomi & Ruth returned empty to Bethlehem, during the barley harvest (1:22). They were empty, but Bethlehem was full. The disaster has befallen, but now we witness a hero arise, a mighty man, of the kinfolk of Naomi, Boaz was his name. His name means “fleetness” or “in him is strength” (v1, Cf. 3:18); a clear contrast with Mahlon. Ruth sets out–with Naomi's blessing, and likely due to Naomi's instruction–to busy herself with the lawful means of subsistence given to widows & strangers (v2; Cf. Lev. 19:9). God's hand is clearly at work, for she “happens upon” the field of Boaz, Naomi's kinsman (v3). A diligent man, Boaz comes to see the state of his harvest with a blessing for his reapers who bless him in return (v4). Like any good love story, he spots the fair maiden, and inquires of his steward as to who she was (v5); the steward provides a thorough report: 1) she was the Moabitess who'd returned with Naomi, 2) she'd sought permission to exercise her right to glean, and 3) she'd displayed a remarkable work-ethic (vv6-7). Boaz speaks to Ruth, inviting her to glean permanently in his fields, permitting her to work alongside his maidens without harassment by his young men, and encouraging her to help herself to the cool waters of his wells (vv8-9, Cf. 2 Sam. 23:15). She bows in reverence, asking as to how she, a stranger, should procure his grace (v10). He explains that he'd heard the full tale of her loyalty to Naomi, forsaking her own land (v11), and he speaks a word of covenant blessing over her, for by her faith Jehovah's wings were spread over her (v12). She expresses her gratitude (v13), but his kindness to her is not yet done, for he welcomes her to dine with him & his harvesters (v14), and then instructs his reapers to purposefully make her gleaning both easier (v15), more abundant, and hassle-free (v16). After Ruth's full day of work, she returned to Naomi with the abundance of her industry: arms full of blessing (vv17-18). Naomi insists on knowing who to bless for this bounty, and Ruth informs her it was Boaz (v19). This news incites Naomi to burst forth in prayer & praise, explaining the importance of their relation to Boaz (v20). Ruth and Naomi then agree that this gleaning arrangement should be continued (vv21-23). THE ONE WHO CLUNG In some Rabbinic tradition Orpah is known as “the one who kissed,” and Ruth is known as “the one who clung.” Ruth clung to Naomi, displaying a true conversion to the God of Naomi. In Chapter 2, Boaz invites Ruth to cling to his fields amidst his handmaids and young men until the end of the harvest (Cf. 2:8,21); which is the very thing she does (2:23). This is the same word that's elsewhere used to describe a husband cleaving to his wife (Gen. 2:24). The Lord repeatedly tells Israel to cleave unto Him (Deu. 10:20, 11:22, 13:4, 30:20); and to not cling unto the cursed things (Deu. 13:17) or else the curses will cling to them (Deu. 28). Joshua renews the insistence that Israel continue cleaving to the Lord, if she would enjoy the Deuteronomic blessing (Jos. 22:5, 23:8,12). But Bethlehem has been under the curse of God, as evident by the famine. However, Ruth has come to cling to Naomi and her God; and now in Boaz, she clings to the fields of Israel. In contrast, Elimelech forsook the fields of Israel for the fields of Moab. Ruth has clung to God, and as the story unfolds we wait to see whether this clinging will result in blessing. We often want to see the blessing before we cling in faith. But Ruth displays the life of true faith, clinging comes first. Faith and then sight. As the hymn writer put it, “Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling.” THE MIGHTY MAN The arrival of Boaz into the narrative is meant to tantalize us, but not satisfy us. He's a close kin of Naomi, and thus he could fulfill the required duty of redeeming her, and raising up an heir for Elimelech (Deu. 25:5). There are a few things we learn about Boaz. He himself apparently doesn't have an heir. He was the son of Salmon and Rahab. Some scholars object to the timeline, and insist that the genealogy at the end of the book must have been streamlined. But this just shows a lack of imagination and basic math skills. John Tyler (born 1790), our tenth president (1841-1845), still has a living grandson. In other words, it is not at all unlikely that Boaz's mother was indeed that famous Jerichoite, Rahab. So his own mother had been a Gentile stranger who came to rest in the land of Israel. He was likely rather old, as his referring to Ruth as “my daughter” indicates. His care of her is initially paternal. He is a mighty one. And, as we see, a man of profound generosity. His charity is notable, and worthy of emulation. But most importantly, he's a possible Kinsman-redeemer for Naomi and Ruth. LIGHT IN THE SHADOWS This whole section is laden with important symbolism. There's a contrast being made between how Boaz treats this Moabitess with how Moab treated Israel during her wanderings (Deut. 23:3-4). Another shadow which is being illuminated for us is in the language used to describe Ruth's departure from the land of her nativity (2:11). It calls to mind Abram's departure out of Ur. Boaz's feast invites us to see in him a sort of Melchizedek, bringing wine and bread to this feminine version of Abram. The first man, Elimelech & his sons, left Naomi and Ruth in a wasteland. Not unlike Adam in Eden. Boaz arises to be a sort of second Adam. He is painted as what a good and godly king ought to be. Mighty, diligent to know the state of his flocks & fields (Pro 27:23), overflowing generosity, a mouth full of blessing. He is indeed a portrait of a godly patriarch, and all this is aimed to reinforce the Davidic Kingdom. UNDER JEHOVAH'S WINGS The only place of protection is under the wings of Jehovah. This expression will come into play again in the next chapter. But to be under the wings of Jehovah is likely a reference to the wings of the cherubim, which covered the ark of covenant. It was by the blood, sprinkled on the mercy seat, whereby all of Israel rested under the blessing and protection of God. The story of Ruth is the story of the Redemption of the world in miniature. It sets before you the question: have you come to rest under the wings of Jehovah? Ruth the barren, brings to Naomi, in the midst of her bitter trial, armloads of sweet blessing. Where did this abundance come from? It came from resting under the Shadow of the Almighty. But the blessings here only foreshadow greater blessings which await these godly women. This truth remains unchanged. Many people want God's blessing, but they do not want to forsake Moab's fields. They want their arms loaded full with the harvest, but they do not want to cleave to the fields of Boaz. God's blessing is found, even in the midst of bitter trial, by clinging to Him alone, obeying His Covenant Word, and steadfastly hoping in the promised Seed. Naomi gives a speech at the end of each chapter. The first chapter is her cry of godly despair; she even refuses to call God by His covenant name, opting instead to call Him El Shaddai (the Almighty). But here at the close of chapter 2, she praises Jehovah, and His covenant-mercies. The Redeemer arises, to make good on all the promised covenant blessings.

