W paryskim domu pallotynów, w przestrzeni od lat związanej z polską refleksją religijną i filozoficzną, ks. prof. Robert Woźniak opowiada o duchowym wymiarze Paryża, o własnym odkrywaniu kapłaństwa i o tym, co w nauczaniu ks. Józefa Tischnera pozostaje dla niego kluczem do zrozumienia współczesności.Rozmowa zaczyna się od pytania o osobiste znaczenie nauczania Tischnera. Ksiądz Woźniak przywołuje słynne słowa filozofa wypowiedziane na wykładzie:„Jestem człowiekiem, potem filozofem, potem trochę długo, długo nic i dopiero księdzem”.A jednak sam odbierał go inaczej:„Moje doświadczenie Józefa Tischnera jest takie, że był księdzem, człowiekiem, filozofem i że to wszystko było gdzieś na jednym poziomie. To był taki człowiek integralny”.Woźniak podkreśla, że dopiero jako ksiądz naprawdę zrozumiał Tischnera:„Jako kleryk go nie rozumiałem, jako ksiądz go zrozumiałem. Rzeczywiście to kapłaństwo było u niego pewną cechą, pewnym kształtem jego człowieczeństwa”.Czy młody człowiek może zrozumieć Tischnera?Ksiądz profesor odpowiada z przekonaniem, że tak — pod warunkiem wysiłku intelektualnego:„Warto czytać tylko książki, których nie rozumiemy. (…) Każdy jest w stanie zrozumieć Tischnera, jeśli tylko w to włoży serce i czas i intelekt”.Paryż – miasto wielkiej teologiiW dalszej części rozmowy ks. Woźniak tłumaczy, dlaczego Paryż pozostaje dla niego miejscem wyjątkowym duchowo:„To miasto, w którym powstawała wielka teologia, która zdecydowała i doprowadziła do Soboru Watykańskiego II”.Dodaje również, że wybór kard. Lustigera przemienił oblicze paryskiego Kościoła, czyniąc go laboratorium duchowej odnowy:„Dobre miejsce także dlatego, że chyba jest takim przyczółkiem, taką awangardą pokazującą, czym mogłoby być życie Kościoła w zlaicyzowanym świecie”.Paryski Kościół określa jako żywą wspólnotę:„Wspólnotą, piękną liturgią, w dużej mierze pewnego rodzaju skromnością”, tworzoną przez „ludzi z biedniejszej sfery, ale także szlachtę”.Metafizyka — wciąż niezbywalna?Na pytanie o miejsce metafizyki w świecie nowych technologii, w tym sztucznej inteligencji, Ksiądz Profesor odpowiada bez wahania:„Myślę, że ona jest niezbywalna, to znaczy nawet jeśli byśmy chcieli od niej uciec, (…) to myślę, że przed metafizyką nie uciekniemy”.Dla niego metafizyka nie jest próbą łatwych wyjaśnień, lecz przestrzenią piękna i tajemnicy:„W metafizyce przede wszystkim jest jakieś piękno, które otwiera na przyszłość”.Przywołuje też najważniejsze pytania ludzkiej egzystencji, o których pisał Jan Paweł II w Fides et Ratio:„Jaki jest sens życia, po co istnieję, czy warto istnieć, co jest prawdą?”.Jego zdaniem młodzi ludzie także dziś te pytania noszą w sobie — nawet jeśli nie zawsze znajdują dorosłych, którzy pomogą im je wypowiedzieć.Ulubiony święty i ulubiony cytatGdy pojawia się pytanie o „ulubionego świętego”, nasz rozmówca wskazuje na Ireneusza z Lyonu:„To jest święty, który ma klucz do zrozumienia naszej epoki”.Przywołuje centralne dla jego teologii zdanie:„Chwałą Boga jest człowiek żyjący, a życiem człowieka jest oglądanie Boga”.I dodaje, że właśnie to zdanie… najlepiej streszcza, co najcenniejszego znajduje u Tischnera:„Za to lubię Tischnera — że nauczył mnie, iż celem mojego działania duszpasterskiego i celem mojego bycia człowiekiem jest, żebym dojrzał intelektualnie i dojrzał w wolności”.Wywiad kończy się prostym podsumowaniem tej Tischnerowskiej lekcji:„To jest cel życia księdza — żeby człowiek zakwitnął w poznaniu prawdy i w wolności”.

La COP 30 (Conférence sur les changements climatiques), grand rendez-vous pour tenter de s'entendre au niveau mondial dans la lutte contre le changement climatique, s'est ouverte à Belém au Brésil, aux portes de la forêt amazonienne. 10 ans après les Accords de Paris qui avaient fait naître l'espoir d'un effort collectif de toutes les nations du monde pour réduire les gaz à effet de serre et tenter d'inverser la tendance du réchauffement de la planète, le constat est amer. «La vérité est que nous n'avons pas réussi à maintenir le réchauffement à moins de 1,5°C», a reconnu le secrétaire général de l'ONU, Antonio Guterres. Ces efforts conjoints doivent s'exercer au niveau politique, mais en l'absence des plus grands pollueurs comme les États-Unis qui sont sortis de l'Accord de Paris et qui déploient un climato-scepticisme à travers le globe, la dynamique de l'effort n'est pas au rendez-vous. Du côté des représentants des religions dans le monde, certains tentent de s'impliquer. Qu'est-ce que les religions ont à dire sur ces questions ? Comment ces questions sont-elles relayées auprès de leurs fidèles ? A l'occasion des 500 ans des mennonites neuchâtelois, cette conférence invite à parcourir le destin – historique, géopolitique, mais aussi local – d'une idée qui a transformé nos sociétés, et mérite d'être toujours réfléchie. Séparer l'Église et l'État : cette idée révolutionnaire surgit au XVIe siècle, chez une poignée de dissidents. Ces dissidents, les mennonites neuchâtelois, en sont les héritiers directs. Longtemps combattue par les autorités catholiques et protestantes, l'idée fait son chemin, traverse l'Atlantique et finit par s'imposer, sous des formes variées, dans les sociétés démocratiques, libérales et séculières. Jusqu'à peu, elle paraissait aller de soi. Les poussées fondamentalistes et les nationalismes religieux qui s'emparent aujourd'hui de pays entiers rappellent sa fragilité, et sa valeur : coexister pacifiquement, malgré nos différences. - Philippe Gonzalez est sociologue à l'Université de Lausanne, spécialiste de l'évangélisme. Ses travaux actuels portent notamment sur le statut des religions dans l'espace public et le dialogue interreligieux, à l'articulation avec des enjeux politiques.