There are key prophecies in the Old Testament regarding Jesus as the Messiah. Among them, there is a theme of Jesus as the Messiah King coming through the line of David. The main passage for this is found in 2 Samuel 7. But, many of the Psalms build upon this theme to teach us about this Messiah King. Psalm 89 is one of those passages. In this text, the Psalmist remembers God's choice of David and the promise he gave to David to establish an everlasting kingdom through him. Then, the Psalmist looks at the current state of the Davidic Kingdom in turmoil and asks God to renew his promise to David. This is ultimately fulfilled when Jesus comes through his death, burial, and resurrection. Preserved From the Beast (16) (Audio) David Eells - 10/20/21 They Shall Not Prevail Against Thee David Eells - 10/16/21 On 10/16/21, I asked for a word by faith at random for what is happening NOW. Jer 15:20-21 And I will make thee unto this people a fortified brazen wall; and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith Jehovah. 21 And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible. I had written, in brackets, a side note that I had received this on 3/17/19. This timing was in our last program already as a past delay that will end in these days. So the wicked faction will fail to catch the Davids for God is with them. And Cyrus/Trump will help them to rebuild the Kingdom. That same night, 10/16/21 I had a vivid dream. I saw several rag-tag disheveled looking people chasing me and in the dream I thought “for what?”. (The answer is because the dragon wants to devour the Davids) They were shooting at me with buckshot. (Scatter shot represents various slanders.) (Psalm 17:8-13 Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings, 9 From the wicked that oppress me, My deadly enemies, that compass me about. 10 They are inclosed in their own fat: With their mouth they speak proudly. 11 They have now compassed us in our steps; They set their eyes to cast us down to the earth. 12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, And as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. 13 Arise, O Jehovah, Confront him, cast him down: Deliver my soul from the wicked by thy sword. The Lord is coming in a garment stained with the blood of the factious Edomites. As the DS criminals are being executed after military tribunals, so will be the deep church criminals as our dreams and words have shown.) Their leader was shorter than the rest of them. (This represents the stunted maturity of the factious leadership.) To make up for this he had on a tall, 10 gallon hat (representing his inflated ego). I was easily avoiding them as they ran around feverishly trying to kill me. (Our intel in dreams and visions and Words that the Father gives to us to warn us of their plans is far better than theirs. They plan a big slander attack and theft. His assistant spies on us everywhere but nothing will save them. Mat. 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.) Then I saw that a ferocious Lion was chasing them. Their guns were useless against him as he devoured them one by one. (Isa 62:11-63:3 Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken. 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? (Edoms sheepfold) this that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment. The Lord is coming in His Man-child body to fulfill Isa 61:2 to proclaim the year of Jehovah's favor, (Jesus quoted up to this point) and the day of vengeance of our God; (Jesus didn't speak this last phrase underlined when He came the first time as a Lamb, but this time He is coming as a Lion with vengeance against our enemies.) to comfort all that mourn; 3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; (The Bride will cease mourning and be full of joy when this comes.) that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified. 4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. (The Man-child and Bride will rebuild the Davidic Kingdom that was destroyed by the apostates.) (This dream is a confirmation of the faction and their little boss chasing me like the dragon trying to devour the Man-child but failing and being devoured by the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ.) Dealing with the Factious David Eells - 6/5/11 Though this happened in 2011 it fits a pattern ever since. Back then I had a very unusual and memorable vision early in the morning. I saw myself as a normal person in a cartoon. I was in a long, log cabin cartoon house. I heard a voice warning, "David, the dragon has sent the "ink-lies" against you”. (Meaning slander) I opened the door on one end of the cartoon cabin and looked to my left. (Where Jesus put the goats.) I saw a cartoon dragon with his head stuck into a back window of the cabin all the way up to his shoulders. Most of what I saw outside was the tail of the dragon. As I saw this, the dragon pulled his head out and faced me. I then saw cartoon, black letters, black characters, sneaking through the house from the back window. As I came out of this vision, the Lord gave me the interpretation. The long, log cabin house is UBM in the wilderness. The dragon is the local part of the corporate beast inhabited by Satan, as in Revelation 12. The prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail (Isa.9:15). The mouth of the dragon was in the house speaking lies, which were turning into black text, the "ink-lies”. The faction dragon is He who does not come through the door, which are these self appointed fakes, “but climbeth up some other way" coming into the back of the house, as Jesus said in John 10:1. He was coming through the window in the back as a thief who comes to steal, as Jesus also said: (10:10) The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly. These thieves, of course, are the ones who are not sent by the Lord; they speak lies to seek to steal a position of leadership and the people's hearts away from those who come through the door of Jesus. How do they sneak in the back way? Matthew 18:15 tells them to first face the person they are accusing but they go first to the saints, which is the third step in verse 17. They are as a thief going to the saints first. They are called “Backstabbers” in the Word. They know their lies wont stand up to truth so they are told to avoid David. We have had a parade of these people the last few years. It is a cartoon because it is not a thing to be feared. It is God cleansing the church, because the wicked in heart listen to these people and separate from the righteous, for "an evil doer giveth heed to lying lips". It is also for the purpose of crucifying the true leaders, as was done with Jesus, the apostles, and the prophets throughout history. A brother shared a dream with us. He said, “I was in a long classroom with many UBM brethren. I was near the front of the class when I saw a person enter the rear of the room and begin to speak to each person from the back going toward the front. I was apprehensive because this person is well-known to us as a lying, factious slanderer who sought a position of authority in UBM and was angry when David stood in his way. I tried to call David to warn him but couldn't get through. Then David came into the room, as an 8-year-old man-child, and rebuked this slanderer. David said, "In the name of Jesus, get out of here!" and factious slanderer left the room. (The 8-year-old Man-child is the pre-anointed Man-child who is 30 years old when anointed. Little David kept his Father's flocks before He became king. He slew the beasts, the lion and bear, who sought to take the sheep by stealth.) Then David followed him out and he and another man-child began to fight with the slanderer. End of dream. (This all sounds very much like my vision. We never suspected this person would come back to fulfill this dream but that there were others with his same factious spirits who, through factious slander or divisive criticism, would seek to usurp authority in the assembly.) Of course, casting these people out is commanded to keep them from leavening the whole body. {1Co.5:7} Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, [even] Christ: {8} wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth … {11} but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be ... a reviler (speaking against the brethren) ... with such a one no, not to eat. {12} For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? {13} But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves. {2Th.3:6} Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us ... {14} And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed. In cases where there is rejection and factious criticism involved, you won't have to cast them out; they will leave because of their own demonic unforgiveness and bitterness. We also do this "that they may be ashamed" and repent, because if they do not, they will die like the murmurers and complainers did in the wilderness in Numbers 14. Also, in Numbers 16, the usurpers of Moses' authority in the Korah, Dathan and Abiram rebellion died in the wilderness. They forsook assembling together with the saints because of their offense and Moses called the assembly to separate from them or partake of their judgments, just as we should today. After this dream, Gerard received two dreams which he had received a week apart that torturers were sneaking into the body through the back way to torture the UBM brethren. In one of the dreams, we were running a huge ship to carry brethren to the refuge while this was happening. In the other, the brethren were seeking to hide in a large van and the torturers were sneaking in the back door as one of them held it open. All of this warning, in just a little over a week, lets you know the devil's plan of attack. The Bible tells you to report these sly actions to the elders and mark or make known such persons. Under the guise of concerned persons, they air their murmurings and complaining until the listener's heart is poisoned against others or often the leadership. {Rom.16:17} Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them. {18} For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent. Jesus, speaking to the body, said that worldly members of the body who cause stumbling should be cut off so the whole body isn't cast into hell. {Mat.18:7} Woe unto the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must needs be that the occasions come; but woe to that man through whom the occasion cometh! {8} And if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed or halt, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. {9} And if thine eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire. These factious, critical people were reported to the elders in the scriptures and must be reported today also, (just as in Lanita Sue Creech's dream.) {1Co.1:11} For it hath been signified unto me concerning you, my brethren, by them [that are of the household] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. {11:18} For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you; and I partly believe it. {19} For there must be also factions among you, that they that are approved may be made manifest among you. Notice that the disobedient will be known when this happens because those who are approved will be manifested through their obedience. {1Jn.2:19} They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us. Since the primary reason is usually faction or division for the sake of lifting up 'self' to usurp authority. (Most of the people who led factions were never an elder. They ordained themselves; giving themselves titles.) You should admonish such a one twice -- the first and second time they speak factiously before separating from them, even if they have been a friend, because we must do it for the sake of the body. {Tit.3:10} A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse; {11} knowing that such a one is perverted, and sinneth, being self-condemned. (We have found that people who don't obey this command are captured by the demons.) Notice we are told in these verses to turn away from them or refuse them. (In my experience, when a person disobeys this or receives an accusation against an elder without witnesses or doesn't turn the railer or reviler around by asking them if they have gone to the person's face, as Matthew 18:15 commands, the listener then gets the factious demons and is separated from the body. This cleanses the body. It is a trial from God to see who will obey and who should be separated because of their own sin. Why is God sending this trial now? Because many more souls are coming to take refuge among the saints as a safe place. When they come, the lion and bear shouldn't be there waiting for innocent souls. The shepherd who permits this leaves the back door of the fold open and is as guilty as the factious and may well get that spirit.) I have seen a consistent pattern over the years; a common scenario that happens when people suddenly rise up against our ministry. It is a common M.O. and trap that the devil has laid for them. It goes something like this: A person with rejection and fear of rejection is oppressed by these spirits for many years and so earnestly desires the opposite -- respect, admiration, being looked up to, feeling important, being a leader, etc. Finally, one day the opportunity comes for them to be in the spotlight and they like the feeling. They get a rush when they are promoted by others or promote themselves to others. So they go after it by seeking the glory from men. Sometimes they see a shepherd whom they think stands in their way and they begin to tear him down behind the scenes. It really doesn't matter to them that this minister has given their all to serve them and deliver them from darkness and that he is holy in the Lord's eyes. Soon the persons whom they spoke to begin to withdraw from this shepherd because their hearts are poisoned with whispering, nitpicking and slander. When the shepherd searches for the source of all this and faces them with their sin, they feel once again the pain of these lying spirits who turn even kind correction into rejection and fear of rejection. So, in self-will they retaliate against the shepherd, their old friend, weirdly seeing him as the enemy when all he has done is good toward them and loved them. And he wonders what happened. Why have my good friends done this to me? Why have they deserted me? Hoping not to bring public and personal rebuke to those who already have rejection, the shepherd seeks to inoculate his flock with teaching so the disease doesn't spread, as shepherds must do. The offended bring up all kinds of things that are not sins against the shepherd because the devil is seeking to destroy him and his reputation through them. And they want to separate disciples unto themselves. They are immature and puffed up and, contrary to the Biblical methods, acting as though God has ordained them to be elders and to take authority over the one who has been a shepherd for many years. They account this shepherd unworthy of forgiveness which they want for themselves but now have lost. In these cases, Matthew 18:15-17 has to be finally and painfully observed. They twist the scriptures to prove a point that doesn't account for anything but it is simply an excuse to seek their own glory. When one with rejection starts factious criticism, it is for the sake of self-glory. They sow a spirit of discord, which God says He hates. They are like Esau, who was a son of Abraham/Isaac, and sold his birthright by following the flesh and persecuting the elect. They become unholy and unreliable before God and don't have the humility or conscience to repent and restore the damage they have done. "He that returneth evil for good, evil will not depart from his house”. Jesus said, {Joh.5:41} I receive not glory from men. {42} But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in yourselves. {43} I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. {44} How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that [cometh] from the only God ye seek not? … {8:50} But I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. ... {54} Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father that glorifieth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God. ... {12:43} for they loved the glory [that is] of men more than the glory [that is] of God. They fail the test in the wilderness and accuse Moses, who gave his life for them and suffered much to bring them out of Egypt. And like in Korah's rebellion, God was angry and swallowed them up alive. Most of these people just become swallowed alive by the earth of their flesh, being darkened in their understanding as they wander further from the truth and are tormented by the tormentors. Some of them die by diseases, too. God told me He would curse those who cursed me and He has always been true to that Word but I don't desire this for my brethren and pray for mercy for them. These people almost never confess their sins for fear of rejection and so they are never cleansed of unrighteousness (1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.). They are factious, critical and they spread discord, dividing people unto themselves by self-willed opinions, which is the definition of the Greek word for "heresies". Important reading to avoid faction: Deliverance from Rejection and Its Fear Separating the Factious from the Righteous Belinda - 10/04/2011 (David's notes in red) At 4:30 a.m. this morning, I had a vision: It was dark, but in the darkness I saw a house. The house was shining very brightly on the right side; it appeared to be glowing. I saw people gathered in a circle; they were very tall and they seemed at peace. They were praying and singing praises to the Lord. (This is the UBM house and in a larger type the house of God. They were on the right side because they were sheep which Jesus put on the right. That side was shining brightly because the glory of God is there. They were tall because they were big and mature in the ways of the Lord.) On the left side of the house it was very dark and smoke was coming out of the walls. The people looked like dwarves. They were angry and agitated, and they kept pacing back and forth. (The left is, of course, those who act as goats, which Jesus put on His left. It was very dark because they are walking in darkness. Smoke is coming out of the walls because their sanctification is being destroyed by the judgment of God that is upon them. They were dwarves because they have been stunted in their growth and are small even according to man's standards. They are angry and agitated because they are full of faction, anger, slander, wrath, etc. They are pacing back and forth because they are nervous and stirred up by these spirits.) There was a door that separated the two sides of the house. There were no handles on either side of this door. (God has made a separation between the righteous and the factious. They may not get at the truly righteous who obey His Word to separate from them and we may not minister to them, for God has given them over to this reprobation for now.) The people on the left were angry because they could not figure out how to get this door open to get at the people on the other side. (The goats have been bitter and angrily trying to get at the righteous with their slander.) They wanted to stop those people from singing and praising the Lord. (The demons hate peace and praise among the righteous.) There was a crack about 3/4 of the way down through the center of the house. It looked like at any time the house would split apart. (This is the spiritual earthquake we have seen that is separating those who walk in sin from the refuge and Bride. The separation will soon be physical and those who do not repent will leave our house as a purified house. The Lord said to me, as I meditated on this, that His foot is pushing down on the left side of the house. Looks like possibly there is a quarter of the way left to go but as the weight of their sin becomes greater they will break off. Father has been showing us for several years through dreams, visions and prophecy that an army of demons would make war with UBM and myself in an attempt to destroy our influence on Earth but at the same time we were shown we would become greater in holiness, power and ministry.) I noticed that the right side of the house was firmly on the foundation, whereas the left side of the house had no ground under it. I thought to myself, if that house splits all the way, the left side is going to fall and there's nothing to catch it! (They are not founded on the rock of God's Word but "on the sand" of the abyss and Jesus said, concerning the fall of that house, great was the fall thereof (Mat.7:24-27). Unforgiveness has taken away grace from them for which only Hell awaits without repentance. At that time, we were told by the factious leaders, in emails and in front of the assembly, that they would leave peaceably but they lied because they had their eye on carving up UBM for themselves from the cover of darkness, which failed. God also had His plan to separate those who could give in to these lusts and so He has. We pray constantly for our brethren that they would come to repentance and we know that some will.) Lion/Iron Man VS. Predator Eve Brast - 9/22/21 (David's notes in red) I dreamed that UBM was located in an old house with dark blue, textured carpeting. We were all there waiting for something to happen. (The old house represents following the ancient paths and clinging to the Word that we heard from the beginning. I believe we were waiting for the anointing of the Man-child ministries and the 7 year tribulation to begin.) David (Representing the pre-anointed Man-child Davids) was there standing in the midst of us and I was holding a brown paper bag in my right hand. It was rolled down at the edges and had unshelled peanuts in it to eat. It was only a quarter full. (In the natural, the food supply is dwindling because of a DS engineered famine. This has been happening slowly over the past 1 1/2 years since the lockdowns began. Spiritually speaking, Our Deep Church has done what they could to destroy the food in the granaries for the 7 years of famine by taking down our website and videos but they have failed. As we will see later on in this dream, the Man-child Jesus is coming to expound on the revelations we've received at UBM and His Word. He will increase our spiritual food.) As I pulled out a peanut, I noticed that they looked like Brazil nuts but were white in color. I ate it and it tasted funny to me and different than a usual peanut. I offered some to one of the brethren standing near me and as I did this some of them fell on the floor. The peanuts began transforming into locusts and were crawling around slowly on the carpet. (In the natural, this could represent famine taking over our food supply. It didn't happen suddenly in the dream but more gradually. Spiriually speaking, the factious leadership in the Church has created a lack of the food of the kingdom; the good news of the Gospel. These locusts represent the Northern army of Joel 1 & 2.) Then I walked out to the front yard where there was a brown shed like the one in David's backyard at his house in real life; only this shed was older. I went inside the shed and climbed onto a large bed that Anna Stewart was sitting on. (Anna means: grace or favor. And Stewart means: household guardian. She represents the first fruits Bride company.) The bed had all white sheets and bedding (Representing resting in sanctification) and took up the entire space inside the shed except for about a 2 foot space between the foot of the bed and the entrance of the shed. (This represents a place of safety and rest which the Bride has learned to come into in all her trials and preparations to be able to minister the Gospel; The Real Good News, in the wilderness tribulation.) As we sat together ‘Indian style' near the foot of the bed talking, I looked down at the floor of the shed between the end of the bed and the front door and noticed the same dark blue textured carpeting that had been inside the old house. I was also still carrying the brown bag of peanuts in my right hand. I noticed a bunch of fire ants and 'peanut locusts' from the house crawling around on the carpet in the shed. (These represent the spiritual fiery darts of the enemy and the physical trials of famine and food shortages and also the locusts who have devoured God's people in Joel 1) I was wearing these bright white socks on my feet and complaining to Anna that every time I tried to put my left foot down onto the carpet, the fire ants would all swarm onto my white sock and try to bite me through the sock even though they couldn't bite me. She replied, “Well, why are you doing that? Just don't do it.” I then realized how ridiculous my complaining was and how unnecessary that trial was since I didn't have to set my foot down onto the carpet at all. We were supposed to stay on the bed anyway since it took up the entire space inside the shed and the fire ants and locusts couldn't come onto the bed even if they'd wanted to! (This represents getting out of the continual rest that we are commanded to stay in by faith. When we focus on what the enemy is trying to do or the problems around us, we are putting our feet down and walking on the earth. We are not walking in heavenly places with Christ. This causes us to blow the situations out of proportion in our minds and we end up in fear, doubt and complaining to God and putting ourselves through trials that we didn't have to go through to begin with.) I felt silly for looking for something to complain about and putting myself through a trial that I didn't have to go through and said, “Well, that's true! You're right. I don't have to put my foot down there.” After a bit I knew it was time to go back into the house and when I went out of the shed, I looked over where the house used to be and it had transformed into a cave on the side of a sheer precipice of a mountain that was made up of one giant gray rock. (The Rock is Christ that followed the Israelites through the wilderness. The cave represents the cleft in the Rock where God's people are hidden and take refuge like in AA Allen's end-time vision of the cleft of the Rock.) It didn't seem like a naturally occurring cave but one that had been blasted out of the side of the mountain with dynamite. (This protection will be supernatural and not natural by the works of man's hands.) It was shallow and only extended back into rock about 30 feet. I don't know how I got over to the cave but I must have walked on the air because it was located high up on the side of the sheer precipice. (The way to this place of safety is spiritual and not by our own efforts to save ourselves.) UBM was in the cave and we had lots of boxes and wooden crates stacked up all over inside of the cave. They were full UBM materials, books and food supplies. But, I didn't see David anywhere. The world around us had changed so much in a short period of time and was much more evil and dangerous now. (As we will see, I believe David was somewhere (in a phone booth, lol,) turning into Lion Man. :o) In the dream I was having trouble with my heart, as were many others of my brethren in the cave. (Heart troubles represent our struggle with death to self and chasing the crucified life and the human weaknesses that our flesh nature tries to control us with; fear, doubt, unbelief etc... Even Jesus experienced this and overcame it in John 12:23-28, And Jesus answereth them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor. 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour (?). But for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, saying , I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.) As I was experiencing this ‘heart trouble' in the dream a super hero (I'll call Lion Man) suddenly appeared in the cave with us. His head was the head of a Lion with golden spun hairs intermingled with the hairs of His mane. He talked with a deep rich voice that was very dignified and regal. (Like James Earl Jones' voice). He was wearing a dark grey body suit (representing the crucified life of death to self) It had a circular Arc Reactor where His heart used to be (Like Tony Stark from Iron Man) only Lion Man's Arc Reactor was golden all around the edges. (The golden Arc Reactor could be a play on words for ARK which was where the power and presence of God rested during the Israelites time in the wilderness and also the place of safety for Noah and his family as it lifted off of the earth when the flood waters of judgment were released on the rest of mankind.) This Arc Reactor was the source of His super powers and emitted a bright light. (This represents the latter reign anointing of the Man-child ministers to lead and teach God's people through the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation. The Lion of Judah, Jesus, is their head. In the movie, Iron Man, the character, Tony Stark, was wounded in the chest by shrapnel from an enemy attack, so he invented an electromagnetic Arc Reactor to prevent the shards of metal going into his heart and killing him. He then built a powerful body armor suit that was powered by the Arc Reactor in order to escape from his enemies that were holding him captive. This represents the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus that provides us with the armor of God so that we can have His same power to escape our enemies that try to take us captive.) Lion Man began taking slightly smaller, thinner replicas of His Arc Reactor and installing them in each of our chests with speed and precision. After this we didn't have anymore heart problems and we all had superpowers like Him. We all felt a new, inner power and faith surging through us and nothing felt impossible for us anymore. It was like we had a new invincibility to take on the new evil world that we were now surrounded by. (The Man-child ministers will pass on their anointing to the Bride so that she can pass it on to the elect of God in the wilderness tribulation.) Lion Man had David's Bible and He opened it up as we all gathered around Him to hear what He had to say. The pages were super white and all the words were in large print. He began expounding on the Word of God to us and we were understanding it like never before! The revelations and truths that He shared with us had been hidden up until that point. We were all blown away by the understanding and the knowledge He imparted to us. He then broke open the crates with the UBM materials and opened up one of the books and the pages appeared as they do in the texts of the Bible Studies with David's notes in red. Lion Man was also expounding on the books as well. He began improving on David's notes and explaining further the interpretations of the revelations that David had received and it's like our minds were opened up to really understand the things of God. (Lion man represents the latter reign anointed Man-child and He is explaining the David's former reign anointed teachings.) With the latter reign anointing will come deeper and greater understanding and application of the Word of God and bring us more power to increase the Kingdom of God.) After this, He told us that our mission was to go and bring food and the UBM materials to all the children that belonged to Him. Sometimes it would just be a delivery and other times we were there to rescue the children from their abusive parents or captors and bring them back to the cave with us. (Many of God's elect have been starved and or abused spiritually by the greedy apostate shepherds and will be set free to follow the Man-child and Bride bodies into the wilderness. Rev. 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.) We began flying out of the cave on our perspective missions wearing the same dark grey body suits with the Arc Reactors like what Lion Man was wearing. But we were met with heavy resistance by a new invading alien force that looked like the Predator Aliens from the movie, Aliens VS Predators. They also had a circular power source in their chests that emitted a greenish/yellow glow. It had what looked like green slimy veins all around the edges of it. (Bill Steinland had a dream that a Predator demon from this same movie was trying to kill David the night before he fell from a ladder and almost died in real life. I also had a dream that a Predator demon was working with the faction to destroy UBM and our materials.) They would fight against us in mid-air by flinging greenish sticky discs at us that looked like the power sources in their chests. They were trying to keep us from saving the children and bringing them the food and materials that they needed to survive. (The factious and witchcraft demons have been doing this for years through attacks on our reputation, our contact people and workers, our materials and computers etc.) At one point I was training a young girl with long light brown hair, on the narrow ledge of the precipice, how to make it safely to the cave and one of the Predator enemies was suspended in mid-air behind us about 30 yards back. He was flinging the greenish sticky discs at us and most of them were sticking to the rock wall all around us as I drew her close to my side for protection. (This represents our little sister described in Song of Solomon. They are God's elect that are the second fruits of the end-time great revival and tribulation harvest.) I was grabbing the enemies disks off of the wall and flinging them back at him just as quickly. At one point, one of them landed on my right upper arm but without any effect. I pulled it off and flung it back at him hitting him in the chest with his own weapon. (Their devices will return upon their own heads.) He was mainly trying to interfere with our mission and get us to lose our balance on the ledge since that was the only power he really had. None of our enemies were able to harm us, they were only trying, desperately, to stop us or delay our missions to save the children. Then I woke up. The Factious Lion Cannot Harm Those in the Cleft of the Rock Claire Pienaar - 9/22/21 (David's notes in red) I dreamed I watched a lion that looked like the lion character named ‘Scar' from the animated Disney movie, "Lion King.” (Scar is the weaker lion who is the brother of Mufasa (Meaning: King) the Lion King. He conspires with the Hyenas (Judas and the leaders) and succeeds in killing Mufasa (Jesus) and driving Simba, Mufasa's son (Man-child in whom Jesus lives), who is the young lion cub heir to the kingdom out of the land. (Like Joseph in prison by the harlot until:) (Simba means: Courageous Warrior) Scar eventually fails to inherit the kingdom once Simba is fully grown and realizes his own strength and power to defeat his 'Judas' Uncle ‘Scar'. He then returns to Pride Rock and defeats Scar and his band of Hyenas (The Judas Faction) in an ultimate, final battle between good and evil and this restores justice and beauty back to the land in the movie. (Interestingly, According to Wikipedia, James Earl Jones was the voice-over for Mufasa, the Lion King, in this movie as Eve had described the voice of Lion-man in her dream above.) In my dream the lion chased 5 young children into a cave. (The number 5 represents grace which Father gives to all those with child-like faith.) (I think there was one Middle-Eastern looking little boy, about 7 years in age, (Seven is the number of completion and of the churches. The boy represents the Man-child, Jesus, in His corporate body of ministers who will teach the Bride in the wilderness in the safety of the cleft in the Rock.) and the rest were little blonde girls that were younger versions of my own daughters who have blonde hair in real life. (The blonde haired girls represent the corporate body of the first fruits Bride who are submitted to Christ.) This reminds me of Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle will he hide me; He will lift me up upon a rock.) (Here, again, we see a cartoon dragon character, in the from of a lion, seeking to devour and destroy the Man-child lion who is the rightful heir to the throne and the Kingdom of God. Rev.12:4-6 …the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child. 5 And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.) As they made it into the mouth of the cave, these big strong metal bars... came over the mouth of the cave. The children squeezed through bars so they were now contained inside the cave. The lion could not get through, and he was growling and roaring and very desperate to get to these children. (1 Pe. 5:8 Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,) The children went deeper into the cave. (God's elect press into abiding in Christ, the Rock, during times of tribulation.) There was a stream or river of water that ran through the cave, and they were playing and swimming in the water. (Jesus is the Word made flesh and He is the Living Water that we drink from in order to have eternal life. He is the Rock of our salvation. John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, Every one that drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.) I saw the lion gain entrance to the cave from another way. (The factious leaders in the Church were not anointed to shepherd God's people. They are liars, thieves and murderers. And they are doing their father, satan's, bidding; robbing God's people and killing them spiritually and physically through their witchcraft prayers. John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.) The lion was trying to get into the water to swim with the current to where the children were but there didn't seem to be a way for him to do it and he was getting angry. (The woman will be protected in the cleft of the Rock in the wilderness.) I received this verse by faith at random when I asked the Lord about this dream. Psalm 55:3: Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they cast iniquity upon me, And in anger they persecute me. The Lion of Judah Will Fight for Us Merlene Laughlin - 7/26/21 (David's notes in red) I was taking a nap on the couch and had nicely gotten to sleep when I had a vision. I saw myself suddenly go from a sideways lying position to a sitting position facing frontwards. (A frontward facing position represents facing the enemy and taking them head-on.) It wasn't as though an attack had come on me, but, I was ferociously praying in the Spirit, and shouting and commanding; staying seated with my feet planted on the floor. I could not get up! Looking ahead, I could see the periphery on each side of me. I could see all around me for protection. There was a shield, two inches thick, in place about me that nothing could penetrate. It was made of a substance that I didn't know. (We have a Psalm 91 protection that is promised to us when we abide in Christ.) My hands and arms were in a fighting mode. (Psalm 18:24 He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.) I knew that there were other people in our UBM body that I was helping. I saw them only as shadowy figures that were standing together behind a wall, 2 inches thick by 6 feet high. The wall was made of the same material that my shield was made from and was about twelve feet away from me. (We are called to do spiritual warfare for our brethren in the kingdom.) I was still shouting in the Spirit as I noticed my hands. Sometimes they would make fists, then open and make a chop, chop motion. All of a sudden, as I watched my hands, they turned into the paws of a lion, tan in color, up to my forearms. (Isa. 40:10 Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.) I was wondering how long this would continue on, but I could not stop fighting in the Spirit until the attack was over. From somewhere else came my strength. Then suddenly, the attack went away. It was defeated! (And the Lion of Judah, who is Christ in us our hope of glory, won the battle for us! PTL!) Restoration promised. The Davidic Kingdom. Music intro and outro by Scott Holmes. Theme music by Gotama, Tale A Break
The Gebirah meaning meaning "Great Lady" or "Queen Mother", was clearly the most important woman in the Kingdom of Judah; a king had many wives, but only one mother. The Gebirah of the eternal Davidic Kingdom of Jesus Christ is Mary of Nazareth. Upon her Assumption into heaven Her Son placed her in her well deserved place beside His throne as mother of the King of kings.

It's wonderful to see scenarios of peace such as the Abraham Accords rather than war. However, Jerusalem Channel presenter Christian Darg says the Bible teaches that only the soon-coming return of the Prince of Peace to earth can bring genuine and lasting peace.

The Psalms are more than a collection of prayers. They tell the story of the Davidic Kingdom. In fact, they are the underpinning of the story—the inner thoughts, emotions, and movements of the heart of kings David and Solomon. Richaél Lucero reveals their story in the Psalms—all 150 of them. Here you'll find a wealth of human experiences put in words through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Listen and you'll also learn how to navigate the Psalms and use their words, in your conversations with God. Show notes: —DONATE! Become a patron. The New World Order is being built through 'false prophecies' of three countries: USA, Israel, and Iran. American Z1on1st Christians want to protect Israel at all costs so that the 3rd Temple must be built, which will usher in Jesus Returning - the Second Coming. The Israeli Z1on1sts want to Take Over the Middle East according to the Oded Yinon Greater Israel Plan and get all the Arab Nations and the West to fight each other, so that they will usher in the End Times Messiah by rebuilding the Davidic Kingdom. And the Iranians think if they can defeat Israel, they can bring their Islamic Messiah back! And yet - NONE of this is in the Bible! Jesus said to be an ambassador of peace, NOT to rebuild a temple that God destroyed through the Romans. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUPPORT THIS SHOW:

Audio takes a few seconds to load. How God Uses Failure in Our Lives Sermon by Jefferis Kent Peterson, July 21, 2019 Note: God does not cause us to fail; He uses our failures to expose what is already in us. Photo by Quang Nguyen Vinh on Pexels.com A Man Called Peter: a brash, impulsive, bold a fisherman with gnarled hands who worked hard for a living; muscular from hauling in large wet nets with fish; a tough hide from baking in the sun. Peter’s mindset: he was looking for an earthly kingdom with a David-like leader who would kick out the Romans. Everyone believed the Messiah would establish an earthly reign and restore the fortunes of Israel to its former glory. No one had a concept of a spiritual kingdom after death and resurrection. God’s blessings were material on this earth. So, the idea that Jesus might die before he established this kingdom on earth was unacceptable! Peter was so sure of this that he was not afraid of correcting Jesus’ mistaken understanding of his mission: “From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to you.” But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”” (Matthew 16:21–23, ESV) The word for rebuke in Greek means: denounce, express strong disapproval. We are not talking about a mild disagreement. Peter is so certain of his opinion that he cannot comprehend what Jesus is talking about. Peter’s whole worldview, his theology, his expectation is being upended. It would be like saying Jesus will never return. That can’t be right! That is what Peter is thinking. It doesn’t make any sense. Peter is so ready for a military revolution with Jesus as the head of the army that when the time right for a fight, he boasts of his commitment that he is ready to die for the cause! “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Then Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away because of me this night. For it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.” Peter answered him, “Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away.” Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” Peter said to him, “Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you!” And all the disciples said the same.” (Matthew 26:30–35, ESV) Peter dismisses that. He doesn’t believe he will deny Jesus. He is ready to die for him! So, when the time comes and Jesus is surrounded, he takes his sword and starts to attack: “So he asked them again, “Whom do you seek?” And they said, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. So, if you seek me, let these men go.” This was to fulfill the word that he had spoken: “Of those whom you gave me I have lost not one.” Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”” (John 18:7–11, ESV) So, what happens? Jesus is captured, put on trial and Peter’s whole world starts coming apart!!! Not only has Jesus not turned out to be a military leader, he now is going to die? Jesus is just giving up??? Peter doesn’t know what to do or where to put his faith now. He is struggling, disappointed, confused. Everything he has spent his life on for the last three years is now being destroyed. Remember he said earlier when Jesus asked if he wanted to leave when other disciples walked away, “Lord, to whom shall we go?” In other words, where else. He said before, “we have left everything and followed you.” We walked away from our business. We’ve spent three years on the road following you around. And now you are going to die??? What gives? Were we deceived??? Photo by Nathan Cowley on Pexels.com Remember, at this time, Peter and the disciples did not know that Jesus was going to rise from the dead! In John, it says when they went into the empty tomb and saw the linen cloths lying there, “they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.” (John 20:9, ESV) So, from Peter’s point of view, the show’s over! He’s dead. He’s gone and nothing’s going to bring him back. The vision of a new Davidic Kingdom can’t happen, and Rome is not going to be kicked out. Instead of fighting, Jesus is just surrendering and with his death, the whole last three years was a waste of time. On a side note, the reason Judas betrayed Jesus was possibly the same motivation: he thought by turning Jesus in, he could force Jesus’ hand and start the promised revolution against Rome. But then, he was just using Jesus for his own agenda. He was not following him. Well, Peter can’t handle it. It’s all over and under the confusion and stress of this explosion of his hopes, Peter is identified as a follower of Jesus. And Peter denies Jesus 3 times. “Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came up to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.” But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you mean.” And when he went out to the entrance, another servant girl saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.” And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man.” After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you too are one of them, for your accent betrays you.” Then he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know the man.” And immediately the rooster crowed. And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.” (Matthew 26:69–75, ESV) …..Now Simon Peter sees himself as truly is: a weak man who in the face of death is a coward. He has failed miserably. He boasted he was not like the others and would be a hero, but he came to know himself as he really was. In fact, he has lived up to the curse of his own name, for Simon means weak! Something he had tried to live down and fight his whole life. He felt so bad. He must have remembered the words of Jesus about being a disciple. “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32–33, ESV) “Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24–26, ESV) Peter must remember that he is now disqualified not only as being a leader of the disciples but even being a disciple… And he is also looking around at the consequences of following Jesus and he does NOT want to go there. It is one thing to fight and die, but entirely another to go die without putting up a fight. It is against his nature. He must have felt like the odd man out when Jesus appeared to all of them in the upper room, like he didn’t belong. At least not anymore. He decides he’s had enough and he is going to go back to what he knows: Forget this! He’s going fishing. “After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.” (John 21:1–3, ESV) You know the story. Jesus appears on the land, tells them to cast in their nets again and they do and pull in a great haul of fish. Peter jumps out of the boat and goes to see Jesus. “When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” Notice, the name Peter means the Rock. Rock Solid as we would say, but Jesus addresses by his given name Simon, the weak. Simon, do you love me more than these? What are these? I believe Jesus was asking Peter if he loved his boat and nets and this lifestyle of fishing more than he loved Jesus? In other words: are you willing to follow me, knowing what the cost might be, or do you love the safety and predictability of being a fisherman? And Peter answers: He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep. Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.” (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.” Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, the one who also had leaned back against him during the supper and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?” When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!” So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”” (John 21:15–23, ESV) God uses failure to teach us that we are not in control of the universe. Failure shows us our weakness and our need for God. In fact, we aren’t fit to succeed until we have had major failures in our lives. Through failure comes humility. Through failure comes patience with and kindness towards others in their frailty. Peter would not have been fit to be a leader unless he had failed. Knowing his personality, he would have been a harsh judge of anyone who was weak or failed. But having failed, he learned he must also extend mercy, patience, and forgiveness to the flock of God. For we all fail in many ways. Like Peter, we must be broken to be fit for the Master’s use. Moses was full of himself as a young man, when he slew the Egyptian. In Hebrews, it says he thought he was the one to deliver Israel. But Moses was sent into the wilderness for 40 years. He was so broken of confidence in himself and his own strength that when God appeared to him in the Burning Bush, he said, I can’t lead anyone. I can’t even talk I stutter so bad. His dream was there, his vision was there, but he failed in his own strength, and then God could use him. It says of Moses that he was the meekest man on earth. The word meek comes from the bit that is put in the horse’s mouth and makes it easy to guide them. Moses was broken to be a man God could lead and use. There are many other examples in the Bible: Abraham, Joseph, David. We only come to our destiny when we are forced to recognize our weakness, and God shows us our weakness when we fail. It teaches us to rely entirely upon him and show no confidence in ourselves.
We now come near the end of our series of studies on “The Long War Against God” where we have been examining closely the Lord God's working to carry out his plan of redemption for sinners. In opposition to that has been satan's work each step of the way. Today we enter a two part series on the place that the Land Promises have in Israel's history and their interpretation. We show how they MUST be interpreted literally or most all of God's promises to his people Israel open to every interpretation imaginable, even supporting what the Apostle Paul calls “every wind of doctrine.” In this lesson we look at Israel's Land Promises concerning the Seed of Abraham, the Twelve Tribes in the Land of Promise, and the Davidic Kingdom. Next time we finish this mini-series on the Land Promises in the coming Earthly Kingdom and the resurrection hope of the Patriarchs.
In this interview, Mr. Dustin Messer speaks with co-author of a newly published commentary on Ruth. They discuss a host of questions pertaining to the content of Ruth, how to preach through Ruth, the role of application in Ruth's story, and the influence of James B. Jordan in this Ruth project. Brito says: What we argue is that Ruth is actually a political tract making the case for the Davidic Kingdom…in other words, Ruth makes the case for why Israel needs a faithful King who will be strong like Boaz, loyal like Ruth, and whose fortunes will turn like Naomi's. Beyond Boston Prophecy - Christian Based Prophetic/Talk Podcast
04-27-16 - Your Place in the Kingdom of God The Kingdom of God (and its related form Kingdom of Heaven in the Gospel of Matthew) is one of the key elements of the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament.[1] Drawing on Old Testament teachings, the Christian characterization of the relationship between God and humanity inherently involves the notion of the Kingship of God.[2][3] The Old Testament refers to "God the Judge of all" and the notion that all humans will eventually "be judged" is an essential element of Christian teachings.[4] Building on a number of New Testament passages, the Nicene Creed indicates that the task of judgment is assigned to Jesus.[4][5] The New Testament is written against the backdrop of Second Temple Judaism. The view of the kingdom developed during that time included a restoration of Israel to a Davidic Kingdom and the intervention of God in history via the Danielic Son of Man. The coming of the kingdom of God involved God finally taking back the reins of history, which he had allowed to slacken as pagan Empires had ruled the nations. Most Jewish sources imagine a restoration of Israel and either a destruction of the nations or a gathering of the nations to obedience to the One True God. Jesus stands firmly in this tradition. His association of his own person and ministry with the "coming of the kingdom" indicates that he perceives that God's great intervention in history has arrived, and that he is the agent of that intervention. His suffering and death, however, seem to cast doubt upon this (how could God's appointed king be killed) but his resurrection establishes his claim. The claim of his exaltation to the right hand of God establishes him as "king." Jesus' predictions of his return make it clear that God's kingdom is not yet fully realized according to inaugurated eschatology but in the meantime the good news that forgiveness of sins is available through his name is to be proclaimed to the nations. Thus the mission of the Church begins, and fills the time between the initial coming of the Kingdom, and its ultimate consummation with the Final Judgment. Christian interpretations or usage of the term "kingdom of God" regularly make use of this historical framework and are often consistent with the Jewish hope of a Messiah, the person and ministry of Jesus Christ, his death and resurrection, his return, and the rise of the Church in history. A question characteristic to the central theme of most interpretations is whether the "kingdom of God" has been instituted because of the appearance of Jesus Christ or whether it is yet to be instituted; whether this kingdom is present, future or is omnipresent simultaneously in both the present and future existence. The term "kingdom of God" has been used to mean Christian lifestyle, a method of world evangelization, the rediscovery of charismatic gifts and many other things. Others relate it not to our present or future earthly situation, but to the world to come. The interpretation of the phrase is often based on the theological leanings of the scholar-interpreter.[6] A number of theological interpretations of the term Kingdom of God have thus appeared in its eschatological context, e.g., apocalyptic, realized or Inaugurated eschatologies, yet no consensus has emerged among scholars.[

The Promise of the Davidic Kingdom - Part 2
The Promise of the Davidic Kingdom - Part 2
In this lesson, Carson first gives 12 characteristics of the Davidic Kingdom in the Old Testament. Since the New Covenant is a renewal and extension of the Davidic Covenant, we find these characteristics fulfilled by Jesus, Mary, Peter, and the Church in the New Testament. He then moves from a presentation of these 12 features to a quick examination of the whole of Matthew's Gospel. We move from chapter to chapter quickly to see how Matthew presents the New Kingdom in the pages of his Gospel narrative. This latter half of the episode is fast-paced and moves very quickly. As you listen to it, you will want to have a copy of Matthew's Gospel in front of you. The Catholic Church is the Davidic Kingdom redeemed, restored, and transformed. It primarily resides in heaven with the Church Triumphant centered upon her king: Jesus the Anointed One (Messiah/Christ). The Church on earth or "the Church Militant" is the Kingdom in transit. She is in a pilgrim state as her members are purified and as they shed their sin by the means of transforming grace. The 12 Characteristics of the Davidic Kingdom: 1. A Monarchy governed by its representative head: the King Jesus is our King, and the Church is a monarchy, not a democracy. 2. The Davidic Covenant is made with David's seed (Hebrew: zera'h) This is ultimately fulfilled in Jesus who is a direct descendant of David. 3. The King is anointed by a Levite, making him Messiah or Christ Jesus is anointed by the Holy Spirit when baptized by John the Baptist, a Levite. 4. The Son of David is the Son of God Jesus bears both of these titles throughout the Gospel narratives. 5. Jerusalem is the capital city with its own center located at Mount Zion The Redemption begins in the Upper Room on Mount Zion; the Church is the New Jerusalem 6. The Temple is the architectural symbol of the Davidic Covenant Both Jesus and his Mystical Body (the Church) are the New Temple 7. It is worldwide in scope, incorporating other nations. "Catholic" means "according to the whole" or "universal" - composed of every nationality. 8. It is everlasting in duration, according to God's promises It continues in the Church, which is the Kingdom restored: a Kingdom without end. 9. Its Law is found in the Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament The Psalms play a central role in Catholic worship 10. The King's personal representative was the Majordomo or Prime Minister Jesus establishes this office by giving Peter "the keys of the kingdom" 11. The King's own mother reigned as Queen Jesus' mother, Mary, was assumed into heaven where she reigns as Queen Mother 12. Principal sacrifice is the Todah or "Thanksgiving" sacrifice in the Temple The Eucharist (which means "Thanksgiving") fulfills this sacrificial offering.
In this lesson, Carson shows how the birth of the Church is none other than the restoration of the Davidic Kingdom under the Son of David: Jesus the Christ. We spend our time analyzing the Christology (thinking and studying over who Jesus is) and the Ecclesiology (thinking and studying over what the Church is) that Luke presents to us in both his Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles, which is the sequel to Luke's Gospel. When we look carefully at the details, we discover that Luke presents Jesus in royal Davidic terms to show that he is none other than the promised descendant of King David who will take up David's throne! Then, we discover that he subsequently presents the Church as the restored Davidic kingdom, united under her enthroned king: Jesus the Christ! This Church is governed by Jesus' vice-regents: the apostles who "sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel" (Luke 22:30) and their successors, the bishops. She renews her covenant with God by celebrating the royal sacrificial meal that Jesus instituted at the Last Supper, a meal Luke aptly describes as "the breaking of the bread" (Acts 2:42).
In this lesson, Carson examines the first thing Jesus says in Mark's Gospel, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel." (Mark 1:15) by looking back at its rich Old Testament background, especially as found in Isaiah 52. It is there that we discover the term "gospel," which indicates the long awaited restoration of the Davidic Kingdom: the Kingdom of David. We then take an extended look at the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), the first of five discourses Matthew's Gospel presents to us. It is in this famous sermon where Jesus, as the New Moses, indicates what he expects of his disciples. As Moses gave the Old Law (the Mosaic Law) after receiving it atop Mt. Sinai, so Jesus "went up on the mountain" (Mt 5:1) and gave the New Law. The Old Law was the positive law of the state, with the intention of showing the Israelites how to be good citizens. The New Law will demand sanctity, as we are called and empowered to become "saints of the Most High" (Daniel 7:27). As an added bonus, this podcast episode will give new insight into the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) by examining its Old Testament backdrop. Each petition of this well-known prayer shares something in common that pertains to a prominent Old Testament theme. Listen to this episode to find out what that is!
In this lesson, Carson covers 1 2 Kings, showing how the united Davidic Kingdom under Solomon split in 930 B.C. when Solomon died. This split in the Kingdom was ultimately God's punishment due to Solomon's threefold sin of (1) amassing wealth for himself, (2) acquiring a great number of wives who turned his heart to idolatrous worship, and (3) acquiring many horses for a standing army. These very three transgressions were forbidden in Deuteronomy 17. Solomon's son, Rehoboam, decided to harshen his father's rule by making the yoke on his subjects heavier. This poor decision resulted in the northern 10 tribes seceding under the reign of Jeroboam. This Northern Kingdom, bereft of the Davidic throne, is thereafter called by three popular names: Israel, Jacob, and Ephraem in the historical and prophetic books. The Southern Kingdom, now led by Rehoboam, consisted of only two of the original 12 tribes: Judah and Benjamin. It is now called the Kingdom of Judah. Since the Levites did not acquire tribal land and resided in the Levitical cities, both kingdoms contained descendants from the tribe of Levi as well. We also take a look at the ministry of Elijah and Elisha and see how this history foreshadows the ministry of both John the Baptist and Jesus.
In this lesson, Carson reviews the defining characteristics of the Davidic Covenant before moving into the reign of King Solomon. Bethsheba, whose name means Daughter of the Oath is elevated by her son, Solomon, to the office of Queen Mother. In eastern kingdoms - including the Davidic Kingdom - the mother of the king reigned as queen (not the king's wife). In Israel, the name Israelites used to refer to the Queen Mother is Gebirah, which is a Hebrew word meaning "Great Lady." We look at how this office is ultimately fulfilled by Mary, the mother of King Jesus, who is portrayed in St. John's Apocalypse as Queen Mother in the twelve chapter of the Book of Revelation. Another prominent feature of Solomon's court is that of the vizier, which can be likened to the position of prime minister in the Western monarchies we are more familiar with. Just as Solomon built the Temple upon the eben shetiyah (Hebrew for "stone of foundation), so Jesus (the New Solomon) will build his Church (the New Temple) upon Peter (the New Eben Shetiyah). We then discern the papacy's foundation in Scripture using Isaiah 22:20-22, the narrative of Joseph and Pharaoh in Genesis, the narrative of Daniel Nebuchadnezzar in the Book of Daniel, the geography of Palestine, as well as Greek Aramaic etymology. When the evidence is clearly evaluated, we are able to understand how Scripture portrays Peter as the first pope.
